My friend and I came for the first time and had Breakfast. We ended up splitting the Avocado Toast with Eggs. We like our eggs prepared differently and the chef made them perfect. The food was delicious and coffe strong just the way I like it. The server Kami was very attentive and gave us plenty of coffee refills and one even to go so that was super! The place was super clean and they have a really nice looking bar. Can't wait to come back to try lunch or dinner! read more

Service is top notch and ambiance is amazing too. But for me food quality was ok. Got egg Benedict but it was too overwhelming and salty.. won't be coming back unfortunately:/ read more

We visited this restaurant on a very busy day and they were a little bit understaffed, but surprisingly the food was still good and you would think with all of the additional people that were there they would miss but did not. read more

Came during the soft opening with some friends and we had a pretty decent experience. I'll start with the food, the breakfast burritos are really tasty. We got ours with tater tots inside, they were perfectly crispy. The turkey chorizo was flavorful. The chilaquiles were a bit dry, they could use more sauce. Everything came out really fast and the service was great until then. After the food was put down it took forever for our server to return. Things fell apart a bit when it came to our drinks. They don't disclose on the menu that it costs a dollar extra for iced coffee. We asked if they could confirm if it was written somewhere and then a manager came by and she said the charge is for using a bigger cup and for a bit of extra coffee, and something about it being a soft opening menu and formatting issues to include the charge.... Left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Omelette and "our style" potatoes were extremely fresh and high quality, worlds above the other options like Kimmie's coffee shop and Ihop nearby but that breakfast item was around similar price as those two places in Brea. No cell signal in area but they have fast free wifi read more

We really enjoyed our first visit. Blown away by the freshness of the food. Service excellent. I was a tad confused why decaf coffee is not offered/available. Otherwise, looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for opening in North Brea. A quality restaurant like yours was needed. read more

Where should I start? Our Nest is the place to go if you're looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The food's flavor, ambience, and customer service are all remarkable. I do like the tables in the bar area, but the patio sitting is really cool. I really couldn't choose just one dish to suggest because they are all so flavorful and excellent. I want to caution you, one visit and you'll be hooked, regardless of whether you are coming in for their dry aged Tomahawk steak, spicy enchiladas or French toast. read more

First time at this restaurant and came with a large group. Overall the food was good and the service was great. Sara B did well navigating all of our orders. The food was pricey however. For example my friend got a salad and an iced tea. The total was 37+$. Also, I ordered a breakfast meal with toast and when I asked for jam I was told I would have to pay extra for that. As a group it was too pricey and the up charge for a small amount of jam for your toast was a little much. So unfortunately it was a one and done kind of place. read more

It's apparently quite a popular restaurant, and I can certainly see why. The food is fresh, well prepared, and delicious. The restaurant itself is clean and comfortable (delicious coffee). We have visited twice, both times between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m., and unfortunately, experienced the same issues on both occasions: slow service, lack of continuity among servers, and very slow food delivery. Waiting 45-50 minutes for breakfast at this price point is excessive. I understand that the food is prepared fresh; however, I've been to many breakfast restaurants serving comparable--or even better--meals that deliver them in half the time. On both visits, multiple waitstaff attended to our table, and I'm not sure we were ever assigned a primary server. That in itself isn't necessarily a problem, but on both occasions (very minor) special requests were missed. After already waiting nearly an hour for the meal, it didn't seem worth asking for corrections (so I didnt). I consider dining out to be a total experience, and while the food itself is very good, the service issues have been consistent enough that we won't be returning. The restaurant was packed when we left, so clearly they don't need our business -- but I wanted to share the feedback nonetheless. read more

This place is amazing! It's beautiful inside, service was great and the food... DELICIOUS!! I had the avocado toast picture here. It was sooo good, I will definitely be back for this again! Plus so many other items on menu I want to try. They now have happy hour and dinner, will for sure be back to try also. Great add to Brea, so glad to have a good restaurant here. read more

Our Nest - Avocado toast yum!!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brea, California

menu, ambiance, service, food easy parking! Great place to spend an evening with family and friends Also great deserts!

The food priced from $20 to $50.00, little overpriced for breakfast. If you ask for warm water, they'll charge you too. The food is average for the price. I came to seat there at least 5 minutes without any waiter came by. Probably won't come back. read more

Food is great! It's worth a try! Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

Fantastic food! We're always looking for places that don't use seed oils. You can actually taste how fresh the food is! Went for an omlette yesterday, came back the next morning for chilliquiles! Fun vibe, super nice people! read more

We are long time patrons of the Fullerton location and have enjoyed the distinct breakfast and lunch menus of it and the Brea location. We have attended the occasional set menu dinners in Fullerton so we were excited when dinner was offered here. But life got in the way and we did not try it until last Friday. OMG the whole experience was exceptional. JP is such a creative and exacting chef. The short rib special was cooked in and served in a deceptively described "red wine" sauce given the layers of flavors. The Checca Pasta was fresh, creamy and perfect with Chilean Seabass. read more

I cannot say enough about Our Nest. The food is amazing... at this point I think my husband I have tried all the breakfast items between both locations. The problem now is deciding what to get because everything is sooooo good. The guest service is amazing. read more

We've been to the Fullerton location quite a few times and were always treated like family. This new expansion is no different. Sadly, I don't remember our server's name, but he was very friendly and a joy to speak with. The greeter was also very warm and welcoming. I love how open and roomy the new place looks and feels. The new balcony is such a vibe, and everything is so clean and fresh. I'm sure the bar will be a hit once more people discover this new gem. Let's talk food! They're known for their French Toast, so you can never go wrong ordering it. The breakfast burger is also fantastic. The cheese sauce it comes with--dip your fries in it. It's so good!! If you like coffee, I recommend their Americano. I plan on trying the matcha latte next~ If you have a large dog and can afford it, order the Tomahawk and take home the bone. Your dog will love you forever. Haha! Lastly, I just want to say that the owners of this place are great and are sharing their dream with us. You can see it, feel it and taste it in the food. :) Keep up the great work everyone and we'll see you again real soon! read more

When we heard that Our Nest in Fullerton was going to open another restaurant or course we wanted to go. The Nest breakfast in Fullerton is great! When we arrived at the Nest in Brea for lunch we were greeted by the staff that saw us and welcomed us to sit where we wanted. A young lady came over to our table and introduced herself as Sarah. We told her it was our 1st time there but always went to breakfast at the fullerton restraurant so she was happy we came in. I ordered a Chicken Grilled salad it was delicious & the presentation was done very well. Service was great staff was very attentive. Ambiance was great. We invited some friend to go there with us for dinner. Dinner was wonderful! If I thought lunch was good dinner was beyond words. Our friends really loved this place. I had the Chilean Seabass, wonderful cooked perfectly, my friend had the Shrimp Diablo which she loved. Her husband & mine had the Italian Stallion which they both loved. My friend and I had a Cadillac Margarita best I've had in a long time yummy. We will be back! read more

It melted in my mouth and I ended up ordering the plate. Added the Mulitas to round off the meal. It was just what I was looking for. Nice size portion, too. read more

Great food, great service and the owners are very friendly. Server Sara is the best! I highly recommend the pancakes and the French toast.

I love this place. The menu is a very large so it's hard to choose a meal. I thought the food was great and the servers were kind, but extremely slow. It took a LONG time to bring out the food. We were not in a hurry, but it was excessive and we felt ignored. Just as we were thinking of leaving, our food came out. It was weird because as we looked around the dining area, none of the tables had food?? There seems to be plenty of workers, but their jobs don't seem to be defined. Every time someone came to the table it was a different person. Several people offered to get beverages or take an order. Who was supposed to do it? Many restaurants do service with several people, so I would blame it on management. Despite that, I would probably go again, the food was great! read more

The food was good and we had different waiters check in on us through the meal. However the no substitutions policy was a factor as well as an additional $7.50 to share certain plates seemed silly. The food was good but it was on the pricier side. Our group of 4 tab was $155 total read more

Our Nest - Our French toast A-Aron (not shareable) - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brea, California

First time here and was sadly disappointed. Upon being greeted we were allowed to sit wherever. After 15-20 minutes of sitting without even so much as a menu, I asked a busboy to call a server over. Finally, a server came, but still - no menus provided. Drink menu was luckily at the table but I had to steal food menus from an empty table nearby. Then the drink order wasn't placed correctly (coffee served cold instead of hot). Finally, our food order was placed. Several minutes later, the server comes over to apologize for entering the food order late. After more waiting, we finally received our food - and then we realized no silverware was provided. So overall, not the best service. The food was also under-seasoned and relied heavily on their salsa for flavor. read more

Barely scrapes 3 stars... only because the food was good. Heard good things about their other location so figured we'd try this. Had a long morning and had bought coffee and of course we were greeted with no outside drinks by the waitress. That's fine, I get that. Didn't argue or give a face because that's understandable. But, I had told her table for two please and it looked like she was writing my name down for two. We went out to put the drinks in the car and came back and waited. 10 minutes go by and everyone around us is getting seated. I ask some other dude and he said our name wasn't even on the list... Did she scratch our name off when we walked out to put the drink away? lmao, anyways we waited another 10 minutes before finally getting seated. You can't see how busy the restaurant is from the waiting area but when we got seated I was surprised to see tons of empty tables... Good stuff! Same waitress from earlier had the nerve to come by and ask if we wanted coffee lol. Overall food was good albeit pricey. But, you can tell some of the workers don't care. Might head to the other location next time. read more

This is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always fresh and the portions are big.
