what a find. no seed oils, organic ingredients, grass fed beef, organic eggs, AND this place is actually good. very local vibes and such a comfortable, nice place to have brunch. carnitas were so bomb; super flavorful and not dry at all. made the chilaquiles rlly yum. benedicts were done well too, just wasn't rlly a fan of the muffin they used. the FRENCH TOAST tho omg. i've been thinking about it for days. SO fluffy and moist, almost flaky rather than just bread soaked in egg. lowkey reminded me of a cinnabon. every bite had this warm, comforting flavor and the peaches + crumble were such a perfect combo. ion even like french toast like that but this one i actually want again. only downside was the drinks were pretty mediocre. nothing necessarily bad about them, they just didn't rlly leave an impression compared to how good the food was. asides that, this is def gonna be one of my go-to brunch places. quality ingredients, rlly good food, comfortable local vibes, and that french toast alone has me wanting to come back.

This restaurant is a gem! It is family owned. The owners and all the staff are amazing. The restaurant is always clean! The food is fresh and made daily. Breakfast is wonderful. There are healthy options, not so healthy options, and absolutely delicious sweet options! Today we had the Chilaquiles and Carnitas and the steak and eggs. They also have a nice coffee selection. There is a lot of parking.

If you are vegan, do not come here. They don't really make any substitutions or modifications. I don't know why it showed up on Yelp as one of the first vegan options. There are a few vegetarian options. Very peaceful breakfast atmosphere. Not a lot of customers. Very chatty and lively at the same. Two tv at the bar playing random news. Giant coffee machines. I like the exposed ceiling. Everything feels clean. I did see someone wipe their nose as they were refilling the ice and that was gross. The owner said he will addressed the issue with that person. We got coffee, portobello eggs Benedict with sourdough instead of English muffin and hash browns, and chiliquiles with carnitas on the side, hot salsa, and over easy eggs. Pretty presentations. The food was really yummy. I love the fluffy sourdough. Well seasoned. Massive portion sizes. Took half home.

Good service friendly servers. Wish coffee would have descriptions she explained it but than I couldn't remember and had to ask again lol. Than someone else took over for whatever reason and he was very nice and took the rest of our orders and brought out our food Nice spacious great for large groups. My friends omelette didn't have the ingredients mixed in the egg which was different but other than that everything was good

Upon our return and ordering something with eggs, our nest has sold me into hopefully becoming a semi-regular. From the refillable drip to their specialty lattes, the menu.. I can't wait to come back and try their burritos, sammiches, bowls and everything else I can get my grubby hands on. The omelette was properly fluffy with generous mushrooms, if that's what you'd choose. The roast of choice comes toasted and buttered. There's also a little tiny side salad that I thoroughly enjoyed. Attentive service and plenty of seating at this joint. So many choices other than the French toast and they have different specials depending on the day!

Three hungry brothers walks into the establishment for the very first time. Each orders the 16 oz Rib Eye Steak with Chimichurry sauce. It was so juicy, moist, dripping with flavor. Undeniably the best steak ever. It came with eggs and potato and toast. So good. We highly suggest trying this place out. Plenty of parking. Service was on point. Compliments to the chef/s. Super clean and comfortable. We will be back. No doubt.

My travel scheduled has kept me away from Our nest so had to stop by while I was in Brea. Best breakfast spot in Brea and surrounding areas. I love the carnitas Machaca hash. Sooooo good. Perfectly cooked and comes with rice and beans. The green salsa has the best flavor. Service is fast and friendly. TVs are a nice touch for your morning cup of coffee. Probably my favorite meal here. Always a clean friendly atmosphere here.

I'd been to their Fullerton eatery and enjoyed it so, when the opportunity arose, I jumped at the chance to meet a friend and go eat at this location with the intent of having breakfast for lunch. The interior of this place is much larger than Fullerton and, upon entering, were told to sit anywhere we desired. Just outside the entrance they had a board proclaiming their specials of the day. After looking over the many options on the menu I opted to order a special I spotted on that board: raspberry & lemon curd french toast! While awaiting my meal I ordered a cup of regular ol' black coffee. Believe me when I say that cup of coffee was a fantastic one; they have superb coffee here. My french toast was amazing. Thick-cut & fried brioche bread with a magnificent exterior crunch yet soft inside, served with lemon curd and raspberry puree along with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. Definitely award-winning french toast. My friend, a vegetarian, ordered a different french toast and was envious of mine. Hers was a bit mushy and came with a side of bacon and sausage which she promptly handed over to me. The sausage was very flavorful and the bacon was meaty, simultaneously crisp and chewy, and very much appreciated by me. I loved my meal and was disappointed my dining partner had a less stellar experience. I guess it all depends on what you order.

Seems like everything in this plaza has "Nest" in it: Our Nest (the restaurant), The Nest (hair salon), Skin by The Nest (facials and such). Imagine by confusion when I arrived and I was confused about where I was supposed to meet up with my friend for brunch. Not sure if all these businesses are operated by the same family, but just be aware of which door you need to go into. Hahaha Our Nest is super cute inside - the decor is modern and has an open and relaxing ambiance. There is a separate area in the front that would be good for larger parties or special gatherings. I like that their menu has so much variety! From breakfast burritos to steaks, and benedicts to bowls. I think they have a collab with something called Rudy's because they have a list of Mexican items that take up half the menu on the back. If you want some brunchy cocktails and bubbles, they have those too! They are kid friendly with various kids meal options available. There's truly something for everyone here! My friend enjoyed the chilaquiles burrito and I had the B.A.B.S Bowl. Both of our dishes were good. The burrito came with something called menguiche which we initially thought was sour cream, but turns out it was a cheese based sauce. For some reason I thought the base of my B.A.B.S bowl was going to be quinoa, but it was essentially a spinach salad with chicken, eggs, and a variety of veggies. The quinoa was just sprinkled on top as a garnish. The dish was colorful, fresh and tasty - everything I like on a plate. We had a couple servers who would come by to help us, so it was a team effort to get us everything we wanted and needed. I kind of like that method, as we didn't have to wait for one particular server to help us in case they are busy. Overall a great experience, I'll be back!

$16 BREAKFAST TAQUITOS: not fav dish (slightly dry). Comes w/ avocado & green salsa, not enough. Eggs are FRESH! Quality ingredients.

PARKING (5/5): It's a big parking lot that they share with all the restaurants in the plaza. Shouldn't have an issue finding parking. All free of course! Gotta love OC. AMBIANCE (5/5): It's a BIG restaurant with a TON of seating! They have a small patio area that makes it feel indoor/outdoor. Clean and modern decor. SERVICE (4/5): Came on a weekday morning for breakfast so it was empty. No one at the hostess desk when you walk in because the foot traffic is so light during the weekdays. But they are keeping an eye out and prompt on greeting & seating everyone that walks in. Quick to take orders and check to make sure all the food is ok and you don't need anything further. FOOD (4/5): I've only been to the PLACENTIA location, which I absolutely loved! But they closed it so I've been dying to try the Brea location! $8 LA REINA LATTE (+$0.75 for OAT MILK): this is the most popular latte. It's a Spanish latte, very delicious! Can't go wrong ordering this! $16 BREAKFAST TAQUITOS: this wasn't my favorite dish here. I know there's a ton of better options, but I just really felt like taquitos. It's filled with turkey chorizo (slightly dry). It comes with some avocado salsa and green salsa on the plate. The green salsa isn't enough for the 4 taquitos being served, they let you order more salsa for (+$1 extra), which is cheap given the delicious homemade salsa, but I think more should be included with the dish. The eggs are FRESH! The yolks were so orange, which you know means the freshest ingredients! $23 LOCO MOCO: a solid dish! The GRAVY IS SO GOOD! The most important part of the dish is the gravy! Served over fried rice with fresh eggs, this was a perfect dish. OVERALL (4/5): I ordered wrong here getting the breakfast taquitos. BUT, I love this restaurant because they use the freshest ingredients and take great quality in their food. This will be in my rotation of top breakfast spots in the area. Can't wait to try all of the dishes and I want to come back here for their lunch/dinner options because it looks AMAZING! Highly recommend.

First time trying this beautiful restaurant in Brea I meet my friends and the service is a top notch. The food was so delicious. The coffee was hot and good. The ambience was so relaxing. The music level is perfect clean neat restaurant. I absolutely love it and the portion. It's big. I couldn't even finish my food and definitely I recommend this beautiful restaurant. The owners came and chatted with us ,very nice welcoming smile make me feel happy. Thank you for all your generosity .

I first tried Our Nest when they were at their Fullerton location, which has since closed--so I was a little bummed. Luckily, I found out they opened a new spot in Brea, and I was excited to check it out. I ordered the Wedge Salad, which was good overall, but it came with a bit too much ranch dressing and ended up soaking a lot of the salad. In hindsight, I probably should've asked for the dressing on the side. I also wasn't a big fan of the bacon bits--they were dry and not very crispy. Next time, I'd likely skip those and ask for extra fried onions instead. It's also like $22 which I think is a little pricey for a block of lettuce. My boyfriend ordered the veggie omelette, which came with a crispy hashbrown that I enjoyed. At first, he thought another side was included and chose mini pancakes, but later found out they were an extra $3. It would've been helpful if that upcharge was mentioned ahead of time. On a brighter note, their Spanish Latte was quite good. I just wish they offered a few more flavor options.

Amber S.

I would've given five stars, but since they charged the wrong cards to the wrong checks, I'm giving four. First of all make sure to check to make sure what ur charged and what your original check is matches. The food is very delicious, the seating is pretty open, a lot bigger than what it looks like from the outside. There are a lot of people doing a lot of different things at once so it seems easy for them to juggle things wrongly.

Came here after hearing great things about the food, and honestly I left wondering if we went to the same place everyone else reviewed. The Bloody Mary was hands-down the worst one I've ever had. Zero flavor. Not "subtle" -- literally tasted like watered-down tomato juice with sadness mixed in. I kept waiting for seasoning, spice, anything... and nothing ever showed up. Others ordered the mimosa and seemed to really enjoy it. Heard they freeze orange juice into an ice cube, definitely a novel idea and worthy of trying at home. Then came the loco moco disaster. Apparently this place decided to reinvent loco moco by layering sautéed spinach underneath the hamburger patty like it was some kind of fine dining salad situation. I'm sorry, but when I order loco moco, I'm not expecting a bed of wilted greens hiding under my beef patty. And because they have a strict no-modifications policy, I couldn't even ask for it without the spinach. So instead of comforting Hawaiian-style food, I got a weird health-food identity crisis on a plate. The spam fried rice had big vegetable chunks thrown in for no apparent reason. Maybe they were trying to think outside the box but small diced vegetables in fried rice is definitely the way to go. The hamburger patty itself was dry, overly salty, and tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Service was generally fine. Waiter came by fairly often to refill drinks which is always appreciated. Although when I mentioned the food was salty I got kind of a half shrug and nothing else. The whole meal felt like a chef trying way too hard to put an "elevated modern twist" on dishes that never needed fixing in the first place. Sometimes simpler is better. Super disappointing experience after all the hype. read more

Came here for brunch and immediately saw that this location didn't have the same selection as their Fullerton spot. My boyfriend went for the chilaquiles burrito with filet mignon (yes, burrito + steak = brunch goals), and he said it was spot-on--the meat cooked just right. I ordered the berry burrata sandwich, which was tasty, but someone in the kitchen clearly has a deep love affair with arugula... because wow, it was stuffed to the brim with it. We sat in the "patio," which turned out not to be outdoors at all but more of a private glass-enclosed room. Food? Really good. Service? Let's just say flagging down a waiter felt like trying to catch a taxi in the rain--possible, but not easy. Overall, solid brunch, but I'd come back with a little extra patience (and maybe request light on the arugula). read more

First of all if I could, I would rate the restaurant 3.5 starts. The four of us (2 couples) visited Our Nest for a brunch on a Thursday at 11am. We regularly get together and go out for a meal. Note that we are 4 retired seniors, and I wear hearing aids. The restaurant was somewhat dark and we had a bit of difficulty reading the menu. There was loud music and the restaurant did not have much sound deadening materials on the ceiling and walls. I ordered an omelette and found it very tasty. My wife ordered waffles with fruit and enjoyed it. An order of eggs and their version of Avocado Toast (with a lot of avocado) was very good. 2 of us ordered the Our Potatoes which were fingerling potatoes cut into good-sized pieces. There was just a light seasoning on them and they were cooked slightly so, they were almost "crunchy." I found them ok but, I would probably go for the hash browns or tater tots if we returned. Our other friend did not like them at all. My wife asked about a decaf coffee and they did not have the capability to make it but, informed us that they were in the process of getting the equipment to make a decaf coffee. She ordered the Latte with caffeine, and enjoyed it. Note the menu does indicate that an 18% gratuity is charged for parties of 5 or more and 22% for parties of 8 or more. Butter was free but, the jam for my English Muffin was 50 cents. When our bill came, there was a lower total for cash. I would probably come again but, one friend with the potatoes did not want to return. read more

Unfortunately, my family, wife and my newborn of just over 6 months had very terrible experience with rude customer service , a very hostile owner, and it was my 1st time with here. Took over an hour to get food, we just left because it was taking too long and we were very hungry. Others that sat down after us got their food first, we decided to leave for the very long wait time after seeing this. Overall I cannot recommend this place. If you like to wait over an hour, and be told you're wrong by a hostile owner and team come here! Food barely looked edible, I cook better than this place bland food, and definitely definitely not worth the overpriced food items. Unfriendly and undeserving staff, unprofessional, and the customers is always(usually) right idea absolutely does not apply not right here. If you anything goes wrong it's your fault. Not theirs. Not deserving of being given a second chance. A waste of my family's time all together. read more

A friend and I tried this place for breakfast recently and neither one of us were very impressed. She had the pork hash, which came with beans and rice and tortillas and I had the pork breakfast tacos. Both of us thought the pork tasted a little bit funny. Kind of gamey perhaps. I ate almost all 3 tacos, but they weren't really that enjoyable and she only ate half of her food and was done. I won't say it was bad but it wasn't anything great, maybe we both ordered the wrong thing. I should've just gone with my gut and ordered pancakes. Live and learn. Something that bothered both of us were the split fees of $7.50. That was a real turn off because the prices were already expensive. Not sure if we would come back here or not. read more

I was there 8am this morning, ordered spicy steak. Best breakfast ever. Unfortunately the waitress was extremely unfriendly. She made me feel unwanted. I made small talk, slow today, she gave me a dirty look and walked away. I was the only person there! She delivered my steak, I asked do u have 57? She said what is that? Walked away. Never came back to see if I needed water or napkins. I have never seen such poor people skills. Then I asked for check, she never asked cash or card, I found out later looking at my receipt they have cash discount, after I paid with my card. Once again, another delicious breakfast at Our Nest. The chili verde was so flavorful, the smoky tartness of the tomatillos and the tender pork made for some of the best chili verde we've had in a long time. Would definitely order again. The bacon relish on the avocado toast was very porky and not too "cured" tasting. I expected it to taste like crispy chopped Farmer John's bacon, but it exceeded my expectations. About 20 minutes after our arrival the place was packed and the service remained top notch. Our drinks were regularly refilled and we were very well taken care of. We had an incredible experience dining at Our Nest in Brea! From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was beautiful--airy, moody, and inviting. The service was excellent, and the food exceeded every expectation. We started with the Parmesan tallow fries, which had the perfect crunch, and the Berry Burrata paired with prosciutto and berry spread--absolutely delicious. For our entrée, we shared the 16oz dry aged New York steak with Yukon gold potatoes and veggies. The flavors were outstanding, especially with the chimichurri. Our kids enjoyed the Italian Stallion sandwich with Parmesan focaccia and homemade cheese sauce was excellent for dipping fries in! , they also devoured the creamy bacon mac & cheese. Dessert was mind blowing: the bread pudding tasted like the center of a cinnamon roll, served warm with Rich Farms vanilla ice cream and dulce de leche caramel sauce.... no words. Every bite of our meal was outstanding--we didn't leave a single crumb! One of the owners JonPaul went up to every table, greeted everyone and shared recommendations, details on preparation of dishes and made sure everyone was happy with their meals a true class act and master at culinary craft! This will definitely be our new date night spot. Highly recommend for any occasion! read more

We celebrated our anniversary tonight at Our Nest. We are never disappointed. The food is delicious and not generic. My husband had the Blackened Salmon with garlic mashed potatoes and roasted asparagus. Cleaned his plate! I had the Checca Pasta, capellini pasta tossed in a yummy light sauce served over fresh burrata. I added three large shrimp. Wanted to lick the plate! Had the fresh apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert. A wonderful meal. The wait staff of Letty, Kody and Brent were very attentive. Love this restaurant! read more

I ordered the chili verde pork and it was absolutely delicious. I rarely finish an entire breakfast plate, but I cleaned mine this time! My husband had the French toast and it was just as perfect and he finished his too, and it was so flavorful that I didn't even need to use the syrup. The toast was the best my husband said he had in his life and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The only downside was that the pacing of food was off. Last time at the Fullerton location I got my entree 20 minutes after my husband's. This time he got his eggs and bacon and the banana foster that comes with his french toast Aaron meal about halfway through our meal. Our bill was dropped off about 15 minutes after we got our food. I understand the restaurant is very popular and they have to keep things moving, but it would've been nice to enjoy the meal at a slightly more relaxed pace. That said, the food itself was outstanding, and we'll definitely be back! Updated to 5 stars: I love that the owner is super responsive and acknowledged my feedback right away about food timing. I appreciate that proactivity a lot, and we will be back! read more

We just discovered this place for breakfast and OMG -we will definitely be regulars on a going forward basis. Our server, Sarah B, was friendly and enthusiastic. The restaurant has an amazing, eclectic menu, and the food was absolutely delicious (and as a bonus all organic)! I had the breakfast tostaditas with over easy eggs. I ate every single bite and didn't leave feeling bloated and overfed. It was delicious, fresh and light. My husband had the three Carnitas breakfast tacos. He said they were mildly spicy and absolutely delicious. We can't wait to come back and try their new dinner menu. Although we didn't have anything to drink with our breakfast, they do have a full bar and an experienced bartender. I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Our Nest - Brea has only been open a short while and it's already one of my favorite brunch spots. The food is outstanding and the service is consistently excellent. Had the Spicy Steak & Eggs... the filet mignon was cooked perfectly, so tender I cut it with my butter knife. Juicy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the eggs, chili oil, cotija, and seasoned black beans. Every bite was balanced and delicious. The space is fresh, modern, and inviting. The ambiance is bright, airy, and full of energy. It's the kind of place where you can relax and catch up with friends. I was also pleasantly surprised to see Sara B here! I know her as a bartender and server from another local restaurant, and she's awesome. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely great at what she does. A true pro. If you're near Brea, this place is a must! Don't forget to ask for Sara B... read more

Was excited to try this place for the first time. Put our names in and asked for table. They said 15 min wait and would text us. We waited in front, never texted or called our name. Finally the girl looked at us and said two, and tried to seat us athe end of the bar. We said no, she took us over to a table. I actually timed it with my watch, sat for 15 min, no water or anyone approaching us. We got up to leave, no one noticed or said goodbye. Worst service ever, that has never happened to us anywhere. Went down the street to Toast and had the best service and delicious lunch! read more

I almost do not want to write this because I would love to keep this gem a secret, but Our Nest deserves to be shared. The space is modern and beautifully clean, the staff is warm and attentive. Lots of parking too! The food is where they truly shine. Portions are perfectly balanced, focused on quality rather than excess. The French toast was unforgettable, buttery and crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. Their fresh cream, with visible vanilla bean, and the ripe berries on top made every bite feel indulgent yet light. My husband's plate was equally delicious, with eggs that were fluffy and vegetables that tasted fresh and full of flavor. Every dish felt carefully crafted and full of thought, the kind of meal that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. This is not just another brunch spot. It is a place that truly values quality, detail, and the experience of its guests. History

Established in 2020.

Our nest was first open march 1st , 2020 in city of Fullerton. All of our healthier choices came from our meal prep company that we started in 2012-2022. We started meal prep so we could eventually open a restaurant. Samantha and I did not have the money to just open a restaurant but we knew what we wanted and all purpose meal prep got us there. Meal prep got us through COVID. If we did not have both businesses operating out of Fullerton. Brea is our next step in growth we opened July 15th, 2025. We are here to create a community.

We visited on a weekday evening for dinner and found that the restaurant had largely retained the same look and layout from its days as TAPS. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple of other occupied tables during our visit. While the menu offered a variety of options, it looked limited and, more importantly, significantly overpriced. Signature rolls ranged from $24 to $26, and even a simple pork-and-rice dish was priced at $25. We ordered the Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta, the Dragon Roll, and two fish tacos. Unfortunately, this is where the experience took a disappointing turn. The Dragon Roll, despite its premium price, looked very basic, consisting mostly of rice with very little filling. The quality and presentation reminded me of sushi from a grocery store counter. The Chicken Tequila Cream Pasta was essentially chicken Alfredo with red bell peppers, served with a slice of basic buttered toast. The fish tacos were another letdown. For $16, the plate included only two small tacos with no rice, beans, or side dishes, just the tacos themselves. To make the experience even more unpleasant, there were no complimentary appetizers, such as bread or edamame, to enjoy while waiting for the meal. The food overall was underwhelming and did not justify the prices being charged. The one bright spot was the service, which was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. Overall, Geisha failed to deliver the quality or value its prices suggest. Save yourself the time and money and visit virtually any other restaurant in downtown Brea instead. You'll thank me later.

We recently hosted a very special celebration at Our Neat for a 60th birthday party with approximately 40 guests, and we could not have been happier with the entire experience. From the very beginning, the communication and attention to detail were outstanding, which made planning the event feel easy and stress-free. Before the party, the communication was excellent. Every question was answered promptly and thoroughly, and John Paul was incredibly accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. We always felt that our event was in good hands. Everything that was discussed and promised beforehand was delivered exactly as described, which gave us tremendous confidence going into the celebration. When we arrived, the room and setup were exactly what we had envisioned. Everything was organized, prepared, and ready for our guests. The attention to detail was evident, and it was such a relief to be able to walk in and know that everything had been taken care of. The staff made sure the evening ran smoothly without us having to worry about the little things, allowing us to focus on celebrating with family and friends. The service throughout the event was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely seemed invested in making sure everyone had a wonderful time. With a group of 40 people, keeping everything running smoothly can be a challenge, but everything was handled beautifully. Our guests were well taken care of, and the service was consistently excellent from beginning to end. And, of course, the food was fantastic! Our guests had plenty of positive things to say, and everyone enjoyed the meal. The quality, presentation, and overall dining experience were exactly what we hoped for when choosing a restaurant for such an important milestone celebration. Most importantly, the restaurant helped make a very special birthday memorable. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone planning a special event or celebration. read more

Excellent food and life are what I crave, and when I need to feel better about life I know there is a place to enjoy the most delicious, satisfying creations from the most amazing people I've come in contact with. Ever since I moved back home in '21 after living in Las Vegas for 10yrs I hoped to one day find a place nearby I could get a solid steak and egg breakfast. After working two decades in country club hospitality, I can honestly say I found just that and more!! What started as a breakfast spot I occasionally visited turned into weekly and sometimes bi-weekly visits to enjoy the best food (Breakfast,Lunch,HH,Diner) I have ever had!!!!! After every meal I leave knowing I just enjoyed another great meal filling me with the energy to help others feel a little better in any way possible just like Jon Paul and Sam do every time I eat at their restaurant. If you see a guy dressed as a golfer at the bar it's probably me, and I'll give you my honest review on almost every item on every menu available. I hope when you visit Our Nest you come understanding this food is something special, and if you come at peak time please come respectfully and you will be treated with kindness and honest service from every person making Our Nest a dream come true. read more

This morning my son requested Our Nest in Placentia and we were devastated seeing it had closed. Luckily we read the sign that told us they had moved to Brea. We already have loved the breakfast burritos Popo Toast, Loco Mocos, ect. Now they have a full bar which is an added bonus. They made me a Bloody Maria instead of a Mary at my request. The side green salsa is to die for. The family RUNS this resteraunt. They love their customers. The new space is beautiful and much larger to accommodate their obvious followers. I've seen some negative reviews about cost, let me tell you... The ingredients ate higher quality. The presentation is exquisite. Service is amazing. If you can't see that. Then go to Dennys. They have love built into their food passed down from previous generations. The "no accommodations" sorry but you are wrong. When my husband ordered the Loco Moco months ago, the owner walked out and asked him if he could add something to make even better. IT WAS! Love this resteraunt and the family who owns it. Keep up the great work. If I could only have 1 request, it would be to bring back the frozen lemonade for my son. read more

The absolute worst customer service and manager morning of February 1st, 2026. The menu, ambience and food seemed nice but there are serious issues with management and customer service. I ordered the Loco Moco and it was good but my wife ordered steak and eggs that cost in the $40 range. She ordered the the eggs over hard and it came back with the yolk broken and scrambled in all the eggs. When we asked for the eggs redone (my wife was sensitive to egg whites but she said she was allergic.). The manager says this is the way she does eggs and would not redo the eggs. I guess that might be ok but what really was horrible was that my wife wanted to calmly talk to the manager about the issue and she just was super aggressive and mean and started yelling at her all the way out the door! Essentially kicked her out and created a big scene. This was horrible and never been treated this way. (Saw the owners response... funny that lying and not listening are a part of their customer feedback). I'll leave all comments from both sides as they stand! read more

Located in Brea, this was my first visit, and honestly, it was one of the best breakfast experiences I've had in a long time. I'll definitely be coming back regularly. The restaurant has a bright, casual, and modern atmosphere that feels welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff were all very friendly and attentive. They checked on us several times throughout the meal to make sure everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. The food presentation was excellent, the portions were generous, and everything tasted great. It's clear that they put a lot of care into both the quality and presentation of their dishes. My only minor complaint is that jam is not included with the toast and is charged separately. The charge isn't much, but it felt a little unusual since jam is typically included with breakfast toast at most breakfast restaurants. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and highly recommend this place for breakfast. read more

Went back to try the steak and the 45 oz rib eye is delicious! The cook brought it out for me and cut it up right there. The amount of salt was perfect, and the chimi churi was absolutely wonderful. It was a graduation celebration and it was worth the money! The bartender was willing to make me "mystery" drinks based on my preferences and blew it out of the park each time! I definitely wont be dropping that kind of money all the time, but overall, this place is great. I can come eat a sandwich in the am with a great coffee for a great price. And when you have those celebrations, this is definitely the place to go. The server was extremely friendly and let us sit outside with the e patio door closed so my little one could run around. The music was complimentary to the atmosphere as well. Love this place read more

I recently visited Our Nest in Brea, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with a warm, modern touch that makes you feel right at home. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing service with a smile that made the whole experience even better. It's clear they really care about their customers, and it shows in every detail. As for the food, the Carnitas Breakfast Tacos were absolutely delicious. The carnitas were perfectly seasoned, tender, and crispy in all the right places. Paired with fresh salsa and lime, each bite was packed with flavor and made for the perfect breakfast. If you're in the area, Our Nest is definitely worth checking out for its fantastic food, service, and inviting atmosphere! read more

He always takes a minute to come say hi and actually talk with you, which is a rare quality these days. The servers are all nice and the service is great. If you haven't tried the Nebraskan rib-eye, that's the move! If you're a fan of eggs benedict, it's a must order. It is the best I've had anywhere, not exaggerating. Early bird is one of those special places that feels like it actually cares, and it shows in the food and the people. Highly recommend!

We step we ask a table for two right away the hostess took us to our table and then she hand us the menu and the waitess came ask us what kind of drink we like my wife ask iced tea myself black coffee. We're looking at menu the items were very impressive and breakfast have their own name like Grand Moff Tarkin breakfast sandwich,I couldn't believe they created a breakfast sandwich after a Star Wars character I like they also other name for their items. Then waitress we ask this is our first time at the restaurant we recommend the Benny Sampler it comes with Rancho Benedict, pork belly benedict, traditional come with skillet potatoes. My wife was looking at the Churro waffle but decided to order the Benny Sampler but the waitress told us the churro waffle will on the house because it's our first time at Early Bird. The restaurant have a vibe people will bring their family and having a good breakfast with them or friends this a true family restaurant with country family value restaurant. First they brought the churro waffle wow it looks so good it's a churro or a churro waffle on steroids or a mad creation from incredible chef and his minions and make this delicious items we love it. Then they brought our Benny Sampler meal we're very impressed we enjoy egg Benedict very much with a twist surprise us. I took a bite of tradition egg Benedict very good rich in flavor and savory in each bite I love the flavor then the Rancho Benedict another great Benedict great flavors and try the pork belly benedict this blow my mine the flavor was so intense in pork belly this probably my favorite from the Freeway benedict. The skillet potatoes was so good they use fingerling potatoes very creamy hold it flavor but adding garlic that's another level of flavor that blow our mind. Overall we enjoy the food ar Early Bird the service was incredible good and the staff but two person we thank one who brought the churru waffle and our meal thank you. The other person we thank very much for our service us is our waitress thank you very much.

My favorites are the chicken kebab and Mediterranean salad, but I love their feta fries and rice and hummus too. Service can be a little on the slow side when it's really crowded, but that's kinda expected at a sit down restaurant, right? I love sitting in the little side room because it's decorated soo cute! It has fresh Mediterranean food and the interior is nicely decorated. It is located in a strip mall with a large free parking garage in the back. Very convenient. I ordered their beef and chicken kabob plate with a side of mushrooms and potatoes. The kabobs were tasty but the beef one was quite dry surprisingly. The chicken kabob in fact was quite tasty. The mushrooms and potatoes were cold and over salted. My friend ordered their lamb burger (medium rare) with a side of salad. Unfortunately the burger was well done and didn't taste as good. The side salad portion was good and you can tell it was made fresh. As for the service it was quite interewsting. While we were looking over the menu several different staff memebers asked if we were ready to order. Let me just say that this place was half empty and I can tell they were antzy to our order started. As for the rest of the meal , our waitress took forever to refill our beverages which was diet coke and ice team. Mixed review on service. Overall, I would give this place another chance and order another item to try.

I'm only giving 1 extra star because the two employees that helped me were very kind and professional. We ordered a few things to try out and share: - Chicken po boy sandwich: There was 1 small chicken tender (no flavor at all) in the sandwich. I ordered Cajun fries and was given plain fries. The only thing that partially saved this meal was the remoulade sauce. - Blackened catfish: it was salty and garlicky - not blackened, no Cajun flavor at all. The vegetables and rice tasted like any other Asian restaurant's and nothing tasted fresh. I had a fish/rice/vegetable entree at a Vietnamese restaurant about a week ago. I felt like I was eating leftovers from that place instead! - The garlic cheese bread was soggy and salty. I read a review that it's Asian food disguised as Cajun - I agree!

For a weekday lunch I honestly wished that they would have more business because the quality demands it. Not because it's a Michelin grade but because how happy and satisfied I was after the meal. The eggplant parmesan was perfectly prepared, thickness sliced just right and breaded lightly but still has the little crunch one would want. All on a bed of penne pasta and irresistible marinara sauce. The cheese was just right. It's hard to come by eggplant dishes that aren't overly greasy, oily to maintain their moisture and texture but Alza Osteria have done it! Olive tapenade was so yummy to start with and the sliced baguette, though simple, it's toasted with olive oil and accompanied the artichoke+olive mixture delivered to your mouth on a crispy slice. One thing I wished they had was un-decaffeinated coffee but I'm overlooking it and walking away the fuller person. Also the dessert selection read like mouthwatering dishes I wish I had the stomach for.

We started with a complimentary basket of soft, warm bread followed by an appetizer - olive tapenade ("a blend of marinated artichoke, Spanish, black & kalamata olives, garlic-rubbed crostini"). This was a party for the mouth; the savoriness of each bite was heavenly. For my main dish I ordered cheese ravioli with meat sauce. Initiallly the bowl seemed to have a small serving but in reality I could barely finish it; it filled me up! The ravioli was excellent but what really made it amazing was the deep, delicious flavor of the meat sauce. I imagined some Italian grandma in the kitchen cooking it for days. The prices on the lunch menu are surprisingly fair. More than fair. Which made me love this place even more. Mangia!
