Shrimp and catfish. Mostly fries and only small pieces of catfish and 3 shrimp.

Just average food. Service is super. The bbq is okay but today I had a shrimp and catfish basket for 15 dollars that was mostly fries. 2 tiny pieces of catfish and 3 shrimp and coleslaw. Really disappointing.

It's a big restraunt and nice location In the fountains. There is a rewards program. There under new management there. There is a really nice condiment bar similar to papas barbecue it also have slices of bread on there's. It has a interesting flare of burgers and bbq My experiences was good. We got a kids meal burger With cheese . it was nice tons of lettuce and condiments just like I like it. We divided it. My only regret was getting the broccoli casserole it wasn't bad but it wasn't the best either so I took a half a point off for that and another half a point taken Off for the price of the kids meal which was almost $9 Because I added cheese I felt it was a bit pricy but hey everyone is going up.

This could have easily been 5 starts for me ... I came here for breakfast and for the amount of food and deliciousness, this is by far the best deal you can find in the Downtown Tunnels. First of all, this place is incredibly clean. This could've been because it was only morning and everything and been wiped down and I think I was the first person there, regardless, I ordered the omelette, which comes with the option of three items with your choice of cheese, potatoes, and biscuit. I had them made mine with swiss (they didn't have mozzarella) bacon, tomatoes, and onions, and a side of gravy. The omelette was made with cheddar instead of Swiss and the onions could have been could a little longer, but this meal actually was enough for 2 people. Everything was so delicious and just what my cube mate and I needed to start our day! P.S. the food did not make it in time for a photo

We visit Otto's quite frequently as it's one of the gems of the tunnel system downtown. They have excellent breakfast tacos, which you can customize to your liking, sandwiches, and plates. My favorite thing to order from there is the Ottos's Western salad with all the BBQ meat. I will definitely be back, and recommend that you also give them a try if you find yourself in Pennzoil Place in the tunnels.

Surprisingly good breakfast tacos and other breakfast entrees. Decent BBQ. Great location in Pennzoil Place in the tunnels.

A 2-year Michellin star BBQ joint was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon. My friends and I got there around 10am and were lucky enough to grab a number. The number secures your spot in line but don't worry if you show up and they run out, there's a spot on the porch where the non-number line starts. We ordered moist brisket, garlic sausage, and the beef rib. For sides, we went with mac and cheese and beans. Everything was superb! The brisket melted in your mouth, no knife needed. The sausage had a nice snap to it and get great flavor. The bark on the beef rib was *chef's kiss*. The mac and cheese was creamy while the beans had a nice sweet and tangy flavor. The service is also great! While we were eating, staff would regularly check all of the tables to check if anyone needed anything. The staff taking our order also chatted with us about other BBQ spots we've been to. Everything was such a great experience and the quality of the food is 100/10!

My partner had the brisket sandwich with potato salad and a small helping of pickles and pickled red onions and I had the pulled pork tacos. My partner said the brisket sandwich was okay, but we both agreed that the potato salad was fantastic! The potato salad was way better than the one at Pappas Barbecue. The taste of the pulled pork tacos was great, but it was honestly too wet and made the flour tortillas too soggy and there was way too much coleslaw on top. I feel like if Killen's is going to serve pulled pork tacos there needs to be three things done. 1. Serve the tacos with an option of corn tortillas because I feel corn tortillas would've worked better to give a great contrast/pairing with the sweetness of the pulled pork and sauce. 2. Serve the corn/flour tortillas on the side so that they don't get soggy and wet. 3. There are some things that just don't belong on a taco of any kind and that's coleslaw. My partner and I also tasted the banana pudding and to say it was divine is an understatement. What I really like about this pudding was that you could taste real bananas in this pudding and it had been mixed well all together. Our total was $80 after tipping, which is a little pricey for some of the items, but honestly I would definitely come back to Killen's Barbecue when I was in the mood for barbecue.

I love Texas BBQ so I've been to all the Austin, Dallas, and Houston spots especially on Texas Monthly. Brisket was dry, chicken was brined for a little too long and gave a tire texture. Potato salad was too wet, too fatty, and didn't provide the acidity to contrast the fat. The sausage was decent, I give 4/5 stars. It was thick, juicy, and was similar to other places such as Truth, Corkscrew, Terry Black's, etc. The elotes was also too acidic for my liking and the cheese on top didn't mix well with the dish. Finally, the brisket was just ok. I must've gotten a lean piece because it had the texture of chicken thighs. The bark wasn't flavorful or smoky. Barbecue sauce was what I expected. Worchestchire, ketchup, and brown sugar elements make up for an average BBQ spot. Overall, I would come back and order 10 of the brisket egg rolls and call it a meal.
