I ordered through UberEats. I got the 2 meat dinner comes with two sides. Brisket, smoked chicken, mustard greens and jambalaya rice, served with white bread. The chicken was so tender and sweet but savory. The brisket was good but better with the barbecue sauce. The greens just tasted like onions. I added salt that helped a little. Also wanna note I don't eat just mustard greens alone , they' re usually mixed so that may be the reason why I personally didn't care for them. I saw a flyer for this place at my job and I never thought about it again until yesterday I was craving a filling lunch. Looked it up and it wasn't that far, I was surprised to find it in the parking lot of gas station and the lot was full of cars. I stepped in and the line and staff were friendly and quick with the order. The place was clean and a decent space if you want to dine-in. I got the two meat plate, brisket and turkey with sides of Mac and rice. To be forreal, I came because I remembered they had dirty rice (think they call it jambalaya rice) and if a barbecue spot has dirty rice I'm gonna come try it out. The rice was my favorite part but the Mac was good and the brisket and turkey was hitting to. I'm more into the sides at bbq spots than the meats but this place was good already. Ooooo baby! This is the best BBQ I've had since living in Houston! The bbq sauce is given in the side which is very helpful. It's not overly seasoned and it taste just right! The meat was smoked well and wasn't gummy or anything! You can tell it's fall off the bone. Been here twice now and super impressed! Their specials are a great value and I love their condiment bar! I get their baked potato and a side of fried okra. Their okra is perfect. This bbq restaurant has been opened for about 4 months now in a new building adjoined to an also new Chevron gas station. It shares a wall with the convenience store but is not a part of it so this restaurant is not gas station bbq. Inside its clean and sparkly with large windows looking out front from the medium size dining room.. Smokeroom BBQ is a counter service restaurant that is open 7 days a week. My first visit a couple of weeks ago was to sample their 1/2 chicken plate with my chosen sides of beans and potato salad.with cornbread for $13. The food was ready in about 5 minutes and served on a tray. The chicken was juicy and flavorful especially with the delicious rub they use here. I liked this bird. The beans were savory in its gravy and the scoop of potato salad was cool and mellow in taste. I liked this meal and gave it a 4 also considering its reasonable price. During the meal the chef came out from the kitchen to check on me. My second visit was to try the sliced brisket sandwich ($9) and added their homemade french fries for another $2.75. With a soft drink and tax the meal was $15 and arrived about 5 minutes or so after ordering. I didn't specify if I wanted lean or moist meat and I got both with more lean than moist. The amount of that tender meat pleased me on that medium sized bun along with its very smoky flavor. With their supplied bbq sauce it was a very good tasting sandwich (4). The large bed of homemade fries had skin on them and were hot and tasty. I enjoyed them (4) and always appreciate a restaurant making an effort to make them as opposed to the frozen out of a bag variety. Again during the meal another chef came out to check on the table. The employees here are friendly and appreciate the business. During my second visit I used the bathroom and found it to be clean and in order. Stopped by Smokeroom BBQ with my Dad & a brother-in-law recently on our way to an Astros baseball game at Minute Maid Park & had a great visit. For us, it's all about the flavor profiles of the food & Smokeroom had it right with the meats & sides. I ordered their 2-meat plate with brisket & ribs -- both with that excellent, smoked meat flavor profile, cooked low & slow. Sides for me were whole kernel corn & potato salad. At 1st I had little hope of liking the corn because it looked frozen, but the corn was very good & swimming in a pool of salty melted butter. Potato salad was dry, so I probably wouldn't e order it again. Service is pretty standard -- order at the counter & then pick your own table to eat. Drinks were refillable with help from behind the ordering counter. Ambiance is lacking a bit because Smokeroom is in a gas station in an industrial neighborhood, but that doesn't matter to me as much as the meats. All in all, I like Smokeroom a lot! read more

This little spot is hidden next a gas station. The inside looks fairly new. They do have various options even if ure not into bbq! I got the giant smoked turkey leg and a side of green beans. The green beans were pretty good. The turkey leg was a bit dry on the outside but moist on the inside. You do have to eat it with the sauce though. My bf got the beef ribs dinner and the beef ribs were decent size but they were not exactly falling off the bones.
