This place serves exactly what they stated. Express Indian foods. If you're looking for a quick craving fix for Indian foods, you can count on Orange Curry. Their black pepper chicken which I thought was very similar to Thai curry. It has a sweet, coconut taste. I liked it but wish it had a bit more of a savory, peppery taste. I tried daal for the first time, which was a lentil soup/curry. The consistency is somewhere between soup and curry. It has a nice earthy taste, very hearty. I'm glad I gave it a try. Not sure if it's something that I see myself getting often but worth a try! I also ordered their butter chicken which they had to prepare in the back but it was worth the extra 5-10 mins wait. The consistency of the curry and the taste was quiet delicious. I dipped some of the garlic naan in it and it was heavenly. Also gave the mango lassi a try. It had a nice tart and sweet taste and was already to grab in the fridge. I would get it next time or even try the rose lassi. The only downside is that the foods were quite watery. For the price that you're paying for, it's fair but thought I should share that so you can expect it. Overall, I think it's a solid place for your quick Indian foods craving. Ordered a bunch of food from here for a family takeout meal, all vegetarian items so we had a good sampling of paneer tikka, palak paneer, daal, chana, bhatura, pakoras, naan, etc. Price wise, this place is fantastic deal, probably best pricing in the area. Portion sizes are robust, each 3 item combo is over 2 meals easily. The garlic naan upgrade was worth it, naan portion is large enough (1 large naan cut in half). I would say that the cheese naan is not good at all though, so skip that! Samosas are average, no complaints. Ordering through yelp and picking up was a total breeze even for a large quantity of food, and service was good too- they helped me carry everything out to my car. I have been coming in here for about 4 years, and the last year or so, they raised prices and cut the portion size that they give you of meat or veggies in half for the combo. I used to have leftovers for like a second meal. Now I finished the whole thing and I'm still hungry and my wallet is empty. IF you guys are going to raise your prices, you need to keep the portions the same or increase them, not give people barely anything to eat. Definitely not coming here again. Staff is nice. Oh my! I found this gem in a search when my regular Indian food place was closed for the hour. Serendipity! They had a host of different items to choose from. I went with chicken tikka masala and this vegetable cauliflower dish. Everything was boombastic good, spices are very on point of authentic Indian flavor. I specified I was mainly interested in the chicken tikka masala and he kept pouring big spoons of it on the plate. For me this place was explosive. I still have over half a plate leftover that I'll proceed to eat before the day is over. I'll be back soon. Under $10 with the Naan bread!!! Winning!!!! Update: I have been here many times this month, trying various menu items, and I've got to say this is my favorite Indian restaurant and best discovery of 2021! So I picked this place specifically because it offers the ability to do 2 - 3 item combos and I like tikka masala and korma together. I was also super excited to try the chicken naan. Unfortunately, besides the convenience of online ordering and my food being ready when I arrived, there's not much good I can say. First: I didn't even get the tikka masala, it was a styrofoam tray filled with what I can only describe as korma soup? The coconut sweetness was definitely there but It lacked the nutty flavor and thickness/consistency that makes korma distinct. There was also zero spice. It tasted more like a sweet Thai curry than any Indian dish I have ever eaten. Then there was the chicken naan... I must have missed where the menu mentioned that it was dehydrated chicken that I can only assume was borrowed from NASA and intended for astronauts to eat in space. Literally a chicken powder in some spots. Not sure what was going on there but it did not live up to what I was envisioning. Garlic naan was basic. A little chewy but not bad or overly subpar to other Indian joints. I'll be in the same area for a conference in august and will definitely not drive past two other Indian restaurants to go to this place again. read more

This review is wayyyyyyy overdue. I bookmarked this place when I first saw the "coming soon" sign. Can't believe it took me this long to even try it. And just as long to write a review. This is without a doubt a 5 star little mom/pop place located in a small, sort of ghetto looking plaza. Don't let the outside scare you. Inside is nice and clean. The guy at the counter in his 50s was extremely nice. He kept giving us free samples to try. Everything was soooo good - the eggplant curry was super flavorful. But I knew it was going to be too much food for me so I ended up with tikka masala and chicken curry only. The chicken curry has a little kick. The tikka masala is creamy. I usually favor tikka masala, but I think I actually like the chicken curry a bit more here. The order was $8.99 and comes with regular nan. I think it's an extra 50 cents for garlic nan. Very very affordable. Come out and support your local businesses especially the little mom and pop stores. read more

Place is ok. Price is ok. Foods just not that good. It's not bad but it's not good either. I didn't feel like driving to Fullerton for the best Indian food at curry hut so I settled for this place again. The chicken tikka was just a bunch of cream and chicken I didn't taste the flavor I'm used too. Needs a little salt or something I don't know. The lentils were also under seasoned not much flavor in my opinion. The palok paneer same story. Not much in the flavor department everything tasted pretty bland and one dimensional. We got biriani and they didn't season all the rice there was chunks of white rice that hadn't got the seasoning. Over all it's edible and I wouldn't be mad if someone brought this for free but I wouldn't pay for it myself I'd rather go somewhere else but it was alright not bad read more

I Doordashed Orange Curry over the weekend and here are my thoughts: Chicken Tikka Masala - Flavor is very light, not as creamy as others I have tried in the past and there may have been a heavy hand on the lime juice or some other zesty flavoring because it tasted slightly sour. Huge portion of 16oz for $10.99 and comes with basmati rice which is a good deal compared to other places that can easily be $3-$3.75 more. However- taste of this is 6 out of 10. Has potential, needs to crank up the creamy factor and lower the zesty flavor. Chicken Biryani - This was an absolute disappointment. I literally dig into this maybe 10% before I trashed it. Way too much onion strips. I've never had this much onion strips in a biryani before. Picking it out was annoying but manageable. However- the zesty flavoring is so high like the Masala that it was too sour to eat. Couple that with how wet the rice is I thought I was eating risotto. It was so bad. This gets a zero out of 10 because it was inedible for me. The only reason why this is a 3 stars review and not anything lower is because of the low pricing and generous portion of chicken pieces in both dishes. However- the flavor is not there and generous or not- cannot make up for the fact that I wasted money on something I could not eat. read more

Love the way they make their tandoori chicken. Has onions and peppers and was so tasty. I love the food from this restaurant so much that I drove more than one hour round trip after work to get here and back. This time I met the owner, and he was wonderful and generous. He gave me absolutely huge portions of goat curry and chicken curry. He gave me a recommendation and sample, and an extra portion of naan bread free. Fabulous. This is one of the reasons why this restaurant has a great user rating. Not only is the food fabulous, but the owner knows how to run his business. And since I haven't had goat in a long time decided to give their Goat Curry a try. Both were delicious!! The naan is slathered with garlic, so I won't have to be worrying about vampires tonight. I found this spot on my drive from work and I'm glad I tried it. I have eaten here 3 times. I absolutely love the channa masala, so authentic! My husband has tired the goat curry, chicken curry and chicken Tikka masala and loved it. not all indian spots are good but this place has such flavor in their food with a good spiciness but not over powering. I make my own samosas as most places aren't good, but the ones here I love! I can't say that any of the dishes were bad or lacking flavor as most places do. read more
