This is a review I never thought I'd have to write. I've been coming to Orange Curry regularly for the last couple of years since they first opened, and up until last night, I had never had a bad experience. In fact, I've recommended this place to friends and family and have always enjoyed the food. That's why this review is especially disappointing for me to leave. Last night, I stopped by to grab takeout for my girlfriend and myself. I ordered an Aloo Gobi bowl for her, and for myself, I ordered the chili chicken. Anyone who frequents Orange Curry knows that their chili chicken on Fridays and Saturdays is usually one of the most popular items on the menu. When I arrived, I was told they had run out and needed to make another batch, which would take about 15 minutes. No problem at all--I waited patiently in my car, picked up my order, and headed home. The food tasted fine, and nothing seemed out of the ordinary while I was eating. However, less than an hour later, I started feeling extremely sick. The nausea hit first, followed by sweating, stomach pain, and repeated trips to the bathroom. I couldn't keep anything down for the rest of the night. I became so pale that my girlfriend was genuinely concerned, and I spent hours trying to recover. I didn't start feeling remotely normal again until around 4:30 or 5:00 the next morning. To be clear, I can't say with certainty what caused it, but I can say that this was my experience after eating the meal I purchased that evening. Given how severe the symptoms were and how quickly they came on, I felt it was important to share what happened. It genuinely pains me to leave a one-star review because this has been one of my go-to spots for years. I've had many positive experiences here, which makes this situation even more surprising. My hope is that management takes this feedback seriously and looks into whether there may have been an issue with that particular batch of food. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but I would feel guilty staying silent after an experience like this. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what I went through that night. read more

SUPER YUMMY! Everything was super well-seasoned, I can't even describe how delicious it was. Came on a Wednesday night around 8:30pm and food was still HOT and fresh. We got Black Pepper Chicken, Chicken Curry, and Chicken Tikka Masala. If I had to rank my favorites in order (pretty difficult because they bring something different), I would say: 1. Black Pepper Chicken 2. Chicken Tikka Masala 3. Chicken Curry I didn't expect the Black Pepper Chicken to taste creamy but spicy. Chicken Tikka Masala was pretty standard. I tried the chicken tikka masala, the tandoori chicken, the cauliflower and potato curry, and the mango lassi, all of it tasted great and pretty standard. The parking was a little messy but ultimately a pretty solid lunch spot with quick service. The combo lunch deals were very well priced and they stuffed the container full of the curries. Indian food is something I usually don't crave. But Orange Curry looked good and a quick option because I was hungry at the time. I went around 6:00 pm and found it in a small little plaza with some other businesses nearby. It was a nice little shop that felt cozy and wasn't too busy at that time. After looking at the different options, I decides to get the chicken tikka masala and the garlic naan. The chicken tikka masala was available right away, so I got right to eating it! It had plenty of flavor and there was plenty of chicken in it. The naan was slightly crispy, but easy to tear apart. This was a great option to dip into the chicken tikka masala. The portion of the dishes were very generous; this wasn't something you can finish in one seating. They accept American Express. read more

This spot is a gem I've been passing by this place for months and never came in until today they have the different stews and Curry's on a hot bar ready to eat with white basmati rice and if you like your spice level much higher they will make the food spicier the black pepper chicken was already decently spiced but I wanted it spicier and it was really good the garlic naan pared so well with the sauce the rice soaked up all of the sauces I also ordered a chicken biryani at spice level 8 the rice was so good the smells of the spices were strong but not overpowering and the large pieces of chicken were great also glad I finally decided to come and try it out I will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu read more

SO glad that I live down the street. As others have mentioned, Orange Curry is the place to go for a good meal with a great price. The staff are always so kind and the service is very quick, regardless of whether I am ordering takeout or eating in. I have a soft spot for the eggplant, the chicken korma, and the chicken tikka masala. The eggplant is quite heavy on the ginger, which is what made me gravitate towards it in the first place, and never fails to make me feel warm. The chicken korma is creamy and light, and the meat is tender. I wanted to note that I ordered the vegetable korma once and it was pretty flavorless and thin, very different from the chicken korma. The chicken tikka masala has a decent bit of sweetness and creaminess. I can't remember a time when the meat was too dry. This place is fire. The portions are insanely generous, and the food itself is hot (temperature-wise) and packed with flavor. I've never tried chilli chicken before coming here, but it was def the star of my plate. It kinda reminded me of Chinese food with the veggies and seasoning, and it had a kick. As for the black pepper chicken, this was so creamy and comforting. It's also nice that for the 2-item and 3-item combos, they don't charge extra if you want all protein (usually places limit you to one protein and one veggie, etc.). My only criticism is that the garlic naan had some parts that were kinda firm/hard, and it was overall too chewy. I think this was because it was left in the foil to steam, and I brought the food home to eat, so this might've changed the naan's texture. Either that or it was an older piece of naan. A small and fast casual Indian restaurant....and like it says on the sign...."Express Indian Food".....although there are a few tables to enjoy your lunch, it seems most people who come here do so for takeout. My only complaint would be that the parking lot is very small and you may find yourself waiting for a spot to open up, unless you're working nearby and can just walk over. I ordered some of my favorite Indian dishes like, the chicken tikka masala, pala paneer (puréed spinach with Indian cheese cubes), and aloo gobhi (a vegetarian dish made with potatoes (aloo), cauliflower (gobhi), and Indian spices)....each order comes with an order of fresh out of the oven naan bread.....plain or garlic.....I ordered garlic. Ok, yup, everything was served hot and fresh, prefectly prepared, and incredibly yummy...and that naan....went great with the various curries. Very good quality yummy Indian food here! Several items had a watery consistency, including the butter chicken and the yogurt. The garlic naan also lacked flavor. Overall, the food was very underwhelming. Service: This was the most frustrating part. My boyfriend and I waited in line like everyone else, but when the cashier stepped away after partially taking our order, she returned and began taking another customers order who had cut ahead of us. So full. So delicious. A small spot in an old-school looking strip mall, their big thing seems to be their cafeteria-style combos. Everything looked really tasty. The 3 item combo at $13.99 (as of February 2024) is well worth it. I tried: Palak Paneer: spicy but not hot, there were a lot of flavors dancing around in the greens. The guy behind the counter couldn't find any cheese in the pan so they went in the back and dropped some fresh cubes of paneer in there. Chana Masala: chickpeas stewed in a brothy onion-y gravy, it was another flavor bomb. While a little soupier than other chana masalas I've tried in the past, this had a little heat and was amazing when soaked up by the rice or naan. Chicken Tikka Masala: rich, creamy, and slightly sweet. It was really tasty. Sprinkle some of the chili powder that's on the tables on top of it and you're golden. I've been here several times and there food never disappoints! If I need a clean protein fix I normally get the curry chicken or the lentils with rice and garlic naan! They have really good portions sizes and have vegetarian and no dairy options as well! The food is also very reasonably priced!
