I was pleasantly surprised to work with Ranalda who made sure by calling me when the pkg arrived to the facility to pick it up. Well after stoping by a facility to show them my dented product. The operation manager says to call in to file a compliant, as it's the ONLY way. Then the guy over the phone says I'll get a call within 3 days to tell me what happens. No call, no knows, no one but me watching this guy once again in my area tossing. I remember the OnTrac operation manager guy saying if you don't want the guy to deliver the package and you are worried about your package, that I can request to have it dropped at an OnTrac facility for pick up. WTF... instead of making sure my things are safely delivered. He recommends me to pick up and deliver my own package to my own house. And for the guy who commented on my review, and says that this isn't acceptable. And that I should "personal message" him... how so.. why don't you message me.. these guys are a joke, act like you care. But don't get it done., there's gotta be a way to cancel this company out. Worst logistics company to work with. Numerous times I have had scheduled deliveries from this company, and the drives always decide not to look at the special shipping notes. I have purchased items from different online merchants that use OnTrac (REI, Amazon, etc) as a shipping partner and have noticed that if you are having your packages being delivered to a secure apartment complex, the drivers do not even bother to try an use a doorbell or callbox to enter the building. Resulting in a "attempted" delivery. From these prior experiences, I had decided to contact them directly before my scheduled delivery date to provide specific shipping instructions and use my complex's call box to find my name and use it to call my apartment to let them in. With no surprise, while I was at home waiting, I never got a call on my callbox or cell to notify that they are tying to deliver my shipment. Only a shipping notification that the delivery was "attempted". Long story short, cheap shipping company means you get what you pay for. Ignorant drivers and horrible customer service. read more

I wouldn't even mind if the package was going to be late but DON'T mark it as DELIVERED and SIGNED when it wasn't! I thought my package was stolen right after it was dropped off but people were home and no one saw or heard the delivery truck. It has been 3 days later and the package finally arrived. Now I just saw my newest purchase from Amazon is going to be delivered by OnTrac again. Oh God... I really hope it is delivered on time but I'm not hopeful. Amazon... Please stop using this service! Use OnTrac if you want your packages thrown out of the truck, dropped on the way to the door, thrown at your door and then your car backed into violently before they take off (hit and run). I had two orders shipped with this company and they arrived on different days. I was nervous due to the many bad reviews and people saying they lost their package or it was stolen by the workers, but after some delays, my packages still arrived. I was also concerned after hearing that there are cases where they throw the packages at the doorstep but in my case, the delivery person placed them safely behind my gate each time. I would have deducted a star for the significant delays, but it's understandable due to the circumstances we are in and also with it being the holidays. read more

I was supposed to receive my package on 11/3. It has been sitting in the local sort facility since 11/6. I have made several inquiries and still no human contact, or update to the progress. The other piece of the product, which shipped from the same vendor, at the same time, arrived. This was a move from LA to San Jose, so not exactly a major feat of logistics. Today is 11/13, and still no shipment. I am beyond exasperated with the lack of human triage, systems limitations, and a terrible customer experience. By far the worst delivery service I've ever dealt with. I've had several bad experiences with Ontrac, currently one of my packages was sent back to sender as undeliverable, after I updated the address with the corporate office. My second package is being held at the corporate office as also undeliverable, again I updated the address with the corporate office, they assured me it will be delivered tomorrow, I have absolutely no faith that will happen. Last Christmas, Ontrac was the delivery company for several of my Christmas gifts, after calling regarding my packages, I drove 30 miles to pick up my packages. I was shown into the warehouse where it was full of packages to be sent to my town (Watsonville, CA.) They said there were too many packages to find mine and that they were short on drivers. Bad customer service Called in 1 first time and waited for 30 mins, 2nd time waited for another 30mins then finally someone picked up and said " how can I help you" then they hung up on me !!!!!! called in the 3rd time and wasted another 30mins and a guy told me the packages were still inside the facility and I asked for go pickup then he said if I need to go pickup then he needs to reschedule for pick up!!! WTH??! somehow he asked me if the company open over the weekend which is tomorrow ( Saturday), I told him, then he said he will do a special request and will deliver it to the company as long we open. OnTrac delivery service is unreliable and not to be trusted. If you purchase from a merchant that uses this carrier, require a signature. We have have had packages on 2 separate occasions within a 3 week time frame that OnTrac said was delivered but never made it to our address. We have a Nest camera and there was no deliveries when OnTrac said they delivered. We are dealing with 2 separate disputes with our financial institution because of this companies unreliability! read more

I have to say that I'm really happy with the delivery service I'm receiving. They have never been late. All the packages I order from Amazon and shipped via OnTrac are deliver on time and usually before noon. I hate when Amazon ships with UPS because with them I always have problems even as of now I'm still waiting for my package shipped via UPS and it's already 9:00pm. Stuff gets sent back! Ontrac is now consistently claiming bad weather and sending my kids' Christmas presents back. The weather has been perfect. My guess is the driver can't find the house (though he delivers to my neighbors across the street) and is too lazy to figure it out. UPS and Fedex deliver every time. I am utterly frustrated with OnTrac. Since I can't control how my orders are shipped (one from Target and one from OnDemand Canvas), it's really maddening when tracking shows that they are delivered on time but I have never received them. Tracking for both shows that they were left at the front door. I have no problem receiving from USPS or UPS or FedEx but OnTrac NEVER seems to get it right. just don't understand. i'm even more frustrated since I paid for expedited shipping for these. Nope not to my house I was home with annoying barking dogs and no one approached my door (they would have barked . I called them 3 times already, and according to OnTracs costumer service the first time the driver forgot to scan the package and that is why I didn't get any more updates. How does a driver forget to scan a package, when that's part of his daily routine? Either they're really irresponsible or they do it on purpose to get away with stealing items. Three weeks ago they said they had delivered my package from Zuiliy but not true I never received it. I sent them an email per their web site link "contact us" regarding this they never responded to my email. This week their web site showed delivered on 09/25/18 which is impossible since the site that I ordered on showed shipped on 10/02/18. And their tracking number was old and incorrect. I would strongly discourage using OnTrac. My packages are either lost or left at the wrong address. Once my package was thrown over the fence of my neighbor's yard. Fortunately for me, my neighbor was kind enough to bring it to me after she found it in her yard. Currently, my package is over 5 days late being delivered. I have called but I haven't had any luck in getting service. I have even told OnTrac to have the delivery person call me if they're lost. I will be happy to meet them. A joke, a garbage delivery company. 3 failed attempts, the guy probably went to my door only once. Day 1, waiting the whole day for a delivery, no-one knocking at the door, no delivery tag on the door, all I can see is a failed delivery attempt with the tracking number online. Day 2, failed delivery attempt with a tag on the door, when I was home the whole day, no-one knocking the front door. Day 3, I put the tag with signature on my door on the night before, for safety. Then again online I get failed delivery attempt, I was home the whole day, the door tag is still hanging at my door. The delivery guy was probably drinking beer at home the whole day pretending doing any delivery. I have received two shipments so far this year sent through OnTrac. The first, from Amazon was thrown in the grass on my front lawn, and the second was a box of food from Blue Apron. This is the WORST company for on time delivery and customer service! Prime packages from Amazon sit in warehouses and no attempts are made to deliver packages for days! If you want to follow up with OnTrac about problems with delivery be prepared to wait at least 20 min. on hold to talk to someone. Unfortunately, Green Chef food delivery also uses this company to deliver their boxes and last week my package made it to San Jose at 1am on the day it was to be delivered to my house. My dinners for the week sat in the warehouse all day without any attempt to deliver. The next day when I followed up with OnTrac at 9am as to why my package was not delivered they told me it would go out that day. 30 min later the online tracking stated that my package arrived in San Jose again, this time damaged, and would be destroyed. Like others have noted, the local facility that delivers in the South Bay are not delivering packages. I guarantee the driver is stealing and reselling. This is the second order (Home Depot, Walmart) that has been "delivered" in two weeks that never reaches my door. One scanned at 8:30 pm, another at 9:30 pm. Neither delivered. I was driving at the freeway 680 going 101 when this driver suddenly cut me without turning his signal light on and i almost hit it. I was pissed because my baby was at the back seat.
