Well after stoping by a facility to show them my dented product. The operation manager says to call in to file a compliant, as it's the ONLY way. Then the guy over the phone says I'll get a call within 3 days to tell me what happens. No call, no knows, no one but me watching this guy once again in my area tossing. I remember the OnTrac operation manager guy saying if you don't want the guy to deliver the package and you are worried about your package, that I can request to have it dropped at an OnTrac facility for pick up. WTF... instead of making sure my things are safely delivered. He recommends me to pick up and deliver my own package to my own house. And for the guy who commented on my review, and says that this isn't acceptable. And that I should "personal message" him... how so.. why don't you message me.. these guys are a joke, act like you care. But don't get it done., there's gotta be a way to cancel this company out. No retail company should ever use them for their customers. read more

Worst logistics company to work with. Numerous times I have had scheduled deliveries from this company, and the drives always decide not to look at the special shipping notes. I have purchased items from different online merchants that use OnTrac (REI, Amazon, etc) as a shipping partner and have noticed that if you are having your packages being delivered to a secure apartment complex, the drivers do not even bother to try an use a doorbell or callbox to enter the building. Resulting in a "attempted" delivery. From these prior experiences, I had decided to contact them directly before my scheduled delivery date to provide specific shipping instructions and use my complex's call box to find my name and use it to call my apartment to let them in. With no surprise, while I was at home waiting, I never got a call on my callbox or cell to notify that they are tying to deliver my shipment. Only a shipping notification that the delivery was "attempted". Long story short, cheap shipping company means you get what you pay for. Ignorant drivers and horrible customer service. read more

I've come to the conclusion that you shouldn't trust online review sites as all people that had a negative experience will undoubtedly show their displeasure but the truth isn't the same the other way. I should know this as a business owner and I let everyone else's experience on here form an opinion that just wasn't true. I had a package being delivered to an address I omitted the apartment number of. I didn't worry because North Face, where I made the purchase online, usually uses UPS or FedEx so I though, "easy, I'll just request delivery on a different day or request a change of address". That wasn't the case for OnTrac. So I go to their website to try to get more information on this and income across all of these reviews which makes me worry for my $500 package. These reviews convinced me that package was as goo as lost. Turns out it wasn't. On the same day the package was supposed to be delivered I was able to reach a customer service rep and had him cancel the delivery and told me to contact North Face about requesting a change of address as that was the only channel possible to do so. I presume they heard from North Face that same morning I sent the request and they were able to deliver it the same day it was originally supposed to get delivered which out a hitch. I'm not saying these negative reviews are not real people's experience with OnTrac but they probably represent only a small percentage of all experiences. No one is rushing to post a review when they have a good experience with OnTrac. Which is what propelled me post my positive experience. Thank you OnTrac and everyone working on the background!!!! Not everything is as easy as people think it is. So happy I didn't lose my package like most of these people had led me to believe that I would. read more

I wouldn't even mind if the package was going to be late but DON'T mark it as DELIVERED and SIGNED when it wasn't! I thought my package was stolen right after it was dropped off but people were home and no one saw or heard the delivery truck. It has been 3 days later and the package finally arrived. Now I just saw my newest purchase from Amazon is going to be delivered by OnTrac again. Oh God... I really hope it is delivered on time but I'm not hopeful. Amazon... Please stop using this service! I love your 2 day shipping and same day shipping. When you use ontrac, they're always late. On their computer they lie and say it's delivered on time but we don't get the product until a few days or even a week later. read more

Worst delivery company EVER! Their tracking numbers will state 'out for delivery' and they don't show up with your package for days! How can this company stay in business? I have had numerous problems with OnTrac....this latest one made me so upset! How can Amazon use this as their shipping company?! Especially when you order a product as a gift that says it will be delivered by a certain date? Then OnTrac screws everything up?!!! Grrrrrr!! Makes me Want to delete my Amazon account! read more

Use OnTrac if you want your packages thrown out of the truck, dropped on the way to the door, thrown at your door and then your car backed into violently before they take off (hit and run). Have the whole thing caught on our camera. Absolutely terrible. Based off the other reviews, I doubt they'll even do anything about this if I report it to the company. Fun times. read more

I was supposed to receive my package on 11/3. It has been sitting in the local sort facility since 11/6. I have made several inquiries and still no human contact, or update to the progress. The other piece of the product, which shipped from the same vendor, at the same time, arrived. This was a move from LA to San Jose, so not exactly a major feat of logistics. Today is 11/13, and still no shipment. I am beyond exasperated with the lack of human triage, systems limitations, and a terrible customer experience. I would give less than 1 out of 5 stars if possible. If you have a choice, never use this service. Ever. read more

I had two orders shipped with this company and they arrived on different days. I was nervous due to the many bad reviews and people saying they lost their package or it was stolen by the workers, but after some delays, my packages still arrived. I was also concerned after hearing that there are cases where they throw the packages at the doorstep but in my case, the delivery person placed them safely behind my gate each time. I would have deducted a star for the significant delays, but it's understandable due to the circumstances we are in and also with it being the holidays. read more

By far the worst delivery service I've ever dealt with. I've had several bad experiences with Ontrac, currently one of my packages was sent back to sender as undeliverable, after I updated the address with the corporate office. My second package is being held at the corporate office as also undeliverable, again I updated the address with the corporate office, they assured me it will be delivered tomorrow, I have absolutely no faith that will happen. Last Christmas, Ontrac was the delivery company for several of my Christmas gifts, after calling regarding my packages, I drove 30 miles to pick up my packages. I was shown into the warehouse where it was full of packages to be sent to my town (Watsonville, CA.) They said there were too many packages to find mine and that they were short on drivers. I don't understand why anybody would use Ontrac. Horrible. read more

Bad customer service Called in 1 first time and waited for 30 mins, 2nd time waited for another 30mins then finally someone picked up and said " how can I help you" then they hung up on me !!!!!! called in the 3rd time and wasted another 30mins and a guy told me the packages were still inside the facility and I asked for go pickup then he said if I need to go pickup then he needs to reschedule for pick up!!! WTH??! somehow he asked me if the company open over the weekend which is tomorrow ( Saturday), I told him, then he said he will do a special request and will deliver it to the company as long we open. And I just checked the status and the delivery date stated to Monday. I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!! called in for 40mins and no one answered!!!! I never have any experience like this !!!!! read more

This delivery company is the worst. I hate the fact that Amazon is utilizing them. I made sure to have Amazon put them at the bottom of the list for delivering packages to me. They take FOREVER and don't deliver on time. PS: avoid them at any cost! read more

Update: I had provided a less than positive review in early December, but I wanted to share that I was immediately contacted by two company reps who expressed their commitment to customer service. I had a very pleasant conversation with Ranalda who is one of the managers at the facility. read more

So an update to this order: a manager called to me tell me the delivery man was arrested for stealing packages. He told me he'd get back to me but never got back to me. I called the company I ordered the package from and they said they weren't responsible. I've cut my losses. Will never use this company read more

I have to say that I'm really happy with the delivery service I'm receiving. They have never been late. All the packages I order from Amazon and shipped via OnTrac are deliver on time and usually before noon. I hate when Amazon ships with UPS because with them I always have problems even as of now I'm still waiting for my package shipped via UPS and it's already 9:00pm. Thank you OnTrac for great job! read more

Stuff gets sent back! Ontrac is now consistently claiming bad weather and sending my kids' Christmas presents back. The weather has been perfect. My guess is the driver can't find the house (though he delivers to my neighbors across the street) and is too lazy to figure it out. UPS and Fedex deliver every time. I wish Amazon would stop using Ontrac. I am rating everything I buy on Amazon that gets sent with Ontrac as 1 star in the hope of getting Amazon's attention. Hello Ontrac - if you read this call me at 831four21287seven and maybe we can help your driver do his job. read more

Beware, they are not reliable! This is the worst delivery company - I don't know how they can stay in business! They have either delivery to wrong address, retired by a neighbor or not delivered at all!! read more

I am utterly frustrated with OnTrac. Since I can't control how my orders are shipped (one from Target and one from OnDemand Canvas), it's really maddening when tracking shows that they are delivered on time but I have never received them. Tracking for both shows that they were left at the front door. I have no problem receiving from USPS or UPS or FedEx but OnTrac NEVER seems to get it right. just don't understand. i'm even more frustrated since I paid for expedited shipping for these. This business needs to close or get their act together! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. An order from Walmart.com was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday. OnTrac marked delivered to front door. Nope not to my house I was home with annoying barking dogs and no one approached my door (they would have barked . Spoke 3 times with Ontrac trying to find out where it was delivered to, no help only advised to contact Walmart regarding my order. Walmart reshipped and ontrac marked delivered today at 11am. Nope nothing from Ontrac. My package from USPS was sitting on my mailbox but nothing from Ontrac. Worst shipping company I've ever delt with. read more

OnTrac delivery service is unreliable and not to be trusted. If you purchase from a merchant that uses this carrier, require a signature. We have have had packages on 2 separate occasions within a 3 week time frame that OnTrac said was delivered but never made it to our address. We have a Nest camera and there was no deliveries when OnTrac said they delivered. We are dealing with 2 separate disputes with our financial institution because of this companies unreliability! read more

This place is full of BS. If I could give them 0 stars I would. How is it possible that my package was out for delivery 3 days ago and it still hasn't arrived? I called them 3 times already, and according to OnTracs costumer service the first time the driver forgot to scan the package and that is why I didn't get any more updates. How does a driver forget to scan a package, when that's part of his daily routine? Either they're really irresponsible or they do it on purpose to get away with stealing items. Now they're telling me they can't find my package at the warehouse? Sounds real fishy to me. Never had this issue with UPS, USPS or FedEx. Never ordering anything from Google Express/BestBuy again if this is the shipping company they work with. read more

OnTrac - Shipping Centers Near Me - Milpitas, California

Three weeks ago they said they had delivered my package from Zuiliy but not true I never received it. I sent them an email per their web site link "contact us" regarding this they never responded to my email. This week their web site showed delivered on 09/25/18 which is impossible since the site that I ordered on showed shipped on 10/02/18. And their tracking number was old and incorrect. Still waiting to see if they lose my latest orders. Update: Vendor credit me on the items that showed delivered three weeks ago. The items that showed received on 09/25/18 were delivered today. They also sent me an email after my poor review so I am now a happy and have changed my review to 5 stars read more

I would strongly discourage using OnTrac. My packages are either lost or left at the wrong address. Once my package was thrown over the fence of my neighbor's yard. Fortunately for me, my neighbor was kind enough to bring it to me after she found it in her yard. Currently, my package is over 5 days late being delivered. I have called but I haven't had any luck in getting service. I have even told OnTrac to have the delivery person call me if they're lost. I will be happy to meet them. Instead my package doesn't get scheduled for delivery. Poor poor service. I don't have any problems with UPS or FedEx. Beware of using OnTrac. read more

At this point, I am convinced that Ontrac delivery drivers are stealing the packages and say that they delivered them. Every single item that I order that uses ONTRAC goes missing. Always shows delivered and not true. OnTRAC management, please look into your Los Altos Hills delivery. read more

Worst delivery service as they set status to delivered without ever delivering it!! No accountability at all and are only concerned with having the status set to Delivered within promised time. It's "On time for less" only for the status update but u never get the package!! read more

A joke, a garbage delivery company. 3 failed attempts, the guy probably went to my door only once. Day 1, waiting the whole day for a delivery, no-one knocking at the door, no delivery tag on the door, all I can see is a failed delivery attempt with the tracking number online. Day 2, failed delivery attempt with a tag on the door, when I was home the whole day, no-one knocking the front door. Day 3, I put the tag with signature on my door on the night before, for safety. Then again online I get failed delivery attempt, I was home the whole day, the door tag is still hanging at my door. The delivery guy was probably drinking beer at home the whole day pretending doing any delivery. I will cancel my Best Buy order and stop ordering from them until they stop doing business with that joke company. read more

The worst service. Lost my package and are zero help with zero urgency to try to locate.

Constantly leaves packages out in front of my garage ( or my neighbors) in a condo complex with a where all garages are centered in a very public common area circle. Think parking lot. Despite complaints and my records with OnTrac that state where to leave package. Has happened for months, couple of sample pics.. (garage doors were replaced, so different look) Dec 2019 update: year, and more, still at it! I'm stopped using companies as soon m, as I discover they use on trac. Try calling company, get recording and it hangs up! read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Every single time I have a package shipped via OnTrac, the package will be marked as delivered in locker but I never receive it, nor does the apartment office. read more

I have received two shipments so far this year sent through OnTrac. The first, from Amazon was thrown in the grass on my front lawn, and the second was a box of food from Blue Apron. That one was thrown over an unlocked gate and landed on a corner. I would never use them for my business because they have created so much ill will in me for the businesses that do. I can only assume that a business that uses OnTrac really doesn't care about my customer experience. read more

They delayed my package for a week and then lost the package and refused to admit the package was lost!!!

Sam's club used them to send my order. It was delivered to the parcel locker on my property. The moron driver assigned it to the wrong resident. It was removed from the locker. I know this because I contacted the locker management company, gave them my info, and let me know. read more

If you're trying to contact this office by phone, their extension is 4200. Their delivery workers are pretty bad, as these reviews illustrate, and I had to ask Amazon customer service for that extension (OnTrac doesn't want you to call them, apparently), but the woman on the phone helped get my gate code to the driver and was courteous and pleasant. Hopefully my packages are delivered on time from now on. edit: One month later I had more shipping issues with OnTrac. I waited all day for a package delivery, and happened to check the tracking info. They claimed to have delivered the package 90 minutes earlier with the signature "FD." No one came to my door and there sure as **** ain't no "FD" living here. I called Amazon and asked them what was up. Amazon called OnTrac and gave them a day to figure it out. Within ten minutes OnTrac was on my doorstep with my package, without even an apology. I know things happen, but overall it was a really sketchy experience. read more

Ordered a bunch of stuff. Delivery was guaranteed before or at 10:30am. Waited for the package as it's urgent (thus, the overnight), and at 10:29am, the tracking status was marked as " NOT HOME ON DELIVERY ATTEMPT" I have a dog that didn't bark. I have a security camera recording everything that move infront of our house, and our garage door is wide open for the delivery. I would be happier, if they said it was 'delayed' rather than lying to their customer so they don't have to worry about their money back service guarantees. Call support and it say, "There are 115 callers ahead of you". Oh great. I simply left the phone on and two hours later... still 80 callers. Maybe those callers dropped... felt like no one is handling customer support. Four packages; all marked as Not Home exactly a minute before service guarantees time. This isn't the first time.. hopefully, I will learn to pay more attention when I purchase something online and uncheck OnTrac as the carrier. We spend tens of thousands on Amazon per year for our business purchases, and we finally got amazon to blacklist OnTrac for us; very unreliable when you need something delivered "On-Time". read more

Where do I start! Well this is the worst shipping company you can ever use! The employees are a joke! 1. They were supposed to deliver a package from Amazon. When I got the notification that the package had been delivered to the mail room and signed and accepted for by Joe Schmoe, I was pissed. I walked over to the office where the package may have been delivered and they didn't have it. Oh and by the way, our office doesn't pull immature stunts like that. I called Amazon and they refunded the purchase. 2. Amazon may be saving money by using you folks, but their losing customers...which one hurts more? read more

Shady business. Never had a problem with them until yesterday. No package delivered as stated. Lies. After reading the reviews I expect to either never see that package or it showing up in a few days, on Ontrac time apparently. Thinking your packages are stolen can just send one panicking. Hope they go out of business. This shouldn't be a pain in the @$$ !!! ---------- Update 12/9/15: Ha! Package "delivered" today on porch, no doorbell, no knock. Was home as well. They definitely on "Ontrac time". ---------- Update 12/22/15: They sent me 2 emails within the past few days about the incident noting, they could not locate it. Ridiculous, they can't even respond to emails on time!! read more

OnTrac lost a very important package for our company. OnTrac's driver that services our address does NOT come everyday (even though we pay for everyday pickup service). There is some concern that all of our packages have been opened with contents removed prior to their delivery (by OnTrac personnel). Any business should be fearful to entrust packages to this "company." The customer service (in person with driver & worse, over the phone) is the worst part of the experience. read more

Liars!!!!!! They made false delivery attempt. I know this since I was sitting at my front door whole day, and failed to see anybody showed up. But the status said a delivery was attempted. They also claimed they had left a notice but nothing was there. Their customer service was also horrible. Liars and Liars!!!!!! read more

I've never really liked OnTrac, but to ensure my feelings of dislike for them they have managed to mess up two deliveries in two weeks for items I've purchased on Amazon. To be honest I'm kind of ticked that Amazon keeps using them as a delivery provider. It's so frustrating!!! From now on if I see OnTrac is the delivery company I will just cancel my order. Better off walking into a store and paying more for an item then dealing with the hassle of OnTrac's screw ups! read more

I love ordering from Amazon... I hate that I never know when Ontrac will be used instead of FedEx. Sometimes...they deliver the overnight stuff...sometimes...the 2 day stuff. I just never know...so now, I never buy anything that could break from Amazon since I run the risk of Ontrac delivering it. Why you ask?? Because...in San Jose...I had this big gate going into the backyard and a front porch. Most deliveries (UPS/FedEx) were left on the front porch with no issues. Most of the time I was home but they always leave SO FAST after knocking...I never made it on time to see the actual delivery person. Ontrac..... takes the idea to the next level and would THROW the package over the gate. I have SEEN this happen (master bedroom window faces the driveway where the gate was) .... seriously... bought a hard drive... it was dropped over the gate. Not left out front .... over ...the ...gate. I returned it to Amazon and said the reason was because it was dropped by the shipper. I did a full refund because what is the point of ordering it again if the same will happen again. Now....once... on a Saturday delivery...Ontrac (the only woman I have seen deliver in my area) left the package out front and she smiled and waved as well. So....I dunno... I wont order anything that can break because of them but I am happy to know that there was at least one rockin employee there who understood that dropping a package over the gate was NOT a good idea. read more
