The online order I placed was accidently sent to my closed mailbox at this store. I went to pick it up. They lied to me that it was refused and returned to UPS driver, even though it showed was signed by them. Then 2 hours later they called me saying the package was still with them and I have to pay $20 to them to pick it up. It's basically blackmailing. I refused to pay and they hang up. I called several times and they never answered. It's basically either package-thief or blackmailing. I'm pissed off. read more

DO NOT GO THERE !!! They only want your money, they practice extremely expensive prices. While they are very nice people to talk to, it's hard to say no. I am really pissed of what happened. I went to send two sheets of paper in a letter, I asked for regular mailing, not a priority letter. They told me 15$ for mailing the letter or 20$ if I wanted a tracked number on it with USPS. Seriously are you kidding me ??!! It cost literally 0.55$ to send a letter in California.... Those people are just thieves. I am extremely angry, never come back!! read more

This guy always tries to hustle (you). Hustling is all right but dishonesty is not. He once charged me double his own asking rate for notarizing a document. For those who don't know, you pay a notary per document not per signature. I, luckily, had only 2 signatures in a single document. After getting notarized he asked me that would be 30 bucks. Then he tried to hustle me into paying for shipping that document through USPS at 3 times what USPS would. I had no choice after getting notarized but I had choice for shipping so I walked away and shipped through USPS at literally 1/3rd the cost. Not visiting here again! read more

I paid $27 for a next day 10:30 am local CA delivery of a very important document that until the end of next day was no where to be found. Would have been better if I had just put a forever stamp and let it reach by Monday for 45cents. I went to there for doing a copy. The staff (Kevin) was very friendly. His office has black and write copy today only. He was very patiently to help me check if the 3rd party accepts a black and write copy. After he knew I worried about black and write copy, he pointed me to FedEx office at a close by location. He offered to call the office to make sure their color copier work before I went to there and helped to put their store address in google map in my cell phone. He even left his phone number to tell me to call back in case I could not find that place. I saw another customer reviewed at 2019 to say the store charged $2 for a black and write single slide copy, this was not the case for me. Now, everyone seems to be in hurry and does not have patience to help. However, I feel Kevin is so nice and appears to like to provide a help when he can. read more

Service is pretty terrible. On behalf of my company, I check our PO Box quite often. We weren't notified of our annual renewal fee until a few days after the deadline. The people we complained to were pretty mean about it. Meh. read more

I used to work at a similar place and know that ups gives a commission to shops per package that is picked up from the store. Not here. You have to pay them 1 dollar per pre paid ups package. Don't buy stamps here they upcharge a lot. Think about going priority flat rate and it shouldn't cost more than 8 bucks. The ups prices are also outrageous and raised by approx 30%. Do it all online. The guy who works here seems like a nice guy but they want to charge more than double what Fed Ex would charge to send your package. The man behind the counter: -made me wait for daysss (ok, not literally) without any apology or explanation -allowed another customer to swiftly cut in front of me -tried to charge me $16 to ship a 0.925 pound package via UPS ground I hate to be one of those people who unfairly rants and raves about how horrible a place is, but come on! I ship packages all the time (I'm a frequent eBay-er) and have never had to spend over $10 for packages under 1 pound. I even took the liberty of checking the UPS site once I returned home, and to ship a package from Milpitas to the residence I had listed should only have costed $8.93. I hate getting ripped off! I came here because I needed passport photos taken. Came in around 4:30pm on a Monday and was helped immediately. There seemed to be 2 associates working that day. After they take your photo, they will ask you to look at it in case you want to take it again. I waited less than 5 minutes and received 2 copies for $10. I was in n out in about 6-7 minutes, and the photo was acceptable when I turned in my passport application. The place has some self-help books and cards for sale to browse through while you're waiting for your pictures. The place also offers packing supplies and PO boxes as it is a mail stop. read more

I have always had a good report with the owners here at the Postal Shop. I have used their fingerprinting and notary for years throughout several different jobs and certification programs. I have utilized their shipping services on more than one occasion and have always been treated well and never had a lost late or damaged package. I will continually use them even with their dollar charge to drop off packages. It's a small price to pay for the convenience and peace of mind to know that my packages will be well taken care of. That is why I think the few one-star reviews are from grumpy penny-pinching people who don't ever want to be charged for any services rendered. read more

Bought 10 bubble mailers and was told they were $2 each. Before checking out I saw the staff member using a sharpie to scribble out the price stickers. When I checked my receipt he actually charged me $3 each and I guess he missed one when scribbling out the prices because it was clearly marked as 75 cents!! Good place to go if your in need for passport photos for only 10 dollars. Probably took less then 10 minutes to take the photo and receive the prints. I've seen other places such as the post office and walgreens/cvs charge more. They also have mail boxes to rent, shipping supplies, and postal services such as UPS and fedex. read more

Went there for notary service on legal form. Signed form using my full signature which I have been using for all my life (and which is on my Driver's License, too). He refused to notarize stating that my signature didn't have each letter of my name. WTF?! Most signatures are no more than scribbles; mine at least shows my name legibly. Left that place and got it notarized elsewhere. Bloody senile fool! read more

The boss here is nice and helpful. I like that they're open until 6 because I get out of work at 5 and can stop by here to mail stuff for my workplace. Just ask him for stuff that you need that is not shown in the store. He has double sided tape, regular tape, and 2 cents stamps. You can also drop off your mail here. I was trying to mail some priority packages and he helped me taped it up since the glue was already coming off. Nice guy. read more
