Update on my review: The owner was very receptive to my review and fully refunded the charges. He also offered for me to have the fingerprinting redone, however I kindly decline as I am running out of time and have decided to fly to the state of my license board and do direct fingerprinting there to save time on processing/mailing. For anyone curious, I also received feedback after my original review from the licensing board that the fingerprints were rejected by the FBI due to "quality of characteristics are too low to be used" I have changed to a 3 star review as it does seem the owner wants to do right by the customer and I can respect that. --- Original 1 star review: I paid for 3 fingerprint cards for licensing and they were ALL rejected. I've now wasted a month of time on this and am running out of time due to this sloppy work. Before I start: I called the day before and set a specific time as to when I was coming in. I told them what I needed. They were aware I was coming. the location is a house with a curtain blocking their common area. There were children yelling and screaming the entire time and at one point also getting scolded and crying. I understand working in the home and generally do not have any issues with this, but due to the events that came after my patience was worn thin. The man who originally helped me was the younger of the two. He didn't know what he was doing at all. when I told him I needed a fingerprint card he went online and printed it out... on copy paper and it was cut off. I had to teach him how to print it within the paper boundaries and even then I asked are you sure this is what I'm suppose to use and not an actual card? They had other clients coming in and out and at one point they even asked me to wait for them to help the people who just came in because manual fingerprinting takes more time. I had to sit for 15 mins before he helped me, and then he asked me to move over and wait for him to service this person who just walked in & I stupidly obliged. I sat for another 30 minutes and then while still holding the copy paper manually printed version of the fingerprint card I decided this place didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. When I tried to leave because I was like why am I waiting for you to help someone who just walked in? And then out comes an older dude. He comes up to me and immediately says "oh no you can't use this paper (that I already filled out with sensitive information) you have to use thicker card" and brings me the actual fingerprint cards. He ignored me when I told him his colleague had been the one to print this for me. Then hands me fill out the thicker cards and goes back to servicing the lady who came in after me. Note they only had 4 thick printed cards left and I needed 3 good ones. The lady that came after me that they decided to service first took one of them. While he did my fingerprint cards he was getting smudges EVERYWHERE and one of the instructions from the licensing center said not to let the finger prints bleed into other boxes. Well, they did. He also got his own smudges on the paper, but the entire time kept telling me not to get his table dirty. The entire process was a total mess. After three cards were done, they handed me a small hand sanitizer bottle to clean up. Not even a sink or water, like hand sanitizer isn't going to do anything to finger print ink other than smear it around. It was the messiest and sloppiest procedure I've ever had done for fingerprinting. read more
