This was easy! I called in to check availability and pricing. I was told that it would cost $25 plus whatever fee the "FBI and Department of Justice" was charging to process. My total cost was $74 but I know that would have been the cost elsewhere and the other places didn't want to answer my questions. They gave me an appointment later in the day and reminded me to bring in my form. Sometimes parking can be a pain on Lincoln Ave but they have parking in the back of the office. I had gone to a postal office back in February to get my fingerprinting done. After four months of continuous waiting, my fingerprints had still not been received by the fbi or boj, resulting in my licence being delayed. After those months of frustration. It was recommended to just find a different fingerprinting place, to speed up the licence process. Therefore, looking online I encountered Total Live Scan and quickly called to set an appointment. He was able to fit me in on the same day within 20 mins of calling. As I was on my lunch hour and this place was 20 mins from my work, I asked how long the process would take. He stated that if I had the application ready and filled out, it would take around five mins. Well, said and done. It was a very quick process in comparison to the previous place I had gone where it had taken at least 30 mins to get both hands scanned. 2-3 days later he sent a message stating my background was cleared while the previous place had taken more than 4 months, and to this date still haven't heard from. Shortly after, I was notified that my license was approved. The lady from the board had stated, "this was the quickest she had ever seen".
