We came here pretty excited for my daughter's birthday. I think the place is nice but they have some serious things to work out. Wait staff should be trained and honestly the manager should be onsite helping when the sushi kitchen gets behind their main kitchen. A few things for us. The Boa Buns and dumplings were very good. The waitress however was off since we sat down. We were fine and understood in the beginning. And kindly reminded her on the items. She forgot my husband's drink and then when we ordered forgot his salad. We asked for a fork and again she forgot. We also asked about the green tea which tasted different and she said well I poured black tea. She could have just said... hmm let me check. Maybe our tea if just a bit different. Can I get you something else. Anyway. We also made it clear we were here to celebrate my 14yeat olds birthday and asked early about the dessert items. Hoping she would bring something special. I will get back to that. Anyway. We order ramen for the kids and sushi for the parents. Ramen comes out but bo sushi. So we wait. 10 min after being served the ramen. Waitress comes up apologizing. So we understand the kitchen is backed up. So we wait. 10 more min ahead does come back and I ask how long? She says probably 10 more min. We also have to say. Our table was still a mess with old dishes and drinks that were not cleared when other items arrived and we asked for napkins and silverware again. Which she forgot. again Needless to say. Food arrived 30 min after the other meals were served. She was pretty flustered and apologized. Then came to check on us after. When my husband started talking she must have forgotten something somewhere else and ran off I. Middle of sentence. I think honestly- it wasn't all her fault but a manager should have stepped in and she was Obviously a bit off with kitchen mess ups. We were kinda grossed out by the crunchy tuna cucumber roll and the Alaskan dynamite was super fishy. Kids liked the ramen though. In the end she got the check and forgot my daughter birthday dessert. We reminded her and asked for the dessert menu. She said. Well I just told you. It's mocha and various flavors. Experience for us was. Feeling that this place could be epic. Fails on customer service COMPLETELY Some great food and some totally disgusting. But they make you pay for it anyway. Not a place to go for special occasions. read more

We came because we were told it was good. We waited for 10 min and the server told us the bar tender called out so the bar was closed. No cocktail drinks available. read more

Really disappointed and it's rare if I don't like something enough to give it a bad review. Went here for dinner tonight, party of 2. To start off, the iced green tea was not good at all and no amount of sugar would fix it. We ordered the omiza spicy soup which was good and the dynamite calamari for appetizers. The menu said the dynamite calamari was gluten free and I'm starting to question if it actually is since I am gluten intolerant and now do not feel well. Our main entrees took 45 minutes to come out and were cold. We ordered the shrimp and scallop teriyaki as well as the chicken bulgolgi bento. The meat dumplings that came with the bento were average. The vegetables that came with the shrimp and scallops were under cooked. Our waiter apologized and appreciated us waiting (we did not complain), but we did see him walking around, talking to a friend, drinking a protein shake and he also kept taking off his hat and scratching his head which I didn't love...So even though I appreciated the apology I don't believe it was because the restaurant was overly busy, it was just because the waiter wasn't great. safe to say we won't be back... read more

Great food and service. Wide variety of options, good for vegetarians. Nice building and seating. Bar service is good too.

First time here and it won't be the last. From the moment we sat down the experience was wonderful. Our waitress Olivia was very attentive and welcoming, we came in on Christmas just as they reopened. We ordered several small plates to share and a couple of drinks to start off and our food took no more than 10 minutes to come out, every dish was fresh and delicious. The Korean wings were my favorite, the dumplings were fresh and the Pork belly Bao buns were amazing. We ordered our main dishes and Olivia had it timed perfectly once we were finished with our small plates. Every dish was freshly made and delicious, we enjoyed our time and will definitely recommend anyone looking for a reasonably priced delicious meal with great staff and service to try Omiza. read more

Amazing food!! I only ordered takeout from here a couple times and never been disappointed! The sushi is always fresh and packaged neatly that none of by rolls comes undone (even my Ikura sushi with quail egg). I love how they place a foil under the noodles so it's easy for me to take it out of the container and transport it on to a plate. I love their pad Thai and fried rice because the their noodle doesn't get gross and soggy and the fried rice is never overcooked. Now, as for as the service, it can be frustrating when hearing the busy ringtone when trying to order take out but...what do you expect? The food is bombdotcome so naturally they're going to have high call volume. I can't wait to try their Korean BBQ one day! read more

The owners of Oishi and KO from Newtown, so I know you can expect great Asian/Korean foods. A giant menu with tons of variety. 2 beers. 2 Mans Best Friend (tequila) Ordered a variety of small plates Omiza Spicy soup. Yummy. Spicy. Rice noodles. Spicy broth. Salad with carrot ginger dressing. Love it! Spicy pork/kimchi tacos. Not spicy at all. Seafood fried rice. Pineapple fried rice. Very good with fresh veggies. Wasabi pork dumplings. Yum! Beef bulgogi steamed buns. Nice Japanese mayo. Bulgogi was tasty. Asst. Pancakes. Kimchi, seafood and veggie. Loved the kimchi! Asst sushi. The best and fresh! Omiza Butchers Feast (for 2 for $78). Comes with filet, ribeye and marinated short rib, multiple mushrooms, broccoli, garlic, onions and squash. Served with bowls of flaked salt and sesame oil for flavor. Grill your own table side. Served with Ban Chan: lettuce for wraps, fermented bean paste, sticky rice, fermented asst:(kimchi, radish and cucumbers), 2 diff bowls of salad like toppings. They give you a big hunk of ribeye fat to oil the grill. Great idea. This was extremely upscale Korean BBQ! One of the best! I feel bad that they are only able to use every other table, but this is Friday night before the Wolf shutdown, tomorrow: nothing! Great food and service. $225 for a tremendous amount of great tasting food. Bar service was a bit slow. read more

So let me start this off by saying I am a huge supporter of small businesses and love recommending restaurants to friends around the area to support. We will never support Omiza and will make sure others don't deal with the same crap we dealt with. This experience wasn't just disappointing, but was an absolute disgrace. This is the worst time I have had going out since before Covid started. Here we go: Had reservations and sat in a rather secluded area by the bar, but that was fine. Our waiter seemed nice and was a younger teen so I don't want to bash him too much. However, it was clear he wasn't properly trained as that falls on ownership. So we received our soups except my son who never was asked if he wants soup or salad with his entree. We also had to ask for forks for the kids. So we received their Shumai. Had to flag someone down for plates as we had already asked our waiter for the forks. Forks never came until after they just ate it with their hands. Additionally we had to ask continuously for water refills and napkins. Each time we felt like we were inconveniencing our waiter. Finally my son's entree comes along with my wife's steamed vegetables she got and the fried rice for the table, which tasted rather over cooked and too much oil. No sushi rolls for us, no tuna pizza for my daughter and her Bao Buns weren't there yet. Fried rice was gone quick cause we were hungry. Another 20 minutes goes by and my son is close to finished. We finally get our sushi rolls which they put my wife's roll on my plate with my sushi. Really she can't even get her own plate? Waiter is annoyed and hands her a small plate to put it on with a dish for soy sauce. Only problem. No side if wasabi, ginger or soy sauce at the table. My daughter at least got her own plate for the tuna pizza. How generous. So after my wife got her soy sauce after another 10 minutes we were almost done EXCEPT my daughter's bao buns which were given to someone else!!!!! No apology and we waited for them cause she was hungry. My kids wanted the Mochi dessert, but we found a different place cause we weren't waiting 30 minutes for that. We get our bill and I still tipped our waiter over 20% cause that's just what you do. This place is a disgrace. DO NOT EAT HERE. Food isn't bad, but it's clear they do not care about their customers. They do not train their staff. I'm very angry I spent over $200 here last night and not one single apology or anything discounted or taken away on the menu. You do not treat people this way, while inconveniencing them and then acting annoyed. This place will fail miserably if they keep this up. read more

Do not go here if you need gluten free! The menu online shows much of the menu as GF. But when we sat at the table we noticed one of the menus had the 'GF' whited out. Then we noticed the other menus had GF scribbled out lightly. When we asked the waitress we were told only the sushi bowls were gf. Waitress did go back and talk to the cook who said a few other items were also GF but I was not confident and we ended up leaving without eating. The restaurant really needs to update their menus and train staff better. read more

We love Omiza and go there often! I particularly love the bento box. Great options, good portions, great service and wonderful atmosphere!

Food was excellent. Order taking was very slow. Never got drink refills or water refills. Small details soy sauce dishes, utensils, sauces provided after food was cold. Server was more interested in the hostesses than the customers. Never have we left no tip until tonight. Food was excellent read more

Nice atmosphere. Food and service were good. I would visit again. Only drawback is lack of parking.

Came on a Wednesday night and sat at the bar. What a nice clean restaurant, and the bartender was super friendly! We had a nice conversation while I ordered a delicious craft brew, then I decided to try the KFC wings and WOW!! It's not something I say lightly, I consider myself a wing connoisseur, but these were definitely the BEST wings I have ever had. The flavor was incredible with a bit of heat, and the outside was crisped PERFECTLY while the meat was tender and juicy. I'm not kidding, these were the GOAT. For my dinner meal I ordered the bento box and again, it was so delicious and filling. I love being able to try a few different things at a new restaurant, so this was perfect. I really can't wait to try it again the next time I'm in Dansboro! read more

A good addition to d-town's restaurant scene. Nice ambiance. Specialty cocktails are worth trying. So far my fave is the Upper Bucks. Pancake appetizers are fun to share. So far I've enjoyed the Thai side of the menu a little more than the sushi. More sampling needed. read more

Wow! What great meals we had at Omiza. Sashimi, Bimibap, and steak. Our appetizers were types of dumplings which were delicious. Upon entering we were greeted and then seated. Our waitress welcomed us and took our orders. Seating was comfortable. The restaurant is new. Nice looking facility. Bar seating was packed with people. Glad we had a reservation at 5:30 on a Friday. Limited beer selection. I had a Sapporo which was fine with me. Pricing is 2-3 stars. I highly recommend Omiza. If you like Sushi, Sashimi, and Korean food, you are in for a treat. read more

The food is amazing. Unfortunately, the service is not. We had a reservation for 6:30 and we were not seated until 7. Once seated, it took quite long for our food to come out, and one of our items was forgotten entirely. Newer spot in Doylestown off the beaten path. Ooka may be facing some serious competition. The drinks were fresh, not too fruity, smooth and layered with flavor. Edible flowers-nice touch. Stopped by Omiza today for happy hour! We had a variety of appetizers including the chicken satay skewers, honey garlic chicken bao bun, tofu skewers and the vegetable spring rolls, which were all delicious! SAVE YOUR MONEY. This place was terrible and expensive. Food quality is awful ordered fried dumpling they served me something that looked and tasted awful. Seriously not a good place to dine. I wish the owner would fix the doors which are difficult to open. Some people struggle to open them. The food is good.

Solid 4 stars. We came for lunch during the week and both ordered bento boxes. The standout star for me was their edamame dumplings! They're edamame purée, cream, and truffle oil and I could have eaten 10 of them! I believe the bento boxes were $13/each and included either miso soup or salad. The servers were polite but they were understaffed and service was pretty slow. I'd like to go back for Korean BBQ. read more

This is going to be a combination of all my visits here ... which tells you that yes I liked it. I was so excited for this place to initially open back in fall of 2020. I've frequented their parent establishment in Newtown so I knew this was going to be good!! That said why the 4 stars?!? It's more a matter of what I was used to from a Korean bbq experience. It was the experience I was looking forward to but I will say the food an quality did not disappoint! They have a great happy hour too and honestly this is what keeps bringing me back! I love love love happy eats and discounted drinks are a plus. Go there for sure for dinner but definitely go back for happy hour! Happy eating read more
