Favorite items: Pork loin, crab rangoon, sushi, cheesy spinach, beef short rib. I can't stress how much the sushi was fresh fish and good ratios of fish to veggies and rice! Usually buffets don't put as much fish on the sushi, but the guy saw which rolls I was eating and made sure to keep the sushi bar stocked with things I'd like. Mashed potatoes were alright as well, and the soup area had over 4 or 5 options, with the hot and sour soup being the favorite that I've had in a bit from Chinese spots. Even with not many people coming out, the buffet was fresh, hot, and everything that was out was edible, presentable, and quality.

This rating is closer to 3.5 When Panasian first opened, it was worth a 4.8 Panasian for the first 2 or 3 years of its opening, was the BEST Chinese Buffet in the Philadelphia, Montgomery County, Bucks County area, and dare I say, one of the best $8 Chinese Buffet lunches in the world. The majority of the pictures I am posting will be from that era. Their servers were better than most buffets, but their food and selection used to be INSANE. Their food is still decent, but not where it was during their prime. The employees at the front have always been rude and nasty, but their servers, the people that used to work at the sushi bar and hibachi grill were friendly. Oh, how I miss the Panasian of old......... It is still a better destination that most Chinese Buffets out there, but it used be on a different level...

The food was good, the people were nice, and the price was okay. Not bad for a place to eat.

The first visit there was GREAT. Went with a bunch of friends and it's byob so we brought along some beer. Dinner was $13-$14 pp plus drinks and that's pretty cheap. Plus I checked in and got 10% off. It's a buffet so it's not the best quality but it was better than most spots I've been to. The place is clean, service is decent and there's a lot of options. I went again a week later and the food wasn't as fresh. I had the lo mein and there was definitely something wrong with it. I think it was spoiled. Other than that one item everything else was fine. They have sushi. I didn't try it but my friends seem to enjoy it.

Very decent for the price! I found this place through YELP review and Im so happy I came here. Between hibachi, roasted duck, lobster, clams, steak and sushi among others this place was exactly my liking. The sushi was a little questionable but still decent. The waitress went out of her way to show me the freshly served lobster and scooped almost a whole plate for me. Thats very generous!! For 12.99/person wednesday night, I say this would be a local and to go spot for food everyone can enjoy! The location has a small parking lot but located in a nice seating area. In the area? Definitely try it out! ***Address is incorrect! 781 Adams Ave****

Love this buffet!!! This is the best buffet to go to. It's in decent location and it's clean. I was surprised to find out how affordable it is to eat here. The food selection is plentiful. You have fruit, soup, sushi and grilled foods. They also have crab legs which I suggest you keep an eye on the swing door for the staff to come out with the pan of crab legs. It's a good place for big groups too.

Honestly wasn't expecting much when I arrived at Panasian Buffet this afternoon. It was my third choice within 20 feet. Decided against Pho because I didn't feel like it and already had Cafe Saigon banhmi twice this week already. Browsing Panasian Buffet's yelp page showed much props for the sushi section and for $7.99 lunch special, its honestly worth the risk. Boy were they right. The quality of fish and extensive selection of rolls came as a surprise. Honestly one of their largest sections. The rolls were well made and comparable to sushi joints in the northeast and much better than typical Chinese buffet's half ass attempt at including Japanese fare. Downsides are really the parking, really small lot that gets packed quickly and only small selection of Chinese food of average quality as well as a weak HVAC system, really froze my ass off today while eating. Maybe they want you to leave quicker? Bottom line, for basically the price of one roll at a Japanese place you can have a full selection already made.

I would give this buffet 3.5 food wise . Coming from Boston I've had better . But this buffet , I would rate it the second best in the city , my first being ruby buffet other than the one time bad experience I've had there . But this is the only buffet by far that I know serve lobsters . My number one thing which I usually come for . My waitress was very attentive . So that's a plus .

    Is this place BYOB?

I am not sure, but I have seen people come in with outside containers and pulling containers from their purses. They look like smoothie containers, perhaps they contain something else. The atmosphere is friendly.

We ordered the crispy chicken bao buns, crispy shrimp, general tso soup dumplings, wagyu beef, Korean bbq beef, and hamachi ceviche. We were a group of 3 so one thing that was nice was that our waiter added 1 additional skewer/bao bun for the meals instead of ordering 2 plates of them. Out of all the food we ordered the most delicious were the meats; the wagyu and Korean bbq beef. They were so tender and lightly seasoned because the beef quality itself was good. The Wagyu beef was paired with an apricot dip that was really good. The chilli crisp chicken bao was also good but didn't have much sauce, so it was on the dry side. It was supposed to have chilli so we expected it to be spicy but it was not. We all really liked the crispy shrimp--it was truly crispy. The sauce and the radish paired really nicely with the shrimp as well. The one meal we did not enjoy were the soup dumplings. When we got them they were dripping of raw dough and had no soup in them. The waiter was kind enough to replace them but we still didn't really enjoy them. I did not try the hamachi ceviche because I'm pregnant but it was also a favorite from the group. For dessert we had the mini ice cream cones. The waiter again added an extra one for us. The flavors were chocolate banana and mango. They were good, small bites. One of them melted so quickly and fell on the table and the waiter was really kind and got us a replacement. I did use the bathroom and absolutely hated it. It was unbelievably dark in there and there were weird sounds playing in there. I went in there to make sure I didn't have food in my teeth but couldn't even see. Super inaccessible, hopefully that's something that can be changed. The service overall was clearly excellent! I would recommend this place, especially if you come for the meats. It was surprisingly filling too.

This is an annual dinner held…read morehere in remembrance of a couple who loved celebrating Chinese New Year and would always come here. I've lived in this community for a long time and have driven past this restaurant countless times, but yesterday was actually my first time dining here. Parking: There is a very small parking lot, so be prepared to park on the street. Since it's also in a residential area, street parking was a little challenging. We ended up parking about a block away and walking. We were seated in a private room and enjoyed several courses from the banquet menu. Drink: creamy espresso martini. It was ok. Hors d'oeuvres your own plate: Lobster shrimp dumplings Taro crab cake Firecracker spring roll with lotus root, shiitake, carrot, and jicama Grilled lemongrass chicken The lobster shrimp dumplings were delicious. The taro crab cake was pretty good as well. The firecracker spring roll was also enjoyable. The grilled lemongrass chicken was my least favorite it had a spice that didn't sit well with my palate. Next course family style which I like: Champagne Maine Lobster Lobster sautéed with shrimp, shiitake, and snow peas served with longevity noodles and ginger scallion sauce. The lobster itself was tender, but I'm not a fan of ginger, so that dish wasn't really for me. Plum Duck: Crispy duck served with broccolini and sweet rice with Chinese sausage. I loved the crispy duck skin, but duck has a strong flavor and I just wasn't in the mood for it. The sweet rice was a bit too sticky for my liking. Pinecone Crispy Seabass: A whole crispy seabass with pineapple, onion, edamame, sweet peppers, and gunpowder sauce. This was my favorite dish of the night. The fish was excellent -- crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I even ate the head! Five Spice Braised Short Rib: Slow cooked with sautéed green apple and gai lan served with noodles. The short rib was fall-off-the-bone tender, though I didn't care much for the noodles. We also had pineapple vegetable fried rice with shiitake, basil, tomato, snow peas, carrot, and egg. That was very good -- I paired it with the fish and duck. Dessert single serve: Lunar walnut cake Triple chocolate mousse Mango crème brûlée Fresh berries which were unripe strawberries so I didn't eat them The mango crème brûlée was my favorite dessert. Lightly sweet. Overall, the restaurant serves Chinese cuisine with a French flair. The service was good and the staff was very attentive. I would definitely return to try more dishes and I will absolutely be back for that crispy seabass again.

As for my mains, I got the Crab & Shrimp Fried Rice and the Sichuan Chicken and Veggies. I was super excited to see Crab Fried Rice on the menu as it's one of my favorite asian dishes. However, the addition of the shrimp seemed to overpower the dish with a very "seafoody, shrimpy" taste to it. Kind of took away from the rice as a whole. The crab was nice though and there were big lump chunks of it. The star definitely was the Sichuan Chicken and Veggies, can't wait to go back for this dish as I loved the sauce, the tender chicken and veggies cooked to perfection as well. Thinking next time I go with Veggie Fried Rice and then the Sichuan Chicken dish for sure. Great atmosphere and aesthetic as well.

I do think I would order some different things next time - we ended up with quite a lot of carbs, and some of the dishes didn't wow me just due to personal tastes. But the plov was an absolute standout and was probably the best rendition of the dish I've had - super flavorful rice with perfectly tender lamb. I went in with pretty high expectations, especially knowing they do more fusion-style flavors. I got the $10 tester where you pick two flavors and get a few of each. I chose the fried duck dumplings and the boiled wagyu dumplings. The fried duck dumplings leaned way too sweet for me. The sauce completely took over and I couldn't really taste much duck at all. It ended up tasting more like sugary glaze than anything savory or rich. The wagyu dumplings had the opposite issue. They were pretty light on filling, so the flavor didn't really come through. It's one of those cases where the wrapper outweighs what's inside, so you're mostly tasting dough unless you dip it heavily in sauce. Speaking of sauce, you only get one included and the rest cost extra. I tried the hot oil, but it wasn't actually spicy. It had more of an oily, slightly garlicky flavor without much heat or depth, so it didn't really help bring the dumplings to life. The space itself is small and has a nice, casual feel, but it wasn't very busy when I went. There were only a couple of staff working, and it did feel a bit understaffed. There was some mess around the dining area, which took away from the experience a bit, though it seemed more like they just didn't have enough hands on deck. Food did take a little while, but it at least came out fresh. They also have a takeout window, which seems like a convenient option if you're just grabbing something quick. Overall, I think the concept is interesting, but the execution didn't quite land for me. A bit pricey for what you get, and the flavors didn't really hit the mark. Might work better if you're specifically looking for more fusion-style dumplings, but it wasn't what I was hoping for.
