I've been a loyal client of this salon for many years, and unfortunately my experience today was beyond disappointing and extremely unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment for 3:00 PM and was later asked via text to come at 3:45 PM instead. I adjusted my schedule and arrived at the updated appointment time, only to then be told after I was already there that Queenie "was not comfortable" doing my nails. No explanation. No prior notice. No courtesy call before having me drive there and rearrange my day. What made the situation especially frustrating was that I had an important appointment afterward and specifically made time for this service because one of my nails was broken and painful. Instead, I was left scrambling last minute to find another salon after my confirmed appointment was essentially canceled in person. As a long time paying client, the way this was handled felt dismissive, disrespectful, and incredibly poorly managed. If a nail tech does not wish to take a client, that should be communicated before the client arrives not after changing their appointment time and having them sit in the salon. I remained respectful and calm when I left, but I genuinely have never experienced something handled this unprofessionally at a salon before. Disappointed. I liked this one girl who did great on my nails two years ago and wished I got her name. Since then, I haven't seen her and my nails were a 3.5-4 out of five stars after. I liked the vibes here until one day, i wanted to try something different and asked for rhinestones addition. I asked if the nail tech was able to do it and she said yes. However, I can tell there was hesitation in her voice of wanting to do it. Secondly, I heard the manager saying something about me and it really bummed me out. I'm not a confrontational type of person, and was fuming inside, saying I'm a difficult customer. If anyone knows me, I'm the most easiest, flexible, and friendly person. Lost a customer that day. Wanted to treat myself before a trip as this month was when I was diagnosed with cancer and entering my 2nd year of remission but my experience today was absolutely awful and I wish I got her name. She was SO rude when I was trying to tell her what I wanted (just a gel manicure in a specific color I was looking for) and she kept saying "you are so picky" and "you chose this" raising her voice at me when I was trying to communicate with her a VERY simple and easy request. I had been a customer for over 10 years until tonight. My usual pedicurist was booked. I have known the owner for all this time yet she booked me with a new woman who did not follow any of the usual procedures. She did not let my feet soak at all. She aggressively used the grater even where I had no rough skin and she cut me in two places. One with grater and the other with scissors. She put so much oil on my legs and feet that I had to get a wet towel before I could leave so it would not stain my clothes or car. She did not know how to properly massage legs or feet and I repeatedly had to tell her to stop since she was hurting me. The manager/owner still made me pay even though I was cut. I complained in the store and also called her. She promised to call me back but never did. I want my money back!! This is how you treat a loyal customer?? read more

Alright I was trying to be generous with my original review with three stars but it's two days since my manicure and three of my cuticles are totally jacked up! The nail tech nicked several of my cuticles with the nail drill several times (read the original review - doing my nails wasn't her primary focus) and my thumb was actively bleeding during the manicure. I appreciate small businesses and how hard they work... but this is awful. A $70 manicure and my cuticles are worse off than when I went, the flowers look terrible and the experience was stressful. I went to this salon 3 times earlier this year and it was very busy every time. Because it is so busy, the technicians are always rushing. They switch off technicians on you several times throughout your time there so you don't feel like you're relaxing. It can get messy too because they don't have the time to clean. They usually tend to put more nail polish than necessary too. All 3 times, I had very thick nail polish that I did not like. I ended up finding another salon to go several months ago which meets my needs. read more

It has now turned into my go to salon for all services. I've been going consistently for over a year. Here's what I love about OMG nails... -Quality of work-My main service is a gel manicure. I can go at least 3 weeks before having to go back. This is because they take their time and they do quality work. I love that! I've been to many salons where my gel is chipping after just 1 week. -Friendly service-All the technicians are super friendly and great at what they do! -Availability-It is rare that I go in during my week lunch break and have to wait to get into a chair. Obviously during holidays it gets a little hectic, but even then they will get you taken care of as soon as they can. -Cleanliness-The salon is always super clean and well kept. I have been going to this salon for few months now and have had 2 bad experiences before but still decided to keep going there since majority of the time it was fine. But yesterday I went there and just wanted and clear mani and pedi. The lady was in a rush and I told her that she didn't shape my nails properly and the surface looks rough. She said no it's fineand jsut left it that that. She didn't take my hand cuticles off properly and didn't even put cream at the end or the hot towel. Normally I love them but ever since Alice left the quality has gone down hill. I had a dip mani done today and the results aren't great, they especially neglected my cuticles. I am used to gel manicures where they clean the nail bed up before polish. With dip there they really neglected my cuticles and it looks shoddy. I wanted to try a new nail place and found this place! I ended up getting a gel manicure and a pedicure. The gel manicure was great and I loved the color i picked. I just wish I knew that some of the gel nail polishes came in a set with a matching regular polish. Without knowing this I picked a different color for my toes. Another thing was during the pedicure she nicked my big toe. Other than that, the place was clean and the service and prices were good ($58) for both! I would definitely come again and now i'll know about the matching polish. read more

I've been to this salon a handful of times so I have a good feel of the salon. I personally get long acrylic nails with gel polish. I recently got a brand new full set of acrylic nails with the gel polish as usual. My nails didn't even make it 2 weeks before 1 nail completely just popped right off as if it wasn't even glued onto my actual finger nail, it came off so effortlessly, there no reason the WHOLE nail popped off... Then I have another nail completely broken in half, same day... So I went into the salon to get my 2 broken nails fixed a little over a week after getting the new set of nails. The lady that fixed my 2 broken nails had an attitude the entire time & acted as if I was a complete inconvenience to her as well as blaming the length of my nails was why they broke... I've had my long nails done for 13 years & never have they broken a week & a few days after getting them done. ONE DAY later 2 other nails completely break in half as well as another nail lifting off my real nail causing pain... So that's a total of 5 nails broken in less than 2 WEEKS after paying a good amount of many just to have to go back to the salon twice in 2 days to get my nails fixed... I've never been to a salon where the technicians are this careless at their work & this rude to paying customers who they disappointed more than once. So I will not be going to this salon ever again. We'll see how many days until my next nail completely breaks off because of their poor service. read more

I had been going here for years and previously rated it four stars. Unfortunately quality here has gone down, it seems in order for them to squeeze in as many people as possible. They rush to get my nails done and only a few of them know how to do anything beyond very basic mani/pedis and even then I have to keep explaining what I want. Worst experience of my life. I went 6 days ago to get the SNS Dip. I had an appointment scheduled but had to still wait 30 minutes to be served and then I requested an extra layer as I like my nails and instead he made them very by filing the layers. Because of this my nail broke from being under so much unnecessary pressure of when did that. I was trying to put my sock on and my nail broke in the center which was very painful. I go in the next politely asking that nail to be redone even though all of my nails were not up to par and they color was faded after 6 days which should never happen with dip. As they take off the color, I am in pain bc my nail is completely cracked in half the technicians then began to laugh at me and call me sensitive as if my nail wasn't bleeding and there so damage to my nail. I came in the first time and told him that i wanted the dip nails and i didn't want him to use a drill he did what i asked and made sure that i was okay through the process. I just returned to OMG My Nails after a long pandemic and move-induced hiatus! I used to come here religiously for dip/SNS service. I had a bad SNS job done at a salon closer to me but Jenny here fixed everything right up with an efficient and relaxing appointment. I have been coming here for several months now and will never try another place! I see the same nail tech each time and she is phenomenal. I used to do gel manicures every two weeks here and have recently switched to the SNS dip manicure. The SNS lasts three weeks for me. I could go longer but I prefer three weeks. All the employees here are sweet and accommodating. I recommend making an appointment, but they do see walk ins. read more
