If something wasn't up to her standard, she wasn't afraid to start over, and ensured I was happy with each step and color choice, which I really appreciated. The salon is Korean-owned, and reservations are a good idea since it's usually busy--probably because it's right next to George Mason. The music isn't too loud, and they have TVs playing shows, creating a relaxed atmosphere. Tracy is THE one. When she does my nails, they last all month. At other places, I would see signs of lifting at 2 weeks. With Tracy, I don't have to worry about it at all. My most recent nails lasted *7 WEEKS*. They definitely could've lasted longer, but I broke my nail and needed to get it fixed ASAP. All I'm saying is that lifting and chipping do not exist if you go to Tracy. She is also patient when I'm trying to figure out colors/designs, gives really good suggestions, and takes her time! Came here on a slow Tuesday morning with my SO to get a pedicure for the first time! It was quite a nice experience to be pampered being a man. They sit you on a massage chair and have you roll up your pants so you can soak them in a special warm water bath. I had Tracy take care of me today and she was fantastic from start to finish. I don't even know what was going on but my toes all the way to below my knees feel really smooth. The treatment was heaven spa pedicure. I'm pretty sure she used more than 10 different types of products for my feet and legs. The used a warm towel to wrap my legs and worked on them one at a time. The total process took a little less than an hour. I'm really pleased at how smooth my feet are and how clean my toenails are. I would definitely do this again! I learned a lot today! read more

Wanted to pamper my mom and came here after work on a Tuesday around 3pm. Appointment process: This was so easy. I just called and they had both me and my mom scheduled in less than 5 minutes! Appointment Day: * They took our temperature and had us use hand sanitizer as soon as we walked in (YES! I love when businesses are proactive and taking covid seriously). * My mom got a pedicure and a manicure (they had her get the pedicure first). She had Tina and absolutely LOVED her experience there. Tina was great and gave her some nice suggestions for colors. * I just got a gel manicure (pictured) with Kelly. She was so kind and helpful! I came in with an inspo pic and she did her best to match it for me. Even though they didn't have the gems to exactly recreate it, she offered other suggestions and really put an effort to help me get what I pictured. It really felt that she cared. * After the manicure, she massaged my hands, arms, and shoulders. She put scrub on my hands, lotion, and hot stone (what a TREAT!). Gel manicure + Simple design (on 2 nails) = $35 + $6 Manicure + Pedicure = $55 Both prices are prior to tip I took -0.5 because I felt a bit rushed. After a spa pedicure and gel manicure, overall I'm happy with my experience at Heaven Nail & Spa. My only complaint is that they charged me $10 to take off my SNS which I think is insane. I've never been charged to get this taken off... a few bucks ok fine, but $10 seems excessive. My nails look great and the appointment was quick. I had been coming here for a few years (at least 3) when I decided I would stop. The reason being after a few years you realize which of the techs you trust and want them to handle your nails. I always scheduled on the app and had a membership with them. The last two times I scheduled on the app I selected specific techs that I like. The techs I go to know me now. But last two times they switched the tech that was gonna work on me. Luckily this change shows up on the app. If you are given a choice and choose a specific person the least they can do is call you (they have my phone) and ask if it's ok with me to change the tech. I first went to Heaven in 2019 as I was looking for a salon that would do nail art in the Northern VA area. Each time I have been, I have not been disappointed! This was my first time back since the start of the pandemic, and I am so glad I decided to come back to Heaven after two years. I had to get gel tips removed and did a fresh coat of gel with nail art (in a festive feel too!). The paint job wasn't the cleanest on a singular finger near the cuticle, but we're all human! I had to write a review of today's experience. Monday is usually very slow so I made an appointment this morning to get a gel manicure. I feel like I'm always challenging them with difficult designs because I typically bring a picture of how I want them to be done, but it's amazing how they can do as it looks in the picture! I have tried many local nail salons, and by far this place does the best job for manicures. Hands down. No pun intended. They put two layers of base coat, three layers of color, and then two layers of top coat. They ensure the polish doesn't get on the cuticles, so when the polish grows out it doesn't look messy. They do wonderful nails at great prices, nearly unbeatable in the area in terms of quality at the price ($35 for gel manicure). Came to get nails done before a wedding! Party of 6ppl--bride, mother of the bride, and 4 bridesmaids~ They were very accommodating! I think we called to make an appointment a little over a week before? I could not make up my mind with the shade of nude and my technician, Jenna was amazing! I have been coming here on & off for well over 8 years now and I can honestly this is probably one of the best nails salons in the area. I try new nail salons every so often, but I find myself always coming back here for gel manis & regular pedis. They're consistent with quality on products and service and the workers are friendly and polite. Suda is my go-to gal, but I've come in on days she's not there & my service was still great. They take their time in their cleaning, massage, and polish application. This is one of the few places where my gel polish reallyyy lasts. The salon itself is small, but overall very clean. The prices are comparable for the area and they offer a small discount if you pay cash. There is also a membership option. Had a gel manicure and it lasted less than a week! They don't clean/ trim your cuticles and nails before putting on the gel polish so the final manicure just doesn't look as cleaned up as it should. I've been here about 5 times now and am happy to say I've found myself a new home. It's hard to find good a place where more than one nail tech can provide a good gel manicure. Service is quick yet detailed and of quality. Price is a little higher than other local spots but you get what you pay for. Typically quiet with soft music in the background. Love that you can pay for your own box and the rewards program. Their gift card method is a bit outdated but I respect the old school fashion way. I got the impression that my nail artist was not in the mood to listen to my request. This was my first time going to this salon after a referral from my friend. I had been looking for a Korean salon since they are better known for their cute designs. The salon is easy to get too off a main road and has its own parking lot so no worries there. The salon on the inside is not very big. Seats only 6-7 people for manis same with the pedicure seats. They also don't seem to have TOO many colors to select from. After I chose a color and sat down, one of the workers came over and gave me a shoulder massage which was very nice. I honestly was not very impressed with the nail care work (filing, cuticle cutting, etc). I am however very happy with the design which was the whole reason I sought this place out. I took them a picture I saw on Pinterest and it turned out great! All the ladies were very nice and accommodating. Also receive a hot stone hand massage and another shoulder rub at the end. It was a random Saturday and I had acrylic on my nails that were a month old and I desperately wanted to get a soak off and try a SNS manicure. I called the salon and made an appointment for a soak off and SNS manicure (this salon only offers natural nail services). As I arrived they immediately took my temperature when I walked in and they have a hand sanitizer station right in front of the front door. They also have a clear shield in front of you and the nail technician which is awesome during these times! My nail tech was Tina and she was amazing! I get a gel mani and a regular pedi for $70 (My last spot was $67) and Heaven's regular pedicure includes WAY more than any other nail salon I've been to in NoVa. 2. Their regular pedi is so detailed and includes an exfoliating scrub, a hot stone massage, and paraffin wax (on top of everything a normal pedi consists of). 3. They have a member program. You pay a one time fee of $10 and then you get a cubby with your own tools PLUS cash back for each visit that you can use towards whatever at the salon. Now having experienced getting nails done during COVID, I can also add how seriously Heaven Nail takes the precautions. They had done temperature checks, had dividers up, everyone in masks, constantly disinfecting, changing the cling wrap on cushions, etc. Now that things are opening back up, some of these precautions have relaxed but it still felt very safe and all staff (and most customers) were in masks. Everything was okay for the most part but what was disappointing was that our calluses were hardly shaved. For spending $70 each after tipping, I expected better. They have a sign in the store saying the prices are going up May 1st but even at this "cheaper" price I didn't feel like we got our moneys worth. This place nails it every time! I love bringing in nail art photos and having a manicurist here recreate the design, it's always turned out really well. Everyone here is very friendly and easygoing and the customer service is exceptional. Seems like the reviews are pretty comprehensive but here are some other things to know: - They don't do acrylic nails or fill ins here - Lina is really great with nail art (marble nails, glass nails etc). $5 extra per nail for nail art so it can get pricey if you want to do something really intricate - 5% discount if you pay with cash - Book an appointment ahead of time because their schedule is packed!
