Had a great experience at Her Nails for our first time gel manicure. The staff were nice and very mindful of the booked appointments for the day. The lady that greeted us seemed to know by heart who had booked at what time and would greet the people coming in with their respective names and set them up with the services. It did feel a bit frantic and rushed at the beginning that I didn't get to look long and hard at all the colors since there was a lot of options to look at and they had set up our stations already. But overall it was a nice, welcoming, and straightforward service. The place is clean, and the staff immediately clean up their stations once they finish working on a customer! read more

I came into Her Nails on a whim and was greeted warmly by Helen who would be my nail tech. She is friendly and very meticulous in the work she does. She does the best manicures and pedicures and my cuticles NEVER look chewed up or over cut. She takes her time and provides high quality service each visit. Although I have only pedicures and gel nail services I've seen the work of some of the other techs in the salon and it looks pretty nice. Everyone in the salon is friendly and always up for a good chat as it is a relatively small salon. I love the assortment of refreshments right at the front while you wait or pick your colors, it's a perfect little space. I will continue to come to the salon as long as Helen is here! read more

We're new to the area and it's always such a pain finding a place to do your nails! This business was fantastic! It has a Chic, clean, and relaxing ambience. Though they were very busy and we walked in without an appointment, they seated my daughter and I immediately! I had a wonderful spa pedicure with Jenny who did a fantastic massage and paint job on my gel pedicure. She fixed my caterpillar eyebrows too. She was very sweet, funny and professional. My daughter had a kids pedicure which was well done and pretty. The only critique I have is that it's rather pricy relative to other businesses in the area who offer similar services: $25 added price to whichever service you choose for a gel pedicure, $15-25 gel removal, $60 spa pedicure, and $25 for a kids pedicure. I didn't catch how much eyebrows were but it ended up being $125 before tip. I'll be back to see Jenny, but I think I'll take my kiddo to a less expensive place next time she wants her toes done. read more

Awesome and more awesome. I went in same day and got an appointment for later in the afternoon. I got off work later than expected and they took me anyway and didn't give me side-eye about it. They took me back and offered me something to drink - not just store brand bottled water, but from a selection of sodas, etc. My manicurist was lovely and did a wonderful job! My pedicure was absolutely fantastic. I am however sad that after 3 days my gel manicure started to lift and even though I went back and that nail was fixed, the remainder of them lifted (ends and cuticles) while I was on vacation, only 5 days after my initial appointment. It's hard enough to find time for the appointment but trying to go back to get them fixed is even more difficult. Not sure I'll be back, at least not for a gel mani. read more

As a New Yorker, I tend to avoid getting my nails done when visiting family in this area because I've been disappointed many times in the past. However, Her Nails & Spa was a pleasant surprise this weekend! Easy to book an appointment (I called day of), once you enter you're nicely greeted and offered a beverage. I was immediately serviced and walked out feeling pretty satisfied with the execution of the design. I hope the gel manicure lasts as long as my usual place-- but so far, a few days out it's still looking great. I had such an amazing experience here that I felt like I had to share. I called around 5:40 PM to see if they were still taking clients, and even though they were closing at 6, they told me to come in. I let them know it would take me about 15-20 minutes to get there, and they were completely okay with it. I arrived at 5:58, literally right before closing, and they still welcomed me without hesitation and treated me like any other customer. Xuan was the one who took care of me, and she was absolutely incredible. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and at ease. I honestly felt a little guilty coming in so close to closing time, but she never once made me feel rushed or like I was an inconvenience. She took her time and made sure everything was done perfectly. As a mom of three boys, I was feeling really overstimulated and just needed a moment to relax, and she gave me exactly that. From start to finish, the experience was calming, peaceful, and exactly what I needed. I left feeling completely satisfied and so grateful. I even told her before I left that she has no idea how much I truly appreciated her. This was my first time visiting, and it exceeded all my expectations. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful, clean, and has such a calming atmosphere. I started coming to this salon in June, and while Tanya was truly excellent, the service quality has noticeably declined since her departure. The most frustrating part has been the complete disregard for client scheduling and preferences. For my August 2nd appointment alone, the salon changed my booking five times--without explanation. This wasn't an isolated incident either; a previous appointment I had booked with Tanya was also changed last minute, and I was reassigned to someone else without my consent. Despite specifically requesting both my manicure and pedicure with Tanya, I was switched to Jenny without notice. Unfortunately, the experience with Jenny did not meet expectations. The way this business operates now feels careless and dismissive--as if accommodating customers is an inconvenience rather than a core part of their service. There is no accountability, no communication, and no consideration for your time or loyalty. Deeply disappointing. read more

I have been going here since they opened and never had a bad experience. Until the last time. I made an appointment and the man that did my pedicure not only dropped my wallet in the pedicure bath, he sliced open my foot when he was exfoliating. Then another person did my nails and told me that I should be more careful. Really!!!!!!!! I didn't want to write this review but it has been really bugging me and I have to get it off my chest. If you want to have your belongings dropped in a bath, then have your foot cut open and then be told that you should be more careful then this place is just for you. read more

This was my first visit to this salon. Annie did a fantastic pedicure. She was very gentle and did a great job in removing calluses. I love that they use a tub liner, and individually wrapped and autoclaved instruments. The salon is very neat and clean. I will be returning. read more

The inside has the standard massage chairs you'd expect, the vibe is very "chill and do your own thing," and I'm sure you could ask for tea or whatever else you need. I got a pedicure at the beginning of March (and I know I'm due for another one soon!), but get this: I just got regular polish--no gel or anything--and the color is still completely on my toenails! If you ask me, that is quality. Definitely worth it. If you're in a pinch or just in the area, go ahead and hit this spot. They will not disappoint!

Instead of enjoying my trip worry-free, I had to scramble to find another nail tech at the last minute and pay even more money to have my nails fixed. No one should have to spend additional money correcting a service they just paid for days earlier. I have always supported this business and trusted Sarah with my nails, so I felt really let down. The quality simply did not last, and for a fresh set to start chipping and losing color after only a few days is unacceptable. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I think potential clients should know about my experience. I was extremely disappointed by both the quality of the work and the fact that I had to pay someone else to fix it right before an important birthday trip.
