I've been frequenting nail palace for years now! And my go to is Sovanna. She is super sweet and will fix anything you don't like or do her best to make you happy and doesn't make you feel guilty for asking her to change something. That is one of my pet peeve when you are paying your hard worked money for something and you ask for modifications or the service you are paying for and the merchant makes you feel guilty. They have a variety of colors and I always get my gel manicure here. It is $30. I have also gotten my eyebrows and legs waxed here and Sovanna makes it painless . Sometimes if you come on the weekend they will also have food and drinks. I frequently come to nail palace with my sister since the staff members are very friendly. I happened to be going to Disney World for spring break and saw some really cute designs and merged them together. I was worried they would not do it since it required a lot of time and would most likely be best with gel. Unfortunately for some reason whenever I do gel my fingers feel like they're burning so I am unable do it. Tammy had no problem with doing my design with regular polish!! She took her time with everything and made sure I liked the progress. I am so happy I came to nail palace before my trip because I was surprised with a proposal!! Le sigh, I guess all good things do eventually come to an end. I have been happily coming to Nail Palace for the occasional manicure and pedicure for a while now, but I think that today probably marks my final visit. I received what I can definitively say was one of the worst manicures I've ever received. From the hasty handling (nail shapes aren't even or level), sloppy polish application (it's all over my cuticles), and the fact that she "fixed" a missing patch by putting more polish OVER the top coat... well, that probably says it all. I have never been more eager to leave a nail place just so I can go home and re-do them myself. I know that a lot of this probably had to do with the technician herself vs. the salon as a whole, because I have had very good experiences here in the past. But unfortunately, I'm just super bummed about my manicure today and how the whole experience went. Nail Palace, it's been a fun ride. But unfortunately there are just too many nail salons across the great land of Northern VA, so I think it's looking like I'll be moving on. read more

This is my go-to place when I need a quick fix: hands or feet or both! They are a short drive away, and I can either just walk-in or call a few minutes prior to arriving. Everyone is friendly, they have TV's hanging in all areas. The one important thing always works for me: their chairs are nice and firm for the quick back massage. I stopped by because I remembered a patient recommending this location and I'm so glad I came. I did a walk in with my sister and they assisted us fairly quickly after we picked our colors. The place was clean and had a good amount of employees working. I got Tracy as my technician and she did an excellent job with my pedicure and gel manicure. Not to mention, the prices for a pedicure were so good! They do so much and the massage chairs made me not want to leave. My sister got a technician named "Sovana" and she was lovely. My sister has issues with her ingrown and this is the first time my sister was satisfied with her pedicure because her toe nails stopped hurting once Sovana worked her magic. I've had mani/pedi done in a lot of similar salons in CA and NY, but I never walked out fully satisfied with my nails - either the cuticles are not fully done, or the polish is not applied nearly, or it's just not a good experience overall. But at Nail Palace... everything is done right every time! I've done my nails with Van and Tracy, and both are great. First time I went I had my nails done (acrilyc and gel) by Savanna (sp?) she was very nice and did a wonderful job. She gets a 5 out of 5 stars :) When I went to get them refilled, however, the woman who did them was really rough (didn't catch her name) and dremelled my actual nail about four-five times (OUCH). Recently went to Golden Nails in Springfield... Had a terrible experience... This place will be my only place for sure. read more

Their services are mani / pedis both gel and acrylic nails, air brushing, waxing services, massage and facials. Their salon is clean and the Nail Palace team members are knowledgeable professionals. They have large screen TVs available so you can watch TV while having your nails done and massage chairs, that I call "thrones" to sit in during pedicures. The massage chairs are awesome and offer a variety of speeds and massage types that you can tailor to your personal preference. Nail Palace services are professional and competitively priced. What I don't like is that I have to pay the tip in cash, a big inconvenience for me because I don't typically carry real money. read more
