Extremely rude owner. Came in for my appt with my friend. He immediately complained about my friend cancelling last appt. I apologized for the last time as it was my fault. He didn't let it go. When he sat down to do our nails, she apologized for the cancellation and he decided to use my own words against me. I tried to make a joke of it and he flipped on me making it sound like I was the one who went off first. No. Your first words to me were complaints about your paying customers. Why would I have the attitude when I'm coming for a relaxing (or what was supposed to be) pedicure?!? So after he tried to gaslight me, I left. He was still spilling his venom as I left. So if you go, don't go to the owner. The other techs have been awesome and I'm sorry to my tech who got stuck in a bad situation, but I don't need to pay to be verbally assaulted. 11/23/2021 6PM: I was in a rush and needed a pedi for glampcation. I chose this place because it was convenient to my day. It is definitely a neighborhood nail spot and not a destination nail salon. If I had a time machine, I wouldn't have come in. This place is messy to me. The pedi tubs are unlined which is gross. I haven't soaked in an unlined tub in 5+ years. When she was working on my left toe, I flinched bec she was def about to cut too deep. I saved myself from a Potential Bleed Situation. Later she soaks a cotton ball and puts it under my right heel and I'm like... weird. She was trying to hide Official Bleed Situation. She cut my right heel. I've NEVER been cut during a pedicure. I'm up to date on my tetanus shot so I breathe. I text my physician assistant friend for medical advice which is Neosporin and tetanus shot. I'm silently upset and want the service to end and it does. I sat down without looking at the price listing. She charged me $25 and then I'm shocked. First I'm shocked that she charges me, but then I'm shocked again because I haven't paid $25 for a pedi in 5+ years. You definitely get what you pay for. I will never come back. read more

we went to get her nails off on a slow day there was no one in there and the lady sat us down and first cut the nails and then tried to rip them off... no remover or nothing and yes it hurt. after she saw it wasn't budging she soaked them (LIKE YOUR SUPPOSED TO DO) for 3 minutes and tried ripping them off again hurt so bad but we tried to trust the process. after she finished she didn't even get the all the glue off or do any after care for the nails just ripped them off and said we are done and to go to the front and pay. Great nail session with my mom. Laura gave her a nice square-ish shape with the French gel. She's normally more of a rounded nail person but told Laura to surprise her this time, and was extremely happy when we left. I had Lucy this time around and she was fab. I'm super duper picky when it comes to acrylics, not too thick and basically perfect shape (no matter the shape chosen). Lucy took her time to shape and checked to make sure the thickness was to my liking multiple times. I wasn't exactly sure what color I wanted when I got there, but she helped me pick a gorgeous lilac color which I'm super happy with. I was a walk-in and requested a removal every application of dip nails. When I walked in the place was dirty, and I should've left. I asked the technician how long does it normally take since this is my first time removing and having it reapplied. She replied that she did not know. I said that I just wanted to get an idea or timeframe and that I was not trying to hold her to finishing by certain time. She continue to say she didn't know and that she had another customer in 30 minutes. I thought it was strange that if this is a service that she provides on a regular basis, but she did not know the average timeframe it normally takes. I think there for time gather my things and left. do not go here if you want high-quality customer service and technicians that are able to answer your questions. 5 stars for many reasons: 1. I walked in w/ out an appointment right before Mother's Day. Although the place was slammed, they NICELY , and promptly saw me anyway. No rolling eyes, or crabby attitudes. A smile, and a welcome. 2. Despite being slammed, they did not rush thru my pedicure. They actually urge me to stay in the chair until my nails were done. And they did exactly as I asked. None of that "You're done- next! " feeling 3. Just the right amount of attention......... didn't make me feel ignored, but didn't have to make a ton of idle chit chat either. Kudos for that. I had brought a book, and was actually able to enjoy it while the chair massaged away. 4. Quality of the pedi- I am usually brutally hard on pedicures, usually managing to ruin them in a day or so. 3 days out- this one still looks good. My ugly feet might actually be presentable! 5. While feet soaked- I chatted it up w/ a few of my fellow chair denizens- and they seemed to be long timers. I like that- clients coming back repeatedly is the best compliment of all. 6. She's friendly, professional, kind and does exactly what you ask her to do :) I always call her to make an appointment (because she and everyone else is usually always very busy) and at times I may not always get the time that I want (I have a very strict schedule/availability), but Laura always tries to make it work and always gives me a call back which is very convenient for me. I usually go in for my fill in and pedicure, and she literally does EVERYTHING i ask for, if not more. One MAJOR thing I like, is that she actually keeps a very professional but friendly relationship with you, and actually talks to you about your well being and not talk to her co workers in their language (if you know what I mean). I've been to Envy nails to see Van (not sure about the spelling) for 3 pedicures so far on a recommendation from my 80 year old neighbor. Van is great! She is more interested in my personal life and family and remembers the details more than most any other nail technician I've had in the past... always friendly and does a great job with me.. spends lots of time making sure you are relaxed and that your feet look and feel great. I highly recommend her! Great price ($23) for a basic pedicure, too! 1 Drawback: They are still not using plastic liners and not sure about the cleanliness of the tools. I am particularly picky about the way my cuticles look and the way my nails are painted (not so much the shape) and she gets it perfect every single time without me even having to say anything. Her pedicures include 10 minute long foot massages (I have timed it multiple times to see if it was a fluke and it isn't). Love this place! First tried out this salon a month ago. Good service. The one thing I absolutely love is that they clean it from under the nails n in between. I had tried several other nail salons before, and none have this service. Plus the massage on the feet and hands were great. Today went back for second time, last min drop in after work. They close at 7 pm but were so kind to accommodate me at 630 (I totally understand if they rejected me, I was just trying my luck). Despite the late hours, I didn't feel rushed at all. I got the same good service, the same cleaning from under the nails and in between and the same strong massage. My only hope is that they will not change their service nor let the std drop. They are great for walk-ins which is the only way I operate. I don't make appointments. The staff is wonderful and know exactly what to do and have many regulars, including men. I have seen a man in their every time I go to get a manicure and a pedicure. The spa pedicure is so relaxing and I always just wish it to go on forever. They also do great waxing! I've been going to Lucy now for over 2 years and she is wonderful! She does such a great job on the gel manicure that you can barely ever tell when it grows out. Her pedicures are also wonderful but on occasion the nail polish has chipped. Not sure if it needs an extra coat or what causes it. I've gone other places in the past and no chipping. Lucy will clean your feet up well though. Always shaves enough off my feet and ensures ingrown nails are gone. Keep in mind, getting an ingrown out is not always painless but it's better than having a Dr cut it out! Prices are great! $53 for regular pedi and gel manicure. Highly recommend! Just make an appointment ahead of time. They do book up fast and get busy. I've had to go elsewhere on occasion because I couldn't get in. read more
