I just couldn't let it go guys, i went to do my nails 3 weeks ago i called first to ask about prices i told her i want my toes and hand nails done she sait total of $75 i said ok, i had to go a bit late but they kept calling me every 5 minutes like 6 times i was so nervous that i went to wrong location, when i get there she asked (the lady working there) if you want to clean your feet with brush u need to pay $5 more i was like wth !! She put my feet in the hot water for like 30 seconds then start working on them already i called for the manager she was nice though they are speaking in vitnamese so idk.. before she finished my first feet she stopped the massage chair i told her why ? She said u want it on pay more $5 i almost lose it there and i swear guys she put one layer of gel polish on my toes i asked her u should do it twice right she said .. u know what she said right? $5 more dollars oh my god if you could feel how i felt that day it was too much to take then the damn color I picked the one with glossy red she said no u need the usual color because the glossy is $5 more dollars i told her im not forgetting your tip so don't keep saying that and of course the work was so fast my big toe still hurts and of course i didn't do my hand nails i wouldn't risk it .. i looked at my feet this morning and all the gel go already the color so faint and my nails hurting so much i would give this place 1 star for the manager bcs she looks like she is already tired of her employees That's all guys read more

Overdue for an update! First of all I've been here a few times since my initial review 2 yrs ago. Trinh and Tammy are amazing! Always professional and good with light convo. Yesterday I came in after a year and some change (you know COVID) and they had 6 techs! They rearranged the area a bit, but it was still warm and inviting. i started going here frequently for almost a year. every single technician at this salon has done a great job on my nails. they're all very detailed and the result is always beautiful! i have included photos of me trying out acrylic and dip powder nails. i love the color from the acrylics but the dip powder looks closer to natural nails and is less damaging according to the technician. na did my full sets both times and she did such an amazing job!! highly recommend this place. read more

I went to this salon a few days ago with my kid and requested gel mani. They took 30 mins to finish my mani. When i went home and realized all the corners of nails were uneven painted. Some fingers got painted on the cuticles and the nails starting to peel off after one day. The price point was expensive for kids and at the same time they could not even paint. My kid had gel mani and ped And it was $70 for her. I wouldnt mind to pay that much for my kid if the mani and ped are evenly painted but they were really sloppy. I could do a better job at home. I do not recommend this place, save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I traveled from MD with my daughter today to get a manicure pedicure. I prefer coming here because Trihn is very customer oriented and gives great pedicures. They use salts that help my aching legs and feet. Also, they are clean and sanitary so that I don't have to worry about getting foot or nail infections from dirty utensils. They have WiFi too. This is my favourite nail salon so far. I found this gem place a year ago and I am so happy that I found. I've been going there for a year now. Trinh is my favourite one and I love her customer service and patience. Also she is very sweet, nice, and very charming lady. She treat her customers with respectful manners. I want to like this place. The staff is kind and seem to want to do a good job, but the work is subpar. I gave this place three chances because I really do want to like it. At my first two two appointments I had acrylics done. I had two different techs, the first left a questionable gap so I requested the owner be my tech for my next appointment but upon my arrival told me she didn't do acrylics so I could do something else or be with someone else. That was a mistake since the tech for my second appointment left really large gaps showing my natural nail at the bottom (see my photo!) and they didn't clean up the cuticles at all so the finished product looked at least a week old immediately. The price also was a few dollars more than posted for no explicable reason (no coffin or stiletto shape, no art, etc). I got fussed at for wanting to leave a tip on a card. Next time I will just not tip then if I forget cash at home. At least my regular pedicure from my first appointment stayed out for awhile, it was well painted. For my third appointment I lowered my expectations and decided to just get a spa pedi to relax before a long drive to the beach tomorrow. I was excited to get a male tech thinking that would mean a good strong massage, but I didn't really get more than 90 seconds of massage. He went through the motions of a spa pedi, paraffin, hot towels, scrub, lotion, "massage" but it was all very rushed and abrupt feeling. The paraffin was left on for less than a minute on my first foot, then for about 2 mins on my other foot while he did a "massage" on the leg of the first paraffin foot. What do I have to do to get a leg and foot massage at a nail salon!?!? Why is it so hard! I paid the premium price for the spa option ($38 before tip - ridiculous for what I got) because I'm always disappointed whenever I go that I get a 2 minute rub and that's it. So this time I ponied up and I still got a paltry 90 second rub - not with lotion and not with the exfoliant. He also attacked my cuticles like they were his mortal enemy. My feet are constantly babied, coconut oil, cuticle maintenance, trimming. I don't have calluses or funk. There's nothing big to do on my feet, I just want to relax, stop mangling my cuticles please!!! Before I moved from DC to Alexandria the salon on my street would set a timer and do 15 mins of massage for spa pedis!!! I never splurged but I should have. I need a place in Alexandria/Annandale that does this -- DM me if you know if one. I wish I had a better review because like I said the people seem to want to do a good job and are prompt with appointments. But the mysterious price hikes and crappy acrylic work, lousy spa pedi, and painful aggressive cuticle cutting is making this a regretful no go. read more

Ive been here a few times. The owner is very nice and friendly and always takes her time to make sure you are comfortable and satisfied with the service. They offer beverages and cookies on the house. They also throw in a salt leg massage when you get your pedicure which is usually an extra charge at other nail salons. I've had about three different techs now including the owner and they all do a great job and pay attention to detail. My pedicures will last me about a month. read more

Update: Only see Tammy or Trinh (owner). Everyone wants Tammy when they come in and there's a reason. The others aren't good. I've had two bad experiences with Lisa. Messy. Paint all over my cuticles. From now on I will only go by appointment. I'm starting with 3 stars because it was good, but I have a chip already on my toe and usually pedis last FOREVER. that said, I'm definitely going back to give a second shot. I got the spa pedicure which was AMAZING. Really long, relaxing service. I will be back. I don't like their chairs much (not a very strong massage) but There's a scrub, hot towels, paraffin, massage and hot stone massage. Lordy. Right now they are doing a special for a regular mani with spa pedi so I did that knowing that regular manis never last at all for me. But free! It's actually held up fairly well except one finger. But like I said I'm too hard on my nails for regular manis so I'm actually fairly impressed. They also have a loyalty card so I will def go back for that pedicure.
