Used to be a regular here every 2 weeks. I always made an appointment. However, my last visit led me to decide to never return. I can not in clear conscious give my money to them knowing how intentionally rude and disrespectful they were. Despite having an appointment I waited a half hour to be acknowledged by the desk staff. They did however acknowledge all the other patrons coming in. It took 30 minutes before I was seated in a pedi chair. Then once seated I was made to wait another 45 minutes before serviced. When I asked the desk why I had been there an hour and had not yet been helped they didn't provide any explanation. Then I noticed the tech that I was told would be helping me had just taken 2 walk-ins. If they are comfortable disregarding booked reservations, and moving walk-in ahead of appointments with no acknowledgement or explanation then I am comfortable never allowing them to see another penny from me. read more

This was a bad experience, which makes me sad. I have no luck with salons out here. I came here as a walk in so I can't recall the name of the nail tech. The paint job wasn't bad but she cut my cuticles hard three times causing me to bleed. I've never ever been cut before...like ever. She offered soda but didn't ask what kind of pedicure I wanted. I got the most basic one they had. Massage was decent but I somehow got scratched in between my toes?!? I don't know how that's even possible, I just know it hurt and a visible scar appeared a couple days later. I'm sorry I won't be returning here. Look somewhere else. read more

I have to update this review because Nails for You has become my GO TO salon and I will literally never go anywhere else. The new location is beautiful: spacious, clean, light, and roomy. The front desk staff are consistently kind, helpful, and genuinely want to know whether you were happy with your experience (I have had several situations where I've had to reschedule last minute, have needed a quick fix, etc.) and they have never been anything but accommodating. Finally - Syna is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. My nails have never lasted longer: she is very talented and takes such care with all her treatments. This has been Nails For You for many years, and I'm not sure if it's changed hands. I had a basic pedicure on Wednesday and Ashley cut the cuticle on a big toe, there was blood. I understand that can happen. It was obvious, there was blood. She looked at it, wiped the blood away, and kept on working. It's Friday, and my toe still hurts. I started getting my nails done with Loann since Dec of 2021, and after our first appointment together, I knew I found my go-to girl. Unlike many of the other technicians out there, Loann is super attentive, detail oriented, and truly listens to what you ask for. She offers great advice for color selections, maintenance/care, and gives thoughtful recommendations based on your style. When I started going to the salon again, I had a goal of growing out long natural nails. We started with tips and a few months later, she helped me make that happen using SNS dipping powder. I also switched from square to round and now almond shaped nails, thanks to Loann. After tons of trial and error at other salons and hit or miss experiences with unfamiliar technicians, I am so blessed I found my home at Nails For You with Loann. She is so kind and talented, and her skills are truly unmatched. The pictures I've attached don't even do her work justice! After several overpriced and disappointing appointments around Arlington, a good friend of mine recommended Nails For You and I haven't looked back since. SNS full sets, standard pedicures, SNS refills, and toe polish changes--NFY will hold you down. I highly suggest you make an appointment on a weekday with Loann or Syna. They each do SNS a little differently but they take their time, are super precise, gentle and have their pros. Loann will leave my nails a little thicker because she knows I use my hands a lot at work, but Syna will buff down the insides of my nail edges which is also a nice touch. Thanks to the work done at NFY my natural nails have gotten stronger and longer, while my manicures last for 3 weeks now rather than one week! read more

Very welcoming staff and clean, bright salon. Hygiene in a nail salon is very important to me so I was glad to see the nail techs used clean instruments from sealed pouches for each client and sanitized the foot-baths after each use, to include removing the drain stopper after each person and placing it into a tub of sanitizer. My nail tech, Mimi, was engaging and conscientious and gave me a wonderful foot massage as well as a nice pedicure. The chairs were comfortable. The prices are reasonable. Now, This is my secondary nail salon as my nail tech in Tysons was out of town. The man who checks women in is not friendly and not Inviting at all!!!!! I remember now why I don't go here regularly ! My go-to nail salon closed a few years ago, and since then I've been looking for a new place I can rely on. I think Nails For You is it. It's tucked away behind the Home Depot off Route 50, in a small strip of stores that includes a US Post Office and a Chinese restaurant. You can also access it from Leesburg Pike. It's clean, the employees are friendly and efficient, there's lots of parking, and they really stick to scheduling appointments. I've gotten both gel manicures and regular pedicures here. I've been happy with the services every time. The salon has a good selection of colors, including lots of bottles of OPI, which I'm partial to. You can walk in, but I'd recommend making a reservation, even on short notice. There seems to be one guy who's usually staffing the front and making the reservations. He is realistic about when they can fit you in. The salon isn't super fancy, but it seems well-maintained and clean. The biggest issue is that the drying area at the front is pretty small, and also functions as a waiting area. The pedicure chairs are perfectly comfortable. And there are several areas for manicures. It's not a huge salon, which is why it's good to make a reservation. The manicurists do the most to make sure their clients are happy with their polish. Though keep in mind that I've gotten pretty basic services. But that's all I'm looking for--solid mani/pedi at a competitive price at a place where I can make an appointment with relatively little hassle. read more

Idk how this place has so many good reviews... I guess when you pay for SNS they take better care of you.. I wanted a classic French because I was going somewhere that weekend and I don't need to pay for anything too expensive as I can't have long nails at work anyway. A basic French involves base coat, a pink or nude polish, a color for the tips, and a top coat. She did a base coat for me and drew white tips. I thought oh okay maybe she's going to add the pink polish after (I know some people do that?) but then she just finished it there. It looked so bad and unfinished I went home and added pink polish myself. Gave them 2 stars because at least she was nice. read more

From the start of the appointment, my cousin had shown an image of what she wanted on her nails for her manicure and was told that it could be done. We went about our pedicures which were ok. Once she sat for her manicure, she sat there for 30 minutes while her nail tech terribly recreated an ombré/aura nail on her set. It was so bad that even the tech gave up and just offered to do French. Not only did she waste the time, but she still charged her the $10 extra for a service she didn't even originally request. I understand being frustrated with being unable to fulfill a request, but the French was messy. I'm visiting from out of town, and I WISH we had prices like this in Chicago for the quality of the work done!! I opted for the Champagne Rose Spa Pedicure, and it was amazing. All the technicians are trained professionals, but my favorite technician is SYNA! Syna always takes your needs into account and is willing to work with you to make sure you are 100% happy with your nails. The amount of care she puts into your nails really shows. My nails last so long! I used to do shellac but switched to SNS. I RECOMMEND SNS. As a waitress that constantly washes her hands and lifts heavy, my nails still do not budge. I feel like I have been to every nail salon in Northern Virginia but I always go back here to Nails For You. The salon is clean, professional, and cozy. Was next door at Padaek for lunch and desperately needed a fill... With the weather being cold , gray and rainy saw Nails for You and decided to stop in and see if they had time for a fill. I was greeted by the front desk and checked in immediately. Windy my tech asked if I selected a color. I told her I was looking for something natural so she found an OPI shade I was happy with and she began on my nails. She asked if I would like a beverage but I declined since I was full of soup and water from next door Windy was super gentle in removing the old gel polish and took her time when filing down the old acrylic. I was genuinely impressed with how gentle she was using the Dremel... My usual nail tech has been a bit rushed lately and has cut me the last few times ,... I think this may be my new nail place. Windy checked in and asked if I would like my nails shorter or keep the length, and consulted on shape. Throughout the process she was very friendly and she seemed to take pride in her work and would constantly look at my nail under the light in various ways to make sure it looked good. When it came time for the polish she noted the original polish selected showed the line underneath from where the original acrylic meets the new acrylic and suggested a couple new OPI gel shades in a pink hue but still keeping to the natural color I was looking for. She checked after the first coat if I liked the color and when I was happy proceeded with two coats. She checked in to see if I wanted a third coat to darken it a little more but I was happy with the way it looked after two. I love my nails and Windy did an amazing job. read more

The staff is super nice and accommodating. I didn't bring flip flops and I guess my toes weren't dry when I left even though they checked them. They got messed up but they told me to come back the following day and they fixed them for me fast without any additional cost. Great attitude and service! BLUF: This salon is entirely dependent on the nail tech you go to. I go to Tracy whom I love. She sits next to Nancy who KILLS it with modern nail designs. Either of these two ladies will treat you well. I also used to go to Ravenna but she was not my fav. I would pop in for walk ins until I found a tech I enjoyed. A pretty no frills salon but cheaper than my past go-tos of MINT Nail Lounge in Mosaic and Metropolitan Nails in Arlington. I pretty much exclusively get SNS on my natural nails (they have real SNS powder and curing products as well as OPI and Kiara Sky but I ALWAYS get SNS powder and have no problems). They don't charge additional for shaping (I get coffin) and I can get a manicure and a spa pedicure for less than $90. I am satisfied with my service, I am treated to a beverage every time and Tracy takes her time with me. She dips my nails so that the base is more flush with the cuticle (as opposed to a large wad of thickness at the base) creating a more natural look and when my nails grow out they never snag my hair. I love her technique! I have to make appointments with Tracy because she gets booked up. It's also super easy to get to Falls Church from Arlington even during rush hour because 50 doesn't get too backed up too often so I am not a slave to packing everything into weekends. read more
