So I go in and ask how long would it be until someone could start a pedicure. I'm told it will be only five minutes and I'm next. She even points at the woman who she says is, "finishing up". I take a seat and watch the clock, ten minutes go by. I ask again, for them to just let me know realistically how long. She tells me oh it will be just five more minutes your next. Another 8 minutes go by and the woman who is suppose to come to me, goes to a woman at the end of the seats who is also waiting. I speak up and say, "excuse me, how could this have been five minutes when there is someone else who hasn't even started yet?" Three employees looking at each other, speaking their language. No apology, no explanation. They just thought I would sit there for 45 minutes worth of 5 more minutes. I get up and I leave. Still no apology or anything is said to me. I would have been MORE THAN HAPPY TO shop around and come back IF THEY WERE HONEST. Instead I sat staring at people for 20 minutes and was expected to sit thru 30 more mins. Ridiculous read more

This is by far the worst eyebrow experience of my entire life. I showed the lady a clear photo of exactly what I wanted, and she didn't even bother to look at it. She was rushing from the second I sat down, completely careless, and acting like she had no idea what she was doing. She totally destroyed my right eyebrow -- cleaned it off almost completely. I was left sitting there shocked and furious. I have a flight tomorrow and now I have to travel with one eyebrow thanks to her complete lack of professionalism. This place has got to be one of the worst nail salons in northern Virginia, starting off with Emily, she rushed the whole pedicure process and when I told her I didn't like the color she proceeded to force the color on me instead of changing it. When I became visibly irritated she began shouting at me, not only that but this salon lacks class, cleanliness, and most importantly service. You step into this salon and you will hear all the workers yelling across the salon to communicate in their own language, they don't offer any music to help you relax or anything, all you hear is the agitating screams of the workers lord knows what they are saying about you. Not only that but the second I stepped into the salon to sit down and get my hands done there was a literal sandal in the table?! Disgusting !!! Do better! Don't come to this salon. read more

I have been a customer here for nearly eight years and can't take the rudeness anymore. Emily is horrible. Completely uncouth and lacks manners. If you have to go here, choose her sister Christine of anybody else. Christine is nice. All the poor workers there are afraid to speak up. I got a gel manicure and it came out perfect - Christine was kind, quick and did a great job! It's not a fancy place - the gel UV lamps felt a little grimy and could use a wash, it is a bit cluttered inside but overall I walked out with a beautiful manicure for a reasonable cost. read more

My experience was terrible. Very poor customer service. The worker Emily did a great job in May of 2024, with the exception of causing my toe to bleed. When I asked to schedule an appointment with her the next month, she told me to call back. I called no one answered. I drove from one city to Alexandria, VA to receive the customer service on June 17, 2024. At this time services from worker Emily were requested. I was told to wait. No problem. I agreed. Then an older woman was called in and assigned to me. Emily started to work on another client. I asked Emily why would she not service me. Emily lied and said ,"I am not Emily and have only been in the store 2 days" During the May visit Emily spent an hour on my feet and a second hour on my hands. I was highly impressed.. I have had my nails done in their shop three months in a row. During my June visit, The older lady was asked her name. Her response was "Emily". Then proceeded to proceeded to say the young lady calls herself Emily when the work on her arms is too strenuous. The old lady did a poor job. My pedicure and manicure costs 95.00. It was done on Monday, June 17. By Wednesday, June 19, the polish had messed up because she put in too many layers on my foot. I was totally unsatisfied with my service. Two other people stormed out due to being racially discriminated against. A worker from a furniture store told me they were racist as well. read more

TNS is only about 2 months new, but I enjoyed my service here and could see myself coming back. The salon is small but well-decorated and clean. You can tell they're still finishing the set-up process but it doesn't affect the service. My pedicure was quick and very relaxing. I got off work needed my nails done BADLY from the nightmare nail experience I had from last week. Cathy saves the day. I was driving around looking for a nail salon and came across this shop. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. There was a little wait but nothing too extreme. The color select was great. They do pretty much everything from nails waxing lashes to massages. They have complementary snacks and FREE WiFi. Cathy was very approachable. Talkative which is always a good thing. She basically had to remove the overlaying from most of my nails. An she ASKED first instead of just doing like most places in this area I have experienced. She saved my length where I thought I was gonna have to cut down all my nails. The cost was extremely reasonable. I gave Cathy a 8.00 tip but her work is worth more. I have to share with her that I gave her 8.00 today because the number 8 symbolizes NEW BEGINNINGS. This use to be my go to place up until yesterday. My mother and I decided to go for a pedicure and everything was fine up until the nail technician who was working on my mom's pedicure had said something in Vietnamese to cause the lady who was working on my nails to stare at my mother's feet and start laughing. It made my mother feel very uncomfortable. It got to the point where my nail technician was looking over at my mother's nails more than mine. It got unprofessional when my mother's nail technician made a gesture towards my mother's feet as if it was hard to cut her nails and they started laughing again. In addition, she cut my mom's cuticles to the point where they started bleeding. Today it looks infected. After it became intolerable, my mother started recording. Today we showed one of our Vietnamese friends the video and they did confirm that they were making fun of my mother's feet. You would think one would go to a nail salon to get their feet fixed/done and the employees would be mature and professional about it. People don't go get pedicures if they have "Perfect Feet." This place is incredibly unprofessional. Especially if you don't have "perfect" feet to begin with. They will harass and talk about you in Vietnamese. Please reconsider before going to this place because no one deserves to go through the embarrassment my mother did the other day. read more

I've never had a better nail salon to go to. All of the technicians are good and fast, best pedicures in the area, and the best nails. I've been going to them since they opened up me and my mom love the salon. Worth every penny and they are busy to prove otherwise. You may have to wait but not long it's worth it. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon and if i could give them negative stars i absolutely would. When I went there it was pure chaos. CHAOS.. it's not worth the 20% deal they have going on. There were kids running around everywhere, the nail technicians were hopping around to different people simultaneously which I found to be unsanitary. It was so disorganized as far as taking care of clients that were already there and helping the new ones that were walking in the door. If there's a client that you're working on, it's not professional to leave in the MIDDLE of a pedicure to go work on the other client. The technicians weren't friendly at all and it had to have been the least relaxing nail experience of LIFE. No one was able to help me after my pedicure so I ended up soaking my acrylic nails off for about 45 min which is entirely too long. Once someone finally helped me, i proceeded to get a gel manicure. The manicure looked decent until not even 12 hours after my manicure I noticed the gel starting to crack on my nails and the polish started to flake off. I've been getting gel nails for YEARS and this has never happened. I went back the next day for them to fix it and she took off my gel nail polish with pliers which was odd and painful!! I left the nail salon and the next day, you guessed it, the polish flakes off AGAIN. It looked absolutely horrendous. I ended up going to a different salon and had them take it off because I didn't want to step foot in that establishment. I will never go back. Please take head and go somewhere else. So I really didn't want to write a three star review but the last few times I have been here have not been great. The one person who never messes up my nails is Chaou(no idea how to spell it, Sorry ...) but its not always easy to set up an appointment every time with that person since they are pretty good and always booked. So anyways, this review will be for the other times i've been serviced by different nail techs. Environment: I really like the location of this nail spa because it is in a plaza with a variety of shops. Parking is never an issue and always free, so thats another plus. If you're a walk in and they tell you to wait 20-30 minutes it helps that there is a lot nearby that you can do to kill time. The actual nail salon is small but i personally like the effort they've put into decorating it and making it modern. Price: if you're new you get a discount otherwise prices are pretty average for the area. Service: my main issue with the service here is the inconsistency. There is no one regimen nail techs follow. Sometimes I'll get a hot towel and lotion for my hands, sometimes I won't. It gets a little frustrating when you can sense the service being rushed or carelessly carried out. I attached photos so you can see the dry accetone left on my hands and the lumps in the gel polish. Some days there is relaxing music playing, other days there is just not. I really wanted to keep coming back because of how good my initial experience with one nail tech was but I'd rather find somewhere that I can trust to have consisten positive experiences read more

Let me preface by saying that I have never written a review! Came here yesterday for a soak-off and a new gel set. I asked for a French tip style. Before she started painting my nails I told her that she needed to do a nude coat first because the acrylic looked gray and didn't match my skin tone. She replied, "No we don't do it like that because it will look bulky". Nevertheless, she began to paint and when she finished I told her I did not like it nor was it what I asked for because the powder didn't match my skin tone. She gave me an attitude... She and ended up changing the color after realizing I wasn't going to leave the salon for a service I didn't like. Aside from that the nail is bulky and crooked. When she was adding the acrylic pearls the consistency was so liquid and dropping all over the napkin. Not worth the $70 I paid and you can find nail techs that know what they are doing elsewhere. read more

I came here because I was in need of a pedicure before going on a weekend getaway. I was hesitant to come because the reviews seem to be hit or miss; and I was afraid I was going to experience a bad service. My pedicure with Sophia was great. I had ingrowns on both big toes and she patiently worked at removing them. Why the three star review? Because it took over 15 minutes for someone to acknowledge me and the service among clients seems mixed. Some got offered something to drink, others did not. (I was not.) The other star deduction is because I had gems on my toes from a previous pedicure and another person removed them since Sophia could not. RIGHT AFTER SHE TOUCHED MY TOES SHE RETURNED TO HER OWN CLIENT WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS...A CLIENT SHE WAS CONDUCTING A LASH EXTENSION APPLICATION ON. THAT IS DISGUSTING AND UNSANITARY. This salon is terrible! I had an appointment and waited 45 minutes! The technicians were moving from one client to another...that's right, helping one person while simultaneously doing someone else's nails. I paid $50 for an SNS that fell off after less than one week. My SNS usually lasts 3 weeks. I reached out to the salon to find some resolution to my issue and I never heard back. Only one day later my nail broke (acrylic) and my friends gel polish chipped like crazy! It was unbelievable how bad it was again only after ONE DAY!! She went back for them to fix it and two days later the same thing only worse! What a total waste of money! Today I finally went back to get the nail fixed and another nightmare! Not only did I have to wait an hour the lady Emily kept going between me and a pedicure which is so unsanitary!!! She would clip the girls toe nails with NO glove to come and do my nails!! He wouldn't do a refill on my mom and kept pressuring to get a brand new set when she didn't need one.
