I've been coming to Lalla Skincare for Brazilian sugaring since 2019, and it is always worth the 30-minute drive. Everyone is so warm and welcoming, including Lalla herself. She has great attention to detail, and the space is always clean, relaxing, and comfortable. Before going to Lalla, I dealt with a lot of ingrowns and discoloration, but her technique is amazing. She is quick, thorough, and always leaves my skin in great shape. I also love purchasing the packages because they offer a slight discount on repeat services. Thank you, Lalla and team, for always being so amazing! read more

Ladies... this is the absolute best place to go for waxing and facials. I've been coming here for years and the staff always take very good care of me. The parking is easy and the service can't be beat! My go to is the Brazilian sugaring. I recommend buying a package to get the best price. The facials are also excellent and will leave your skin glowing! I need to schedule another one soon. Lala, Mary and all the staff are the best! I highly recommend Lalla Skincare! read more

Lalla Skincare is the only place I go to for waxing. This place is a hidden gem, tucked away in a residential area in Arlington, which adds to the peacefulness of the experience. There are two parking spots out front, but I have never had an issue being able to park there. If the tiny parking lot were full, it's easy to find street parking nearby. I also appreciate that this is a women-only spa, overall it feels very private and safe. I've started booking appointments only with Maryam, as I appreciate her attention to detail and her kind, considerate approach to treatments. I haven't had other treatments here beyond facials and waxing so can't speak to the massages, etc., but I've been very pleased with these services for the last few years. read more

I have been coming to Lalla for several years and I won't go anywhere else. I get sugaring with Lynn and she is the utmost professional and such a kind woman. The sugaring is gentle but thorough and she is meticulous. She is so caring about you overall and lovely to talk to, she puts you at ease. Hesna owns the spa and she is a delight. She cares about you and your experience. The spa is spotless, comforting, and welcoming. Book now and Go to Lalla Skincare! read more

This is the only place I go to for my waxing needs. The staff is always so warm, and inviting. The space is lovely, very clean, and very relaxing. I usually get my wax done by the owner Lalla, however I have had services done by other staff members, and they all do a great job. You are in great, capable, hands no matter who you go to. Everyone is skilled and makes sure you are comfortable, and will go as slowly or as quickly as you'd like. I drive from DC to Arlington because I'm so happy with their services, I wouldn't go anywhere else. I highly recommend you check them out! They offer many spa services, (non-toxic mani and pedis, body wraps, lymphatic massages, facials, etc) so there is something for everyone. Very reasonable prices as well. read more

I have to shout out the person who does my surgaring, Lynn, because she is truly amazing at what she does! Her sugaring technique is chef's kiss -- super gentle, thorough, and she really takes her time to make sure everything is perfect. What I appreciate most is her attention to detail. After the sugaring is done, she will ask if it's okay to switch over to hard wax or tweezing to make sure everything is perfect. And she makes good product recommendations. Nothing ever feels rushed, and she makes the whole experience so comfortable and easy. You can tell she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. I also really enjoy that we can talk about life and our cats while the service is happening. This makes things way more comfortable. If you're looking for someone who provides consistently fantastic service and really gives great attention to detail, Lynn is it. Highly recommend! read more

I've been coming here since 2019 and I absolutely love the services and employees. Lalla has such great energy and is one of the kindest people I've ever met. Everyone that works at this studio is exceptional at what they do and makes you feel so comfortable, like you're with family. I would never go anywhere else. Thank you Lalla and team! read more

How have I not written a review for Lalla before? I've been going to her for at least 10 years and she is amazing. I'd tried lots of places for last tinting and brow tinting, and she is the only one who gets the tinting to last for nearly a month. She also does a great brow lamination (and can make it look vey natural if that's what you want). She is really good at listening to what you want and adjusting accordingly, and she's a perfectionist, which I love; she pays attention to the smallest details to get it right. She also does amazing, incredibly relaxing facials. On top of all that, she's a lovely person and I always feel calm and welcomed in her space! I can't recommend her highly enough. read more

I've been going to Mary at Lalla Skincare since my VERY FIRST sugaring experience in 2019 (wow, time goes by fast), and I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else! From day one, she made me feel completely comfortable, informed, and at ease. Mary is incredibly kind, professional, and truly skilled at what she does. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and takes pride in her work. If you're considering sugaring or looking for someone you can trust long-term, I highly recommend Mary read more

Sugaring wax and could not have been easier. Lynn is kind and efficient and I am now very ready for swimsuit season. I have been coming here for years - love the privacy and the vibe. Tucked in a residential area there is parking and a great staff. They have just started expanding their services to nail care so I will be back soon to try all. read more

What a fabulous experience! To say I was truly dreading the pain of a Brazilian wax would be an understatement. But from the first moment, Lalla put me at ease. The sugaring was far less painful than any wax I've had before and Lalla was calm, kind, reassuring and -- most importantly, kept my mind on good conversation. I am looking forward to returning to Lalla soon, making this part of my self-care routine. read more

Lallaskincare is an amazing oasis: a place to feel beautiful, relaxed and refreshed. Everyone there is talented at what they do and they all genuinely care about providing top tier services to their clients. I have been going there for over a decade and am always recommending them to anyone near Arlington. More recently, I have also been enjoying their organic, non-toxic mani/pedi services, which Shu, the nail technician is excellent with. I always leave feeling renewed and my nails look beautiful. I couldn't recommend Lallaskincare more! read more

This was my first time here so I was nervous trying Lillian but I'm SOOOO GLAD, I did. She was SO funny, professional and provided great service. I LOVED her! She is officially my girl lol I had the honor of meeting Lalla. She has the purest soul and I loved that I got to meet and converse with her. She offered to make me a custom scrub to accommodate my coconut allergy and had a huge selection of products that I could use, which is rare because everything has coconut in it nowadays! Meeting her and Lillian was definitely the highlight of my day. Would 100% recommend. read more

I've been going to Lalla for several years. She and her team are the only ones I trust for my waxes. Super quick, super painless. They do it all!! Bioslimming (amazing before a trip), eyebrows, massages, and even a Turkish Bath. 10/10. read more

They provide excellent services. Lalla and her staff care about their clients and the services they provide are top of the line. Over the 10 years coming here, I have done facials, waxing and massages and now have also done a mani and pedi and have never had a complaint read more

This place deserves 10 stars! Everybody that works here is so sweet and professional. They all go above and beyond for all of their clients. I've been seeing Lynn for several years and never have had a bad experience. She is the besttttt! Each appointment is entirely dedicated to me, and it never feels rushed. I make the hour-and-a-half drive every single month just for their services. They are so worth the drive, time, and investment! read more

I had the Moroccan Hamam at Lalla Skincare yesterday and it was truly one of the best spa experiences I've ever had. I'm used to Korean spas, but this was on a whole different level. The warmth, steam, and traditional exfoliation made the entire ritual feel both luxurious and authentic. The esthetician took her time, made me feel comfortable, and the results were insane!!! My skin was so soft, smooth, and glowing. I left feeling lighter, relaxed, and completely refreshed. If you're looking for a real self-care experience, this is the one. I'm already planning my next visit! read more

I've been coming for years and do not trust anyone else with my eyebrows! Lillian is the best and I always look forward to my appointments!

I have been coming here for several years now and fully recommend you book with Lynn Y!! She's so good at waxing, does not rush, super professional, and you leave feeling 100% satisfied every single time. I've been coming to Lalla specifically to book with Lynn, because I've gone to other salons in the past and have always compared their work to hers, but no one can beat it! Her attention to detail 10/10! read more

First time client- I'll definitely be back! Had my appt for a wax with Lynn Y and she was a total professional! I parked on the street (limited parking available outside shop but I parked in the street, like most Arlington places). Walk up the stairs and Lynn was waiting for me. 15 minutes later I had paid and was out the door. Very clean, very professional, pricing is consistent with what I've paid elsewhere. Easy to book online. I'll be back! read more

I've been visiting Lalla for years--her prices are very good, she's always lovely and she does great work!

Let me sing Khadija's praises. She gave me one of the least painful, yet utterly thorough waxes I've ever had. I'd booked a hard wax but after working on me, she did the hard wax/sugaring combo due to my skin. Legit tho, I'm a believer. This is gonna be my go to from now on. $50 for a Brazilian - excellent service, thorough and clean - what's not to love??? read more

I have been on heavy quarantine for most of this pandemic, but I just had to leave this review! I've been coming to Lalla for years, and have failed at doing my due diligence as a Yelper and CONSISTENTLY SATISFIED client. Why the sudden urgency? This visit I came to see Lalla at 9 months pregnant and she took such good care of me (as she's always done!). Lalla is amazing!!!! She kept me calm, comfortable, and in minimal pain during the 15 minute process. I was expecting to be in more pain than I was, given that I was pregnant, but it didn't feel any different than normal. In spite of this pandemic, the facility was clean, and they are taking all the necessary precautions including temperature checks, wellness questionnaire, sanitizing, etc. I felt perfectly at ease. I cannot thank Lalla enough for always taking care of me! Great conversation, great prices, great service. What more could you ask for? read more

My friend recommended this place. Sadaf was very knowledgeable and she was great! Easy parking.

I've been coming to see Lalla and the team since I moved to the area in late 2021. They are professional, fast, considerate, gentle, warm... the list goes on. I even continued my appointments throughout my pregnancy. Now I live in Maryland and make the trip to see Lalla because she and her team are simply the best. An amazing company for women, by women! Love it so much. read more

Services were great! Sugar Brazilian here went so great and I love the technique used. Will be back and suggesting to friends!

Everyone at Lallaskincare has provided great service! Booking appointments online is easy, parking is right out front of the entrance, and the appointments always run on time! Appointments run quick but are very thorough. Pro tip - bring cash for your trip! They do accept digital payments for services, though. read more

With so many positive reviews, I had to give Lallaskincare a shot. I arrived on time (got there earlier but took some time to find parking, please note that it is very limited). I waited for a bit longer than expected to start my appointment, which worried me initially, but Kadija did a great job and quelled all my worries! She was kind, thorough, and meticulous, not to mention very clean. All the rave reviews don't lie! I will DEFINITELY be back! read more

I have a beach trip coming up in a few days & decided to get a wax for the 2nd time ever. The first time went decent but i decided never again. I figured let me give it a chance. To stop myself from bailing out, i got on Groupon! I found this awesome deal for $31 to get a Brazilian wax/sugaring. I booked my appt & they had plenty of time slots. Pulling up to the location and finding it, can be difficult. I had to call & confirm. Parking is not provided so park in the neighborhood or in the mexican food spot slots(risk getting towed) My technician was Mary, very sweet older woman. Keep me cool and collected through out. She explained the difference between wax & sugaring. As time progresses I'll be able to do sugaring more often. Today we did a combo of two. Wax initially and sugaring to touch up. Overall i think I'll return!! Glad Groupon found me a great technician & locat read more

Just had the most thorough & quick wax ever! Normally I'm jumping & in pain, but Kay made me feel very comfortable & relaxed! She also made sure she did not miss a spot! Next time I'm in town I'll def be rebooking! Highly recommended read more

I've gone here twice now. I'd start by saying that I'm extremely sensitive and I flinch a lot. I first went to Kay but her method just didn't work for me. I recently tried Mary, she was extremely sweet, understanding and worked with me. I'm comfortable coming here and the prices are good too. Also I had a moment when I called the office and nobody answered. A few minutes later I received a call from Lalla and she scheduled by appointment. I found that to be a nice touch. P.s. Khadijah no longer works here last I heard read more

So one day I'm on Groupon looking for ways to get a decently priced Brazilian wax and I stumble upon this place...it has good reviews so I'm like, "why not?!" So anyway, I arrive at the salon and I go up to the front desk to announce that I have arrived from my appointment and I go to give the receptionist my voucher and she tells me that I should probably wait until after the wax to use my voucher, apparently a lot of women don't make it through the entire session. I must've had a look on my face because the receptionist asked if I had been waxed before and which I replied "yes." Boy was I wrong! When I got in there I really had no idea what I have gotten myself into! I find out that this place does sugaring. I've always heard about it but I've never had the opportunity to get it done. Well this was my first experience, and I'm not sure if it will be my first or my last! That ish hurt so bad, honey! And I'm someone who needs to get waxed so it was a very painful experience I won't even lie. Fortunately for me, I have a high pain threshold and I was able to get through the entire session. But, I can definitely understand how some people cannot. That's the Titian was really professional and extremely nice. She talked me through the entire process and made sure to give me tips and tricks for aftercare. I will say, that not all the hairs were removed. But, the hairs that were removed took a while to grow back and that is definitely a plus side of sugaring rather than waxing. This place is really dope, don't get me wrong. However, the pain was too much! On the bright side -- they give you lots of coupons and if you use Yelp you do get a discount towards your first appointment. Happy waxing ladies! read more

I came here a few weeks ago, and did not have a pleasant experience. I got my eyebrows done, and was not pleasant with the results. Pros: Covid precautions were taken. Cons: My eyebrow wax. My esthetician was extremely rough around my eye area and tugged on my skin more than any other estheticians I've had before. She made my eyebrow look extremely uneven, and I spoke up about my concerns. However, after the second attempt I just wanted her to stop since she wasn't getting my ideal shape. Overall, she was really nice but I was unhappy with the results. read more

I had my first visit this week and got the facial-vitamin c microdermabrasion. This women-customer only shop is located on the side entrance of La Union restaurant. Always a great job and always a pleasure to visit. I have been going here for years. Such wonderful customer service and care.

You must PROMISE me that you will book with Lalla as soon as you are finished reading this, OK? Unless you are really lazy, it doesn't even matter what time it is because you can book online; there is no (valid) excuse not to do so. I had previously read the reviews but when I saw a deal on GiltCity last week, I figured it was fate; I quickly purchased the deal and was happy to see a link on the website for online booking. I made an appointment for the Microdermabrasion facial and got my tired, dull, aging skin in there yesterday. Easy (free) parking all over N. Jefferson Street, she is right at the corner of Wilson Blvd, but the building and entrance are the first building on N. Jefferson. A very nice woman (I don't know her name, sorry!) greeted me, and I sat and browsed through skincare info while waiting (I was early). Lalla is adorable, so full of energy and happiness, she wanted to know all about me before we got started and she had many suggestions throughout the hour. We did the microdermabrasion with the Vitamin C facial, and I have been thoroughly exfoliated, brightened and rejuvenated. My shoulders are also happy thanks to the nice massage, and the head massage felt heavenly. Book now (althought I don't need to remind you since you already promised, right????)!!! read more
