Terrible experience here. My whole manicure was rushed and every time I asked my technician to fix it, I was given stares/Attitude. I asked to get a design and she agreed then the whole time while doing it she complained it was hard. No cuticle oil, no lotion massage at the end was given. Air bubbles, trapped hair in the polish and visible streaks were left and at the end once I complained she offered to fix it however I didn't even have time to stay for that. Will NEVER return Update: owner mentions my irritation but doesn't mention the rudeness and attitude I got from her. Not very customer service like!! I also wanted to leave immediately after because of the rudeness I got from the owner. The pictures were taken 2-3 minutes after I left the salon. This is a cute little nail spot. I booked my appointment through classpass which actually was a huge saving- is a bit pricey for what I'm used to otherwise. I think they are by appointment only which is good for crowd control, but they were also nice enough to accommodate a walk-in ( came in with my dad). Service was great- got a mani-pedi. I am giving three stars because my pedicure with Margarita exceeded my expectations. She was very gentle, friendly and professional. I had a regular pedicure which is $35. I am not impressed at all with my gel manicure - at all. The woman who did my manicure never introduced herself she repeatedly made commands for me to relax yet my hands weren't moving at all. She told her manager, I'm assuming Je?, she needed me to relax my hands and I told her the same- they're relaxed. She cut my cuticle with out applying any oil to them or letting them soak (a manicure with no soaking) and my finger was cut. I expressed prior to my service I wanted gel extensions on my nail, which I had never had before and told them, and it burned the hell out of my finger under the UV light this is something that would've been nice to know prior to. The gel extensions are messy and look clumpy, don't know if that's the tech's fault or this is just how gel is but I didn't and do not like my nails or the paint. $65 for gel extensions $20 for gel polish & 10% combo "discount" = $109 worth of disappointment. read more

I still love this place! I was in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure and had to come back to my favorite spot! Due to the pandemic, they have temperature checks and face masks are required. Each guest is asked to wash their hands upon arrival. The seats are covered in in a light plastic disposable sheet for extra protection. Today, I tried the Noble's Essential Manicure and Pedicure! Their massage chair is the best that I have ever tried! I felt like I was getting a real massage. The callous remover works and the lotion felt like silk. Once again this place was amazing! This still remains one of my favorite nail salons in northern Virginia. It is comfortable, serene, very clean and the technicians are wonderful! Services are very thorough and professional. **COVID-19 Update ** Only one customer and technician are permitted in the salon at a time during the week and only two on the weekends. You get the salon to yourself for reduced exposure and heightened safety measures. This makes me feel at ease, so I can enjoy my services. They always had great sanitation practices, but have also installed partitions at all stations and masks are required. You can easily book services online ( even same day) and will be let in at the time of service. Their pedicures are a wonderful value and include hot stones and lovely massages. It's really well decorated, very clean, and relaxing. I couldn't tell that from the outside because it's in a fairly old looking building (like most of Vienna...part of the city's charm maybe?). I found the perfect place to get an ombré French manicure. The technician applies various shades of white to overlap each other and results in a beautiful finish. Definitely make an appointment on the weekends (including Friday) as they are very busy- yet accommodating. I'm still so upset I got a horrible manicure. I was in Vienna so I searched on Yelp to find a nail salon. Nobel Salon had a high rating of 4.5 stars on Yelp so I decided to try them. A 4.5 rating is inaccurate for this nail salon in my opinion. It's more like a 3-3.5. I went in for a regular manicure and pedicure. I'll start off with some positive remarks. -It was a nice salon. -Nice decor. -Quiet and relaxing ambiance. Not crowded on a Saturday afternoon. -Super comfortable pedicure chairs. -The pedicure lady gave me a really nice foot massage. Now my dislikes: What really bothered me and made me want to write a review is that the 2 nail technicians (one giving me a pedi the same time I am getting a mani) was that they both used an automatic nail file to cut my cuticles instead of a cuticle cutter. This damages your nails. It's a fast shortcut for them. I wanted the real experience where u soak your nails and hand cut your cuticles. Also what makes me concerned is that how do you sanitize those automatic nail files to cut client's cuticles? I asked for no polish just top coat and the mani. lady who is also I'm assuming the owner gave me a base coat. I asked after she was done that I wanted top coat. She said it's top coat. Lies.... I've gotten nails done too many times to know the difference. The regular nail polish selection was limited. There aren't a lot of colors to choose from and they didn't have that much OPI. In addition, the hand massage from the owner who was giving me the short cut manicure was very short and weak. I wanted to come here to be pampered. I got mediocre service and results. I won't be coming back and I wanted to let everyone know that this place doesn't deserve a 4.5 on Yelp. Not with my first time experience at least. read more

Noble's has been my regular salon now for two years, every two weeks. I can not say enough, or recommend Lani and her team more highly. I feel I have finally found my forever salon in Fairfax County. First, the owner takes Covid precautions seriously. The number of customers at one time is according to state law, a temp reader upon arrival, handwashing, masks, a disinfectant surface routine and unintrusive glass barrier at each station. Lani does not bend the rules, and as an immuno-compromised person, I appreciate it. Second, the skill of the team here. Lani, Lee, and every other technician do professional and gentle work, such that I no longer specify which technician when I make my appointment. If they work for Lani, they are excellent. Third, the beauty, comfort, and ambience of this salon is exceptional. Lani's educational background as a visual artist shows through in everything, from the furniture to the decor, to the small touches of luxury, to the soft jazz and other music she plays through the salon. Finally, the appointment is easily booked online, always called on time, and completed efficiently. Noble's prices are competitive. The price for the service I receive, gel manicure, is somewhat lower than the other Fairfax salons where I was a client before finding Noble's. This salon is absolutely gorgeous inside - the owner did a fantastic job decorating. I was thankful that I was accommodated as a walk-in. However, I wasn't completely happy with the dip nails I received. The nails on one of my hands were filed down too much (when removing the previous dip), so my nails were painful for a few days. The texture of my nails is also rough (imagine if you pressed fabric on top of your almost dry traditional nails), and acrylic was left under my nails. After two hours, the owner offered to let me come back later in the week to fix them, but I don't live nearby. read more

To be honest probably the best service I've ever received at a nail salon in the NoVA area. The shop is SOOO relaxing, not the usual hustle and bustle of your standard Vietnamese nail salon where people are having conversations in languages you cant understand and you spend half the time feeling like they are hardcore judging you even if they're not. Everything about this place screams luxury, Lani the owner went out of her way to actually purchase massage chairs (not the typical nail salon chair that just so happen to come equipped with a massage function) that could fit into her nail salon (think brookstone), those things are so comfy and plush I wish I could sit there all day. Gorgreous european-esque decor aside, the service from all the staff here is on point. So friendly, funny, and easy to chat with. When I mentioned that I wanted to get a manicure done as well, Lani actually did the manicure for me as I sat in the pedicure chair so that I could save time (talk about royal treatment?). The place was so relaxing/unintimidating/friendly that I managed to convince my male friend to come in and join me + get a pedicure for himself (he was supposed to pick me up for our next destination). i came in for an Essentials Pedicure (step up from their basic one i guess). called at 4:20ish to come in at 5, and was asked to come a little earlier.. which was fine, but nobody was here but one other customer so idk why lol my tech was lovely, but this salon is not it. no cavacle (prob didn't spell it right but you know the hot thing that sanitizes tools?) in sight, tools weren't packaged as if they had been sanitized. i honestly should have left bc the "callus remover" was just the sandpaper texture type of tool on my feet with SOAP lol again, my tech moved with care but Christ on a cracker is it outdated in there. the chairs are so old, mine didn't really work. the basins for your feet are unsanitary. cute, but they don't wrap them or anything. not a huge selection of colors (looked like maybe more gel than anything), and the polishes they keep at the stations (like top coat/base coat, etc) looked really old and were not a brand i recognized. overall, my tech worked well with what she had but i hope she goes somewhere else! read more

Not a pleasant experience. Made an appointment as recommended by their website. I arrived during Thanksgiving weekend to find the salon empty except for 3 employees. They do not use protective liners in the pedicure tubs and I should have left, but I needed both a pedicure and manicure. The youngest employee seemed new and she proceeded to start the pedicure while the other staff observed. She was not trained properly and when using the callus remover she cut my foot on the side next to my big toe. Her technique was lacking and when it came time to do the polish another tech stepped in to finish. Another oddity was when a 2nd tech came over during my pedicure to do the manicure. There was no soaking of my nails and she used an electric tool to trim cuticles even after I asked her not to. My nails are very thin and I did not want them damaged. The tech was distracted and rushed to apply the polish in very thick coats. Needless to say, the polish chipped off in 2 days. For a charge of almost $100 I expected a better result for both services. I cannot recommend this salon to any one. Perhaps it has changed ownership since the positive reviews . read more

My first time at this salon and I had such a lovely visit! First, it is very clean and decorated beautifully (very French/European in style) which immediately relaxes you. The chairs for the service are even super plush and comfortable! I had a gel manicure with Esther and design by Lani - they did such a fantastic job. They listened to me with my nail length (which I really appreciated since my nails grow out so quickly) and took the time to clean up my nails. I asked for white with a layer of silver glitter on top and a design and LOVED the result. These ladies took the time to ensure my nails looked perfect. Finally, the massage was amazing - they even use hot stones which I have not seen at many salons for a standard gel manicure. My experience with this salon was fantastic as I wanted to go to one of the highest rated salons in the area (thank you, Yelp!) and I was so happy with the results. It has been about 8 days since my gel manicure and it still looks beautiful - no chips, cracks, etc. which often happens to me as my nails grow out about a week in. Let me start by saying Kim did an awesome job on my nails & the decor is nice. BUUUUT Kim's customer service SUCKED! We had a misunderstanding with what I wanted and what services they provided (they DO NOT offer acrylic). I asked for toes & nails when I entered, she repeated it back to me & started my nails. Before she began painting my nails I reminded her that I wanted a polish change as well, she acted annoyed as if I didn't ask for one in the beginning. When I was trying to communicate & ask questions she seemed really annoyed. Maybe it had nothing to do with me, maybe it did. I just know I will never visit them again. This is what really made me give them 1 star! The owner or receptionist not sure of her name, didn't charge me for a service ($20 up charge for gel) due to our misunderstanding. Which was appreciated, but she behaved like Kim was owed a tip & was upset when I opted not to give one. I would have rather paid an extra 20$ for gel , then to give her a tip. She deserved what she charged for my nails, nothing extra! You do not deserve a tip you EARN a tip!
