Price $77 for dip powder fresh set & design The service was great, although it didn't seem like my nail tech knew how to do elaborate nail design she does a great job at the simpler things. Overall, i would come back, but I would be interested in seeing who the main nail art tech is. The spot was fairly clean. It wasn't fancy or one of those spots that'll give you wine or champagne. It has been so hard to find a place to do pedi's during the pandemic. We called on Saturday for a Monday appointment - first thing in the morning for two. They ensured they had two people working when they first opened and we were the ONLY people in the shop! It was so nice to sit back and relax and treat ourselves to being pampered. The chairs that they have, have various messages and the employees made sure to always push the buttons for us when it went off. They were so professional and pleasant asking our preferences and giving more information about the spa packages upgrades for pedis. I was told to get a different one than my husband due to the type of callus I had. And I agree it was the best choice for me! We will def come back to this place! read more

I'm usually the type to look at my nails afterwards and manage to find a crookedly shaped nail or something else to be picky about. Not tonight. I went in thinking I'll get some pearly neutrals and left with my mind blown-- Anh had asked if I wanted some designs, so I said why not. I found some inspo that had some very delicate designs-- not only did Anh insist on making it perfect but added finishing touches that made the end result even better. First of all - they are open on Sundays! I got my nails done here for the first time last Sunday and told the owner, Nina, that if I wrote a review I would mention that haha Ann did an amazing job with my nails. I got acrylics with gel polish (and design). I really like the dip style acrylics because they came out feeling and looking so much more natural. Ann was meticulous but efficient. It took ~1.5 hrs for a full set plus gel polish and designs. Also, she was gentle! Sometimes getting acrylics is painful, but she was careful, which I really appreciate! I really love this place. It's cute and clean inside and my nails turned out sooo pretty. Looking at them gives me life haha Ann and Nina are very sweet as well. To start, I got my nails done in late March, and it's now June. I've put off writing this review but hear me out. I researched a bunch of different salons and found this nearby, walk-ins are welcome, not too expensive, under new management, and offered a lot. However considered going since I wanted to treat myself, came in TWO hours before closing, and felt judged. Oh, and you know how many salons are mostly Vietnamese people. Surprise, I'm half Viet and understand it fluently. Most people would guess Chinese or Korean. Therefore I would not come back, but it was a decent experience. The lady that did my nails and design was VERY good at her job. Compliments to her because she was the best. Overall please don't trust your technician with personal info about your life. 1) There are hundreds of salons in the area and very few have quality technicians. Romancing Nails definitely has a couple of amazing techs. My go-to is the owner as I only do acrylic tips and gel polish on top. 2) Quality/Quantity- products are new and so many colors to choose from. The selections were revamped by the new owner. My nails last 3-4 weeks. I type, lift weights, and constantly work with my hands and they've always stayed on strong. 3) Location - right in the big shopping center on the side where Lotte is. Lots of traffic and visible to a newcomer. 4) Accommodation - book an appointment although walk ins are welcome. Due to their size in staff and prebooked appointments, it is recommended to make an appt. We (myself and two friends) stopped here for pedicures yesterday during our girl's day out. The nail tech continuously filed/buffed too far into my nail bed that they're currently sore (24 hrs later). The service, beyond that was okay. Not spectacular, but not bad either. The three of us received the deluxe pedicure with gel polish. Two of us were charged $72 the other was charged $67 (initially, they told her $57). When I questioned the price, she told me $42 for the deluxe pedicure and $25 for the gel polish (highway robbery ) -- but that's still ONLY $67... so, "the math ain't mathing". I paid anyway, using the Cashapp option -- which the nail tech pointed to. After the payment went through, she said something to one of the other ladies who then asked me to send it to another Cashapp. Uhhhh... no ma'am -- the payment has already been made. We decided we won't be back. My pedicure wasn't worth the $67 my friend paid, let alone the $72 that I actually paid. We won't be back. I have been looking for a good nail salon for AGES!! I'd finally found the perfect person, but her quality truly dropped when she finally returned from COVID. So I've started looking for a new place. Based on reviews, I tried Romancing the Nails. I got a full set with gel polish and a pedicure. The pedicure was nice. I have no complaints. However the full set was a train wreck. Tammy was my mail tech. Upon applying the tips, I first noticed that one was applied so it looked like a ski jump, arching up sharply toward the ceiling. When I pointed this out to Tammie, she filed the nail down but did not remove it. She then proceeded to glue another nail on top of the first nail. She continued to apply the nail gel solution. It was an even with some portions having sections they did not touch the nail at all and other portions very thick. I also noticed that the nails weren't straight but rather some nails were slanted at the tip with one side longer than the other. When she applied the gel polish, she applied a very thick layer. While the gel sat under the dryer, it begin to run off the finger so that there were thick sections. I pointed this out to Tammie. She filed one nail down and then proceeded to apply the polish in the same way a second time.And there was nail material everywhere on my hands. My hands looked a mess! I have attached pictures of my hands now. I got my nails done on Saturday, these pictures are from Monday. The quality of this force it was abhorrent. I came into the salon with beautiful and long natural nails. I asked the nail technician to trim the nails down a bit and shape my nails into an almond shape. She kept making them square and messing them up until they were shorter than I wanted them to be. The nails she shaped are crooked, pointing in random directions. My right hand nails are longer than my left hand nails. I asked her to buff/shine my nails with no paint. They're not that shiny. I've never had someone do such an awful job with something so simple. I'm very disappointed with her work and I feel like I wasted my money going there. I do not recommend this place.
