Walk-in with a friend on a Wednesday mid-afternoon with no reservation. It was a last minute decision on going. Did a quick search and decided to give this salon a try. The facility was clean. Staff was very friendly upon entrance. They sat us immediately for two manicures. I did a regular manicure ($25) which was good quality and pricing. My friend did gel x full set ($65). The only concern she had was that the nails weren't cleaned underneath but everything on top looked great. I've gotten my manicures and pedicures done here a few times and wished that I could become a regular especially since the location is convenient, but my nails have chipped or cracked within a few days after getting them done. #sadthings I like their wide selection of colors (dip, gel, and regular polishes) and how fast their service in since I'm usually in and out for both a manicure/pedicure within 1.5 hours, but after the past few times, I've realized that less time doesn't mean better quality. They also have a great variety of spa pedicures which I've enjoyed relaxing with. The salon is clean and aesthetically pleasing. My technician gave me a high quality pedicure and great massage even with only purchasing the base "classic pedicure". The salon is bright, clean, and nicely decorated. The lady who did my nails, an older lady w glasses who sits up front on the left side, did a horrendous job on my acrylic nails w gel color. I'm trying to understand how they have 4.8 stars and they're out here doing subpar work. I could've done a better job at home. The lady was nice but obv not great at doing acrylics. There's air bubbles and the acrylic is lumpy. The nail bit she used to smooth out the acrylic wasn't even the right one. She attempted to clean up the gel with a DRY brush not even dipped in acetone. Inexperienced, very slow older lady with undeveloped skill level pawned off onto me for a lengthy practice session. She was terrible, I politely asked for another tech and was told everyone else was busy, while they clearly sat around talking to one another and on their phones. I had to file my own nails, because the lady was so bad. The dip powder was unevenly applied so there's inadequate coverage/color and my skin is all torn up from her misuse of the powered file and hand file. One of the worst experiences ever. After another visit I've decided it's really who you get that decides the quality of your service. I got a last min appt at the morning of nye and had my gel redone and even though it was chaotic and lots of people needed attention I was able to be in and out in a hour.I appreciate the owner reaching out to me to remedy my previous service with another technician. I booked an appointment with Angie because of a few good reviews I read on here. She was occupied with another client at the time of the appointment. I waited 30 minutes for her though this wasn't a huge deal as I was not in a rush. Luckily her work did not disappoint. I showed Angie a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it beautifully. She also provided a nice relaxing scrub during my pedi and paraffin wax after my gel mani - a nice touch. Love to be pampered. I paid for services with Apple Pay and tipped via Venmo. The salon itself is clean and comfortable. I have never been overcharged and the high quality of their dipped nails and pedicures never waivers. Within one week two of my nails snapped off on literally picking up something... no pressure on the mail, no hitting it, just literally touching something and it snapped.
