I love going to Beauty Touch Day Spa! The location is convenient and the prices are competitive with the other high quality salons in the area. My mother goes all the time for pedicure (She swears by Lin), and I go for acrylics. All the staff here are wonderful and I never feel rushed. If you want to be chatty, they are more than happy to talk with you. If you like to keep quiet, they won't pressure you to keep conversation, it's really nice! When I go in they address me by name which I find to be a really personal touch, and I appreciate their friendliness. The atmosphere is lovely, and they take walk-ins with little to no wait time. On weekends it's best to make an appointment, just in case, because this place can get quite crowded. Vin is my favourite nail tech. He takes his time and makes sure that your nails look their best. So I was told this place was great by a coworker. Nice ambiance but crappy service. I went in for a gel pedi. I requested Kathy due to the reviews. She was nice and politte. But she has shaky hands. Also I asked that she cut down my toe nails. So she ended up cutting them so short and when she cut my cuticles and skin around my toe nails she cut me twice. Ouch. Also I did not get the massage or the hot wax and at first she tried to make me pay the full $57. And then I was like even though I didn't get the full service? She took of $5 what?? At my normal nail shop I pay $38. So word of advice do not go here!! read more

I've been waiting to see when this business was available on Yelp to write a review. I frequent here, and I have been to most of the salons around Ashburn and Sterling. The chairs are nice massage chairs - they work and actually feel good. The atmosphere is nice and the technician's all seem to be pretty good. Very clean. Pedi/mani's include Parafin, great attention to detail, and long massages (and the occasional back and shoulder massage during manicures). Gel lacquer mani fans...they have Shellac. The wax rooms are nice and spotless. It seems to have good space for large parties too (I think there is a tiny/decor bar in the corner). They also have 4 adorable kiddy size pedi chairs - I don't have kids, but think that's a nice touch. Good place, you'll enjoy yourself, and go back. read more

I went here a few weeks ago and I didn't have a pleasant experience. The lady tried to rip off my acrylic nail instead of soaking them off. If you've ever accidentally ripped off a nail you know how painful this is. So just imagine someone intentionally trying to rip them off. On top of this she was barely paying attention to what she was doing with my nails, she kept getting up and walking around the store. I ended up leaving before she could begin to paint my nails because I had a feeling her services wouldn't live up to what I wanted done on my nails. I believe I dodged a bullet so I wouldn't recommend getting your nails done here. read more

Went here with my girlfriends. While I had an OK experience my friend was treated very rudely by her technician. She wasn't massaged nor given wax treatment like the rest of us. Not only that her technician was not noticeably rough with her. At several times she pulled and tugged her hand during the manicure. This place is terrible! Took my daughter for a full set of acrylics and brows waxed before school starts Thursday. Her full set took only 30 minutes to day and looks horrible. The guy never asked her how long or what shape she wanted her nails. The polish looks terrible too, missed areas and is chipping in spots after only 2 hours. It was a gentleman who did mine, but I didn't catch his name. The only thing I thought was negative was the staff speaking to each other in a language other than English. Today was my second time there and I will not be going back. They open at 10 and I had a 10 appt. My nail tech was 20 min late. He never apologized but just said thank you for waiting. I had a pedicure and gel fills with shellac polish. My toe nails are uneven and different shapes. Had a gel French manicure and classic pedicure done. The manicure looks fantastic and he did an amazing job cleaning up my cuticles as they really needed it! The pedicure was great he did a wonderful job cleaning up the shape of my nails. The only small issue I had was the paint was a touch messy, but I have very very small toenails so I can imagine it was little difficult! My feet feel soft and pampered and my hands look beautiful. I don't do Yelp reviews but feel my past experience with BTDS warranted feedback. I have been a customer of this place loyally for 10+ years even with change in ownership & management. Why? Because of my "regular girl." Friday, January 10 (my regular lady was not available): "Lynn" did my pedi and mani. Picked my polish, pedi was ok. When it came to the manicure, at the second finger, I said to her, "The polish looks clumpy. Is this how its supposed to be?" She replied yes. I stopped her again on the third nail and said "This doesn't look right." She ignored me. Once she finished all the nails I told her "My nails don't look right. Can you please fix them?" She walked away, ignored me, another nail tech saw my discontent and told the manager "Kim" to come over. I showed her my nails and she said "They o.k." I said, "No they are not. They are clumpy, bumpy, not smooth. I think the nail polish is old." Her response, "It have liter." I could not understand what she meant by "liter." When I repeated to her "It has liter? What is that?" At that point the manager Kim began to yell at me. Everyone in the salon (customers and employees) stopped and stared at me. I kept my cool and said "Do you mean glitter?" She responded with "Yeah, yeah. It no her fault. It YOU fault! YOU pick polish!" My regular girl at that point jumped in, translated, was very kind and professional, and remedied the situation by asking "Lynn" to redo my nails. My regular girl even picked out another polish for me. "Lynn" never apologized and was very rude and unfriendly. The manager was even more rude by YELLING at me and totally unprofessional. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by a service provider. Over the years I have sent many people to this salon. In the past, I even hosted parties at the salon that helped to drive their business. My ten years of loyalty have ended. The owners should take note as many of the regular customers of BTDS have chosen to take their business elsewhere, and they have had some good employees leave as well. read more

Today I treated my mom and myself to a pedicure. While my mom's technician was very competent and attentive, mine was just the opposite. Mom's pedicure started before mine and lasted 10 minutes after mine. My technician was in charge of the cash register and phone and was interrupted several times. Her attention to detail was NOT there at all. I was extremely disappointed and had to fix all my nails when I got home. Be careful of the technician you get! read more

I feel like nail salons are a dime a dozen out here in the suburbs, but 9 out of 10 times they are unsanitary, filled with employees who are rude and don't speak a lick of English, and do a horrific job on your nails. Thankfully, BTDS opened a little over a year ago and fills the gaps these others places create. The place is spotless - I mean really, really clean. The technicians are friendly and NOT pushy at ALL. I hate going into a nail salon only to get upsold on stuff I'd never want in the first place. They've got a wide range of services, including massages and hair services (though I've never actually partaken in the latter). They even have cute little kid-sized chairs for those days when you actually want to bring your tyke with you to get their toenails did. :) I love this place and won't patronize anywhere else in the Ashburn area. read more

i just got my nails done here by Holly. I was a little annoyed at first because she wasn't talking to me and i was just sitting there, but then we got to talking and she's only been in the states for a year and her english is catching up. We then spent the rest of the time with her teaching me vietnamese words which was a lot of fun. Holly did well, very gentle and professional. The paint job is a little lacking in some corners of my nails, but i can live with that. The shop was very clean and and relaxing and the price for getting my nails done ($16) was perfect. read more

I came in for a last minute treat-yourself mani pedi at around 5:15 (45 minutes before close) and although it was close to close and I was the only one left in the salon, Lin went the full 9 yards with wax, hot towels, massages, and lotions. As a full time server on my feet all day I really appreciate the time she took to really give me what I paid for. (only $45 for a full mani pedi!!) I asked for ombré nails and the nail tech finished and said, "I don't think you need ombré." I didn't ask him what he thought, I asked for a service. My cuticles and nail beds are excessively sore from the drilling I asked him not to do. And he kept saying i had acrylics when these were my natural nails. I have been in the area for over 15 years and these guys do a great job. There are lots of folks who say they do the pink and white but not to the caliber of these folks. The whites are even and correctly sized, additionally the ladies who do the waxing pay close attention to the balance. I would heartily recommend everyone there. read more

I went in when they opened at 10:00 Monday morning and they wanted to rush me out just to request a nail acrylic fill with pink french tips and said it would take an additional 20 minutes. I said it was no problem..I will wait for my nails to dry. hence i was the only customer in the place and there were four female workers. Two men came in for "massages" and didn't come out for over an hour after going to the back room. The second one left when he saw me sitting there getting my nails done. This was on a Monday morning. I was hearing the word "tacky" several times between the Vietnamese language and they were standing over me. i was the only woman getting a manicure so I assume they were talking about me. I am appalled that a "happy ending massage parlor" is in Ashburn, because I had been there twice before in the evening. The owner insisted on me making an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait. NOW I KNOW WHY. She asked if I lived in Ashburn to which I said, "yes". She was rude when got a phone call from my spouse and I made a comment about him knowing I was getting nails done and he should wait there until. NOW I KNOW WHY. If anyone is in doubt about this post, do your own recon. I will not return to this establishment because I do not to dry my hands on those towels...eeewe read more
