My favorite waxing studio in the DMV! I've been waxed a few times by Laureley here and she always makes sure you are comfortable. Not only that, but she tries her best to make it fast and as painless as possible. I've also been waxed by Annie and a few other techs here and have always had a good experience. No judgement and they always strive to make sure their customers are comfortable and satisfied with results. The studio is also extremely clean and appointments can easily be made online! read more

Will be making this place my go-to! The place is clean and welcoming. Rosie was awesome and made the process as painless/easy as possible.

Saw positive reviews on Yelp for eyebrow waxing and decided to give them a try. Had a great experience & will definitely return.

They do a good job, and are friendly and efficient. Heads up that the packages expire after a year though, so those are only a savings if you know you will use them all in a year. read more

I have been coming here for a few months! Everyone is super kind, the place is clean, and the service is very good. I also have eczema and really sensitive skin in all areas and this wax works for me. Lauraley and Gabby are the 2 people I have gone to, however I'm sure any of them are great here. read more

This place is always incredibly high quality. I get a variety of waxing services here including legs, underarms, and Brazilian. I've never had a complaint! There are two locations for this business and services are great at both, but I personally prefer Reston. The decor and waiting room are beautiful, and it has a truly peaceful feel. read more

Love it here. Very clean and bright. Not super painful. See Laureley for all your waxing needs!

LOVE Ms Annie's!! This place is so clean, staff are so lovely, and the wax doesn't hurt (seriously)!! I have such sensitive skin, and I've tried getting waxes elsewhere but MSA's is the only place that doesn't hurt or leave my skin super red. I won't go anywhere else now! read more

This summer I need to be smooth for my beach and pool extravaganzas. But after I tried another studio where the waxer double dipped and I had to stop her during my wax, I was on the hunt for a waxing experience that diverged from the new *aesthetic* trend of ripping all my hair from my most delicate areas in one hard wax pull, and leaving a molding of my jewels for all to see. Though good for instagram clicks its not good for avoiding ingrowns and scarring so I was on the hunt for a studio that wasn't a chop shop chain but also not a waxer whose goal was clicks and likes over satisfaction and skin health. I found Ms Annies through a web search and upon visiting the site pages was greeted with rave reviews. And for good reason: after working with two young ladies and finally sticking with Danielle since her schedule works well with mine (I also worked with Erica who I really enjoyed too!) and also after having visited her at both Tyson's and Reston (near my job), I am sold. Ms Annie's studio uses a chocolate wax that can be used hard or soft and Danielle did small pulls with muslin going in the direction of the hair. I have not suffered a bad ingrown since coming to this studio. Danielle is very gentle and sweet and I enjoy our conversations while she is giving me great service. Both the Reston and the Tyson's location are welcoming but if you're a plant lover definitely swing around to Reston as there is a rare and uncommon plant exhibit courtesy the owner, Ms Annie. As a plant momma this warmed my heart. Booking is very simple via the site and I can always get an appointment. One day I had an emergency and had to reschedule and they were SO accommodating. And the best part? Anything you need to pamper yourself between appointments you can get there. Be it soy wax candles in custom scents or solution to keep your skin smooth and bump free. Highly recommend read more

Incredible staff, environment and results. So thankful I found Ms. Annie's waxing salon.

Erika was such a skilled, friendly, and thorough professional, managing to remove all of my unwanted hair with minimal pain (whereas other waxing studios in the past left conspicuous clumps of hair and rushed me out the door). As a plus size woman, I never felt judged, uncomfortable, or like Erika was unfamiliar with my body type. I have *never* left a waxing session as smooth and soft, even at other salons charging an unreasonable amount for the service. I think that's because Erika cares about her work and her clients. Definitely booking my next Brazilian here again and will be back for other waxing services as well! Also, the studio itself is lovely, serene, plant filled, and smells great. You'll be comfortable. I already referred my best friend. read more

I have never been to Ms. Annie's before. Bela was great! She took her time, she was gentle, very personable and did a great job. She explained other services that are offered. I will be back to visit soon. read more

Great customer service and great work. Shanice takes her time and is very thorough. She takes pride in her work. I say this because I went for my first visit, and she advised that I should wait a few weeks so that when she does it, the results would be better, and she was correct. I have gone to other places and been dissatisfied with the service with hair being left, and now I know why! Thanks for being great at what you do Shanice. The shop is clean and quiet. read more

I'm always able to get a quick appointment and staff is very friendly, professional, and do a great job.

The best wax spa around . Laureley pays attention to detail and the wax doesn't give a reaction .

My all time go-to Esthitician is Belen. All the Estheticians are great but there's just something different in her technique/skills/results that truly makes her stand out. read more

First time waxing here- and I will be back! I have been to a lot of waxing places, and this is definitely one of my best experiences, it was the least painful, not even painful for me at all honestly. The environment is great, and Rosie is a great waxer! She is a great conversationalist and was super friendly. I 100% recommend for coming here for first time waxers as well as experienced. read more

I've tried a bunch of different waxing and sugaring places over the years because I have sensitive skin and haven't found a place I loved. Until now! The studio is beautiful, relaxing and super clean. Annie is amazing - she's a sweet, friendly, charming person but also really talented. I have never had so little pain or such a small reaction afterwards. I can't recommend highly enough! read more

Don't normally leave reviews but just had to for this one! I had such a great experience at Ms. Annie's for my first ever Brazilian wax. The atmosphere of the studio is extremely relaxing and chill, which made me feel more comfortable. My waxer (who I think was actually the Ms. Annie!) was so nice and talked me through every step as she was waxing. She was gentle and distracted me with conversations to the point where I didn't even realize she was still waxing me. There was some pain but not nearly as bad as I expected it to be. She also gave me some tips on sugar waxing and after care. Will definitely be back for more appointments! read more

I just moved to the Reston area and was looking for a new wax studio. I came across Ms. Annie's studio from Yelp reviews and decided to give it a try. First, you can make you appointments online, which is great! When I got there, I was checked in immediately and only waited 5 mins to see my waxer, Ms. Annie (the owner). The waxing studio and room were so clean and sterilized, I felt very comfortable. Annie asked me several questions about my waxing history before getting started. Once started, she used chocolate wax while doing my Brazilian and it was the most pain free wax I have even experience. I am looking forward to coming back to this studio and would recommend them to anyone! read more

Belen was so friendly and knowledgeable, the studio is lovely, and it was the least pain I've ever experienced during a Brazilian wax.

Annie is the best! The whole team always makes me feel very welcome and comfortable and Annie is incredibly efficient and friendly. I love going to see her in their beautiful Reston studio, it's very calming and spa like! read more

Annie was great and gentle when waxing my brows. The place in Reston was beautiful too.

I went for a Brazilian wax. Jazmin is awesome and very personable. The new location in Reston is really nice and has a great atmosphere.

Great experience, friendly staff, clean and hygienic practices! Will definitely return and refer others too!

Let me just start this off with Ms. Annie's waxing is some of the best I've ever experienced! I had gone to their Tyson's location, which was great and Bridgette was wonderful, but got very excited upon hearing there being one opening in Reston! 10 minutes from where I live! I went in this past Thursday and was immediately greeted with a warm welcome from both the receptionist and the wonderful Jazmin. Jazmin took me straight back, asked me if I had any questions, then gave me a moment to get ready (I was getting a full Brazilian). First thing I noticed was the cleanliness and bright atmosphere the place had. Ms. Annie loves plants and had SO many beautiful live ones placed throughout. I actually learned a little back story about that from Jazmin which I thought was so cool! During the entire time there, Jazmin was super sweet, thorough, had great conversation, and took care in making sure everything was going well! Overall, fantastic place and business. Don't think I'll be going anywhere else! And as far as COVID protocol; this place is for sure doing their part. I was very satisfied and felt safe the entire time. read more

I had an appointment with Belen before I went to a beach wedding and it was the best waxing experience I've ever had! Belen has such a calming energy and we had such good conversations about the beautiful plants in the studio. Belen is really detailed and when we were finished she made sure I looked over every part and let her know if there were any missed spots. Definitely book with her if you go to Ms. Annie's!! You won't regret it read more

Rosie Le was amazing. She was gentle and did not miss a single spot. I had no bumps or rashes after my wax and I have sensitive skin.

This was my 4th session. It is always very professional and friendly. I am now a loyal customer.
