Lynn is a true professional. I wish they had an award for hair removal (maybe called the Waxies??). She would win for Best Brazilian for sure. You might think her prices are high if you have never gotten waxed before. Like me, you might be tempted to get a coupon for someplace you don't know. Look, you get what you pay for. Lynn is meticulous and thorough. Her place is clean, hygienic, and private. She is warm and friendly and makes you forget you are getting your hair ripped out. With the job she does, it's worth a "brazillion" dollars! read more

I have been coming here since May 2022 and continue to come back. I absolutely love Lynn and the results! I originally found this place due to being a bit scared to get hot wax done and wanting something more natural and pain free. Well I can attest that that is exactly what Pure Sugar Wax is, natural and considerably less pain full! There is always some discomfort as most things with waxing are but when I tell you it's SO WORTH IT, it really is and I will continue to support Pure Sugar Wax read more

Okay, sugar wax is a paste made up of sugar, lemon, and hot water. It is obviously more natural than regular hard wax and it is also less painful. The paste doesn't adhere to your skin like hard wax does. Lynn is amazing; she is funny and talkative. She makes the whole process less awkward. Sugaring still hurts, but she takes her time to ensure it won't be too painful. I am not really sure what else I can say. I highly recommend sugaring over hard wax. 5 stars. read more

A real life Angel that made my first experience comfortable & virtually painless! It's in the back of a hair place and in a private room for waxing. Lynn kept me calm, relaxed and was beyond professional. I was in and out in 15 mins and actually looking forward to coming back and ditching the razor for good! read more

Lynn is amazing! As the many other 5-star reviews show, this is the best place to get a Brazilian / bikini wax done. Lynn is incredibly kind, calming, and efficient - the whole waxing process took no longer than 20 minutes, and I was nervous given it was my first time. Lynn kept convo with me throughout the entire session and ensured that I was at ease during the appointment. She's so easy to connect with and makes a concerted effort to get to know you & make sure you feel safe and comfortable during a rather vulnerable experience. Never going anywhere else, so glad I came across this spot! read more

Lynn is absolutely the best. So comfortable with her. End result is worth it all! Just pretty!

Lynn is the absolute best! I found her online a little over year ago and I refuse to see anyone else. She does her best to make you feel comfortable and periodically asks if you need a break. I highly recommended Pure Sugar Wax, you won't regret it! read more

There is a reason behind the five stars!!... Lynn is God send! I always veer away from waxing due to the pain from it but felt like I should get it done for my wedding week since shaving daily seemed like too much. I spoke with Lynn and she was able to accommodate me within a weeks time! The studio was super super clean and the wax is a pure sugar/lemon/honey mixture that doesn't have any double dipping scenario! Lynn made me feel at ease right away and to be quite honest- I didn't even feel it. Obviously there are a few areas that can be a little more sensitive than others but she moves with such expertise and has so much empathy that I was so so happy I chose this studio. It's to the point that I have actually made up my mind to switch from shaving to waxing. Honestly you will not be disappointed and the bonus is you don't have that gross sticky feeling at the end, it's soft and supple all over!!! Thank you so much Lynn :) read more

Lynn was wonderful. She communicated very clearly on how to find the business and confirmed my appointment time. Clean, comfortable, friendly would be the top 3 words I'd use to describe my waxing service. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

I was nervous but curious about sugar waxing after a horrific hot wax experience elsewhere years ago. Lynn is amazing! She is warm & friendly & she definitely knows what she is doing. Awesome experience today, I will definitely be a returning customer! Thanks Lynn!!! read more

DO IT!! MAKE THE APPOINTMENT! I promise you, you won't regret it and you will be coming back to Mrs.Lynn! She is sooo talented and professional! It was my first time getting a Brazilian and it was the best decision I have ever made in my life. Don't wait any longer!! read more

So quick and relatively painless, best sugaring I've found on the area. Will be back!

I have been coming here to Lynn now for almost 4 years. She is truly an amazing being and wonderful at what she does. Coming here the first time, I WAS SO SCARED about getting my first Brazilian and definitely she made my experience so calm and actually now became into my relaxing time. She is so personable and definitely leaves a job well done. If this is your first time getting a wax or the last time you had wax it wasn't a pleasant experience, DEFINITELY COME TO LYNN. She has risen the bar and I will not go to anyone else if it isn't her now. read more

This was my first time receiving a sugar wax Brazilian. I will stay with the sugar! This place knows exactly what to do! The pain was minimal compared to hard wax and I got no sensitivity issues, like bumps or irritated skin. Its been over a week and the hair is still gone! I recommend this friendly and CLEANLY sugar wax gem! read more

Lynn is phenomenal and cannot recommend her enough! Waxing will always have some element of pain, but Lynn is incredibly fast and efficient. She made the experience (dare I say) pleasant! She'll talk with you the whole time to help distract you and is quite personable and friendly. Found my go to place and I couldn't be happier! read more

Lynn was amazing! The first wax I've had since the pandemic. I went it expecting pain.. Nope, Lynn worked her magic and the pain was tolerable. She kept me talking the whole time. Lynn works quick too, I was done in about 20mins! I will be back in 4 weeks! Thanks Lynn!!!! read more

I cannot recommend Lynn enough. Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is also so kind and funny and just an all around awesome person! I refuse to go anywhere/see anyone else. Getting sugared is also the way to go! I have very sensitive skin and the results are so much better than hot wax. I'd give 100 stars if I could! read more

Excellent, quick service! Very easy to schedule online. Least pain I've ever experienced with a Brazilian and I've been getting them for over a decade at various places across the country. read more

I absolutely loved Lynn! She was so comforting and did a great job getting every hair. Just so thurough and cautious. It was definitely worth it. My skin is super sensitive, and I knew sugaring was the best option for me. She even used a hazelnut spray after waxing and it was so calming and helped disinfect. Definitely coming back here again. read more

Lynn was fantastic. I went in yesterday for my first ever Brazilian "anything" and was greeted by a friendly face. I told Lynn I was a virgin to this experience and she was sympathetic. As I was unsuesnto the pain, I was nearly in tears after 5 minutes and Lynn understood and even handed my a tissue and asked if I wanted to stop. She reassured me only some parts hurt worse than others and she was right! She made sure I felt comfortable the whole time and did a wonderful Job! I even left with a big hug from her. Definitely highly recommended! I'm definitely coming back! read more

It was my first time here, and my experience was amazing! Lynn's communication is excellent and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I will definitely be coming back! read more

This was by far the best experience I have ever had (while getting my bikini line done). I've tried waxing a few times and swore I would never do it again because it's too painful. I decided to give sugaring a try and wow. I was in shock by how much less it hurt than waxing. The discomfort only lasts a second unlike waxing which for me takes a couple hours for the throbbing to subside. Lynn was incredible and I will definitely be back. By the way I drove from Delaware to see Lynn because her reviews were so great - absolutely worth the drive!! Thank you Lynn. read more

Absolutely incredible experience! I was so nervous to get a Brazilian wax for the first time, but Lynn was kind, and so sweet. She made great communication and the nerves go away. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Very nice lady. This was my first wax and Lynn made it so much more comfortable. Thanks Lynn!

Got a Brazilian and full underarm waxing done. Lynn was absolutely wonderful. First she applies baby powder so that the wax will better stick to your hairs and not skin (I assume that's the purpose!) She was very thorough and quick with the waxing and applied pressure with her hand after the really painful bits which helped. Also she applied witch hazel when she was done to help with the inflammation. I'm not going to lie it did hurt like hell, but that's to be expected with any waxing and Lynn keeps the conversation flowing which was really helpful. I felt completely comfortable with her the whole time and I will definitely be coming back! Thanks Lynn! read more

This is my second time with Lynn and she made it such an easy process ( because we all know how painful sugar waxing is) she is fast yet efficient and I love it, she is truly amazing :) With COVID-19, she opened the door for me, the place was clean like it always is, she had her mask on all the times. She is taking all her precautions and I felt safe being there. My experience overall was just beyond pleasant. I will always come to her and I am soo happy I finally have found me a good place :) . I recommend her to everyone who wants a healthy wax, a smooth result, and a great service. read more

Absolutely the best results, perfect professional treatment, and extremely clean facility! She makes you feel comfortable and cared for.

Lynn is every bit as fantastic as the reviews promise. I have had a lot of Brazilians in the past 15 years, both traditional wax and sugaring, and she is one of the best I've ever been to. She is highly skilled at her craft and performs a Brazilian quickly, thoroughly, and with a minimum of discomfort. I was very impressed. She is also a lovely person. I only wish she offered legs - I would have loved to book that at the same time! read more

You NEED to get your sugar wax here! Let me start off in saying that this was also my first time ever getting waxed. Lynn was absolutely phenomenal! I had no idea what to expect and she was so calm, patient, friendly, and thorough. I wish I could give this more than five stars. You're brought to a small, very clean room in the back of the salon with soft music playing. She talked at my comfort level during the process and once the waxing part was done she used tweezers to clean up. To be blunt, she took care of all of it. I'm super impressed. I will definitely be going back to her! Prior to the appointment I also received a text message about the appointment with great details and a picture of the storefront. I can't imagine what would have made this a better experience. Thank you so much Lynn! read more

Lynn is so sweet and funny! I feel super comfortable coming to here and love that we talk and joke around when I am in for my appointments. Her work is efficient and clean and she takes the time to make sure that you're feeling ok before moving on. Everything has always been so clean and ordered whenever I've come in. Definitely will continue to come back to her :) read more

So glad I decided to give this place a try! I started off a bit skeptical, as finding Pure Sugar Wax inside of Unique Hair Zone threw me off a bit. However, the super convenient location & the $39 first time client special tempted me enough. Turns out, Lynn is awesome!! I left feeling like I made a friend & added a skilled esthetician to my routine. Lynn does a wonderful job keeping up the conversation, while she near painlessly rids all of those unwanted hairs. Her space is clean & inviting; the ladies of Unique Hair Zone where welcoming as well. Great service, great prices with package deals & 10% discount with Yelp check in. So glad Lynn decided to open her own location in Centreville, welcome to the neighborhood! read more

She does an excellent job sugaring and amazing. She did not hurt me nor bruise me. The place is clean. She is also very customer oriented and I will be coming back. read more

I need to give Lynn a 10 if possible!!! By far the best Brazilian sugar wax I ever had!! When I began to start waxing I had only done it a few times and every time I did I never went back to the same places. I either didn't have a good experience or the outcome of the waxing process was not helping with my main issue and concern. Which was to make sure I had a smooth, non-irritated healthy glowing skin. Lynn made me feel soooo comfortable! her space is adorable and has lots of lighting and soft music and she makes it as painless as possible. I have very thick coarse her and she has been the only one who was able to work with my hair and make sure EVERYTHING is removed and smooth before I leave. She does a great job with talking to you through the process making sure your breathing pattern follows her waxing methods. I've visited her once but let me tell you... I'm never going anywhere else! Seriously my skin is so nice now and gives great advice on natural smooth skin remedies! She's awesome and even texts you how to find the location!!!! read more

Lynn is THE most amazing person ever - anywhere! She genuinely nice, caring, and super friendly. She is so personable that such a vulnerable experience of waxing your hoo-ha (Brazilian wax) was such a pleasant and totally normal and comfortable experience! Lynn is so thorough and wants to make sure you leave bare and happy - no hair left behind! This has been THE best place to get bare under there. I have already scheduled my next appointment, and I'm actually looking forward to it :) Trust me, you will not be disappointed at all; you will actually ask yourself, "how have I lived without Lynn my whole life?!" The place is clean, the process is clean, fast and super efficient. I want to tell everyone what an amazing place this is, but I hope I can still get my appointments in without having to wait weeks/months - awesome-place-problem, I know. read more

So...let me start off by saying that I've never got any waxing done. Ok, now that that's out of the way, I know that the storefront seems a bit sketchy, but it really isn't! From what I gather, Unique Hair Zone is a hair salon, so it is pretty fitting to have waxing services in there as well. I do believe Lynn is the only one that does waxing there. She was incredible! She made sure I was comfortable and as some of the other reviewers mentioned, she made sure that my breathing helped with any pain there was. She also talks to you to keep you distracted and I can appreciate that! Lynn is super friendly and will also text you before your appointment to make sure you know where she is located if it was your first time. I left yesterday, and she even texted me to make sure I got home safely! She's a sweetheart and I am glad that she is so close to me! I will definitely go back to her and um...probably won't go anywhere else! You rock Lynn! read more

Really quick and she's really friendly. She keeps you engaged in conversation so you don't feel awkward. It wasn't painful for me and she's pretty meticulous too! She plucked out all the little stragglers and also have me advice on exfoliation and some alternative and cheap ways to do it! I feel the price is really reasonable. I tried her out with a groupon and I'm definitely going back! read more

Love this place!! Lynn is so sweet and so professional. I see her regularly and couldn't be happier with her work. She is precise and does great work. Minimal pain too! Go see Lynn!! read more

This was more on the pricey side compared to other places but Lynn was great. Quick and done correctly!

I have been getting waxed at a boutique waxing place in another town for the past couple of years and needed a place when I moved back home. Thank you Yelp for leading me to Lynn!!! She was AMAZING and even when I move out of town in a few weeks again, I will continue coming back to cville to see Lynn. She was so calm, easy to talk to and knowledgeable about what she was doing. She even makes her own sugaring solution at home every night! On top of that, she's affordable. Thank you Lynn!! read more

Great place to go. Amazing service. Lynn sure is one of the best. I can't say more than that. She is wonderful!
