She ripped off a chunk of wax and immediately blurted out, "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!" Sorry for what, exactly? For ripping off half my eyebrow. Instead of trying to fix her mistake or even out the other side, she rushed off to the front desk and left me sitting there. I walked out with two uneven brows, one missing a huge chunk--and as compensation, they knocked $5 off my total. $5. For an eyebrow I'll be filling in and waiting weeks to grow back. Not what I paid for, and not okay.

Tracy saved my hair!!…read more I came in with a disastrous haircut and color and Tracy was able to put it all right. One side of my hair was longer than the other, the color was this terrible orange/reddish brown (not even remotely what I had asked for with the other salon) and I didn't know what to do. A coworker referred me to Presley Laurent so I called in desperation. They were able to get me in the same day and managed to salvage my haircut and color, and I was so thankful that they were able to help me. Tracy did a great job of fixing the mistakes of the previous salon and I left feeling so much better than I did coming in. Thank you!

Elle is a legit phenom! I was terrified of getting waxed (you can guess where) for the first time…read moreand she made the entire experience extraordinarily pleasant. All of my girlfriends had nightmare experiences getting waxed at other places, which only added to my terror going in. Elle talked me through the whole process, set me up for success, and ensured I understood how to take care of my skin afterwards. It's clear that Elle is not only a master practitioner, but she cares deeply about her clients. After the waxing she gave my "honey pot" a full vajacial, and I left with products to take care of the area afterwards. Side note: her skin is FLAWLESS. I'm going to be seeing her for skin treatments (face this time). So happy to support someone with her talent, work ethic, and beautiful spirit. Go to see her immediately. You will be glad you did.

When a flier says that you get a free wax on your first visit, you go ahead and try it out. And I'm…read moreso glad I did. I've been looking for a promising wax center for a long time, and I haven't found any as good as Shobha, another facility that visit frequently (unfortunately they don't have any NoVa locations). So when I'm finally hearing about this place, I went ahead and give it a try. Before we go into the waxy details, can I just say that the facility is VERY European? I'm talking about arch walkways, brick wallpaper. I mean, they did say that the technology was created in France, thus the name, just didn't expect the facility to also follow the design. A pleasant surprise. Now, finally, onto the sans-pain waxy details. They use this "comfort" wax that promises minimal pain since the wax doesn't adhere to your skin. They start with cleaning your area, then apply the oil to avoid the wax to attach to your skin, then the wax itself. The wax hardens quite quickly, and it's dark blue! When pulled, barely any pain. I was in awe. WHAT IS THIS SORCERY? I mean, very very minimal pain. And it took the majority of my hairs out. And mind you, I have thicker hair that I had to shave (unfortunately) during the past 2 months. Terrible mistake on my part, but quickly solved by the technician. Bought the underarm package right away because holy crap, it's a good deal. I mean, quality waxing for under $15/session is sort of ... unheard of. I'm actually looking forward to my next wax. Can you ever say that about waxing? Seriously, I can't wait to get my next wax. In fact, I'll be brave and will go for areas I haven't touched before. Oh yes, we're going there.
