I have been getting my nails done by Quinn for years. I will follow him to any shop, any city. the quality of the nails is unmatched. Shape, length, durability are incredible. I work in construction and no one ever believes me. I recently had to go 6 weeks between nail appointments and my nails held up the entire time. His artistic ability is out of this work. He makes any design that I find even better. I will continue to come to him until he retires. read more

I visited Ombre Nails this past weekend for a polish change. The place was very clean, and all of the equipment was new. (In fact, I noticed one of the people there patrolling and continually cleaning and wiping down everything - it's certainly one of the cleaner places in Vallejo) I didn't have top wait long, and the change was made by Maya. I could tell she was experienced, and was great at what she was doing. I'll definitely schedule her the next time I need a full mani/pedi. (The prices are very fair) Plus - they're open on Sundays! read more

My normal place I go to for gel manis wasn't available & one of my nails needed to be fixed asap so I was frantically searching everywhere at 345pm on a Sunday. I am SO glad that I found ombré nails through Yelp. For one, they only charge $30-$35 (bring cash it's cheaper) for a gel mani, second they were able to get me right in and do exactly what I wanted. One girl started my nails and actually really got into my cuticles and nail beds, which I love. I wanted an almond gel mani & acrylic on the one nail that was semi broke. Instead of her trying to do that shape, she was honest and knew she couldn't and had me go to another chair. I am so glad I did because she made me feel so comfortable being at a new place and my nails looked beautiful. I wish I got the name of the girl who did my nails. :( I really wanna make sure I can go back to her for my next mani! (She was in the first row when you walk in on the right, the third desk, it goes guy, blank desk, her- right next to the spindle of gel polishes.) If anybody knows her name please let me know! Only down side is the area it's in. I felt safe inside but the parking lot is a whole other story. read more

Got another amazing pedicure today, this time from someone new that they just hired! She gave the best massage and gave me a great polish job - I went in because I got a pedicure at a different shop a couple weeks ago and they painted over my cuticles, so I decided to drive over to Ombré since I know they do the best work. They didn't disappoint! read more

Ombre Nails - Mani Pedi - Nail Salons Near Me - Vallejo, California

This nail salon is in a strip mall in an area that required the owners to keep the door locked. Let's take a moment of silence....Inside the shop is actually nice. It's clean, they have good massage chairs that they use fully- massage, whirlpool, leg rests. They make full use of those chairs. They offer drinks to paying customers, which is a very nice touch! The owners are very nice and hospitable. Now, on to the meat and bones of the experience- the Mani-Pedi. I was shocked when the technician wanted to use a power Drexel to remove my soak-off gel polish. It's soak-off to prevent nail damage. I had to ask him not to go to my natural nails with that machine. My pedicure was wonderful! The tech who did it was very skilled and spent a good amount of time on exfoliation and massage. You know those techs who put lotion on the pumice and then swipe at your feet twice before stopping? Not here! The experience overall was pretty good. Then, four days later, my new gel manicure started lifting. Soooo, 3 stars. read more

I've been sick and had to wait a month since my last mani. Danny did such a good job that they lasted and didn't chip or break while growing out. Honestly don't really want everyone to come here because I love having them to myself, but seriously they need the business to stay in business. I suggest you try them once. Today I treated my cousin to a Signature pedi with gel polish. She loved it. read more

I have been in Vallejo for 5years now and it has been very hard to find a nail salon that do a good job on my nails I love a coffin shape skinny tip and no nail shop can get it right. But let me tell you the first time I came here I was hooked my nails lasted the whole 2 weeks , my shape was and always is on point , they are clean and fast this is hands down the best in Vallejo. Quinn , Angela, or Maya . read more

I thought this place was small, it was certainly busy when I arrived, I'm not sure if there's a point to make an appointment since they seem to just seat people as they come. We had to wait about 50ish minutes to get seated, but when we did we got attended by a young man, I'm not sure what his name was, he did a very great job! I only got a pedicure, but he was funny, making conversation, he did cut me a little bit on the corner of my big toe, but no big deal. The end result was great! Just be sure to tell them if you're paying cash to apply the 5% off they have signs that say if you pay with cash you get 5% off, whereas if you pay with card you get charged 3% more. They don't automatically apply the 5% off when you pay cash, but they WILL apply the 3% to your total if you pay with card. I think that along with the cut and wait made me give them 3 stars, but the pedicure turned out nice and I'm willing to come back. read more

Yesterday I called and made an Appointment with Quinn. I was 5 mins late I waited 30 mins for him Started off very welll friendly chatty he kept asking me how I wanted my nails shaped ,seemed to care to get to know the style I wanted. I asked upon arrival do they do designs, he say Yes a d very well anything you want. I open pics he daily's he can't do those unless I change powder color? I choose a simple marble he says ok gave me a quote of $55 asked do I approve. Then he fills on hand and in 2 nd mail on left hand he says today no design for you on polish. What ? Why ? You said you would and told me the price he says I can do for Everybody but NOT you! Go to another shop for designs Fine I'm fuming don't even want him to finish less more paint my nails I was waiting on a fill on my big toe I wait like 15 mins a lady asked what I wanted I told her she starts working on someone else and then says you should wait on a pedicure? I started d up pay and leave Never to return!!! Very shitty way to be treated Beware read more

Wow, too bad they are so rude. I wanted to get a $200 gift certificate for my daughter in laws birthday and they couldn't figure out how to do that. They kind of hung up on me. Been going to Bee for about 4years now and must say I love me some Bee yes this is the best nail shop in Vallejo .

I use to love this place. I come here all the time. I recommend people here all the time because they are fast and nails are always so nice. I always get complicated on the nails like always. This is why I come back. But today was horrible. I want to be understanding about them being short staff and maybe feeling overwhelmed . Today i called at 4:40pm and asked if i can come at 5:10 and maya said yes. I come and im waiting for about 30 mins which I don't mind. I finally get seated at 5:40 maybe. Someone else comes behind me and says she has a fill for 5:30. Quin sits me down he's the man who does nails at the shop and asked me what I wanted I showed him a picture and he said it would take too long like an hour to come tomorrow. I'm like I can't tomorrow. He then looks at the photo and tells me it will be $120 . I felt that he up the price bc he was feeling short on time and he had the 5:30 girl after me, so I said that is too much and I will pick another option. I also had a broken nail. I'm like ok maybe that's not what want. I can sense he was a bit frustrated and I'm unsure why and I kept looking for photos . He kept asking me what I wanted but I could decided bc I was set on the other. I kept asking him what ombré or marble looked like and if he could do it. He told me why was asking too many questions? He said was I interested in doing nails or something? I said no I just wanted to clarify. That threw me off so bad but im like im gonna let slide because I just want my nails done. Maya also told me I should just do French since they can't do Ombre I'm like it's ok I just had French I don't want that. I think she could sense him upset and wanted me to pick something simple for him. I pick a nail picture finally and I asked if he can do it and he said yes. I'm like ok awesome. We're in silent, he's almost getting done and he asks me what do you do for a job and II told him and said that's why ask so many questions. Trying to lighten up the mood. He kept telling me they were short staff and I'm like ok I understand. I thought everything was fine. Finally he's painting my nails and it doesn't seem similar to the picture so I tell him I don't like them and if he could just stop and just do French. He exploded! He said no why are you doing this to me. It's almost 7 o'clock. I'm like I just don't like the color and can you just do French please. He started telling me that he didn't care if I was smart that smartness didn't matter here'. Not once did i mention I was smart. He then says I don't care if you went to a university and not once did I mention that. I told him I feel like you're frustrated with me but I don't know what I did wrong. I never once raise my voice I actually felt very awkward and anxious because I'm like what should I do. Mind you I never speak up bc I'm anxious about telling someone I don't like my nails but I felt like I should today bc I hated them. He's yelling at me. I told him pls just take off the nail polish and I'll pay for everything else. He gets upset and everyone starts talking in the shop in another language. He then sends me to another man who was so kind. He is taking off my paint and I told him can you just paint it white. Quin hears that's I said that and starts yelling no white just take of paint and leave. I again didn't say anything bc I this point you wasting my time and i don't have time to be arguing with someone I did nothing to . He is angry and maybe over worked and I can't fight with someone who will not hear me out. The other man laughs and still does my nails . He paints them and I pay the $50 plus tip $5 bc it wasn't that other guys fault. I left I said thank you and I felt super overwhelmed leaving. I don't understand what happened and why he acted like this towards me. I come all the time and I've never had anyone do me like that. Everyone just watched and I felt embarrassed. Not one of the workers stepped in at all and I was left shocked. At one point i felt like I needed to leave but I just felt stuck and didn't know what to do. I feel like it could've also been a language barrier. Like he didn't understand what I was saying and maybe I didn't understand what he was saying. Who knows but will never be back I felt so yucky after all that happened. read more

I went to get a dip powder removal and have a french manicure. I showed the man doing my nails the picture of what I wanted and stated specifically that I wanted the white tip to be thin. The one thing I asked for he didn't even do. I didn't ask for a crazy design, I literally just wanted the tip to be thin. I do not think my nail tech was qualified to do nails. He did not file or cut my nails properly as they are uneven. I will not be going back to this place again because what I asked for was so simple I'm amazed that it was still not done correctly. read more

Had a relaxing "bomb spa pedicure" ($45) at Ombré Nails today. The salon's atmosphere is friendly with a good R&B soundtrack playing in the background. Bee was efficient & gave me a good foot massage. The massage is mine & probably everybody's favorite part of getting a pedicure. Bee was sure handed & didn't rush through any part of my pedicure which I really appreciated. I'm new to Vallejo & happy to have found Ombré Nails. I will be back. read more

New owners who currently has a grand opening going on . Its crazy how i came across this place . I noticed one of my favorite nail tech no longer available at a salon i was going too. Too my surprise i found her here and it just so happens to be a family owned buisiness by her sister & hubby. Bee is an awesome nail artist and from the work of her sister & hubby it all runs in the family. This family buisiness has been open for 2 months . The place is clean and just a very vibrant vibe. They also are so up to date with all the nail designs you can think of. Everything brand new and fresh. Im so glad i found Bee because she always gives me a hand massage after every manicure and it makes it even special lol. May they continue to have many clients and be around for a very long time. Go check them out you wont be disappointed. read more

If you're looking to get a quality, meticulous gel manicure done, stay away. I came in for a gel manicure and will not be coming back. I don't remember exactly who did my nails, I think her name was Thuy? Anyways, the entire service (gel removal + gel manicure) only took 40 minutes - it was so rushed. The work itself was really mediocre. The nail shape was awful (I filed them myself to fix). The cuticle removal was awful, she even cut my finger and it wouldn't stop bleeding. There was no nail primer applied! Simply a base coat, two color polish coats, and a top coat. I am used to other places doing primer, base, 2-3 color coats, and 2 top coats. Lastly, she was so rough with everything, I had to ask her to be more gentle with the service. Overall I do not recommend for a pleasant gel mani experience. read more

I got an appointment for 5:30. The man on the phone was kind. I got there a couple of minutes earlier and they immediately sat me down. I was very pleased. However the man and woman who did my nails rushed. I was told he couldn't do French tips on my toes. So I said no problem let's do white. He rushed through my toes and ended up cutting me several times. I did not make a fuss. I simply said ouch. My toe continued to bleed for the entire time. He ended up showing a ripped cotton ball in the cut with a green substance that burned. He finished my feet and didn't put a dryer on them which I thought was odd. Then woman who did my full set pushed for gel. Which I did not want. I she also didn't tell me to wash my hands. So I had white dust all over my hands. Overall I think they were a little standoffish and they could be a little more considerate. But nonetheless I appreciate them taking the time to do my nails. read more

With all of the 5-star ratings, I was hoping for a great experience. However, it was anything but.
