Every time I come here the lady tells me how much my set will be before she even starts. The last two times I came here I paid $95 for designs that's had more to them than the set I got today. The photo w the blue and black design was $95 and the set I got today the nude brown stripes was $105. The lady didn't tell me anything about the price when I sat down and showed her what I wanted I go up to the front and she tells me it's gonna be 105 I asked her how my last set was less expensive and I had the same ombre designs plus two 3-D flowers. It had a tiger print nail with ombré and it had gems on it as well and she couldn't explain it to me. She got her manager and the manager just said oh well different designs cost different prices. I said OK I can pay it. That's not the issue. The issue is I'm asking for a breakdown and then she just starts throwing numbers on the calculator and not explain explaining it to me clearly and she's clearly frustrated. Another thing is that everybody in here has a damn attitude for everything. I like the work they do but it seems like they just charging out they ass whatever numbers sound good to them. No thank you. UPDATE. TWO OF MY NAILS POPPED OFF IN LESS THAN 24 hours.i called and went back and they fixed 4 nails for free because two more were lifting. I pointed out that they were lifting after less than 24 hours and the lady got mad and gave em attitude and started talking bad about me to her coworkers. It has now been 5 days and another nail is lifting. I wasted my time and money. I'm not driving back 40 minutes to get this fixed again. I won't be back. read more

The day before a trip, I went to Nails Design for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. During the service, I noticed the technician was not using a UV light to cure the product. When I asked about it, he simply shook his head. By the next day, while on a trip, several nails had chipped and broken, and within two days the product had lifted from nearly all of them. This cost me additional money and took time away from my vacation with my husband and family to have them redone. This was also very painful. As you can see in the photos, my nails broke quite far down when the product chipped off. Because I was out of town for an extended period and had commitments when I returned, I could not visit Nails Design until today. When I explained the situation, the manager repeatedly insisted I should have come back sooner, despite my explaining that was not possible. I received no apology and felt dismissed. After a lengthy discussion, the manager agreed to redo my nails at no charge. However, after the service, the technician told me I would receive only a 50% discount. I explained that this contradicted the manager's agreement and that I had accepted the pedicure only because my nails were to be redone for free. The technician honored the original agreement, and I paid a full tip for both services. Problems can happen in any business, but what matters is how they are handled. Rather than taking responsibility and apologizing, management repeatedly blamed me for not returning sooner. If you have had good experiences here, I am glad. However, I cannot recommend this salon. The poor workmanship, damage to my nails, and the manager's handling of the situation made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. read more

Probably the poorest manicure I've ever had. I opted for the delux service that included paraffin. Thought I'd try it since my hands were so dry. The problem was that the paraffin wasn't completely removed from my nails before polish was applied. On the way home noticed polish wiping off! Did not wear my glasses. I showed up for my appointment Monday, 11/24/25 at 1pm. Upon arrival I was notified that I did not have an appointment and she wouldn't be available until Wednesday (11/26/25). The girl I go to is named "BiBi" and they first messed up by confirming an appt I made with her several weeks ago to find out she's been on maternity leave as soon as I arrived for my appt. Then they give me a nail tech who obviously didn't know what she was doing. My toes look like a teenager did them. I politely asked her if she could fix it and according to her she couldn't. FYI, I went hiking a few months back so my Big toe is messed up, but she couldn't do anything to "fix" the look of the gel polish and offered to remove it if I was unsatisfied. They make up prices as they go along. There are no prices posted anywhere, which might be illegal? You can come in one day and get charged one price. But when you return several weeks later it will be higher. There were only a few times that my nails were ever done to my satisfaction. They're not the friendliest bunch either. You can tell that their talking about you. A friend of mine who speaks their language went in there one day. She told me they say really mean and nasty things about customers. It is not surprising all the ppl in these shops do it. The place could use maid service. It's loud and ghetto. I've been getting manicures and pedicures for over thirty years from various salons. This is a first for me. I do not recommend them for anything. I received a manicure on the same day, March 19, 2021. My nail still has a black mark from the infection site. They have too many customers in such an enclosed area. This is my third and final time coming here. I literally left minutes ago. I usually get the deluxe but after spending all that money on my first two visits and the job was not well done I decided to give them a 3rd try and get the classic pedicure. I started going here about 2 years ago when I first moved to Vallejo and I'll tell you I have never been disappointed walking out of here. I now live in Antioch and I commute 2 hours- there and back because I will not step foot in another nailshop. This by far has been the only nailshop where I can come and get every service (nails, feet, eye lashes, and eye brows) I need at the same shop. The energy of this nail salon makes me feel comfortable, from being acknowledged when I walk in, the good music and the great service. Kevin is the BOMB when it comes to nails. He's up to date on all of the latest trends. Half the time I go in I don't know what I want but I trust him so much I tell him to just do whatever and I'm always in love.
