The nude color polish wiped off the left and bottom of nail

Probably the poorest manicure I've ever had. I opted for the delux service that included paraffin. Thought I'd try it since my hands were so dry. The problem was that the paraffin wasn't completely removed from my nails before polish was applied. On the way home noticed polish wiping off! Did not wear my glasses. On the other hand, my friend had her acrylics redone and they look great.

U don't see the terrible job you just did? Automatically gets bad review from me I'm not gonna waste my time pointing every single flaw. You are a nail tech, do your job correctly! Not to mention that, he literally pried my old nails off my real nails after I said I wanted soak off. The disrespect. I already know they were talking s+++ in their language, I don't even care. You get bad review period. Don't come here.

I honestly have never had an issue coming here since moving to Vallejo. The girl I go to is named "BiBi" and they first messed up by confirming an appt I made with her several weeks ago to find out she's been on maternity leave as soon as I arrived for my appt. Then they give me a nail tech who obviously didn't know what she was doing. My toes look like a teenager did them. I politely asked her if she could fix it and according to her she couldn't. FYI, I went hiking a few months back so my Big toe is messed up, but she couldn't do anything to "fix" the look of the gel polish and offered to remove it if I was unsatisfied. Unfortunately for me I had an appt at 6:45 so by the time she was finishing up they were closing. I asked her again if she could fix it and she simply said, "no we are closing" . So I didn't leave a tip and I will not be coming back

I love this nail salon. The employees are sweet and very patient. The salon is clean and is updated.

The lady cut my nails down real low and then picked at the skin until it bleed.

After years of coming there. I have to be honest and say they are no longer a good nail shop. The prices are high and the ladies doing feet are old and do not care. My feet was left bleeding and I was still charged. SMH. I will no longer be driving from Oakland for this service.

Went in because I was in the area and needed a fill. Rose did a fabulous job on my feet and the experience was absolutely lovely and luxurious. The lady who did my gell fill on my hands....terrible. I dont even want to take a pic because its so bad. I had to file my nails myself afterwards bc she was super sloppy. Side note: she was also sick and it made me super uncomfortable. Thank you Rose once again....Thank you to the other lady who kept bad mouthing me in vietnamese because I tried to correct her sloppiness. You will not be missed.

I've been going to this nail salon for a while now and they never disappoint. The service is always solid, and the staff is professional and consistent every time I come in. Also, the woman who does eyelash extensions is hands down the best in Vallejo. If you care about quality and want your lashes done right, this is the place to go. read more

The day before a trip, I went to Nails Design for a pedicure and dip powder manicure. During the service, I noticed the technician was not using a UV light to cure the product. When I asked about it, he simply shook his head. By the next day, while on a trip, several nails had chipped and broken, and within two days the product had lifted from nearly all of them. This cost me additional money and took time away from my vacation with my husband and family to have them redone. This was also very painful. As you can see in the photos, my nails broke quite far down when the product chipped off. Because I was out of town for an extended period and had commitments when I returned, I could not visit Nails Design until today. When I explained the situation, the manager repeatedly insisted I should have come back sooner, despite my explaining that was not possible. I received no apology and felt dismissed. After a lengthy discussion, the manager agreed to redo my nails at no charge. However, after the service, the technician told me I would receive only a 50% discount. I explained that this contradicted the manager's agreement and that I had accepted the pedicure only because my nails were to be redone for free. The technician honored the original agreement, and I paid a full tip for both services. Problems can happen in any business, but what matters is how they are handled. Rather than taking responsibility and apologizing, management repeatedly blamed me for not returning sooner. If you have had good experiences here, I am glad. However, I cannot recommend this salon. The poor workmanship, damage to my nails, and the manager's handling of the situation made this a frustrating experience from start to finish. read more

When I first discovered Nail Design I was thrilled. Little is a great nail tech. However, I called over the phone and booked an appointment with her through Kevin. I showed up for my appointment Monday, 11/24/25 at 1pm. Upon arrival I was notified that I did not have an appointment and she wouldn't be available until Wednesday (11/26/25). I had an event to attend that day, but I was inconvenienced and left to pick up the pieces without any accommodations. This was very unprofessional on Kevin's behalf. read more

So I had my Vietnamese best friend on the phone with me in my ear bud while I was sitting in the pedi chair today. She said the technicians were saying racist stuff about the African American women in this establishment. Ladies, you work so hard for your money! Do NOT give it to people who do not care for you! I've been to Vallejo salons AND salons in the nicer towns and guess what they ALL CHARGE THE SAME. You might as well go somewhere that actually gives good customer service. I would definitely venture out to American canyon Fairfield or Vacaville instead. What my friend told me they were saying made me SICK TO MY STOMACH. They make up prices as they go along. There are no prices posted anywhere, which might be illegal? You can come in one day and get charged one price. But when you return several weeks later it will be higher. There were only a few times that my nails were ever done to my satisfaction. They're not the friendliest bunch either. You can tell that their talking about you. A friend of mine who speaks their language went in there one day. She told me they say really mean and nasty things about customers. It is not surprising all the ppl in these shops do it. The place could use maid service. It's loud and ghetto. If you are looking for a clean, classy, affordable establishment to get your nails done, stay away from here. read more

Got my lashes done yesterday and hate them nothing like what I showed her . I'm so irritated she did what she wanted to do . I live way in Marin had to get back to Marin after my appointment wasn't able to really look at them they are so ugly . Never again I'll find a lash tech that is able to do my lashes how exactly what I show them. Can I give a zero star rating?!! My left toe became inflamed and infected after a pedicure from this busy nail salon. I took a round of antibiotics because the infection wouldn't resolve itself. I've been getting manicures and pedicures for over thirty years from various salons. This is a first for me. I do not recommend them for anything. I received a manicure on the same day, March 19, 2021. My nail still has a black mark from the infection site. They have too many customers in such an enclosed area. The air is so thick with the smell of chemicals that it is difficult to breathe indoors. Goodbye Nail Design. read more

This is my third and final time coming here. I literally left minutes ago. I usually get the deluxe but after spending all that money on my first two visits and the job was not well done I decided to give them a 3rd try and get the classic pedicure. The girl clipped my nails and lightly scrubbed my feet. I was in the chair no more than 15 minutes and was done. I told asked her why was she oiling my legs and you barley scrubbed my feet. She spent more time on my legs than feet. I do not recommend this place. I know people highly recommend but I beg the differ read more

The only nail shop I'll go to in Vallejo!! They are reasonably priced, clean and great customer service very nice and chill. They can get real busy so I always call and make an appointment but I know they do accept walk ins. Kevin always makes sure I'm right. Always makes sure I'm satisfied and I enjoy the great conversation. Can't go wrong with Kevin in the nails and Tom on the feet! I've been going to then for years and would highly suggest them!!! 5 stars because I couldn't give 10!!! read more

I love coming here! It is literally a one stop shop! Nails, pedicures, waxing, eye lash extensions! Love it! I just don't like that their prices seem to change just because they can! Other than that...you can show them a pic of nail designs that you like and they can make it appear on your nails! read more

Hannah or tay yay usually does my nails but yesterday I went to get my nails done neither one of them We're available to do my nails so I let another nail tech do my nails worse decision ever the manager Kevin was unapologetic after the nail tech clearly ruined my nails and displayed poor attitude and unprofessional demeanor after not even caring about my complaint I always spend over 100 bucks easy every time I come there the last couple times Kevin tried to over charge me And my friend when the nail tech had already gave the price they are also a little racist in my opinion and I definitely see why Quinn left there customer service has gotten absolutely terrible I will not be returning at all read more

First time at the shop! Service was quick even with a pack facility. I waited for 10 minutes or less and was seen. I requested black gel polished. The nail technician filed and cleaned my nails as I liked. I think adequate time was giving under the UV nail light. Now that I have left the shop. I can see what my nails look like under the sun. Please see my photos... The polish actually looks dark blue not black, but hey it can be As you can see from my picture there is polish underneath my nail. I'll be working to remove that. The layers look consisted throughout. I will be returning, but next time I just know what to look for before leaving. I would still recommend. Update: Kevin implemented a check in process! So proud of you!!!! read more

Only a 3 star because they took advantage of a guy getting his daughters nails done. The workmanship is amazing (see the picture attached). They charged $186 for 2 full sets plus tip. We called afterwards since I thought that was expensive and they said o. The phone it would be $50-$60 each. It is our fault for not asking ahead of time. read more

Hands down, this is definitely the best nailshop in the Bay Area. I started going here about 2 years ago when I first moved to Vallejo and I'll tell you I have never been disappointed walking out of here. I now live in Antioch and I commute 2 hours- there and back because I will not step foot in another nailshop. This by far has been the only nailshop where I can come and get every service (nails, feet, eye lashes, and eye brows) I need at the same shop. The energy of this nail salon makes me feel comfortable, from being acknowledged when I walk in, the good music and the great service. Kevin is the BOMB when it comes to nails. He's up to date on all of the latest trends. Half the time I go in I don't know what I want but I trust him so much I tell him to just do whatever and I'm always in love. Tom and Cindy are really good at pedicures... They always keep my toes pretty. Jenny is great at eye brows, lashes, and brow tinting. Although this nail salon takes Walk-Ins, if I were you I would always schedule an appointment because they're always crowded due to being in such high demand. read more

Dear Nail Design, As much as I regret to state my resignation as one of your long-time loyal clients, I must bid you adieu. I will always remember everything you have done for me and the lessons I have learned under your care for the past few years. For example, I will never forget how you continually book appointments. Yet, have me wait 35 minutes to an hour. Meanwhile, asking "do you want a pedicure". To cover for your disrespect of my time. Although, your work is excellent and your staff pleasant. At this point in my life, time is precious. Wasting time sitting in your shop waiting is non-productive and not part of any of my goals in life. As one of my New Years resolutions dropping Nail Design, is one I can definitely keep. Happy New Year! read more

BACKGROUND INFO: - my SO's elderly grandfather (95 years…read moreold) was in dire need of a pedicure (extremely overgrown toenails) that he indicated he'd been trying to get addressed for several months - initially my SO's brother and his SO were going to address it, but backed down - my SO's sister and I scheduled an appointment on Friday 6/16 to go to a trusted nail salon, but on Wednesday 6/14 the grandfather backed out of it, insisting on finding an in-home service so he'd be in the comfort of his own home WHY WE WENT WITH SOULTREE: - Wednesday 6/14 evening I went on Yelp to search for "mobile nail service" vendors and opened up a project to cast a wider net - Nicole Williams from Soultree messaged me within 20 minutes of my Yelp project opening, providing me her name and phone number to call and schedule an appointment - out of all the mobile nail service vendors, Nicole was the most responsive and the most professional (she has a website and an IG page) CUSTOMER SERVICE (SCHEDULING COMMUNICATION): - I called her shortly after receiving her message and spoke to her on the phone - after our brief phone call I texted Nicole; our communication was mainly via text afterwards - after sending her recent photos of my SO's grandfather's feet (as part of the virtual consultation), she suggested the nail care package and provided an extensive description of service(s) pricing and accepted payment forms (i.e. PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Apple Pay) - she indicated that she would possibly have scheduling conflicts due to waiting on confirmation of an internship, but opened up her weekend availability to service my SO's grandfather on Sunday 6/18, which also happened to be Father's Day - after confirming the appointment for Sunday 6/18 at 10AM, I sent Nicole the $150 deposit (applied towards service; non-refundable if canceled or not available for appointment time) + $65 travel fee via Venmo - I provided her with the address + parking information (FYI, clients are responsible for any/all parking fees) and contact information of my SO's sister (I was just the point of contact for finding and scheduling a vendor, but my SO's sister was the point of contact for accompanying the grandfather for the actual appointment) CUSTOMER SERVICE (APPOINTMENT): - Nicole arrived promptly at 10AM; my SO's sister was present for the duration of the appointment and reported that everything Nicole brought and used was clean, the conversation was ongoing between Nicole and the grandfather, and the end result was great COMPARING/CONTRASTING INFORMATION CRITIQUE: - Yelp indicates that Soultree's hours are Monday through Friday from 8AM-2PM, Saturday 8AM-12PM, and closed Sunday. Soultree's appointment times per the website under "Nail Services - Book Online" also indicate 8AM-2PM appointment time availability. On the initial phone call with Nicole and subsequent text communication she informed me she only accepts Monday through Friday 8AM-12PM appointments" - Her website indicates that her travel fee is "$35 and up depending on service location", but via text she indicated that her travel fee is "$65 or $0.75 cents a mile and up depending on location once address is confirmed" - Via text, her suggestion of the pedicure package was the "Specialty Nail Care Package #2"; further in the text explanation it states "Just Toenails - $150 per hour". On her website there are "Mommy Packages" as well as "Basic Manicure/Basic Pedicure" or "Spa Manicure/Pedicure" Packages at different prices - I would suggest that Nicole ensures that all platforms containing her pricing and scheduling availability is consistent and up to date TOTAL: - I sent (via Venmo) the $150 deposit + $65 travel fee = $215 - SO's sister sent (via CashApp) the remaining balance ($150/hour) and tip = $200 - $415 was the overall total
