I came here on Saturday 1/4 at around 12:45 pm and needed to get a full set. I've been to this particular nail salon a couple times in the past and had no complaints. I showed the nail tech my inspo pic (right picture) -- I told her that I just wanted the brown french tip on almond nails, something simple that I thought would be easy to recreate. Unfortunately, the results (left picture) did not meet my expectations. The nail tech drew the french tips in a "V" shape, which wasn't what I asked for. At the time, I didn't think much of it and thought maybe it'd be something that I would eventually grow into. It wasn't until I got home when I realized that I was not happy with my nails no matter how much I look at it. On the bright side, the salon wasn't busy, so I didn't feel rushed. However, that makes it more frustrating because there should have been plenty of time getting those simple french tips as shown. Later that evening, I ended up going to another salon in Vallejo to have my nails repainted, which was an extra expense but way better. I really wanted to love my nails, but this experience was disappointing, and i'm hesitant to come back. read more

Find Mindy. She is soooo good at what she does. I have never had my nails done so well like Mindy does it.

I recently moved into the area & have been looking for a new nail salon. I decided to try out Perfect Nails Spa for a gel manicure & gel pedicure. I love the way my pedicure came out, she was very detailed & just an overall experience. However, my manicure was not good at all. The lady was sweet, however, she barely shaped my nails, ZERO cuticle care at all & the paint job... HORRIBLE. Yesterday I noticed the gel is peeling off. It did not last at all. I will not be returning. read more

The lady who did my nails did a good job BUT tried to overcharge me for something I did NOT request. I chose a $50 solid gel pedicure that I vocalized I wanted and pointed to on menu itself so there's no confusion. Why did they try to charge me $80 so casually? Another woman spoke for the woman who did my nails & said they were charging me that price because "they forgot" what service I picked and thought I asked for a deluxe pedicure package???? read more

Love Vicky !! She does the best nails !! Never have any problems with them !! All my pedicures are great as well.

I only come here for my pedis all the way from Benicia. Staff is soo sweet and i never leave here unhappy w my pedis. Its so relaxing and quiet in here and I will definitely make the drive as long as they're here! read more

Today is the last time my mom and I will ever patron here. Not because of their work on the nails but for the disrespectful comment in their native language. If they have ever made you feel like they were talking about you as a customer in their native language, you're probably right. On my first visit, I was fat shamed, and today, I was fat shamed for the 2nd time. I decided to address it after the lady felt that I didn't tip well enough. My blood boiled, and I counter her comments, letting her know I understood what she said as I was vietnamese as well. Of course, she denied it and said I misunderstood. As she deflected, I continued to let her know she had lost our business and would never spend our money here again. Customers want to leave the nail shop feeling beautiful and not to leave feeling ashamed or ugly. read more

Service is always great, and the quality is always top-notch. It's always clean, and it's very well maintained, which is really important to me. The nails at this salon are always excellent and impeccably clean. Every time I leave, my nails look flawless. They take the time to make sure every detail is perfect, whether it's a manicure or pedicure. The polish is applied smoothly and evenly, and it lasts much longer than anywhere else I've been. They use top-quality products, and you can tell they take pride in their work. The staff work super hard, and you can tell they truly care about what they do. I've mentioned this place to all my family & friends - I think it's amazing. What I love about it most is the personal side to it - the family that runs it is so generous and welcoming. They are always cracking jokes and making my entire family feel at home. It's honestly a bit like visiting friends, rather than going to a salon. It's just one more reason I keep coming back - I know I'm always in good hands! Great service, professional work; if you are looking for a home where you are treated like family, this is the spot to go! read more

My friend recommended this salon and my experience was great. It is clean and prices are fair, and great service!

Really good service! I made it to my appointment this morning for a full acrylic set, I was unsure of this place just because I've never been here before, and I'm usually very picky about how I want them shaped/filed. I walked in, told her the color of my dress and the occasion I'm getting them done for, she tells her co worker what to do, and I was surprised with something I ended up loving. They Match perfectly to my dress, and I'm very satisfied with the communication they give. Everyone was so nice and easy to carry a conversation with. Not to mention the prices are very responsible. Definitely recommend this place, I will be going again in the future. Ps. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the names of the nail techs. read more

If I could give no stars I would! These ladies are rude. I walked in and they appeared nice. I asked for a full set, they kept trying to get me to do Gel. I said NO. Their attitude completely changed. I selected what I wanted, which was silver glitter tips with powder . She use paint instead, painted my whole nail. I mention not what I want. She tells me "charge more for powder" continues to paint my nails. One coat and one coat clear. Tells me I'm done. No lotion nothing. My nails are rough and bubbly. I tried taking a picture. It came out blurry. She also made me bleed with the electric filed thing. I was so ashamed of my nails. I keep hiding my hands. My husband thought I did them and said they are horrible I should had a nail lady do them (I used to do my own acrylic years ago but tossed the stuff after moving)... read more

I love the service and staff here! They go out of their way to make sure you are happy and like the color/shape. This was my first time doing ombré nails, and the first color was too pink for my skin tone, so another nail tech came over to find the perfect base to match my skin tone (caramel 12) and I love them so much! It's the extra care and attention that really makes a difference for me and it's much appreciated! read more

Came to get my nails done here a few times and was happy. Today was the opposite experience. They were very rude, when they removed the set they had done previously I had a fungus in two of my nails. The nails were sore and they were being very ruff. When they put the new set on I showed the length and shape I wanted. I was distracted trying to pick a color and look up to see a very ugly short uneven shape. When I asked her to fix she said it would be an hour wait. After already being here for over an hour. Sweating because there's no air conditioner and flies swarming you. I said I didn't have an hour. So she said go somewhere else. Very unfortunate because I thought I found my nail salon home. Won't be back again. read more

I used to be a loyal customer to this nail salon. I won't be returning anymore. I should have went to my normal spot, but I was pressed for time and figured might as well since I still had my stamp card. The guy that started on my pedicure was definitely not trained for this line of work. He cut my toe nails crooked (not a steady hand), didn't shape them well (almost all are square) and pulled on my cuticles to take them out. He didn't use any cuticle softener either. It was so bad that mid way in the middle of my pedi another girl took over and finished it. Honestly just wish she just did it from the start cause at least she knew how to shape a nail. So now my left foot has box toes where my right toe nails are shaped. I also opted for a mango pedicure for $40 which had the benefit of the paraffin wax. But I didn't get much of a massage as in less than three minutes per leg. It was such a joke. My massage gun I have at home does a better job. And the nail polish is also quite old because she had to put on at least three coats for the color to come through which made it thick. It was a waste of my time and money. I'm happy I found a better spot than this place. I will happily take my business elsewhere. Save your hard earned money and find another nail salon. Trust me. read more

Really short nails but they are too thick. Came in for a full set as you can see they are supper short and charged $60 when I was leaving lady said and my tip?I did not leave a tip 1. She literally used the same nail clip to cut my nail that her co worker was using right next to each other. Then as I was leaving she was "cleaning" the station for her next client she put the same towel she used on me at the table for her next person. Same clippers and all the same dirty tools. EDIT: Day 8 and I'm 3 nails down... if that's not enough for you to stay away consider that they don't sanitize anything before you come in. ***Day 6 and one of my nails is polish free. I was sweeping the floor and heard a crunch. I picked it up and it was a WHOLE NAIL of dip polish. Don't do it. Tried this place once and never again. I decided to try dip for the first time and it didn't even last a week. I showered and one FULL nail is now back to my natural nail. I only realized when I was changing. What a frustrating experience I've had here. First of all I had a hard time communicating with the young lady doing my nails. I tried hard to explain what shape I wanted for my nails and she just didn't understand. I came back to have them reshaped to be all uniform. Second, for a dip manicure I noticed that their tools aren't sanitary. They just have them in a drawer and reuse it. I'm glad I didn't end up getting cut cause that would have been a nightmare. Third, the dip manicure didn't come with any sort of massage or even lotion. Now I'm new to dip but after filing I thought I would have to rinse my nails at some point and apply lotion at least, but nope. Fourth, why did she put gel on top of the dip? My nails ended up being thick and I kept telling her THIN please and she kept saying okay don't worry. Fifth, the girl kept getting my skin when filing with the spinning file. I kept saying ouch and pulling my hand and she kept going. This is honestly the worst manicure experience I've ever had. I wish I had a different experience. But sadly I'll NEVER come back. $55 down the drain. Please learn from my horrible experience. read more

The pedicures are wonderful and relaxing with massage chairs. But when I had my nails done they both seemed to be rushed jobs. I prefer when they take their time and make sure your entire nails are covered correctly and this was not the case both times. But I didn't realize it until I was at home checking them out. So make sure they done rush through their job when they are helping you. Everyone was nice and friendly though so not sure if it was the time of day when I went. read more

This is my third time coming here. I am always pleased every time I come in. Very in expensive for a really nice job. Today I got a new acrylic set, ombré, and coffin shape for $50. I believe it's the ombré that made the cost go up a tad but it looks great! I've gotten my toe nails done with regular polish the last time I was here. The service was so-so. I am extremely disappointed. I came here after a bad expense with another salon. I found found good nail lady. But I don't know what happened. She literally told me it was my fault for typing that nails broke. I got my nails done. I drive from Oakland to AC for self care. The last couple of times she had an attitude with me. And rushed me. I dint mind it. But honestly after this I .never going back. MY nails broke after 2 days of getting them done. A nd Vicky had the audacity to tell me it was my fault my nails broke. Yeah no honey, if you actually did it correctly my nails wouldn't 9f broke. It's a disappointment. I grew my nails and now lost them because she didn't do a good job. read more

Ok this place is really hit or miss. My nail lady no longer works here and the lady I had do my nail (dip manicure) which is very straightforward left so much space between my cuticle and the dip that it looks like I already need them done again! Having spent $177 between myself and my fiancé to just get a buff shine I am severely disappointed. I hope they contact me and make this right. Not happy with my experience in regards to workmanship! Furthermore it's cracking I mean what the! If anyone is reading this and knows of a more reliable nail salon in the area please tell me! read more

When California allowed salon services, my mom and I were very excited to see that this place was open. My mom and I need a lot of TLC when it comes to our pedicures and we've been to a few salons in American Canyon that we like, but I especially like the way they do gel pedicures. Jenny is very sweet and she does an EXCELLENT job at fixing my big toenail. It got stepped on many years ago, fell off, and never grew back normal and getting a pedicure to make it look good was a struggle up until I went to this nail salon. My grandma has dementia but we take her here to get a mani pedi and the staff are also very sweet and patient with her. Love this place! read more

I was already in the area and I noticed this nail salon so I figured I'd walk in and see if they had any appointments available for a pedicure. I was very confused on entry as she was already asking me to write my name down and phone number. I get this for contact tracing and such, it makes sense. I was asking how long the wait would be and all they would tell me was to sit down and wait. I figured I wasn't in a rush anyways so I sat down and within a few moments I was taken back to a pedicure chair. They provided me with the samples of colors and I picked a gel glittery pink. She got the color I noticed that it was nothing like what was advertised and got a pink to put under the glitter(she did not even consult me in regards to the under pink or ask if I liked her selection). Here's where things start to take a turn. As she was tending to my feet she clipped off skin around my toes excessively to the point where I flinched and she apologized to me on several occasions. Then she blamed me because I have such small toenails. While I was sitting in the chair getting my pedicure she had received a phone call for an appointment. The woman wanted a 630 appointment and was specifying certain details and wanted to spell her name the technician wearing the banana apron who seems to run things hung up on her and laughed. When my toes were finally finished they weren't even the same color and the gel polish was so thick that it basically popped off in a matter of days. I mentioned this to her and she blamed me for picking a thick glitter. In my personal opinion if this was thick and she knew such she should've explained this to me and maybe provided me with alternative options. I can definitely say without any question that I will never be back at this facility. It seemed shady and the employees were extremely rude. I've been getting pedicures done for 20+ years and I've never had such a bad experience. I do have small toes. I have small dainty feet. I should not be ridiculed for such when I'm trying to get a service. read more

I used to go here often since it's close by my house but the past few visits weren't pleasant. My last and final encounter was with one of the nail techs where I showed her a reference picture (from their OWN business yelp review) and she did a horrible job. It wasn't even close to it. She was really rude as well and she had the nerve to charge me 40$ for their SNS that looked very unprofessional. I told the manager and she blamed me and told me to come back tomorrow to get it fixed. Ended up just getting sns French tips and never would I get sns again. It doesn't look right at all. Beware, their very money hungry. read more

I came here by recommendation of a friend and man did they not disappoint! My standard nail style is coffin with an ombré French tip and some glitter. I've gone to over dozens of places up and down the California coast and NOWHERE compares to Perfect Nails Spa! Amy was my nail technician--she is truly an artist in her work. I use to go here when it was called Canyon Nails and owned by Lisa years ago. Since she left, it had gone downhill fast. Since then I've been going to mediocre nail shops in the area so I thought I'd give Perfect Nails a try since I live so close. Rose is such a sweetheart and she did the most perfect shellac nail job I've ever had done. She was very meticulous about getting the perfect edge around my cuticles. Maybe she took her time because I was the only one in there, but who knows.... I'll definitely come back here to test that theory Reason for only 4 stars is because the owner ( forgot her name) filed my toes so hard she cut me! Ugh! Thank god Rose took over read more
