I'm so disappointed. Been coming here for some time now, and today I walked in and felt as if I was a bother to my nail tech. I walked in said hi to her, she ignored me. As she was doing my nails the only time she talked to me was to ask me if I wanted to cut my nails short/ wanted a design. She handed me the nail color book in such a rude way. Oh and for the other new girl that started working here not so long ago has gotten many complaints on her pedicures. She looked me straight in the face and mugged me? Like? I was so sad , I was looking forward to my nail appointment all week. I will not be coming back. On to the next place.
Jenny is absolutely amazing. Super sweet and pleasant. Everytime I've gone to this salon Jenny is the technician that does my nails and every time I bring her design idea for my nails she executes it PERFECTLY!!! She also really quick...Jenny is super talented. I love it here. The vibe is also really chill and relaxing...I almost fell asleep while she was doing my nails lol.
JENNY has made me not want to return to anyone other nail tech! I usually hate to cheat on my nail tech but she truly gave me the best experience! I'm very particular about my nails but her & her sister are real artist! They got the gift from their dad. I always travel for work so my nails need to have longevity with their existence. My last set from Jenny lasted from October 2nd - November 13th (today). They lasted over a month and my nails were still healthy under! The place is very clean and professional. Everyone at this salon is very clean, talented, experienced, and polite! You won't regret coming. I've researched every nail salon in the Bay Area through yelp and this is the best one! Please go for me while I travel long distance. I will also be making a return anytime I come back to the Bay. Best Place with the best people!
I have been coming here for almost four years and i absolutely LOVE my nails everytime! I have grown to know Aimy and Jenni over these last couple of years, and they are the sweetest, most understanding, and warmest nail techs out here! I personally make appointments with Aimy, and she is a miracle worker! I personally get embarrassed and am not very vocal if I don't like something about my nails, but if I ever do mention something , she is always so understanding and is never rude! I also do tend to get more intricate nails, so I appreciate when Aimy let me know that it is beyond the scope of her ability and gives me as much time as I need to look for another set! She is the BEST! 10/10 the BEST NAILS spot in vallejo!
** UPDATING MY REVIEW: because he messaged me about this review and now I wanna show u guys what's going on. Please look at screen shot. I have never dealt with unprofessionalism all my life. The way he said I'm bad person?? How. I still paid u with the hair I hate. He didn't even wash my hair right! Look at this gunk that's stuck in my hair!! I just wanted a refund to fix my hair that's all. I barely cry, but today I have cried because of how horrible my hair came out. I told the hairstylist exactly what I wanted to be done. He said he could do it for this price and he could book me in, so I was really happy and excited because the same day I have somewhere to be and I'm planning to look good. Over seven hours I have been sitting on that chair and it was "my time in a month" for me so you know it was a real uncomfortable situation to the point where I had to change my pants because I was sitting for so long. In the pictures, you will see our messages to each other and what I told him I wanted, and what my hair look like and how it came out after. He told me he could not lift it anymore. I had a hairstylist before him who always get the job done but because I wanted to try someone new and not make that far drive to my hairstylist I wanted to give him a try because I seen his page his work look good. If he could not lift my hair, he should've told me right when I sat down on that chair because a lot of of hairstylist, they examine your hair and they ask you questions. By the way, my hair has grown out so it was virgin hair so I don't understand why he couldn't lift that. He did give me a lower price instead of $550 I paid $380 but honestly I should have paid nothing because he done wasted both our time and my hair. He cut my hair so short about 5in when I told him I just wanted like a small trim like maybe 2 max because I want my hair long. He was being so rough with my hair, like dragging it down with a very small comb, pulling my hair. . And I did felt bad because he did waste of his time but remember he wasted my time too and I'm The one who has to look at this ugly hair and I have to go out tonight looking like this when I absolutely hate how this looks. It honestly look like my hair did not change besides, maybe it looks smoother and shorter that's it, but what I want it is nothing like what he gave me. Another update: after washing my hair, it became so thin and stringy. It broke apart after every brush. It was so damaged. Idk what he did to my hair but my hair is completely fried now.
One word: Jenni Jenni does such a great job on design and shaping! All you have to do is show her your inspo photos and she'll work her magic. Just got my birthday set from her (my theme was green) and it's my most favorite one yet! I've been going to her for years. I moved away for a while, went to another nail salon (DID NOT LIKE IT), and as soon as I moved back I was back in Jenni's chair. Peep the birthday set!

I did a walk-in requesting acrylic full set. They greeted warmly and I was seated immediately, it was a Tuesday afternoon but I was very pleased with the work Jenny did. She was quick and efficient and did exactly what I asked for. I was in search for a new nail salon close to me and now I think I've found it! read more

JENNY has made me not want to return to anyone other nail tech! I usually hate to cheat on my nail tech but she truly gave me the best experience! This was my first time here, Jenni did an amazing job on my nails! She worked quickly and efficiently, got the job done, and delivered exactly what I wanted. She was also super fast at removing my previous acrylic nails, which I really appreciated. Definitely recommend her! read more

I called last minute to see if Jenni was available, who I've seen get praised a lot on this platform, and they were able to accommodate me the same day! I only resort to nail salons when my nail tech is not able to accommodate me but coming to this place was definitely not a disappointment. Jenni was able to make my nail inspo come to life in a short amount of time, I can already tell how amazing the quality is! Something to add on, she's also really nice read more

Ty Van Hoang is a fantastic, master hairdresser. He specializes in bleaching and colors. I'm beyond impressed with his work; been following him on Yelp, since he worked at a previous beauty salon. I finally found him here at MBS, and he had an opening. He took excellent care of me, and paid extra attention to my hair's needs. The before and after photos speak for themselves. Truly worked his magic. I mean, look at how pretty he made me. Magic Beauty salon has been open for 4 month now, offering hair, nails, and pedicures. I'm so grateful he took me in such short notice, as he's always in demand. He left me feeling special, and honestly not all hairdressers do that. He is a master hairdresser. read more

LITERALLY CANT DESCRIBE HOW amazing Ty is !! Ty is not just a hairdresser he is a freaking amazing artist !!! I am a very skeptical person, i can never make up my mind but Ty's confidence trans passed to me and literally made me feel super comfortable and helped me get the most radiant look ever! I went in there looking like a homeless and came out looking like jennifer lopez! I seriously LOVE my hair ! This is my 2nd time going to this beauty nail salon, Aimy did my nails the first time and Jenni did my nails the 2nd time. Both Nail techs did not disappoint. I show them an inspo picture and they follow it so well and effortlessly. I'm so happy with how it both turned out! This will be my new go-to nail place... it's also pretty affordable, fast and efficient. And the vibe in the salon is great, everyone is friendly and welcoming! Thank you again! read more

Honestly, my go to spot. Followed Aimy and her husband from another nail shop I was committed too. First time they did my nails ( mani and pedi), I was so impressed by their work. The shaping, the time it took them, and the ability to match my design requests. So happy to see them in their own shop. Everyone who works here is very talented and one thing I love is how they are staying up to date on nail trends. For example, the acrylic nails they use help provide that shape most people want/request for. Sometimes it can be a wait, even if you book an appoint with them but they are still growing and it doesn't effect how attentive they are to each customer. read more

I have been going to this salon for almost a year now (recommended from a coworker) and I can say they are amazing! Jenny usually does my nails and she never disappoints! Aimy has done my nails a few times and she is great as well! Every inspiration picture or design I show Jenny, she can do effortlessly. I always love how my nails turn out and if there is something I want to change she is very understanding of it. She always makes sure I'm happy with my nails before I leave. She does my nails fast but with precision and is very gentle, not rough. The whole staff has good customer service and the place is neat and clean.
