Had my hair for as long as I could remember and wanted to make some changes. The haircut and style turned out great! It is a good balance between subtle and new. I have a newfound love for myself. Ana is very sweet and always makes sure she is doing what you want with your hair. She is also great with communication and is gentle during the process when I told her I wore a hearing aid and got new ear piercings. Her hair salon is clean and very relaxing; I fell asleep while getting my hair done. read more

I recently had to find a new professional for my color and cut. I read all reviews and decided to give MiBelizza a try. This was the best decision I have made in a long time. Ana Barajas has designed this intimate and lovely studio adjacent to her home. It creates a serene and peaceful environment with no drama and no intimidation practices of other salons. Ana listened to my requests, showed me some hair colors that would compliment my goal and.... AMAZING....the color is fantastic and I can't say enough of the incredible cut. I walked out of her Hair Studio feeling like I just struck gold! It is hard to take a selfie that shows off the cut and color, but this will give you an idea. read more

Ana is amazing! She listens and asks questions in order to create the desired result. My hair gets damaged a lot with hair products and sun exposure, so having a trusted hairstylist is such a difference maker. Ana is truly a gem and I'll definitely keep coming back to her. Ana has been my hair stylist over the past year and I've loved every single cut she has done for me! Recently I've decided to try and perm my hair, and I've always been nervous to drastically change my hairstyle, I originally had wavy/straight hair, and had the results of a well done perm by the end of my appointment. Ana has genuinely blew all my expectations and I've grown to love it even more as the day has passed. She is very kind and talented and I'd recommend her business to anyone! read more

I've been seeing Ana exclusively for over 5 years now. I found her when she was renting a chair in another shop and I wanted to chop my waist length hair off. She helped me choose a chin length A-line bob with an undercut and she supported me through the frightening process. When I saw the result, I knew I had found a stylist I could trust to ensure I always look my best. In the years since that day, I have watched her develop her own salon space and she has taken my hair on many more adventures, including a plethora of colors, cuts, highlights, balayage & deep conditioning. I have never regretted a singing visit with her and I always look forward to our time together. She also began cutting my daughter's hair when she was 6 and she is incredible at helping her choose her cut and teaching her how to maintain her style. Ana is patient with my little wiggle worm and educates us both on the best way to care for our hair types. She stocks a wonderful selection of hair products and hospitality items such as coffees, teas, water, snacks, etc. read more

My hair looks exactly how I wanted it ! She also advised me well how to really take care of my hair because I have very curly thick hair. She is so friendly, professional, checked in with me with questions on how exactly I wanted my hair and her studio looks so amazing! Also did an absolute incredible job on my eyebrows! She did such a great job I'm so happy. She will be my regular hair/brow stylist! I just Love Ana!! read more

I came to see Ama from a recommendation from a friend. I had got some poor highlights at another salon and wanted to get them corrected. First off let me tell you that Ana is just a doll. She's very friendly and welcoming. Her salon is in her garage at her house, so very cute, nicer than some high end salons. The most important thing though is that she really knows her craft. She listens and understands your vision and makes it happen with ease. Im never going back to salons. This is my forever hair dresser. Excellent service, great prices. Give her a call, you won't be disappointed. read more

I don't think anything I write can really do Ana justice. I have been trying to find the right person to be MY-PERSON for what feels like FOREVER! I have had so many people cut my hair. None were terrible but none did exactly what I had wanted and granted much of the fault was mine. I am not great at explaining what I want, mostly because I am not great at describing what my hair does when it decides to behave. Otherwise, it doesn't look like it does what I say it does. I also brought in the product I use and she didn't snub it, she was curious about it and even praised how well it worked. I was amazed by how she treated me, she asked me questions about my hair as if I was the expert of my head. Which I guess I am. I love this woman! I have been singing her praises since I had my hair done and I am sure my children and getting sick of listening to me rave on about her. It is settled, she is now MY-PERSON! A great perk was it didn't break me money-wise, she is reasonably priced. I can NEVER understand why it always cost me before $80 when my hair isn't much longer than my husband's and they take maybe .5 of an inch. Oh last but not least her little home shop is just as upscale and beautiful as any downtown shop. SHE IS THE BEST! I am going to suggest her to EVERYONE! read more

I found Ana on Yelp and the reviews weren't exaggerating. I contacted Ana via text and she responded right away. Luckily, I was able to get an appointment the next day. The salon is out of her home and you can park right in the driveway. As soon as I walked in Ana was very nice and friendly. She understood exactly what I wanted and gave me several tips on how to keep my hair healthy. This is not to kind of salon you come in once and never return. This is the salon were she becomes your hair dresser for several years. Most of her clients have been with her ten years or more. She completely understands curly hair. Now a days it's so hard to find someone that just doesn't want to straighten curly hair. Embrace your curls ladies let Ana help. I have never walked out of a salon with beautiful curly hair until Ana. She is a miracle worker. Love my curls!!!! I got a hair cut and hot oil treatment but I know she does it all. Price was reasonable depends on hair length and type. Definitely returning. Thank you Ana!!!! read more

Ana is amazing! Went to her yesterday for the first time. Love my haircut! Thank you, Ana!!

Ana was sweet, nice and knew her craft! She was able to correct my "too dark" almost black hair dye and return it to my light brown hair color and perfectly covered my grey hair. That was number 1. Number 2 was trimming my long curly hair. She cut my hair perfectly as we are letting (some one else) stair step chop grow out. She undercut the bottom as not to let it hang lower than the rest. For a first visit, she passed all of my picky tests. Lol. Good job Ana! I highly recommend Ana and booked two more appointments. Note, she books a month out and is Covid vaccinated! read more

Ok so, wow just wow! Amazing work by Ana. As you can see she did a great job with my hair. I love the outcome!!! I can't wait for the next coloring session. Originally, I wanted to have a keratin treatment, haircut and blonde balayage, but we exchanged text messages and she explained everything as far as how much time it would take, the costs, and just everything. I then decided I would do the keratin treatment first. When I walked into her salon which is in her garage, she immediately explained to me what a keratin treatment was and that she thought I wouldn't really need one because my hair is already straight. She recommends it for people who have frizzy, unmanageable hair. Well I wanted a keratin treatment because I thought that it was like a permanent hair straightening treatment so that I wouldn't have to iron my hair all the time. She said that after keratin, that I would still need to iron my hair but it's just going to be much easier and would remove the unwanted frizz. Basically, it's not a process to straighten hair. She then told me that a Japanese hair straightening treatment is the one I would need if I really needed my hair to be straight straight, but she doesn't do one. Sooo, we decided to just go on and do the balayage I wanted for my hair. I showed her the picture (the one I attached here), and she worked her magic. Look at the before and after photos of my hair that I uploaded. It's pretty close to the hairstyle I wanted given it's only one session. If you're looking for the perfect balayage for you, go to Ana! Just a heads up though, it took us a while to get my hair done, so plan on staying there 3-4 hours depending on your hair length. It is also a little expensive, but it's very worth it! I also love the fact that her salon is just an extension of her home, it made it feel like home to me. She's very warm, friendly and welcoming, so book your appointment soon!!! read more

Ana is amazing. She actually takes time to find out about you and your hair: how you like it styled, what type of products you use, how it has been styled before, etc. No one has ever done that before. And, wonder of wonders, she doesn't try and sell you anything. Her home-based studio is beautifully appointed and very welcoming-just like Ana. Thank goodness I took my time looking for a new hair salon. I came across Ms. Ana and saw her pictures and of course her reviews. She did 3 color to blend on my hair. After 3 hrs ....I was very impressed and happy I also love it, also my hair felt so healthy. AGAIN and AGAIN I am ABSOLUTELY happy with not only my hair but with my hair stylist. Many times I don't want to think of what I want to have done to my hair and I just tell her. It's sometimes complex with me but Ana listens to what I have to say. And consistently she hits the bullseye. ATMOSPHERE: Ana's place is warm and welcoming added with her chic touches. There is coffee and tea even a fireplace with music in the background. It gives a soothing experience that willingly offers hospitalitity and serenity. PRICE: Ana's cost is reasonable and she ALWAYS goes beyond what is expected of her. I LOVE that I can count on her knowing that I will walk out not only feeling better about myself but looking FABULOUS. Everyone says you tell your hair stylist everything. I can say that Ana will not only listen but gives impartial input to whatever is spoken with truth, grace and love. She has earned my trust and full confidence. If there's ever a concern, she is approachable and does whatever it takes to correct it. I was and am still so thrilled that she has opened up this lovely business that expresses all of her. Professional and personable with the traits of Humility, Kindness and Excellence and laughter and fun also. When I leave I feel not only beautiful but I am ABSOLUTELY HAPPY. I've written a review for Mi Belleza Hair studio before but for some reason Yelp deleted it, which isn't fair to Ana because she deserves it! Ana has been my hairstylist for years and boy am I glad to have her as a hairstylist, it's not easy to find someone who knows how to work with thick, curly hair like mines. We've been through so many different looks together, her hands are truly magic! Whatever I want she makes it happen! Shes transformed my hair from a terrible box dye job (that I decided to try and do myself) to a beautiful blonde color. She's given me a highlighted/ lowlight look, a medium length bob balayage look, everything! I get bored of the same look fast and I love to change it up and Ana always knows just how to do it without causing damage to my hair. She's always honest about what'll work for my hair type and what to expect and I've never been disappointed. It really sucks that Yelp deleted my first review, but here some of the magic that Ana has worked on my hair read more
