She seemed to have an attitude, making it feel like a do-or-die situation, which was uncomfortable for me, especially given my previous negative experiences. To make matters worse, she appeared unfriendly, lacking a smile, and had a serious demeanor with a heavy accent that contrasted sharply with the person I had been communicating with. It felt as though she was disinterested in being there, and she ignored me upon my arrival, despite having an appointment. Her behavior made me feel uncomfortable enough to question my trust in her ability to work on my brows. Despite my discomfort and my explanation of why I couldn't trust her, she insisted that I pay her, even though no services had been rendered, no contract was signed, and there was no discussion of pricing, which had been settled during our phone conversations over the past week and a half. Her insistence on payment, despite the lack of services, was highly unprofessional. As I left, she glared at me the entire time, which only added to my discomfort. As she left, she glared at me the whole time, holding her phone as if she were recording me. She kept giving me side glances and looked at me as if I had done something wrong. Her expression was the same as when I first entered the establishment. Always trust your instincts. I must warn you, do not seek any services here. My friends cautioned me, but I ignored their advice and had to experience it for myself. There is no way I would trust someone like this to work on my nails or eyebrows. The lady cut my toe nails way to far back and even tried to clip them further down before I stopped her and said they don't need to be clipped any further. I have come here twice now. I will not be going back. The first time I came in to have a dipped powder manicure removed and a traditional manicure. It went just fine. My second visit was 2 weeks ago now. I had a gel mani done to honor my little niece who just died. When the mani was done, it looked good. I liked it and was pleased. However, as the days went by, my nails began to have big tears that were high up. They weren't there before I had my nails done here. I take biotin and my nails are pretty strong. However, I started getting nail breaks very high up before a week had even passed. Also, the edging started pulling up on the polish before a week. I DO NOT pick at the polish either. Now it's 2 weeks, and I've never seen a gel mani that looked like this. It's pulled up everywhere. Also, I have 6 nails breaks. Yes, SIX!! I'm giving them 3 stars because I am disappointed that I spent $30 on the mani and it didn't hold up. It was pretty for her funeral, and she would've loved it. I am new to the area and have tried several nail salons. Vivian and Julie took care of my in grown nails. I haven't had painful toes for the last 4 weeks. I was looking forward to getting my nails done for the first time in a long time. I normally like to just get gel, but because my nails were freshly bitten, I opted in for a short full set. Overall the nails look nice, but my cuticles were minimally worked on, there was no lotion or massage with my manicure, and I specifically requested short and round nails, and instead got medium and square. I am very picky about how long my nails are but even more so about the shape, so it was a little disappointing to be seconded guessed on how short or round I wanted them. Still not the worst place I've been to, and if I was a little bit more laxed about my preferences I'd probably leave 4 stars. Editing to add that after talking with my cousin, she also charged me $10 more than she normally does for full sets (even when she gets them longer than I did), but my cousin had just assumed it's because I said yes to a manicure before the full set which a) should already be included but, b) she didn't even really give me a manicure. Before finding Vivian at NV Nails I would constantly leave salons frustrated and feeling like I wasted my money. I seriously went ALL over Napa chasing Yelp reviews, and my nails would still come out uneven. I finally stumbled into NV Nails and haven't let anyone else touch my nails since! Vivian is meticulous & pays attention to detail - my nails are alway perfectly even and she's willing to step out of the box and try something new when I have a crazy idea (example: ombré pink and white in matte which turned out great & she'll be doing for my wedding day as well). I'm constantly getting compliments on my nails now & recommend Vivian to everyone! The super pedi is also AMAZING - don't be afraid to splurge on this one. I constantly wear sandals & my feet show it... but they have never felt as amazing as after the super deluxe pedi (can't recall the name, but you'll know it when you see it). NV Nails is an honest business that takes care of their clients - you're offered a bottle of water upon walking in & anytime I have broken a nail the staff fixed me right up & had me out the door within minutes. Wow! I'm sitting in here getting a deluxe spa pedicure from Kim! She is so thorough. I haven't had a pedicure in over a month and she has spent her time getting excess skin off my feet and really taking care of me. She is friendly and gentle and is taking her time. I don't feel rushed at all, which is something that can encounter in nail salons. From the scrub, to the callous remover, to the paraffin wax and hot towels, she is awesome. I have a blister on my foot but she has gone around it and made sure I am comfortable which I definitely appreciate! While roaming around Napa, I decided that I wanted to pamper myself and get my nails done. Thank you Yelp for helping me find NV Nails! I came in around 6 PM and they were not busy at all so they took me in right away. I started with my pedicure. Barbara took really good care of me. She helped me get seated and then gave me a water bottle to drink throughout the appointment. I couldn't believe how well and careful I was being treated during my pedicure. Barbara was very careful around my ingrown toe nails and made sure to cut my nails precisely. There is a massage that comes with the pedicure and Barbara really worked her hands on my feet and calves. The massage was the longest one I had in any pedicure package. She also took her time in painting my toe nails and made sure each brush stroke was smooth. I was delighted with the results! More people started coming in and soon it was 7 PM (closing time). I still had to get my acrylics done and was afraid that it wouldn't be done. Although the other ladies, including Barbara, left at 7 PM, Vivian (the main nail artist), stayed with me. She apologized for the long wait and started on my full set. I told her that I was very sorry for keeping her past hours. Even though her work hours were done, she took her time on my nails and made sure that they were exactly what I wanted. We had a very smooth, and exciting conversation with each other while she worked. She was careful with the buffing tool (which can be really damaging to your nails when getting acrylics). I showed her a picture of the design that I wanted and she delivered it completely. Throughout the process she would constantly ask if I liked the nails or if I wanted something different. She drew a heart on my nails and erased it around three times because she wanted to get it perfect. Vivian is really patient with her clients and wants them to really love their nails. I was thrilled with my full set of acrylics and my pedicure. I would definitely recommend coming to NV Nails because they will take good care of you. Consider making an appointment because they can get really busy on the weekends! It was about $72 for my pedicure + acrylic full set + gel on top + design. I told my pedicure lady that I'd like my nails trimmed (I always do), but she cut my nails so far back beyond the quick to the point of BLEEDING. She wanted to cut even FURTHER and I had to tell her STOP because my big toes were in pain from her trimming too far. So not only will it take days for my toe nails to grow back to point of not hurting anymore, but the polish job was atrocious - cuticles not trimmed, lumpy layers & chipped polish. No discount was offered for the terrible job they did on my toes. I told them the job was unsatisfactory so they "corrected" my toes. And these pictures reflect how they "corrected" my big toes. Thu did a great job on my gel manicure and regular pedicure. I've gone to other salons where they slop the gel onto your cuticle - as soon as any water gets in under the gap between the cuticle and polish, which is just about the first time you wash your hands, the polish starts to come up so the gel manicure lasts only a week or so. Thu carefully polishes your nails perfectly. I'm on week two now and they look great still, even through skiing and yard work. The toes look great, too. The salon is very clean and spacious which feels nice and Thu greets you with a bottle of water. Thu is also very kind and ethical and encouraged me to continue to patronize her previous employer's shop if I liked. Highly recommended - Thu did a great job for a reasonable price. read more

Their front door was left open for fresh, flowing air, it smelled clean with the lightest, fresh cleaned clorox scent. They have clear plastic curtain barriers between the tech and the client. My husband and I were visiting Napa and decided last minute to get pedicures. It wasn't the worst I've ever had but definitely not the best. I wouldn't go back. They used an electric foot grinder which I'm not a fan of and they absolutely did not change the file pad between clients (eww). I told them to please not use it on me and they were irritated. The massage was more of a gentle Pat (we got the $45 pedicure) that they rushed through and I could have done a better paint job on my toes and that's saying something since I'm 35 weeks pregnant.
