It was our anniversary weekend in Napa, so hubby and I walked into Green Polish around 1:30 PM on a Friday, hoping to both get pedicures. Unfortunately, they could only take one of us, so my hubby walked around while I stayed for a luxury pedicure. My feet were definitely in need after all the walking we did in downtown Napa. The place is clean and welcoming with eight nail stations and eight pedicure chairs. They offer complimentary water, wine, and snacks, which was a nice touch. The pedicure chairs are super comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing. Soft music played in the background and the TV was on mute. I had Saidy for my service. She was a bit on the rougher side, but not unkind. The part that threw me off a little was when she said I'd be getting a 25 minute massage. She started the timer, applied cream to my legs, dropped something and then said sfed be back and walked away. I noticed the clock ticking down by the time she returned, four minutes had passed. I was tempted to ask if she'd reset the clock since the prep should've been done beforehand, but I decided to just relax and enjoy. The massage itself was ok. I've had better and while the foot soak, hot stones, mask, and hot towels were nice, my right heel still felt a bit rough afterward. When I paid, I let the front desk know the service was just ok and still left a $5 tip. Overall, it's a lovely spot and a relaxing experience. read more

My partner and I went here and each wanted manicures. We had appointments and were seated right away. I opted to add paraffin wax to mine and she added gel polish to hers. I feel like the service was way over priced. They charged 15 dollars to add the wax but the worst part was that the girl exploded the bag of wax all over me, my shirt and my pants. She did apologize but then they still charged me for the entire service and the wax add on. When I asked the workers around us how to get it out of my clothes I got 3 different answers and nobody seemed to care that they just ruined my 75 dollar pants and 50 dollar shirt then proceeded to charge me 80 dollars for just a basic manicure and wax I didn't even get polish. When I walked out and my hands dried you could clearly see that my cuticles weren't hardly touched. My partner really liked her manicure but her nail polish came off in just a few days and we spent almost 200 dollars for two basic manicures. I would not recommend this place nor will we ever go back. There is too many nail shops in Napa to give these people any business. read more

After my last experience I won't be back. I probably had about 5 appointments here. I was satisfied with my first few visits but it slowly started going downhill. I don't live in Napa, however it 's close enough for me to make the drive when planning ahead. Slowly my experience started changing and eventually it was evident that my business and money wasn't important. There were a few times where my appointments were rescheduled as I was on the freeway heading there. Once was due to the Memorial Day holiday and them not wanting to work late, DESPITE the books being open online and the appointment being confirmed by the owner (when you book online the business has to accept/confirm the appointment). The second time I was told that the nail tech was taking longer than normal resulting in them being behind. I was forgiving about the second cancellation because the appointment was originally set for the day before. I had an emergency come up and reached out over 45 min before my appointment time to see if I could push the appointment back by 30 minutes. After three unanswered calls and multiple text messages I heard back 10 after the time that I was scheduled for. We rescheduled for the next day but as I was 15 minutes into the 30 minute drive I got the call that they wouldn't have time and needed to push it back another day. It was the reschedule of that second cancellation that turned out to be the final straw for me. I paid about $120 for my nails including the tip. The gel polish started chipping the next day. I had experienced chipping when getting my nails done here before but it was usually minimal, usually after a week or so, and usually not enough to warrant a drive to get it fixed. Essentially - I considered it normal "wear and tear." This time around was different, the paint started chipping the next day and by the second day it had become excessive. This time I did want my design fixed considering the price that I paid. I reached out 2 days after the appointment to inquire about coming in to get them fixed. I wasn't rude about it at all, I asked if there was time on two different days for me to come by. I didn't want to walk-in and throw off their schedule, especially since I had a preferred tech. I was disappointed and irritated by the lack of a response. It came off as my business and money not being valued and I left a review here on Yelp after not hearing anything for SIX DAYS. I started receiving calls / texts in less than an hour after that. The reason that the manager provided for the delayed response was that he had been out of the shop for the earlier part of the day and was just seeing my message about my nails. The timeline could've been a coincidence and I'm not even sure the original review was seen but still... BOMBASTIC SIDE-EYE. Six days had passed and being out of the shop for half of one day doesn't account for the other 5 days. In efforts of ensuring that I am transparent: I didn't respond to him. I was irritated, the timeline of the response was shady and disingenuous, and honestly I was insulted by the excuse. By the time I heard back I was preparing to go out of town and needed to pivot my energy. The nail tech also reached out to me to tell me she'd fix it. Once I was settled and out of travel mode (2 days later) I asked her about a date. She responded and advised that she was under the impression that her manager had already handled it, which threw me off again because I had not talked to him. At that point I decided that I'd just leave it all alone and I ended up paying to get my nails redone elsewhere. The nail tech I was booking with is talented, I'm wishing her well career-wise. I don't want to include her name in this review because I don't feel that this issue is on her. There were multiple colors in my design and the part that came off was one specific color, unfortunately it was one of the main colors. Because of that I blame the product quality, I loved the actual design. I assume the techs use the products made available to them. There are other reviews complaining about the polish so it isn't just me. When the issue came up I reached out to the main number since that's the line that had been used on all previous communications. It's the manager that emphasizes the 10-day guarantee when you're checking out so it was the manager I expected to hear from. I'm giving them two stars since I can't give 1.5. The half of a star is due to the fact that I did eventually get some sort of response, albeit almost a week later. I normally don't leave bad reviews, and felt so bad about doing so initially. I deleted the original review and debated writing this updated one. Ultimately, I think it's fair to share this experience. I know of someone else who wasn't impressed with their experience here as well, but their thoughts are theirs to tell. I really love my nails, but for the lack of length and design I would've never expected to pay $115. I was originally going to be charged $135 but I opted out of getting charms due to finding the price to be insane. I understand I was asking for more detailed/complex nails but charging over $100 for nails these short and small is a bit absurd. Additionally, the nail salon isn't the "cleanest" in Napa as they claim online. I doubt I'll get any infections, but brushes, drills, and nail files are seemingly used across multiple clients as they were dusty and stained when used on me. On a positive note, the nail techs are all kind, hospitable, and talented. To clarify, Sophia did my nails beautifully, not Jonathan, I'm unsure as to why the receipt states his name. I'm glad Sophia at least asked if the price was okay so I could opt out of charms to save money. I've tried many salons in town and this was the most inviting so far I really appreciated how friendly everyone was. Sadie was my nail tech and she did an amazing job! Her work was better than the inspo pic I showed her. She was also very flexible and didn't mind when I changed my mind a couple times. I also loved that she frequently asked me if I liked what she was applying before she proceeded with the rest of the nails. We came here on Sunday, August 31st. I had a 10am appointment but still had to wait about 20 minutes to be seen, which was frustrating since we had spa appointments scheduled right after. I went with my mom and we both got a classic manicure and pedicure. The service was disappointing from the start--they didn't use any cuticle cream or oil, just water, and everything felt rushed and careless. The tech who did my services, Helen, was rude. She kept staring at me and huffing and puffing as if she had an attitude, which made me uncomfortable. My nails and cuticles also turned out poorly--my cuticles are normally well-kept, but they left looking dry. Just days later, my manicure already looks rough (picture attached). The worst part was my mom's pedicure. The nail tech cut her toenail, causing immediate pain. My mom told the lady right away, but she acted like she didn't care. My mom then told the manager/owner, and he was rude and dismissive. All he offered was a $10 discount, which meant nothing given the situation. We just paid and left, but we definitely won't be returning. Later that day, my mom's pain got so bad she had to go to urgent care and was prescribed antibiotics. Thankfully she's okay now, but this should never have happened. I would not recommend this nail shop. read more

I also have only posted a couple times and am compelled to share as I read reviews when looking for a new nail salon. I ultimately went back to have my dip and gel removed and my nails trimmed short. This service was both painful and shocking at how unfamiliar the tech was with this process. Photos attached. I had been twice before and a third time to get them fixed due to peeling only a couple days after I got them done. I believe you could get lucky with their 1-2 skilled technicians, but otherwise I wouldn't count on a good manicure unfortunately, especially for the price. Side note the weird AI music is creepy. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened, so I called for a last-minute appointment after work and I'm so glad I did. My nail tech, Queenie, was amazing! Super patient, efficient, and kind. She helped me pick the perfect color and took her time making sure my cuticles were cleaned up and the polish looked perfect. The salon itself was a little tricky to find since it's tucked away in an alley, but once inside, it was super clean, welcoming, and cute. Worst spot at Napa. I went in to the solan and asked for a simple french tip with a small side 3D flower. The nail tech that I got made my design and nail placement crooked. I also asked for them to be short, and she ended up saying that with the filing it would get shorter. They nails ended up coming out way to long even though I asked multiple times to please make them shorter and the flower design came out uneven with one being bigger than the other. Extremely Disappointed - Poor Service & Overpriced I rarely leave negative reviews, but after multiple bad experiences, I felt compelled to share. This salon promotes a mission of "Skilled Hands, Professional Attitude" and "Transparent Pricing - No Surprises," but my visit was the complete opposite. To start, my nail tech rushed through my service so fast that she made my finger bleed with the nail drill. I had to point out jagged edges and poor shaping -- things that should never be missed by a "professional." I came in for a fill with my usual almond shape, but they tried to charge me $5 just to shorten the nails, calling it a "specialty shape." That might make sense if they were creating a new shape -- but shortening an existing one? Feels like a cash grab. They attempted the same upcharge on my mom without telling us upfront. So much for "transparent pricing." I specifically requested a certain tech for my pedicure and was instead given someone else who didn't even fully remove my existing gel polish. My toes looked bulky and uneven -- totally unacceptable for the price we paid. Speaking of price, they eventually agreed to remove the shaping fee (as they should have), yet still charged us $250 for services that were rushed, sloppy, and inconsistent. And the worst part? No sense of care or concern from management. It's extremely disappointing to spend over three hours and that much money, only to leave unhappy -- again. Also, I booked my appointment online, but when I arrived, no one knew what I had booked. How is that not unprofessional? Sadly, their mission statement reads more like marketing fluff than a reflection of how they actually operate. Poor service, unclear pricing, unprofessional staff, and a lack of accountability. I am so upset. I came a few days ago for a gel pedicure and when I left I was told that there was a seven day guarantee if there were any problems. Well, it's a couple days later and the polish is mottled. I called and came in and they agreed there was a problem but wanted to put the same polish on and charge me extra if I wanted a different polish. I explained that I don't want to take the chance of this happening again with the same polish and would prefer something different. They let me walk out with this terrible manicure and pedicure... I did not have my glasses on so I didn't see the detail until I came home... and when I came back and the manager, he did not apologize or to redo it on the spot and make everything right... He took pictures of my nails and my toenails and acted like he was doing me a favor by saying that they would redo both the manicure and pedicure... I told them 3 times that I had to leave at 11:30. Neither my pedicure nor my manicure was done on time. He didn't file my feet, no cuticle oil, and no massage. Obviously I complained so they didn't charge me. They offered me a voucher to come back but NO THANKS! The place is beautiful but don't waste your time or money here. Instead, It was made clear I was judged for having a full set done elsewhere and simply wanting a fill. After waiting 25 minutes, the main technician handed me off to the pedicurist, clearly unwilling to provide service. I ended up walking out without being helped. Had a great experience here with my husband. We both got the luxury pedicure, and it was super relaxing. The ambiance was great. The place seemed very clean and was nicely decorated.
