And when I do, it's because I didn't take the proper after treatment care steps. My bad. And my brows always look perfectly groomed and naturally full! Yesterday I went in for my first extraction. I had a blackhead go rogue and erupt on my cheek. The experience was not at all what I expected. She did a full cleansing prep before, and she used a vibrating paddle tool on most of my face. Most my my pores are completely clear, and she cleared out blackheads that have been there forever. The MONSTER zit was also drained with little pain and zero bleeding. Then she followed up with a radio frequency treatment and these fabulous frozen globes. This morning it was still angry, but this evening it's nothing but a crusty reddish spot. I have done every kind of nail I could think of, acrylic, gel, gel x, dip, manicures, pedicures, and pretty much every length and variety of designs over the years. But, nothing can surpass the genuine care Phong and his crew have for his clients. Just recently, my mother in law was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. She fought for several months and was in the hospital for her final days. She requested to have her nails and toes done in pink before she went to be with the Lord. I messaged Phong asking if he would consider coming to the hospital to fulfill her request and he did not hesitate to come through. He and Van showed up at the hospital that same day and with so much care, they did my mother in law's nails and toes. She passed away the very next day. This place has become more than just my nail spot for me, it is now a very special reminder of what it is to go above and beyond. Their genuine kindness surpasses anything I could have ever imagined in these past five years of service and I will be forever grateful and a loyal customer. She thinks of the client's comfort first, and is practical and honest when offering advice, even if it means telling the client to give their lashes a break to promote growth! Instead of upselling, she listens and takes into consideration the needs of the client. I took a 3 month break from lashes this summer, after 9 months of near-continuous fills. Michaela noticed the change since I started seeing her, and had great suggestions for caring for my fragile lashes. Through her advice, I even was able to start growing back brows that had been lacking since a bad wax in college. My first set since the hiatus is beautiful. She mentioned that she changed lash brands since I last saw her. These lashes are super soft and light, and look so natural. and it's been 2 weeks since application, and they are still holding strong.

My lash tech had gone in to labor early so I was freaking out since our scheduled fill appointment was a few days later. I yelped eyelash extensions in the area and came across Michaela's business with a 5 star rating from several people. Michaela was so nice and super professional. Her room in the salon is so relaxing and beautifully decorated. I was so relaxed, I even fell asleep a few times during my lash application. Michaela seemed very knowledgeable and shared a lot of tips... I was so hopeful that I found a replacement tech while my normal lash tech was on maternity leave. I even scheduled an appointment. Mind you, my lashes coming to get filled were on for 4 weeks already and just starting to look like I needed a fill. They looked great after she finished but she mentioned one side had less lashes than the other so she didn't fill the other side as much to even out the eyes... once I got home I looked an the ends were bare. Those are the ones that usually fall out first so I was kind of thrown off a bit. The next few days were upsetting... they fell out left an right! I woke up to lashes on my pillow, I'd be talking to someone and one would gal on my cheek (embarrassing) a week later they looked like I needed a fill ALREADY! They looked worse than they did when I first went in for a fill. Thank goodness my regular lash tech called me and said I could come by to get them done that Friday. Needless to say, those stayed on great. It was weird that the ones Michaela put on fell out so quickly, but the ones my regular tech put on again, lasted over 3 weeks. Michaela texted me a week later and said she lost all her appointments, please remind her of the scheduled appointments we had. I mentioned they all fell out and that I wanted to cancel my appointment... she never responded. If you're looking for a beautiful environment, quick responses, and a nice, professional lash tech, but for your lashes to only last a week, Michaela is your girl... You can't have it all...
