I love it here! Alan treats me like family -- always patient, professional, and welcoming. I truly feel like I'm at a high-end spa because of the special care they give to my feet and nails. They also offer facials, and their prices are very affordable without feeling "ghetto" like some nail shops in Vallejo where there's cursing and loud music everywhere. I went in for the first time there to get a gel pedicure and full set acrylic gel. I was instantly greeted and treated amazing by the staff, they are so friendly and welcoming. Not only is the nail shop spacious but it is very clean. I had my toes done by Rose and hands done by Daniel. I am obsessed with my nails they did a great job at shaping and painting them. Got lucky and came in and met Kathy who did my pedi and Alan who did my nails. They were able To work at the same time. The salon was pretty empty but very clean. Kathy and Alan worked quickly and did a great job. I especially wanna shout out Alan he didn't file my skin while using the nail file I told him I needed him to be really gentle because my skin is very sensitive to that and he was very gentle and did an excellent job! Did not cut into my cuticles like I would of liked and berly cut my nails after I had asked for shorter. I believed I payed $60 do this service with gel. A different guy took over after to polish. So now I'm confronting with oh no Fiona doesn't work here anymore and I politely agreed as I had already waited! Bad decision on my part!!He did a rush job because his next appointment was waiting did a sloppy hurried job!! He thought he was being nice but I can read people he doesn't like being told when he did an opposite job of the shape I told him I wanted! David did my pedicure this last time and he also was very detail oriented and was sure the light gel color I selected looked like the color on the sample. It was worth the money considering that I got more of a leg/foot massage than what I recently got at the Cache Creek Spa. I chose to not have any color/polish and the manicurist did her best work cleaning up the cuticles and trimming my nails to an even squared edge. The fine buffing work and attention to detail makes my nails look and feel clean and fresh. The place/salon was fairly clean and simple. I think they are going for a luxe look/theme with the chandelier and the silver colored pedi chairs with glittered bowls, but it kind of fell short of that ambiance. The fish tank in the corner needs attention and it is noticeable that this shop is a small family business when you see their little one taking a nap on a nearby couch. Had an appointment for a mani pedi at 5.30, got ignored until 6.15 when I just sat down in one of the pedi chairs. After that the lady kept pushing "gel" over and over. I get it you are trying to make as much as you can but maybe relax. The minute she asked me what kind of pedicure I wanted, Deluxe or another option a 3year old kid is now full blown crying. Takes the mother about 15 minutes to try to sooth the child but prior to that another costumer and I'm guessing the mother is yelling at the brother for making her cry. (Deep breath) as time passes it seems as if I'm bothering them for still waiting for my mani. I already want to leave. As I am about to say thank you but that will be all, I get moved over to the other chair for my mani. The mani was meh, no lotion no hand massage. Just mail cut, buffed and polished. I happened to see Good Nails was open on Yelp, which I was skeptical about, but then I called and WOW!! They have such a great set up out front! They take your temperature, have a check-in service, and give you sanitizer!
