Day 5 of my infected big toe. Getting better and no more pus. Days of soaking in Epsom. He knew he cut too deep cause he kept going back to it checking. Still a touch pink. But not red and hot like it was for a few days. Also my gel French tip nail all looked great. Until chipping that night. I'm not rough by all means but I know why they chipped. After she did the gel polish why did she file them? Filing the tips removed that extra cover over the edge of my nail. I didn't think much of it and she said "it's that way". I've had gel many times before and they add extra at the tip. She removed it. Let's say I was able to peel it all off last night since they all pulled and peeled. Will never return. I was attended by rose who had an attitude because I wanted to leave due to her wanting to change the price of matte set in person. She has no shame speaking in such a ghetto language with her customers in front of children. She left 3 of my fingers super sensitive and bleeding from using the nail filer so rough. She didn't bother to use a cuticle pusher tool to push my cuticles back which cause them to bleed. She also had me pay upfront before the service. She seemed very bothered that I didn't want to pay the price she mentioned in person. I called and she quoted me 25. I repeated after her so make sure I heard right and she said yes and how long I would get there.. for there and she wanted to switch the price claiming I said gel not matte. read more

I don't understand all the terrible reviews. I have been going to Rose for almost a year now & she never has disappointed me . Yes I understand there a few in here I specifically wouldn't want my nails done by , at least not any special designs or anything like that but what shop doesn't have those few employees.. Rose never disappoints when it comes to fills , full sets , pedicures or eyebrows . She recently which I have noticed has started to slowly but surely renovate her shop , she's got new paint flooring and furniture which just as a person not even a customer, I am proud to see her try and grow and make improvements.. She has also recently brought on some new nail techs , one which includes her younger brother who did my nails shown below & another younger a bit heavyset woman who I have allowed to do my fills twice and haven't had any disappointments with. ( ignore the heavyset comment just so you can know when you see her , because I myself am a bit chunky ) I love K & J nails , anytime I think of going somewhere else im displeased by wait times or unnecessary attitude. Yes these girls have their days but I'm always welcomed to a smile , also Rose learns her customers names which is EXTREMELY welcoming, and they are all super friendly. So they got a one but should be zero, they do rush service and don't clean their eye lash or eyebrow utensils I sware I dang near have pink eye and the lashes that I had put on had to be removed within a couple of hours. There were two nail sets one for me and one for my daughter which one popped off her nails the next day and she wasn't doing anything vigorous and my beautiful set as I look at them today I will probably be rocking no more than a week because it looks like water has already got inside and to top off Roses brother used a racial remark when my daughter went in to be refunded ; they refused and the nail tech called her a NIGGER and Rose was so certain we'd come back saying we are regulars , sorry mama never again u lost three customers.Not happy camper read more

My friend and I were attending her brother's wedding so we both wanted manicure and pedi. first thing, I had to insist they use a base coat! My nails came out okay. But my friends, a nightmare, they left cotton ball fibers and painted over it. Also, there were too many smudges on the side. When my friend brought it to their attention, they got defensive and blamed her! The best part was when a customer came back two days after her fill saying they did a bad job. This is the WORST NAIL SHOP EVER!!! I just had an appointment with this nail shop and I should have kept my money in my pocket!!! First of all, you could barely understand what the lady was saying, and she couldn't understand me. How many times do I have to tell you that me and my mom want a manicure and pedicure. She slapped 2 coats on so quick it would have made your head spin!!! She slaps some oil on the bottom of my foot and proceeds to put my sandals back on. What happened to the top of my foot?? Or the foot and leg massage?? Not to mention that you didn't even have me go to a drying station!!!!! I paid her $25 and left!! I will NEVER go here again and I suggest you avoid them too!!!!! Worst nail salon do not go, this place is only good at charging not provided good service or cleanliness, I received an infection from rose tools, mind you I went in for a full set to be done by rose and she chose to have an assistant who I know isn't licensed to do my nails horrible job and still tried to charge 70$ claiming that k chose dip powder I asked for acrylic powder not dip powder they are two completely different products, and left them thick I hate thick curved nails when I ordered them to remove it she acted like she didn't hear me,very unprofessional and I do not recommend at all... go to any other nail salon in the area, place should've closed years ago, this place is only good for them old ass people that don't care and the dumb ladies that still trust her dirty hands with theirs eyelashes disgusting completely unsanitary. read more

I went there to get my eye brows and upper lip waxed. Staff was friendly. The woman who helped me was rose. She remembered all of her clients names who were before. They had a pleasant experience however I didn't. My eye brows were uneven and my upper lip was burned from the wax being too hot. Yes, she did the job and removed the hair. I don't understand the bad reviews on here. I have never had an issue at this salon. The staff is always friendly and they always do a great job with my nails, no matter who does them. They also have the dipping powder! A lot of other salons don't have it, and it is my FAVORITE. They are also really good at putting it on and shaping your nail. I've was telling my nail tech ROSE to stop painting my nails and she continued ignoring me and talking to some guy in the shop and when I told her I didn't like it she didn't say anything and kept painting. And she charged 5 extra dollars for the length of my nails which aren't even long. Very bad customer service this well be the last time I'll come to this shop. I had another lady there do my pedicure bc Rose was busy and she cut my sides on my big toes too deep and two days later my toes still hurt.
