Chicken Kabobs, Rice, Pita

Olive Pit is quickly starting to become a favorite! I've been here a couple times. Each time I've had a great experience. Service is great. The servers are very attentive. Food and presentation is excellent. I have nothing bad to say here. They make a killer margarita.

Modern Mediterranean spot in Brea. Very nice interior and clean. Ordered the sirloin steak entree with a side of Mediterranean salad and basmati rice. It tasted really good. Love the hummus. Public parking conveniently located at the back of the restaurant. Our server was attentive.

Came here for a birthday celebration, accommodated us to patio seating right away, server was amazing, and food was great. I've been wanting to try this spot for years and definitely don't regret it! Btw feta fries are where it's at! The rocka salad is to dieeee for and works as a great side for steak, if you like acidity, get it! The way the apples and pumpkin seeds, and red onions marry together was divine! Also the zucchini chips sauce that it comes with good lord idk what it is but it was delicious !

A little tricky to find parking on a Friday night. We called ahead to see if we could be added to a waitlist, but we were told that they do not have one. I also noted before that they do not accept reservations either unless it's a larger party. However, the wait only ended up being about ten minutes after we were told fifteen-twenty. We had grilled chicken and steak kabobs and both were great. The rice and fries as well. I also tried the avgolemono soup. It needed more richness but it was still good. Margaritas did not disappoint. The restaurant is nice with indoor and outdoor seating. I'm definitely coming back.

Came here to celebrate two birthdays. Another awesome experience here at Olive Pit. We started with an order of spanakopita and fried calamari. The batter on the calamari was light and perfectly fried. The spanakopita was flaky and tasty. Our son ordered the pastitsio which looked great and he said was delicious. His wife ordered the lamb gyro entree which she loved. My wife ordered the single sirloin kabob with salad and basmati rice while I ordered the double sirloin kabob with basmati rice and fried artichoke hearts. The sirloin was cooked to medium rare which left it tender and yummy. Our server, Deb, was kind to bring us two birthday desserts for our two birthday guests. We love the decor in the restaurant and gives you a nice Greek atmosphere.

Can you reach nirvana with a burger? After trying the lamb burger at Olive Pit Grill, I'm convinced you can. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, this burger was absolutely to die for. On a whim, I asked our server what I should pair it with, and he recommended the Hazy Little Thing IPA. I have to give him credit--it was the perfect pairing and took the whole meal to the next level. The service was just as memorable as the food. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely steered us in the right direction with his recommendation. If you're a burger lover, do yourself a favor and order the lamb burger... and don't skip the Hazy Little Thing IPA alongside it. You can thank me later.

Chicken entree with basmati rice and grilled vegetables

The Olive pit is a local favorite when I'm in Brea. Girls shopping day ended with an early dinner here. My favorite is the grilled chicken entree with basmati rice and Mediterranean salad. Ordered a side of hummus for the table. The service was good, food came to the table at a reasonable time, refills were offered. We waiting a bit for the check and to request boxes a while after we were done eating. None the less, we enjoyed our dinner and would definitely come back.

Dolmades
William W.

This Greek spot in Orange County has decent Mediterranean cuisine. The dolmades are alright, but the sauce could be better. The spanakopita is mediocre, not remotely as good as what our family makes at home. But the Feta Fries are incredible! That's my best recommendation here! The lamb dishes and various kabobs are also pretty good. The restaurant is in a great location in the heart of downtown Brea, and the service is excellent! But the Olive Pit isn't going to wow you as much as some of the best Greek restaurants in SoCal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area indefinitely my favorite Greek restaurant. I have a tendency to always order the same thing. Here my go to is usually the lamb Jairo or the lamb chops but lately I've been trying to try different things. I am happy I chose to do this as I have found items that I have loved that I just hadn't tried. I had this year tuna one day and it was really good. It was perfectly cooked and it had a good sauce but the one item that I was honestly surprised was the half roasted chicken. I tend not to order chicken at restaurants because I am worried that the chicken will be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The chicken was really good and I will definitely get it again. My boyfriend tried it and he wanted to switch dishes, but I absolutely did not allow him to. The chicken was just very juicy and tender. For the sides, I used to always get hummus, but I didn't know that they had an eggplant dip similar to baba ghanoush. Now that I have tried it, it is my go to. You can really taste a roasted eggplant in there and the texture is similar to hummus. My other go to side are the artichoke hearts because they are so big they are roasted and it's a good portion. Overall this remains to be one of my favorite restaurants in the area and I will be back.

Although the Olive Pit is in busy Downtown Brea, there's a parking structure right behind the restaurant, so parking is a breeze. They have a very nice patio area as well as spacious and stylish indoor seating. It was a bit windy today, so we chose to sit inside. There are both tables and half table half booth seating, and the booths are very homey and comfortable in that the backs are lined with an assortment of throw pillows. Our server today, Chris, was one of the best servers we've had in a while. He didn't make us feel rushed, checked on us regularly, was very personable, and just had a great sense of humor. My friend ordered the margarita flat bread and thoroughly enjoyed it. The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were generous without being too heavy to weigh down the crust. I had the lamb gyro wrap and upgraded to feta fries for my side. The feta fries had a very generous amount of cheese and was really good. The lamb and veggies in the wrap were nicely proportioned, but it could have used more of a dressing or spread to tie it together better. It was an enjoyable visit thanks to Chris. The food was filling, so we didn't have room for dessert, but I have my eye on the baklava ice cream when we return!

I visited Olive Pit Grill in downtown Brea with two friends because we wanted a healthy meal. The three of us ordered Dolmades, a Margherita pizza, grilled chicken kabobs, and a sirloin steak kabob. Everything was delicious; I especially enjoyed the Dolmades, which I was trying for the first time. For dessert, we had Greek yogurt mixed with nuts and honey, which was a perfect way to finish the meal.

This place has changed from my last visit; it is now a sit down restaurant with great atmosphere! Super clean. Outdoor seating is available. Friendly and attentive service I'm sure it gets busy on the weekend.Parking garage is located behind the restaurant. We got our food rather quickly. Everything was delicious. I do prefer the chicken kabobs over the steak kabobs; the chicken was more tender. Definitely coming back!

The only communication I received was asking where an item I rented (the projector/VIBE) was placed. I told them, they found it, and that was the end of it. Shortly after, Alex (the COO) emailed me stating that my security deposit would be returned by this weekend. It still hasn't been returned. About 4 days after receiving the email from Alex , Chloe texted me asking if I had received my deposit. I told her no and sent her Alex's email confirming the refund. 2.5 weeks after my event, she suddenly claimed that damages were found after my event. This raised immediate red flags. - The venue had cleaners come in right after my event, so they would've notified her of damages just like they did after her other events. So I don't see what's so difficult about showing me the cleaners claimed that the kitchen door was locked. Obviously, it wasn't if she can't provide proof. - Chloe herself said she would come in the following day to confirm the rented equipment was where I stated. So again, why weren't these issues brought up immediately if there was truly damages done to her venue during my event. - I had already contacted her the next day asking about camera footage, and she told me the cameras do not retain footage past a short period Despite all of this, 2.5 weeks after my event, I received this message: "After your event, our cleaning team reported a few issues... 1. The kitchen door was locked and a locksmith was called 2. A crack found on the wall 3. A broken door stopper" When I asked for video footage or proof, none was provided. Instead, I was sent a screen recording of text messages between Chloe and her cleaning staff. Her cleaning staff said these issues occurred at another event the following weekend after my event. Immediately, when I said thats not the date of my event she unsends the screen recorded message between her and her cleaners.... They are now claiming that I locked the kitchen door, requiring a locksmith, yet when I asked for proof, I received no response from Chloe and Alex. As of now, I am still waiting for my deposit. This entire experience feels like an attempt to retroactively justify withholding a deposit. The lack of transparency, delayed claims, and refusal to provide evidence is extremely concerning and unprofessional. If you value clear communication, integrity, and lawful business practices, I would strongly suggest booking elsewhere

LeeAnn was such a pleasure to work with and her organization made planning a breeze. She and Christina were so helpful answering our many questions and sending follow ups for next steps. We booked for a wedding on a very short timeline for a smallish group, and top to bottom, we had an amazing experience. They made planning so easy, from our amazing point of contact/coordinator Emily answering every silly question I had, to the digital planning offerings so we could make our own floor plans for the team. The owner Summer was also highly responsive when we needed to touch base. Day of, everything was so streamlined that we hardly had to lift a finger beyond getting our decorations out of the building. The staff was on top of every element and they were all so sweet. On top of that, EVERY SINGLE one of our guests commented on how gorgeous the venue is, with some family members excited to find a place for their own events. We booked a buffet style dinner and added the lighting package, the coordinator upgrade, cake cutting, coffee service, soft drinks, and signature cocktails for a cash bar. First of all, the food is phenomenal. It's easy to dismiss any sort of banquet service, especially a buffet style, as something somewhat less than a gourmet meal, but not here. Not by a long shot. EVERYTHING is good, from the meats and sides down to the bread (at one point in the evening one of our guests had a plate of about 10 rolls, which was completely understandable.) My husband is a snob about meat, especially steak, and basically cried at our tasting with how incredible it was. We got great feedback from our guests both the day of and afterward about how great the meal was. The other really standout add on was the cocktails. It's another thing that every single guest (who imbibed) commented on, telling us not just how good they were but also how they loved trying "the groom" vs "the bride" drinks. The Charleston takes its alcohol seriously as a craft, with these drinks being the most truly *crafted* cocktails I've had in a while. It added an amazing element for our guests that they really noticed. From the "executing our vision" end of planning, the coordinator upgrade was *invaluable.* Emily handled all of our decor setup and strike, including packing things. I overplanned tablescapes, decor, and timelines, which made her job easy, but she's such a pro that she's usually the one to handle such things. (As an aside, she took my concept and ran with it in ways I didn't think of, and I was so thrilled with her execution. Emily, I adore you and your creative brilliance.) The other item we are so glad we added for our vision of the day was the lighting package. It was the thing that took a gorgeous ballroom reception into what felt like a bespoke event, from our spotlighted entrance to the lighting on the floor for our first dance. There IS an add on package that covered both of these line items and more, but because we wanted to choose some of our own vendors, we opted for only the individual items. I love who we hired, but for simplicity's sake, the larger package would probably be much easier for a couple looking for a "set it and forget it" style of wedding planning. We loved our experience with The Charleston and I'd book our special day there a million times over. The building is gorgeous and with a rich history, but beyond that, it's so welcoming--not just the people but the vibe there. For us, there was never any other venue for our wedding than The Charleston, and I'll tell everyone who will listen how much we loved it. I know yall read these reviews, so to the team directly: thank you for everything. It was the day we both always wanted, and you all made it special. We are infinitely grateful.
