    Let me start off by saying, I love this venue. The venue is the type of venue that makes your guests feel elevated and classy. I highly recommend this venue. I had guests compliment on how much they loved it because it was a wedding venue they've never experienced before. I also highly recommend also booking their florist jennybflorals because they really know what they're doing. Also shout out to our event coordinator, Emily!!! She really is the best! Emily kept me calm and sane. Shes so sweet and I wish her and the staff the Charleston the best!

    I have helped host 2 high school sports banquets here, and currently planning a third. This venue is amazing to work with! Clear communication, fair prices, excellent service, food is good, building is beautiful! Summer and Emily take the stress away from coordinating all the details. The guests enjoy the events!

Words and photos do not do justice to the natural beauty, charm, and overall vibe of this building--you truly have to experience it in person! With so many thoughtfully curated packages, preferred vendors, and food options to choose from, The Charleston is a true one-stop shop and an easy choice for anyone looking to host a stress-free event. Every detail made the celebration feel grand and meaningful. Each space within the venue has its own unique character, creating stunning backdrops for photos, dining, and dancing throughout the night. Our guests are still raving about the venue and how unique, elegant, and unforgettable it felt.     The Charleston is a private event venue located in the historic Williams building in Fullerton. The place is beautiful and the art-deco décor, high ceilings, & wooden accents add to the charm. There is also a members only speakeasy with lockers to store your special private reserve. I came here for a celebration of life for a dear friend. We had a private room located next to the speakeasy bar. There was a nice buffet, which the guests enjoyed. I had a wonderful conversation with Jeff, the bartender. He made a delicious & refreshing French 75. If you need a place for a special occasion, I would recommend The Charleston.

    If you have an event to coordinate in the OC area, you have to look at the Charleston! My family and I were looking for a venue to celebrate my 30th birthday, and the Charleston was our first pick. Summer and Emily both assisted me and they were so kind and professional. We were able to do multiple walkthroughs of the venue, and the Charleston boasts five different lounges and ballrooms, including a speakeasy on the third floor of the building. We reserved the Foxtrot Lounge, which was this beautiful 1100-square foot space with comfy couches and a faux fireplace. The venue is located in a historical building as well, which adds to its appeal. I worked with Summer and Emily to figure out table and couch layout, and they do catering internally as well. Their catering and alcohol packages are extensive and quite affordable! You are also able to get food catered from an outside vendor, but you'll have to get it cleared with the venue first. The food we catered from the Charleston was delicious, and the staff that were onsite during our event were amazing and polite. I want to give a shout out to Summer, Emily, Chandler, and Nick for being so amazing and for helping me celebrate my birthday! I highly recommend the Charleston for any birthday, bridal shower, bachelor/bachelorette party, wedding, reception you plan to have!

    Amazing venue, we knew the first day we accidentally ran into the Charleston this would be the perfect venue for our daughter's French/Goth inspired Quinceañera. Summer and Emily along with their entire team made it a wonderful flawless experience. Loved everything about that day, the only complaint, it went by too fast

    I recently had my wedding reception here and I could not be happier! Summer, who is one of the owners of the venue was so helpful figuring out the best options for us to use at their venue that fit our budget. This venue can offer bundle deals where they offered (at the time I booked) floral arrangements, photo booths, Dj and two signature drinks! They also offer their own day of coordinator who was more than I could ask for! Emily, who was our day of coordinator was amazing! She went above and beyond my expectations as a day of coordinator. Although I would hate to say this, but I could be a type A planner/person. However, Emily was so attentive and made me feel so comfortable and so confident on the venue when it came to wedding planning. Every follow up meeting we had, she eased all my stresses and worries! When the day of the wedding came, we had no issues! The food was delicious, (which was made fresh downstairs) bartenders were amazing and used top self liquor (with our package) and was fun to be around. Every guest we had who talked to us had nothing but amazing things to say about this venue. I've even had some kids who said "this is the best wedding ever!!". This venue is not like your typical wedding venues. It gives historic, traditional, classic, romance, comfort, and warmth to its feel! I highly recommend this venue to all!

    I would not recommend this venue based on how my security deposit is being handled 3 weeks after…read moremy event. Immediately after my event, no damages were mentioned at all. The only communication I received was asking where an item I rented (the projector/VIBE) was placed. I told them, they found it, and that was the end of it. Shortly after, Alex (the COO) emailed me stating that my security deposit would be returned by this weekend. It still hasn't been returned. About 4 days after receiving the email from Alex , Chloe texted me asking if I had received my deposit. I told her no and sent her Alex's email confirming the refund. 2.5 weeks after my event, she suddenly claimed that damages were found after my event. This raised immediate red flags. - The venue had cleaners come in right after my event, so they would've notified her of damages just like they did after her other events. So I don't see what's so difficult about showing me the cleaners claimed that the kitchen door was locked. Obviously, it wasn't if she can't provide proof. - Chloe herself said she would come in the following day to confirm the rented equipment was where I stated. So again, why weren't these issues brought up immediately if there was truly damages done to her venue during my event. - I had already contacted her the next day asking about camera footage, and she told me the cameras do not retain footage past a short period Despite all of this, 2.5 weeks after my event, I received this message: "After your event, our cleaning team reported a few issues... 1. The kitchen door was locked and a locksmith was called 2. A crack found on the wall 3. A broken door stopper" When I asked for video footage or proof, none was provided. Instead, I was sent a screen recording of text messages between Chloe and her cleaning staff. Her cleaning staff said these issues occurred at another event the following weekend after my event. Immediately, when I said thats not the date of my event she unsends the screen recorded message between her and her cleaners.... They are now claiming that I locked the kitchen door, requiring a locksmith, yet when I asked for proof, I received no response from Chloe and Alex. As of now, I am still waiting for my deposit. This entire experience feels like an attempt to retroactively justify withholding a deposit. The lack of transparency, delayed claims, and refusal to provide evidence is extremely concerning and unprofessional. If you value clear communication, integrity, and lawful business practices, I would strongly suggest booking elsewhere

We did a tour and loved the venue. Our event was mostly DIY which required us to maintain communication with Nellie to make sure we had everything we needed for decor and set-up. She also provided us with a great vendor list which we used to book our catering and bartender. The event was perfect, everyone enjoyed themselves and it was exactly how we pictured. Nellie was there on the day-of for guidance and additional assistance. I would definitely choose to plan another event here if the opportunity arises. The venue is clean and beautiful but Nellie's professional and kind service was the cherry on top.

I'll start by saying that this is the second time I have hosted an event here seven years apart from each other. The first was for my eldest daughter's sweet 16 and the second one was on January 2 for my youngest daughter's quinceanera. I cannot say enough, good things about Monica, the manager of this facility. From the start, she was so helpful, kind, and responsive. She made my entire process stress-free and even worked with me to ensure that I had more than sufficient time to set up. The venue staff the day of my event were wonderful! A shout out to the event captain Marisol for being amazing! My guests not only complimented the service they complimented how good the food was as well. Although it ended up raining the day of my daughter's event and we weren't able to use the patio area which we originally planned for, we were able to set up everything inside and it worked out very nicely. My daughter had a wonderful time and we walked away extremely happy with how everything turned out.. I give this venue, the service, the location, and everything else a 10 out of 10.

There isn't an obvious sign on the outside that says this is "Spring Tea Garden" but once you walk in, you'll see signs leading you to the spring tea garden. They have their own large parking lot so parking is not an issue. If you're visiting on the weekend, I highly recommend you reserve a table a day or two in advance. The space itself looks very historic, quaint, and cute! Love how much natural lighting the tea room has to give it an organic brightness to the room. I love that you can provide your own catering, we had our family business cater the food for our event and that was nice because no other venues we looked at allowed that. My best tip for someone looking to book is to be very organized and clear with every item you want if you are planning to bring your own decor, they are great and will get it done! But being organized will make things easier. The venue closes at 10pm, but we were able to book an area 12 minutes away at one of the bars in Downtown Fullerton. Not only is the venue so authentically beautiful, the staff here are amazing! From working with Diana leading up to wedding and Katie our day of coordinator, they are great!!! The day of the wedding was so perfect and ran so smoothly! This was an amazing team. I highly recommend this venue and Hutchinson Weddings.
