    Corned Beef & Cabbage

We had a fantastic meal at Olde Brick House! The corned beef and cabbage was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the Guinness gravy tied everything together perfectly -- absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and the batter was light, crisp, and perfectly golden brown. Our son had the Ribeye and said it was super tender. Great service, cozy atmosphere, and amazing food -- we can't wait to come back!

Great place and a vast menu! Cool little vibe with the brick and decor. Dick Titus Commercial just hits different. The gravy with the ribeye meat so good. Ordered a dessert and OMG. That hit the spot. Bartender was great and decent beer selection. Will go back.

While visiting from Seattle, staying with my MIL in Sartell, we wanted to take the family to dinner. Olde Brick House has been on my "list" to check out and we finally made it happen. Very friendly service and a great spot for families! We all loved the old pub feel inside. My first test at an Irish pub is of course the Guinness, and my Guinness was a perfect pour and delicious. There were three orders of fish and chips, one burger, one Dick Titus commercial and one kids Mac & cheese. Five stars for burger, kids Mac and the Dick Titus, all were delicious. I'd have to say the kids Mac is probably one of the best out there. I would definitely recommend the pub fries instead of the beer batter. As for the fish and chips, I have to give it four stars but only because the fish for all three orders was a bit overcooked. The Guinness beer batter was very tasty and the coleslaw was also very tasty. Had the fish been cooked probably one minute less it would have been a solid 5 star fish and chips. I'd go with 4.5 stars if I could for our entire experience. We will be back next time we're visiting Grandma.

Went during the weekend and was slower during a Vikings game. Staff was attentive with refills and making sure everything tasted great which it did. This is an Irish pub so have plenty of Irish food options and other regular pub options. We had the crispy chicken wrap, Nashville hot chicken tacos and kids cheeseburger. The pub chips are chefs kiss delicious and the spice on the chicken tacos was the perfect amount of heat with still providing a great amount of other flavors. They have an upstairs area as well for event rentals that was beautiful alone with the bottle line up with whiskey.

Stopped here for a drink and a bite to eat while at a conference nearby. Lovely little Irish bar with plenty of room. Decode was nice. Had to explain what a Johnny Jump Up was to the bartender but she got it and made it well. Shepherds Pie was excellent. Will come here again if I am in the neighborhood.

If you're looking for cozy food and a casual vibe, this is your place. The Nashville Hot Chicken Mac and Cheese was more cheese than pasta! It was super rich, exactly as described. Our server was helpful and matched our pace. The only thing I'd say is that they must not get a ton of gluten free folks. The pasta was a little undercooked, and the day before, my gluten free salad came with a huge piece of gluten-full bread. Nice that they have options!

Came for st Patrick's day! Cool spot. The Irish stew in a bread bowl was out of this world good! The corned beef as its own meal was a little tough and chewy. I would definitely come back for a bread bowl!

Wandered in here while in town for a retreat. I Got a Guinness and a shepherds pie. Wasn't disappointed! The food is good I Got seated quickly and the waitress was on top of water and bills etc It felt like a good olde pub inside so I'd lived up to its name. Was cozy with a bunch of leather booths and tables.

Really enjoyed this place. Walls were brick and wood (hence the name) giving a bit of an old pub feel. We were seated quickly and drink orders taken. In our party of 5, we ordered Fish and Chips with sweet potato fries, Fish Tacos, Dick Titus Commercial, Guinness Prime Rib Cheese Steak Sandwich and Perrystown Pretzels. Our food came quickly, was hot and well presented. My Commercial was really good. Gravy seemed homemade and portion size was nice. Tasty meal. My wife had the Fish Tacos. They were good as well. I didn't try the other food (friends not family) but everyone enjoyed it. I only got a picture of my entree, and the others we were with aren't really foodies and don't understand the pics lol. Bottom line - good service, good food, good ambiance. Will return next time in town. A solid 4.5 to 4.7 experience.

I saw it on their online menu as well as on the chalkboard in the restaurant. So my husband and I sat down, ordered drinks, and went to order our food just to find out that apparently they haven't been receiving shipments lately to make the duck wontons. At that point, we had already ordered our drinks and it was too close to the kitchen closing to go anywhere else so I was forced to order something else. The rest of the food was good however, the corned beef was very peppery and the waitress knew that I didn't like spicy stuff so a heads up on that would've been nice. Overall, no matter how the food tasted. It was disappointing because of the expectations of having a duck wontons available. The least that they could've done is written something on their menu or crossed it off the chalkboard in the restaurant. That way I would've known ahead of time before we ordered. Also it says they are open until 10 but the kitchen closed at 8.

Oh well, the burger made up for the chips. Their burgers are smash burger style. Beer on tap is really good. What I didn't like was the bistro style seating on stools that are too small to accommodate a larger person. Mr. G. and I were uncomfortable due to seating options. More normal size tables and chairs need to be offered, not everyone likes bistro stools. This is a good place to meet up with friends and have a beer or two and some decent food. The concept of a place where time stands still fir a tavern was cool. None of the clocks work so time stands still. Over all rating is 4 due to limited table and chairs and the reliance on bistro stools fir seating.

Upon entering, you will notice a small bar with an adequately stocked bar, featuring about 8 taps and a number of canned and bottled beers for your liking. There are plenty of high-top tables and booths to accommodate a decent crowd. MaGillycuddy's Bar is one of those places that instantly makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance between cozy and relaxed, thanks in no small part to the awesome tin ceiling-- it kind of gives this place a vintage charm you don't see often. The crowd is just what one would expect, just regular folks enjoying a libation and watching the Wild game. And they have pulltabs!! We settled in on a high-top table and ordered beers and our lunch. The Nashville Hot Shrimp is a must-try. just the right amount of heat, and packed with flavor. The Guinness cheeseburger is an open-faced burger topped with fries, Guinness cheese sauce, and, of course, bacon. That was a bit messy, and was enjoyable, but there are some other items I will want to try before going back to that entree. Between the solid food offerings, the friendly vibe, and the cool interior, MaGillycuddy's has all the makings of a local favorite. There is a parking ramp and street parking in the area. Both are free. They were decorating for Halloween and it gave us such a fun vibe! We were immediately welcomed in and the service was phenomenal the entire time we were there! I would go back on service alone! The upstairs area isn't overly large but they do have tables, booths and a bar to sit at. There was a sign that said "basement closed" so I assume there was more down there. There are TV's, so this would be a cool spot to grab a beer and watch the game for sure! There is also a small outdoor seating area and is next to a fountain. The food: The deep fried pickle spears were good! The batter is light and crispy! However, because these are spears, they took a long time to cool to properly eat. It comes with jalapeño ranch, which has a slight kick but nothing crazy. I recommend getting the regular ranch too! My boyfriend got the Reuben and noted it was "solid." I got the deep fried buffalo chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries! Both were excellent! The chicken was seasoned well before battered and the sweet potato fries had a sweet/lime/seasoning that was unique and tasty! This is definitely worth checking out!
