The only redeeming quality for this bar food wise is the waitress we had. You definitely have to be a regular to get noticed. Was sitting in the dining room at least 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging we were there. Then we had to go and get someone to get some menus. Started with an app the ham and Swiss curds they were 7.99 and you get about 10 or less. It was not worth the money, they weren't hot, and they were nothing special. For meals got the Philly with au jus and fries. The au jus was very very salty. And the sandwich itself was lacking. The bread wasn't anything special the meat was lacking and the mushrooms were few and far between. The pepperoni marinara burger was ok very messy and sloppy. Asked for waffle fries to sub and got regular instead. We were already at our limit so just let it go. For booze I'm sure it's good. But food not so much. I had fond memories of this joint 25 years ago as a student at SCSU ( Husky Pride)!!! Had to stop here to watch a Vikings game on the way home as we pulled in just prior to kick off. It was a great place to stop for said game! My smoking hot wife and I split a roast beef Sami it was great! My wife had several drinks for a good price and our server was excellent as my water was always full. The free chili at half time and 50 cent shots were a nice bonus! Great place to watch a Vikings game, Tony (the host) was kind and entertaining. It was enough fun that we might drive from the twin cities to watch the next Vikings win! read more

FINALLY, I'VE FOUND A JUICY LUCY IN ST. CLOUD. Lincoln Depot has been around for what feels like forever. I used to live closer to it when I was little, and I recall passing by it whenever we'd cross the railroad tracks. 20-some years later, I'm finally able to say I've had a bite to eat here and enjoyed it! If you use the entrance that is right off of the parking lot, you won't be served right away. The waitresses were on the other side of the bar/restaurant, so when we entered, it took them some time to be able to get over to us. We stood there awkwardly for a few minutes, chose a booth nearby, and a waitress came over to us in about 10 minutes. Lincoln Depot has an extensive menu, but we kept it simple with a burger night. My friend purchased the Depot Burger ($7.49 for a hamburger and $7.99 for a cheeseburger) and I got the North Star Burger ($8.99) with fries on the side. My friend enjoyed her burger and I liked mine as well. I wish their would've been more "juicy" to my "lucy" because there was very little cheese inside of my burger. The fries were good too, I would suggest to add a pinch of salt to them. My friend's burger was very pink on the inside which deterred her from finishing it, but that was not the case with my burger. They do offer Bingo and although we declined to participate, there were plenty of customers that hopped in on the fun. Went with two friends for a late lunch. Wasn't too busy and the waitress was fairly quick and very friendly. Sadly, none of us had decent food. I had ordered onion rings but sent them back because they were dark brown and tasted bad. Told her that I didn't want more but she brought new ones anyway. They were just as bad. Obviously they needed to change the fryer oil as theirs tasted rancid. My friend had a hot roast beef that was tough and tasteless. She left more than half of it. Nobody asked why she didn't want to eat it or take it home. Our other friend ordered from the children's menu and what she received was worth about one third of what she was charged. None of will be back but I'm not sure that the owners would care if they lost any business read more

We stopped here randomly after running some errands. We are not from town. Very pleasantly surprised! Large selection of food and what we had was delicious! My husband had the kielbasa sandwich and I had the strawberry chicken salad. We also had the boneless sweet chili Thai wings for an appetizer and everything was good. This place has my favorite burgers in the Saint Cloud area. They not only have simple choices (like a classic bacon cheese) but they also have an assortment of creative options for the more adventurous eater. The menu is vast and delicious, but the service leaves something to be desired, and this is coming from a longtime regular. The establishment has a strong preference to their regular clientele which can be very off-putting to potential new customers. It has gotten so bad that I have started ordering take-out as opposed to sitting down and eating in the restaurant itself.The bar is very affordable and can make a solid array of beverages at a great value. The decor is very "dive bar chic" to say the least. Come for the burgers, leave because the staff is awful. read more

Lincoln Depot is your run of the mill hole in the wall bar you will find in St. Cloud. Nothing really above average will be found at this place. But, on the flip side, there are no negatives either. I will say it has AWESOME people watching! read more

I love Depot Karaoke Nights, which is every Saturday. Great place to sing karaoke, very supportive crowd, who will sing with you if you pick a well-known song. I love the intentions of this bar. It reminds me of some of my favorite places I use to dine and drink at before moving to Saint Cloud. Today if I could I'd give it zero stars I'm giving two because my very first time here I had a good experience. My second time here my chicken wasn't cooked all the way through, and today... Lacey was out server we sat in the bar area for ten min before we were acknowledged. It was busy and understaffed but the bar tender and waitress made eye contact with us multiple times and just let us sit here. Asked for water with lemon (would've liked to get a beer but I had to work later today) five min before we get our drink, she tells me there arnt any cut lemons sorry so i guess I was sol with lemon water. We ordered mushrooms I can't eat spicy stuff so I asked for ranch instead of jalepino cheese sauce. Got the sauce and no silverware. Server made multiple rounds around the restaurant helping other guests but wouldn't check to see why we weren't eating our appetizer. Finally when our food comes out we ask for ranch and silverware for our appatizer. Minimal check ins it was busy so I understand that but there is a common theme of horrible service here.
