Most recently my MIL & I had lunch here during the week & the place was pretty slow, but they were quick with service. I ordered level 2 spice on my pancit and this was perfect! They have tons of Filipino and Thai options and I know we'll be coming back again and again. We went on a Saturday night, it was busy but not overly busy. The service was terrible. We waited over 25 minutes before a server even showed up at our table. It took another 35 minutes to get our drinks. As a matter of fact, some of the food came out before the drinks. The server who took our order was less than friendly. We didn't get a hello and she never made eye contact. The food was a solid 3 out 5. This is so disappointing because we were there a year so and the food was outstanding then. The food was not very good. Order the beef stir fry the beef was from a cheap cut of beef and it was like chewing on jerky. The sauce that they added was runny like water. Vegtables were over cooked. The stir fry said it had bean sprouts. They were canned or frozen and not very many added. The pea pods were also over cooked. The one thing that I really wanted was the lumpia. They were very small with very little filling and very small about the size of a cigar. I have had lumpia in the SF bay area and these are not. The Pad Thai was good but I'm giving this a 1 star because the portion was very small. I asked for the level 5 spice (Their hottest level) and could barely taste the heat. I paid $20+ for just this dish and was genuinely surprised with how little portions they gave. I've been to other Thai restaurants so it was surprising to have a bad experience. My friends and I went to Arroy to try their new Brunch menu and wow we loved it!! The food was delicious, the service was speedy and friendly, and the atmosphere was amazing. There was beautiful art throughout the restaurant and the location downtown can't be beat! I got the Ube Croissant & sticky waffle and pork bites, I would literally eat these every single day if I could. It was so good. Their drink menus are fantastic too! First time eating at Arroy Thai & Filipino Restaurant. The Yellow Curry catfish and Chicken Satay dishes were good, but I was very disappointed with their Sum Tum (Papaya salad) and Pad See Yew. The Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce and a little bit of the papaya salad part, tastes mostly of lime (tasteless otherwise). The Pad See Yew sweet and wet. The portion was not worth the price and I didn't finish it because it was hard to eat. I had a stomachache right after and it lasted for the whole night. This place is absolutely amazing and a don't miss if you're in St. Cloud. This is the best pad Thai that I have had in years! As a native Californian, I have had my fair share of incredible Thai food, and this is right up there with all of those! The restaurant itself is cute, open and friendly! I'm a Filipino from California and visiting St. Cloud to see my fiancé's family. I'm so glad to hear that there is a Filipino/Thai restaurant in the area. We ordered both culture's food. Sisig: Good. My white fiancé liked it but we both said "too much onions". (Both red and green onions) Naturally I know Sisig technically has a good amount of onions. But it was way too much onions. A little bit oily. PadThai: Spicy level was good but I was looking for the sweet tamarind taste that will compliment when you squeezed your lime. All I can taste is the spice. Pork Bites: It was alright. It reminds me of a barbequed tocino. Staff was helpful and kind. I originally ordered Thai Tea with no whip, but served me with whip I just didn't say anything because I don't want to waste it. Later on, one of the staff gave me another one without whip and apologized. Overall, it was good still and I want to comeback for more tasting experience. :) Sadly, no military discount. read more

The first four times we ate at this restaurant--the food was excellent. The last two time we ate there (BOTH ON A FRIDAY) the food was terrible except for the egg rolls. The fried rice these last two times was like rice bathed in molasses--NOT real fried rice. We will struggle to go back there. Congratulations to Adrienne and Annie on their new Thai Filipino fusion restaurant! The food was colorful and complimented flavors that will make your taste buds do flip flops. We had a stir fry that allowed us to pick out our own ingredients and it was wonderful. Not overdone. We also had their chicken green curry which was a lighter version with crisp jalapeños which added to color to all the foods we shared. We also tried one of the Phillipino traditional dishes. Delicious. We all had virgin cocktails that included cucumber, mint, Thai basil,lime sugar and soda. No liquor license yet.... Can't wait to go back! Tried this new/rebranded place out for lunch and was happy with everything ordered. We got the Filipino pork bites, spring rolls, and the shrimp noodle salad. Hoping they get their alcohol license sorted out so we can return and try their drinks. Their mocktail menu and desserts looked great but we didn't try them. *Tip: try dipping the pork bites in the sauce from the noodle salad instead of the sauce that comes with it-the vinegar flavors really compliment the pork bite flavor! Had the spring roll, yellow curry, tomyum, arroy noodles and lechon. I'd say you would never miss with any of their soup, strong and bold authentic Asian flavours, but I would avoid the lechon for now. I was really excited to try the lechon, but it came with 7-8 slices of pork belly that was dry and so crunchy that it hurt my mouth just eating it, and it was paired with just a raw lettuce leaf and a few shreds of raw carrots on top, with a side of white rice. It almost felt like the chef had an idea, but got lazy and just slapped this dish together. Imagine eating a bunch of dried chips and it cuts the roof of your mouth, and that's the lechon. It needs a better combination like a salad or more sauces to help with the dryness of the dish read more
