Omg great place good sush go here instead of fugi also highly highly recommend the spicy fried volcano sushi it isn't that spicy it's delicious! read more

The service here is incredible! I have been multiple times and each time the waiters are hovering around waiting for us. They're fast, responsive and very friendly! We recently went to celebrate our engagement, and I wish I got more photos of the sushi, but was only able to get a snapshot of the ramen! All the food we had was delicious, and wasn't very crowded either. It picked up closer to lunch time, but for being one of the main sushi places in the area, I will be going back again! read more

My son and I were in the St Cloud area hungry for sushi, and all you can eat sushi is always preferred for us. We went during lunch and were happily greeted upon entry and immediately seated. The waiter was happy and courteous. The restaurant itself is very nice floor to ceiling. The sushi was delicious, with a perfect ratio of rice and salmon. The various roles were all made well and had the perfect amount of sauce on them. We greatly enjoyed every item we ordered. We will be coming back. read more

Loved the option of ordering a variety of items throughout our dining experience. Service was fast and staff friendly.

We took my daughter there for her birthday and order the sushi sashimi for four. The portion was so small and for spending that amount of money I was very disappointed. read more

Excellent sushi, great service, good prices and didn't forget the special request items. Would definitely recommend and order again.

The all you can eat menu was really fun because it provided an opportunity to sample a wide variety of foods at a reasonable price. The service was very good and accommodating. I am gluten free and was able to eat a variety of items but I think they could safely off additional selections if they put some attention into it. read more

Went to the lunch all you can eat and it was terrific! The servers were very fast and kind. I got the dumplings, fried tofu, and spring rolls for an appetizer which were great! Then I got the tempura squid which had a good amount of crunch to it. Next the shrimp tempura roll which had a good balance or shrimp in them. I would highly recommend to a friend. The price was a good deal for how much food we were able to order!! read more

10 out of 10 on the food!! The sushi was amazing and they had something for everyone. My wife and I both think this is one of the top restaurants in the St. Cloud area. We had lunch on a Saturday afternoon and the atmosphere was quite nice. I wasn't too loud. When it came to the service of this place I would say this was the top of our experience. Our server was very helpful and patient. We spent 15 minutes just trying to figure out what we wanted. He came over and gave us some ideas. Everything he picked was on point. We live over an hour from this place and will definitely be our number one spot in St. Cloud to eat at. read more

I love this restaurant so much. We come at least once a month! I can't get enough of their sweet potato hand rolls. The food is always fresh and tasty. The servers do a good job and are always ready for your next order (if you're getting all you can eat). A super friendly service experience. The vibe of this place is awesome, it has comfortable and ample seating. 10/10 I would recommend going here. If I could I would give it 6 stars! read more

We have eaten here many times since they have opened and love it every single time. The food, service, and overall ambiance of the establishment is great. Food is always fresh and we are served consistently. They never rush us, not even once and we've been here well over 10 times. Hajime and Fuji are very expensive but good food still. If you don't want to break the bank, come to Yamato, much more bang for your buck! read more

Overall it was not impressive, $30 for dinner for sub par sushi. Server was ok, not overly outgoing or friendly. Would recommend Hajime or Fuji for those looking for fresh sushi in the St. Cloud area. They both have much better service and food. read more

Service was prompt. Food came out quicker than expected and certainly faster than I am used to in similar places. Food was hot and cold when it should be. Server wrote down the order the first time and didn't the second time which resulted in a missed item, but we didn't say anything and ate the replacement item and enjoyed it. The place is new and was VERY busy and you would expect kinks to work out; but they were on point. All items were okay, but compared to other similar venues, left something to be desired. Glad we decided to try this today! read more

Food is great. And service is fast. Been here about 5 times so far since they first opened. I'll keep coming back

Awesome Service and great Sushi. Well worth the price. The Volcano Roll and Shrimp Tempura was Killa.

The sushi is surprisingly good for an "all u can eat" restaurant. However, i say "all u can eat" because the servers basically don't serve you after one or two rounds of food. They basically passive-aggressively imply that you should leave. They do this by saying things like "and that's it, right?" And also forcing the receipt on me before we're being done eating. And just to be clear, we were not there for very long before service getting bad and the servers started to get passive-aggressive. We were only there about 30mins or so. read more

All you can eat sushi for $30! Amazing! The menu is robust, the food is delicious, the service was fast, and overall a great deal!

So happy to have an AYCE sushi place closer! We thought it was great--everything was fast, fresh and just as described. Friendly service. As ever the only thing that grinds me gears is the huge price differential between lunch time and evening prices. Not going to knock this place for that but the trend across the board is kinda crazy--prices are $11 higher for dinner. read more

Absolutely awful!! We came in for lunch and it took over an hour to get our food. The servers had their fingers in the food/plates when carrying it to the tables. Many times we received food that was meant for other diners. Half of our party had to leave to go back to work so we got their food to go, when we got back to the office we found out the meals only had the chicken and was missing the rice and vegetables. Will never be going back. read more

The first time I came here the food was amazing and the waitress seems to not know what she was doing or the menu well (right after grand opening) tried again a few weeks later and they redeemed themselves the service was amazing and the food was great also. The food is excellent and the staff is great! Well worth the money! Everything is made fresh!

I have become a sushi connoisseur since my introduction to the fabulous food thirty years ago. Yamato is the best. I've been there three times in the first week of opening and last night we celebrated my son's birthday there. The staff sprung into action to surprise my son with a group singing of "Happy Birthday" after a night of superb service and food. I don't know how one sushi chef could accommodate a full restaurant. Bravo. The "all-u-can-eat" includes the full Japanese menu so even people that fear the idea of eating sushi have plenty of other options. I'm a personal trainer and highly recommend eating here. It's now part of my monthly budget. Ron Trester read more

Food is great but service is poor! We got our first round of food right away and got a second round but then we waited and waited to get served again and nothing. We clocked it out at forty minutes sitting there until a waiter finally came over. At that point we were sick of waiting and wanted the bill. The waiter said it was because they were busy, but we watched four waiters standing around, making eye contact with us. We also watched the table across the aisle get served twice the forty minutes we were waiting. They had the same waiter as our table. We will not be going back. read more

Food is amazing, service is wonderful and the place is clean, overall we have had amazing experiences when we go.

The all you can eat is well worth the 30, the orders came out quickly so no need to order a huge amount each time

Sushi is pretty good. Appetizers and everything else are amazing. Great price for all you can eat Japanese food.

Great food! So excited to finally get an all you can eat sushi in St cloud! Everything was good ,service was great definitely will be back

I've always had very good experiences at Yamato until I went this past Saturday. My boyfriend and I were greeted nicely my the young woman at the front counter when we came in. However, I guess she made a mistake in the notebook where they keep documentation for customers/tables (I'm honestly not sure what it's for.) The only reason I knew she had made a mistake is because an older man came (maybe the gm?- he always has 1 AirPod in, so he must be taking calls or something) and chastised her for making a mistake. He said something about how she was always making mistakes and attempted to angrily white out what the woman had written in the notebook. We watched nervously while this interaction happened. I've working in customer service before and really felt bad for this poor young woman. I felt like I was going to cry, and I could see her face change too. The man took my boyfriend and me to our table, and I told him that it is best practice to have those kinds of conversations with employees in private and that it shouldn't be done in front of customers. He said okay and moved on. It was hard not to leave, I lost a decent amount of my appetite after witnessing that. However, the service and food we got from the rest of the staff was excellent. read more
