I remember the days when Don Kahn had a buffet location downtown and they were really good. The oyster wings and egg rolls were good. Now they have a small place in a strip mall and another Don Kahn Express. I ordered 8 wings for $13 something and large chicken and vegetables with white rice also for $13 something. Their prices are super high and not that great of a value. The menu is super limited and no tofu, bahn mi or veggie noodle salads anywhere. Probably won't return. read more

Food is delicious! The various pho's are flavorful and filling. The Sweet and Sour chicken is fried in a light, crunchy batter with a tender, skilled hand--the rice and sauce are almost an afterthought as the delicious chunks of chicken stand alone all by themselves. Highly recommend! read more

I recently discovered this place a couple of months back craving Vietnamese pho. Unfortunately living in Saint Cloud...there's not much variety for authentic Asian cuisine and the one top place for great Vietnamese cuisine Viet Tien is not opening their restaurant part, they just have their grocery store open. I tried Pho V but not at the par like Viet Tien until I discovered Dong Khanh. Their everything pho which includes meatballs, shrimp, slices of beef with their flavorful broth simmering away just plays with your taste buds. The portion is huge and delicious. The eatery is small with selective menu but that's all you need if you are looking for delicious food. read more

This great little Chinese restaurant is located off the main drag in a little strip mall near Burlington Coat Factory. Don't let its location fool you. They serve excellent Chinese food. This particular location doesn't have the extensive menu that their Division location does, but you'll still find your favorites: Curry Chicken, Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg rolls, and more. I like that not all of their entrees are breaded. The Sesame Chicken can be ordered in various degrees of spiciness. I ordered medium and probably could have gone a little hotter. It tasted great, and I really enjoyed the flavorful fried rice that was served on the side. I recommend ordering a half order if you're eating alone. It was plenty of food. If you want food to take home or are sharing with someone, order the full order. The full order would probably be too much food for most people. I also had an egg roll, and I concur with what others have said. These are great homemade eggrolls with thin wrappers. Their not like the typical store bought frozen egg rolls with a thicker wrapper. Served with their house-made sweet and sour sauce, the egg roll was perfect. Service was brisk here over lunch, with a lot of folks coming in for take-out. It is a bare bones operation in some respects without wait staff but the food was wonderful. The pork fried spring rolls I had were ample tasty and crispy. I tried a half order of oyster wings and they were piping hot and delicious. The sauce was combo of sweet savory. I had beef pho. The interior is kind of messy and unorganized, and it's small. The service is very friendly and the food is hot and fresh. I ordered a half order of the curry chicken, and it was a lot of food; definitely enough for two people. The meal was pretty good, but the cuts of chicken weren't my favorite, since they were just cut straight off the bone(it's just a personal preference of mine to have boneless chicken). The food is all served in plastic, and the fried rice doesn't taste good. The chicken chow mein has the taste of plastic, so did the vegetarian roll. My sister liked the steak with pineapple and peppers. Overall, the food was okay for the price value, but I won't be coming back here again. read more

Best Egg Rolls in the county (don't forget the dipping sauce). Entrees are good, better than most Asian food in the area. If you are tired of the standard St. Cloud slop from a tepid buffet with egg rolls from the freezer and little debbie desserts... just order the sesame chicken with lo mein and an egg roll and you'll be just fine. Their soups are really good, my kid loves the Sweet and Sour (with the only sauce in town that doesn't taste like hot ketchup), and the Shrimp and Veg is simple and perfect. So so good!! After reading the reviews I opted for the pork egg rolls and beef pho. Amazing!! The egg rolls were perfect. The outside was crisp, not greasy. The filling was the perfect combination, great flavor! I am not an expert on pho but it was delicious. Full disclosure, this was my first time trying Dong, so I may not have been an expert on how to fully enjoy consuming Dong. With that said, here's my review. I happened to be passing through St. Cloud on a work trip and checked Yelp for something new to try. I noticed they had Dong available here... something I had never tried before. When in Rome, right? When I first walked in, I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a private, electronic ordering area. This allows customers the opportunity to discreetly select which type of Dong looks most appetizing, without having to worry about any peer pressure or judgement from staff or other customers. Just touch the screen and select the type of Dong that looks the tastiest and you're all set. Not having had any experience with Dong before today, I preferred to consult directly with the hostess about her recommendations, since I assumed she has tried plenty of the various types of Dong offered there. She made the selection process easy and comfortable for me even though it was my first time. She informed me that if I wanted the full serving, I could try two different types of Dong at the same time. This sounded a bit daunting, but you only live once, right? And besides, who knows if I would ever try Dong again after today? I decided this was an offer I couldn't refuse. I selected two types of Dong that looked as appetizing as anything I could see, one on the hostesses recommendation and the other by following my instincts. I found a quiet seat in the back of the room to sip my drink and wait for these two types of Dong to arrive. I was a little surprised how quickly everything unfolded after that. Before I knew it, I had more Dong laying on the table right in front of me than I knew what to do with. Was I supposed to enjoy one and finish it completely before starting on the other? Or take turns alternating between the two and enjoy them both simultaneously? I wasn't quite sure, but decided to just jump right in and see where this feast of Dong would lead me. I started off with the darker of the two, since it looked the most appetizing. As soon as I put the first bit of it in my mouth, my initial impression was, "this tastes saltier than I expected." If I'm being completely honest, it was not my favorite thing I've put in my mouth from Asia before. But hey, I signed up for this adventure so I was going to see it through. Surprisingly, as I continued putting more and more of it in my mouth, I just kind of got used to it and finished it off a lot faster than I expected I could. At this point in time, I knew that two servings of Dong was more than I bargained for. But there was the other one right in front of me. Still hot and ready to go into my mouth, so I went after it even though it felt intimidating to keep going after finishing that first serving. My second serving of Dong tasted quite a bit different than the first one. Something I did not expect. I think I actually liked it better to be honest. But the problem now was that I had already had my fill. One right after the other was just too much Dong for me to handle. Something a more experienced Dong consumer would have known, so I felt like a bit of an amateur. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to completely finish off the second serving of Dong. One would have been plenty for my first time. My final analysis is that Dong was different than I expected. It's not the worst thing I've ever tried on a whim, but I also wasn't as satisfied as I'd hoped to be. Would I try Dong again in the future? I guess it's possible... but next time I'm in St. Cloud, I think I'll just stick to the tacos. read more

Egg rolls are excellent, and the hot and sour soup is hearty with a ton of flavor. The curry is on point. The oyster wings are another favorite. YUM! The wontons are big. This place was amazing, the chicken curry was like Beyoncé singing a lullaby and the cream cheese wontons were a delicacy that melted in your mouth and made you think of Mariah Carey giving you a foot massage.
