    #5 Banh Khot (Qty 7)
    Tiffany T.

Food: good Service: good Ambiance: plenty of tables and good space I like the flavors of MT Noodles. Their fried rice is really good, their pork in the bun cha gio is marinated nicely and tastes flavorful, and I like that they use the rice paper to make their egg rolls. Their nuc mam is close to how my mom makes it too (sweet, sour, and spicy)! The Banh kot is just okay.. it's supposed to have the same batter as banh xeo, but it's not the same. It's thicker, white, and doesn't really have much flavor. I wish the appetizer came with more lettuce too. I want to wrap it all up and dunk it in nuc mam, but I can only do that with 1 piece :( I will go back to try other things and get the bun dac biet again though.

So delicious! I got the pho tai and egg rolls, and both were really good. The pho broth is a bit on the sweeter side, but still very flavorful and comforting. There was a generous amount of meat, and even the regular size was super filling. Overall, everything tasted fresh and satisfying I'd definitely come back!

Friends came to town so had to take them to one of my favorite Vietnamese spots in the suburbs. Free parking, no traffic jams like eat street , clean interior and great service... but most importantly amazing food. Order: Mini egg rolls with pork and shrimp. Delicious fried perfection. Great way to start the meal. Crunchy savory egg roll with the sweet, salty funky dipping sauce. Pho with well done brisket. I don't like the lean beef versions because the meat can leave some impurity in your broth as it cooks. The brisket is tender and flavorful. The regular size is a good enough portion to get you full. Broth is perfect. Such a satisfying bite.

He Said One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in MN. No hyperbole. Most everything is top-notch tasting. Pros: Food is nom nom nom good The owners are nice Cons: There are cheaper Vietnamese options, but they are not as good tasting.

We went to MT Noodles on a Tuesday around 7:15pm. Walking in the door we were hit with a delicious aroma, which is of course a very good sign. We ordered several items and it is important to note that the food comes out as it is ready, which means food may not come out as you would normally expect. For example my main dish came out first, about ten minutes later my partner's food came out, then the appetizer arrived. This was not a problem for us, but others may be annoyed. We ordered #5 Banh Khot as an appetizer. This came out last, after the rest of our food. I would probably not order it again as it was a bit greasy and did not have as strong of a flavor as I would like. Very edible, just not what I had hoped. For my meal I ordered #15 Com Tam Heo Nuong, Bi, Cha and a lychee lemonade. The lychee lemonade was very good and had a lychee in the bottom of the glass. There is a sort of egg bake thing that came with the meal that was good, but not my favorite. The main meat and rest of the dish was so good, very flavourful. There was also a paler meat which was also good, kind of sour, but not my favorite part of the meal. It was a lot of food. I took home leftovers and ate an additional three meals. My partner had #20 Pho Dav Biet. This was amazing and very flavourful with lots of meat. If you don't like cilantro you should order it without as there is definitely some cilantro in the dish. Will definitely order this again. He also had a Thai Tea which he said was very good. The service was fast and very friendly. Our server was very informative and willing to help us decide what to have. Ambiance is light and pleasant. The restaurant is clean, but worn. We saw a lot of takeout orders go through while we were there and a steady stream of people coming to eat in. Several tables were full when we arrived, by the time we left it was nearly full. They have a fish sauce that appears to be house made(?). It is fantastic! The server said I should put a couple tablespoons on my dish, but it was so good we put it on everything! The restaurant is in a mini mall, so there was plenty of parking. I would say the parking lot is not very handicapped friendly as there was no ramp in front of the restaurant, nor close enough for me to notice. The restaurant itself is pretty handicapped friendly. All in all a very pleasant experience. We will be back.

The pho broth at MT Noodles is delicious! It is one of our boys' favorite places for pho. We don't get to go here often because it is a little bit of a drive for us. The restaurant is fairly spacious and able to accommodate groups pretty well.

No words needed. Best canh chua in the metro. The banh xeo was sooo crispy too. I always complain about the drive, but the moment the food hits my mouth it's all worth it.

Among my friends and I, we have all collectively enjoyed our respective dishes, and had some of each others' food and provided our definite approval. For the record, I had some of the best bun dac biet I have ever had, so I can for sure see myself coming back to have it again. Speaking of such, the bun dac biet, which was the combo noodle salad, had sweet and tender grilled marinated pork, grilled marinated shrimp, peanuts, spring onions, pickled daikon & carrots, vermicelli, egg rolls, and fish sauce. All of them combined together basically made me feel like I was tasting a whole bunch of different flavors that worked with each other to provide a comprehensively delicious experience. The banh xeo, which was the Vietnamese crepe, was solid as well, although a bit more fish sauce might help. The fried rice tasted relatively plain, but with many pieces of marinated grilled pork added, the rice tasted amazing. The banh mi was also great in the most classic manner, which was a big positive as well. Overall, this place is great, and I recommend it to all around the area looking for quality Vietnamese food. Next time I visit, I definitely want to try their Ca Kho To, which is catfish cooked in claypot!

##11 Bo La Lot | Grilled Beef Rolls* (Rice paper to make the spring rolls)

Love this place. #8 is my go to item and is always delicious! We also tried #11 this time and rolled it up into our own spring rolls. My son that that was super fun even though we were horrible at it. Got the lychee lemonade and we all loved it so much we fought over it! The Vietnamese coffee was good but very strong! My husband liked that it was but I prefer sweet. To each their own. Customer service was great too. We'll be back!

Got seated right away and came here 1.5 hours before they close so was expecting a rush service but that was not case. It took about 15 minutes after being seated for someone to cover take our orders. The food came out as it was done per order not as a whole table. The restaurant dining area was almost filled with a few tables empty but looks like a full house. The nose level l was a little loud here there's no sound proofing so conversion nose levels can escalate quickly. We ordered cream cheese wonton, rare beef pho, cooked brisket pho, shrimp fried rice, chicken fried rice, and broken rice with grilled pork plate. The fried rice were flavorful and tasty with the rice cooked thoroughly and soft not dried and semi hard like Chinese fast food fried rice. The pho was good with lots of meat. The cream cheese wonton had a lot of cream cheese compare to other restaurants which is great! I wish we lived closer so I can come try their fried whole fish special. It looked so good from the menu. This is one of my sister's go to place for Vietnamese food near her house.

#10 Nem Nuong Grilled Pork Sausage*
    James L.

Worth the drive out of the cities to get some phenomenal food! The twin cities continues to impress with its large variety of Vietnamese restaurants that offer gigantic portions, this one included. I got the Nem Nuong and I honestly have no idea who could possible finish this in one sitting that's how big it is. I made three rolls and there was still more than half of the ingredient left to make more. Of course because of how delicious it is I took the rest home on a to go box and I have a feeling I can probably muster two more meals out of the leftovers alone. Service was also courteous and prompt and they have a well stocked cold case with cakes to purchase for any special occasion. If I were to nit pick about anything I would say their water had a sort of off aftertaste but otherwise everything was great.

    Amanda L.

Great hidden gem in the twin cities! First, all of the portion sizes are gigantic. Definitely can be shared or split into multiple meals. My pork fried rice was delicious! The pork had a great depth of flavor. Pricing was very reasonable, especially given the portion sizes. Easy parking as well with good service.

    Hot & Spicy Chicken
    Teresa L.

My husband and I went here for lunch. It was somewhat busy when we arrived. We were immediately seated. The food is as good as last time. I ordered the same thing: mini egg rolls and Mi Kho. My husband ordered the Hot & Spicy Chicken. He said it was good; the chicken was juicy, and the onion was cooked well. It was spicier than other Vietnamese restaurants that he had visited, and he loved spicy foods. He thinks everyone should try the Hot & Spicy Chicken and not let the name "spicy" deter them. I gave the place 4 out of 5 stars because there were 3 staff members working the front. We were never checked on. We could have used a water refill in the decanter. I went to ask the staff for a box after waiting a few minutes. Very minor issue.

Grilled marinated pork, shredded pork, steamed shrimp eggloaf, grilled pork dish - so delicious!

They serve some Thai, some Vietnamese, and some Chinese. I prefer a place that can pick a lane rather than try to accommodate 2+ types of cuisines. The place has about 15 or so tables. Both times I came for lunch and they have a $13.95 lunch special with choice of white or fried rice and then fried wontons or egg roll. Overall, flavor profile is sweet. They also use a lot of fish sauce. I ordered the spicy chicken Thai stir fry and egg roll. Egg roll is crispy and a little on the thinner side. The stir fry was ok. My friend ordered the lunch special chicken curry which she said that she liked. This place was busy with office groups out for lunch and a few other diners. This place wouldn't be a top choice for lunch but it's decent.

My mom loved the egg fu young. I love that over the years the menu has pretty much stayed the same. I've gotten to see a few generations run the place and things have stayed pretty true to what I always remembered growing up. My go to order now that my diet has shifted is wontons & chicken fried rice - add med. spice and no chicken. I know chicken fried rice with no chicken sounds crazy but I don't like the veggies in the veggie rice and I really love the flavor of the chicken fried rice without the chicken. Reheating the rice at times the chicken tends to get a bit rubbery after being reheated so many times and I just don't like it but the flavor is very solid without still. They have some of the best wontons I've ever had. Slight garlic flavor to balance the sweetness of the cream cheese. if I could I would eat an eggroll.. I miss them so much!
