It's super close and convenient for me, and the mango spring wrap was so refreshing and yummy, just like the eggroll. The pho is a bit sweet, but it's not bad. They forgot to add bobba to one of my drinks so I had to pour it in myself causing a mess., they didn't provide enough napkin...

Time: April 2025 Place: Located in a strip mall with ample free lot parking, this place is a convenient stop after a meal or shopping. The staff were nice and patient as we mulled over the menu! I will say the area could be kept a little cleaner (some gnats flying around), but overall the interior has new furnishings and there were several table spaces. Food: They have a very extensive and authentic menu! My parents were impressed with their variety of Vietnamese drink and food options (especially their Vietnamese street snacks)! Cafe trung (egg coffee): I really enjoyed this drink! It was pretty sweet-- similar to a macchiato at Starbucks, but with a stronger & more aromatic coffee taste. The flair that pushed this drink to one of my favorites was the pieces of sugar sprinkled throughout, it provided a sweet crunch while sipping on the drink. The coffee itself was also well made and tasted that the traditional Vietnamese coffee (strong and bitter-sweet). Overall, I would return again to get the same drink and also try their pho! I usually try not to ingest that much caffeine, but drink is just too satisfying!

I'm so happy we finally have a local spot for Vietnamese coffee in Champlin! Happy Cafe is tucked into a strip mall, making it a true hidden gem that's totally worth discovering. They open bright and early at 8AM, which is perfect for anyone needing a strong, delicious Vietnamese coffee fix to start the day. Their coffee menu has a great variety, and it's hands-down my favorite part of the visit. Rich, bold, and just the right amount of sweet exactly how Vietnamese coffee should be! They also offer a mix of Vietnamese street food, pho, and desserts. While I haven't tried everything yet, their Vietnamese desserts and coffee keep me coming back. The vibe is casual and cozy great for takeout or a chill hangout. If you're in the area (or even if you're not!), this spot is worth checking out. A little slice of Saigon right here in Champlin!

Okay I change my mind, I was the one with the review about half filled coffee cup, this place coffee is amazing and the people are always nice. What I didn't know is that they offer large and I'm almost there once or twice maybe 3 times a week, it's that good please check it out.

Stopped by to try another Vietnamese coffee in the Minneapolis area! This one tastes a lot more authentic than Caphin (although I still love Caphin), this one brings me straight back to my childhood! We got the Salt, Egg, and White coffee. The Salt one tastes like like a thick salted caramel on top of the delicious Viet coffee, and the Egg one is like a thick fluffy egg custard on top! Those two were unanimously our favorites! The White Coffee was still good! It's your OG cafe sua da, just a tad sweeter! The ladies at the counter were super sweet and helpful at helping me decide what to order! They also serve food if you're wanting to sit down to drink your coffee and eat your food! Very chill and no frills place! Highly recommend!!

New bubble cafe that recently opened in Champlin, MN. Right off highway 169 in the shopping center. I was surprised they offer food too. They recently opened and still have some kinks to iron out. The cashier was very nice explaining the kinks they're dealing with. They have a nice dining area on the left of the ordering counter. The restaurant is cute, decorated with cherry blossom near the entrance and floral/grass wall for photo opportunity. I ordered the coconut jelly to try. It was delicious. Would come back to try the entrees next time.

Delicious, authentic Vietnamese in the Blaine area. We went on a Saturday afternoon and the place…read moreand its parking lot was packed. Always a good sign. It shares a space as you walk in with a Boba place Mia and More. The servers were quick to take our name and seat us within 10 Mn. Simple menu with everything you would want. My only gripe as a vegetarian that there were limited options. But I asked them to take out fish sauce from my mock duck salad and they quickly understood and asked if I wanted a soy sauce instead. The salad was fresh, and mock duck sautéed well. We also had the Bun Bo Hue, which was told to me as better than the places on Eat Street such as Quang. So good was very good and service was fast. They have a large private parking lot. And longer tables for bigger parties of people. No Apple Pay to tap.

My wife and I stopped by Pho Viet 126. She had the sample platter and I went with the vermicelli…read morenoodles with chicken and shrimp. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The decor was nice, the restaurant was clean, and you could tell the staff took pride in helping customers and keeping the tables cleared and ready. Service was solid the whole time. Even though they were busy, the owner still came over to check on us, which I appreciated. Parking wasn't the easiest, but the food more than made up for it. We don't live close, but this is definitely a place we'll make the drive back to.

New beautiful look, same low grade food - 2 stars!…read more I arrived excited but I left angry. I saw the new restaurant and I was hopeful. The old place, Ming Tree, was pretty bad. After commenting about being happy that there's a new restaurant in this space, I was informed (by Mi) that this is basically the same place but it was "re-branded". Mi's Eatery is technically a new business with a new interior, a new name, a new logo, a new POS system - it looks really nice. It also has a second business in the same space for tea, smoothies, and Boba drinks called "Where 2 Tea". Unfortunately, they've adopted the same old food menu, most of the same staff (according to Mi), the same sad looking turtles, and a weird attitude along with some perplexing rules for customers. If they spent as much attention to the food as the new décor, they might really have something great. But sadly, this is not the case. The 3 things that irritated me the most were the food, the seating rules, and the captive Painted Turtles. GOOD: 1. The décor is beautiful. 2. Everything looks clean and organized. 3. The food comes out fast. 4. The stir-fry type foods are obviously made fresh & it comes out piping hot. 5. The Hot Sour Soup was good. The Egg Rolls tasted good too (but they were cold). 6. The prices are reasonable. 7. Parking is easy. BAD: 1. NO FULL SERVICE: There is NO "full-service" in this fancy new space "for now". If you want to dine-in, they yell out your name, and you pick-up your cafeteria tray of food inside to-go containers with plastic flatware & sauces in little plastic packs. It definitely doesn't match the fancy new décor. (I predict there will never be full service.) 2. SEATING RESTRICTIONS: I was told that I couldn't sit in the large main dining room with my food. That's only for the tea and smoothie drinkers. Really? I was the ONLY person in the restaurant on a snowy winter night! So I had to sit in the small side room like a little kid getting a time out. Any other place would happily let you sit where you want in an empty restaurant. This was very disrespectful to me as a first time visitor and as a paying customer, definitely turned me off and made me angry. 3. POOR COMMUNICATION: I had a million questions about the new place but the main woman could not speak well, I could hardly understand her. It was so bad, I finally gave up with my questions. But the other woman (standing right next to her) had perfect grammar. Why wasn't she the one talking to customers? My wife is from Peru, South America so I have sympathy for people with accents. But you need to understand your customers and they need to understand you. Put your best communicators front & center. 4. NO FLAVOR: My Mango Smoothie had ZERO taste of mango. It was okay. But it had a weird artificial factory candy type of taste...but no hint of mango whatsoever. 5. COLD FOOD: My pork egg rolls tasted decent but they were cool! Come on, cold food? 6. LAME ENTRE: My Beef Garlic meal had wimpy portions of beef (see photo), big over-sized chucks of green peppers (see photo), and I couldn't taste any garlic. Basically, this was an amateur green pepper stir fry with beef flavor and some canned mini-corns & water chestnuts - poorly executed & a waste of money. I threw most of it away. I didn't even save it for my Mastiff. I was actually angry about the food they foisted on me. 7. SAD TURTLES: The poor turtles are still there (see photos). The tank is now clean but they have an undersized light propped up with a pitcher and an empty plastic food container. No UV light anywhere, no plants, etc. I feel very sorry for them. 8. INCONSIDERATE RULES: Weird seating rules. The big fancy room - no food allowed, only drinks. I bought a smoothie (from Where 2 Tea) and food (from Mi's Eatery). Despite buying a specialty drink, they still made me sit in the little room. Strange. 9. POOR SERVICE: The general vibe is unfriendly, no smiles anywhere. And yelling my name out when my food came out - really? One of the 2 staff couldn't walk 15 feet and put it on my table? I was right in front of them. And I'm sure they saw that I have major health problems and I have a hard time walking, limping, and sitting down. Yelling out my name when I was staring at them was actually kinda funny, like a vintage SNL skit. 10. GASTROINTESTINAL SIDE EFFECTS: I've been on the toilet ever since I came home from eating this stuff. This is the only thing I ate all day. (And I'm notorious for being able to eat nearly anything.) 11. DONT DO IT: I recommend that you only come here if you have no standards for the food you put in your mouth. Finally - amazingly - I saw a steady stream of people picking up to-go orders. I don't understand how anyone in Champlin and Anoka thinks this stuff is good, especially since there are several excellent Asian restaurants nearby (for example, Ginger Café or Bamboo Village about 5 minutes north). Personally, I won't spend another dime here.

This place also makes the best grilled pork banh mi. It is the same grilled pork sliced up as you would get in the entrées. The pho here is also spectacular. You can really taste the oriental spices in their beef broth. I normally do not order the pho from here because they do not have tendon on their menu. I usually get any entrée that has the grilled pork. This place also has the best wonton noodle soup or plain wonton soup. They the wine times are Housemade dumplings and they're absolutely delicious. Their fried rice is really good, their pork in the bun dac biet is marinated nicely and tastes flavorful, and I like that they use the rice paper to make their egg rolls. Their nuc mam is close to how my mom makes it too (sweet, sour, and spicy)! The Banh kot is just okay.. it's supposed to have the same batter as banh xeo, but it's not the same. It's thicker, white, and doesn't really have much flavor. I wish the appetizer came with more lettuce too. I want to wrap it all up and dunk it in nuc mam, but I can only do that with 1 piece :( I will go back to try other things and get the bun dac biet again though.
