They had a bakery case that looked really tasty, so we decided to get 3 items to share. - Lemon macaron - perfection and had a gooey chewiness. We could eat a ton of these. - Eclair - I don't think I've ever had an eclair and now I am questioning why! It was chilled and the perfect amount of filling to outside pastry. The chocolate falls off when you bite it, so eat over a napkin to not lose any pieces. - Chocolate croissant or pastry. I think it was Nutella and it was incredible! Flakey, gooey and everything you'd want it to be. I'm sure you could warm it up and it would elevate it further. Yum! We both got a fruit tea and it was a lot. Sadly, I wouldn't get again as it was too sweet and my boba tasted like ramen noodles. (It actually made me hungry for ramen). My teen got the strawberry milk tea and even said it was sickly sweet and she needed the ice to sit. Overall, I didn't love the boba... but I would recommend the pastry! This was supposed to be a very special part of her birthday celebration, and I couldn't even give her the cake. I contacted the bakery Sunday morning. When they reopened Tuesday, they called me after seeing the pictures I sent. I was told that I must have dropped the cake. I absolutely did not. I was also told that I had been instructed to refrigerate the cake, which I was never told that too. I understand that once a cake leaves the bakery, they cannot control what happens to it. However, I showed the pictures to experienced cake bakers, and they felt the way the cake had been rushed, prepared and decorated could have contributed to what happened. I know in my heart I didn't do anything wrong. What was most upsetting to me was how the situation was handled. I contacted the bakery in good faith because I was hoping they would make it right but they didn't care and accused me of the cakes outcome.
