I've been here a few times (no photos sadly as I've only been there via drive through) but the food is always good. If you are looking for a healthier lighter lunch that is decently priced give them a try. The location cannot be in their favor as it's off the beaten path. But worth a try. Also they have bakery items you can buy that are premade, but not cooked to cook at your convenience. We did this with the cinnamon rolls and there are very good. read more

This was a grubhub pick-up order for myself. The estimated time was approximately 18 minutes. However, it was ready within 10 minutes. I ordered the seasonal drink, lavender latte, and $5.65. I added almond milk and was charged $1.00 extra. I also ordered a caramel roll of $5.72. The star was the caramel roll, my oh my, it was so GOOD!! Everything about it was perfect. I regret not buying another one for the following day. I'm sad to say that the coffee was a miss. I didn't enjoy my morning cup of coffee, and it was difficult to finish. It was bitter, and I didn't taste the lavender. I'll pass on the coffee next time and just enjoy some baked goods. The owner greeted me when I walked in and had my order ready. The roll was packaged in a to go container with a fork. They have a large parking lot and a drive-thru. I recommend going in and viewing the dessert case. Sis and I adventured out to Circle Pines to try this independent, small business. I've heard many good things via word of mouth. We stopped in with the intention of just getting a coffee and maybe a pastry item. But once we walked in, the smells changed my mind. We both purchased breakfast croissant sandwiches instead. One man was working the counter. So after the orders were taken, he got started on the food prep. He was great with multitasking our orders with greeting new customers walking in and helping them at the counter. Mocha coffee was wonderful, and the breakfast panini was HOT. The pastry display case was sold out of cinnamon/ caramel rolls. I inquired if more could be made, but it seemed like once they were gone, that was it for the day (**see below**). However, I was happy to find that they were also in their freezer. I purchased a package of 6 (including the cream cheese frosting). I also purchased a package of 1 dozen ready to bake chocolate chip cookies (these are bigger than your hand after baking) and a jar of salted caramel. **I have since made the cinnamon rolls, and it is raw dough that needs to thaw, then proof/rise, and then you bake. So it takes hours to make vs just pop them in the oven like Pillsbury rolls. The house smells so good when baking, like my Grandma's!** Everything I've tried has been wonderful. Went in on Saturday morning. No other customers in store. The girl said hi and then ignored me for about 3 minutes or so. Half the display cases were empty and they didn't have anything a child would eat. Ended up picking 4 things for what I added up to being around $16 which was already insane, but I was okay with it until she kept hitting buttons and was told the price is actually $22.58. So I got sub par service, inacurate pricing and some kind of gratuity added on. The pastries were good but I'm predicting a Fall closure....they could kill it if they made stuff people could afford...especially with the schools right next door. read more

Stopped by this new bakery that is very close to our house. We tried a few different things and everything was very tasty. The croissant sandwich was good but a bit small. Cute place! It's always nice to have a local bakery to run to in the morning. We originally wanted to grab a donut but that wasn't on their menu on this day. Instead my husband and I got a pumpkin bar and a blueberry scone. The scone was great, actually reminded me a bit of a donut so not super scone like but delicious. The cake on the pumpkin bar was fabulous, but what missed the mark for me entirely was the frosting on the pumpkin bar. It was so formed it peeled off in one piece and you could slice it with a knife in well formed pieces. It was almost like a butter fondant. Probably the weirdest frosting consistency I've ever had. Their chai was good, pretty average. It might be worth stopping by if you're passing through. They do seem to be VERY expensive. 20 bucks for a small scone, average pumpkin bar and chai- woof. read more

I have been meaning to try this bakery for sometime however don't usually go to bakeries very often since I am gluten free... Imagine my extreme excitement when I found out that they serve you with free bakery items! I couldn't help myself so I had to try two different items since it's so hard to find a bakery that offers fresh made gluten-free desserts. I tried the gluten-free lemon bar and the coconut macaroon. The lemon bar was fantastically tart and very sweet with in crispy crust that you truly wouldn't even guess was gluten free. It appears that they use fresh lemon zest as you can see it in the lemon curd which was perfectly set. Those who have to eat GF will appreciate and understand my further excitement that it didn't crumble/fall apart. The coconut macaroon was NOT dry and flaky which I find more often than not. It was almost gooey (not in a bad way), chewy and not quite light but I think it was fantastic. Also sweet but not too much so and filled with lots of coconut! The cold press was amazing - just a really good cold press. I added a little caramel and almond milk (and had the option of oat milk as well to substitute dairy in my drink - note the desserts I did NOT pay attention to if they were dairy free although there were vegan take and bake scones). I'm looking forward on swinging by on my way home to get frozen take & bake scones to try tomorrow AM. I will update if they are anything other than great. Stopped in to check it out and support a local business. I went in and they were out of everything I requested. No cinnamon rools, dinner rolls, cookies, and bismarks. I settled on a 2 1/2 inch cheesecake for me and a smaller cupcake for my wife. Dang near fell over when the server said $8.89 please. wow! After dinner we sat down for desert to eat the most expensive mini pastries I have ever purchased. Sad to say they were less then good, very dry and lacked flavor. Very bland frosting and missing anything that made it memerable. I am super disapointed because i wanted to love it. read more

I love to support small and local businesses and I was really excited to bring my kids here for a treat, so it was disappointing to be underwhelmed. We ordered 4 small hot chocolates, a donut, a caramel roll, a crème brûlée, and a scone. First, the total came to nearly $40 which was a bit of a shock for a "treat." There were not a lot of places to sit, and the empty tables were all in need of a wipe down. It was gross to sit at a dirty table to enjoy $40 worth of treats. For that kind of money, I'd expect the place to be clean and inviting. Secondly, the hot chocolate was tasty and they used real whipped cream, but it took a long, long time to get them all out. Two came out first, and the other two took at least 10 extra minutes. It would have been nice to enjoy all our treats together, but the first two were nearly gone by the time the second two were ready. Third and lastly, it was a bizarre setup. There was no place to pick up your order, so they just kinda hand you stuff over all the counter stuff, like flavoring bottles and the cash register, and all sorts of clutter. It just seemed very unorganized to be serving customers face to face. I will say, the staff was extremely friendly. All young people that were smiling and accommodating. And the food was good. You can tell they use quality ingredients and really care about the product they serve. More of a date-day stop than a quick treat with the kids kind of place. read more
