    Meekong Curry

Sure it's in a strip mall between a liquor store and a gas station, but who cares when the Meekong Curry is this good?! We love the fresh spring rolls, the green papaya salad, the Sweet Basil noodles, stir fry and curries. Service is always friendly, and the space is clean and bright.

Very nice, clean spot with fresh and flavorful food. Tofu spring rolls were super fresh and the tofu still warm. Shiitake stir fry was delicious and so was a red Thai curry.

I got the Seafood Tom Yum and the Sweet Basil Noodles. The Tom Yum had lots of mushrooms and the broth had this wonderfull LemonGrass flavor The Sweet Basil noodles was a bit like Pad Thai but it had a very fresh basil flavor to it.

Had a great experience here. Food was really good so was service. Got chicken pad thai and kao poon. Both dishes were delicious but the Pad Thai had a little more edge to it. Will definitely return to try more dishes.

We ordered the curry and pad Thai. The curry was good but did not have enough of the broth/soup. The pad Thai was good.

The pineapple Fried rice was bland and doesn't even taste like Thai food. The red curry was just as bad too

Then came the food... absolutely incredible and beyond delicious. Every dish was packed with flavor--even the tofu, and I don't normally like tofu! That's saying something. The drinks were equally amazing, and the slushie? 10/10, highly recommend. And yes, we tried all the desserts (a little dramatic, I know), but honestly, there were zero regrets because every single one was delicious. If I had to pick a favorite, the bread pudding stole the show. Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!

Food: My wife had the "Beach Day Energy Cocktail" ($9) from the Happy Hour menu (Sunday through Thursday, 4:00 to 5:30 pm). It consists of Dragon fruit vodka, lychee, Cappelletti, lime, and mint. She said it was quite refreshing and tasty. We then had the Adobo Pork Ribs ($13). This was the highlight dish for us and it was fantastic and utterly cravable!. It was sticky, sweet, tangy and just all around yummy. Our next dish was the Thai-Style Viet Crepe Salad from the Happy Hour menu ($8). This consisted of a turmeric-coconut nan-style bread, with bean sprouts, cucumber, onion, chili, and nuac cham sauce. It was good, but I'm not sure the bread paired well with the salad and it was perhaps a bit too spicy for us. Next we had the Hat Yai Fried Chicken with curry dipping sauce ($23). We enjoyed this, and it was a good variation of Korean Fried Chicken. Finally, to celebrate my birthday, we had an excellent Tiramisu. This often is very dry, but Hai Hai's version was superb. It wasn't comped, but did come with a birthday candle. Service: The service was very friendly, warm, and competent. Our server was excellent and exactly the type of person we really appreciate. Ambiance: This place has a great vibe and a very mixed, eclectic, and diverse customer base. It has a large outside area, as well as the indoor restaurant and bar area. Something for everyone to love.

We went for it and we wer not disappointed. Located in a strip mall with a number of interesting food options (we will be back) LTK is a clean, pretty standard asian restaurant. Nothing fancy, but clean and nice. The staff was very pleasant and service was quick ( it was early on a Monday) The food is what made it. Definitely a step above your average Thai restaurant. It was a pleasure to eat and LTK is definitely on our repeat list.

I'd only recommend for takeout. Plenty of parking in the shared lot. The interior of this space is fairly generic, but clean. Service was ROUGH! Their ice machine was "broken" so we had room temperature water, which was unfortunate given the spice level of the food. The heat inside was kicked up too high, so we were uncomfortably sweating. The order our food was delivered...entree #1, app #1, entree #2, app #2, all about 5 minutes apart (insert scratching head emoji). The server also didn't ask how spicy we wanted the Panang curry, and it came out blazing. I guess I'm just accustomed to them asking about Spice Level, especially in Minnesota. The food was great, so that redeemed the location amongst their service woes. Freshly fried Cream Cheese Wontons were little pillows of goodness. The Pork Egg Rolls were crispy and filled with flavor. My Pad Thai was very saucy, which I appreciated since sometimes places leave the dish too dry. The Panang Curry had good flavor, but as described above, was VERY spicy. Might give this spot another chance when I'm craving takeout, but likely won't dine in again.

The volume in the restaurant is quite loud, so the patio may be better if you don't want to speak up at the table. Service is on the slower side but the food is worth the wait. -- The Sakoo small plate was an incredible dish! The texture contrast between the filling, chewy exterior, and lettuce shell was fantastic. It was so flavorful and has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Mango Fish entree was packed with flavor, and is a very umami-forward dish. The piece of crispy salmon skin on the side is perfectly crunchy and salty. It's a filet of salmon (not a whole fish) and the salmon is nice and buttery. -- The Duck Fried Rice entree had good flavor but the duck meat was dry. It did not come with the duck leg or crispy skin, and instead had chunks of duck meat throughout the dish. This dish has a bit of a spice kick to it. -- The Pistachio Orange Blossom Cake dessert was SO GOOD. I'm not a huge dessert person and I ate every bite of this. The cake is so moist and pairs well with the fluffy mousse covering the cake. The little bits of baklava and orange zest complemented this dish really well.

I will be thinking of how good that dish is for the rest of my life; the coconut milk and lime combined with the texture of fresh seafood really hit the spot! The Thai basil wings and Massaman curry were very yummy also. I enjoyed my meal so thoroughly that I forgot to take many pictures. The presentation on my cocktail (a tonic with vodka and buddha hand fruit) was very pretty. Service was thoughtful and quick. The restaurant itself was beautiful and open and airy -- I almost felt like I wasn't in Minneapolis anymore. We went on a Tuesday, and only drawback I'd say is that the noise level can be a little bit loud due to the acoustics and how the room is one giant space. Otherwise, very happy with the restaurant and would go again.

Their fried rice is really good, their pork in the bun cha gio is marinated nicely and tastes flavorful, and I like that they use the rice paper to make their egg rolls. Their nuc mam is close to how my mom makes it too (sweet, sour, and spicy)! The Banh kot is just okay.. it's supposed to have the same batter as banh xeo, but it's not the same. It's thicker, white, and doesn't really have much flavor. I wish the appetizer came with more lettuce too.
